József elment, és tudtára adta a fáraónak: Atyám és testvéreim idejöttek Kánaán földjéről juhaikkal, barmaikkal és mindenükkel, amijük van, és most Gósen földjén vannak.

Elméne azért József és tudtára adá a Faraónak, és monda: Az én atyám és atyámfiai, juhaikkal, barmaikkal és mindenökkel valamijök volt, ide jöttek Kanaán földéről; és most Gósen földén vannak.

Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

Iosif s-a dus să înştiinţeze pe faraon şi i-a spus: „Fraţii mei şi tatăl meu au sosit din ţara Canaan, cu oile şi boii şi cu tot avutul lor; şi sunt în ţinutul Gosen.”

So Joseph went in and told Pharaoh, “My father and my brothers, with their flocks and herds and all that they possess, have come from the land of Canaan. They are now in the land of Goshen.”

And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.

And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

Pharaoh said to his brothers, “What is your occupation?” And they said to Pharaoh, “Your servants are shepherds, as our fathers were.”

Majd azt mondták a fáraónak: Azért jöttünk, hogy e földön megtelepedjünk, mert a te szolgáid állatainak nincs legelőjük, mivel hatalmassá lett az éhség Kánaán földjén. Hadd lakjanak azért most a te szolgáid Gósen földjén.

És mondának a Faraónak: Azért jöttünk, hogy e földön tartózkodjunk, mert a te szolgáid barmainak nincs legelője, mivelhogy elhatalmazott az éhség Kanaán földén: hadd lakjanak azért most a te szolgáid Gósen földén.

They said morever unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

Şi au mai zis lui faraon: „Noi am venit ca să locuim o vreme aici în ţară, pentru că nu mai este păşune pentru oile robilor tăi şi este o mare foamete în ţara Canaanului; îngăduie, dar, robilor tăi să locuiască în ţinutul Gosen.”

They said to Pharaoh, “We have come to sojourn in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks, for the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. And now, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

A fáraó így szólt Józsefhez: Atyád és testvéreid idejöttek hozzád.

And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.

Egyiptom földje, íme, előtted van. E föld legjobb részén telepítsd le atyádat és testvéreidet, hadd lakjanak a Gósen földjén. Ha pedig tudod, hogy vannak közöttük rátermett emberek, tedd azokat az én jószágaim gondviselőivé.

Égyiptom földe ímé előtted van; e föld legjobb részében telepítsd le a te atyádat és atyádfiait, lakozzanak a Gósen földén: ha pedig tudod, hogy vannak közöttök arra termett emberek, tedd azokat az én barmaim gondviselőivé.

The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

Ţara Egiptului este deschisă înaintea ta; aşază pe tatăl tău şi pe fraţii tăi în cea mai bună parte a ţării. Să locuiască în ţinutul Gosen; şi dacă găseşti printre ei oameni destoinici, pune-i în fruntea turmelor mele.”

The land of Egypt is before you. Settle your father and your brothers in the best of the land. Let them settle in the land of Goshen, and if you know any able men among them, put them in charge of my livestock.”

József bevezette atyját, Jákóbot is, és a fáraó elé állította. Jákób köszöntötte a fáraót.

And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

Then Joseph brought in Jacob his father and stood him before Pharaoh, and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

And Pharaoh said to Jacob, “How many are the days of the years of your life?”

Jákób ezt felelte a fáraónak: Vándorlásom esztendeinek száma százharminc esztendő. Életem esztendeinek napjai kevesek és nyomorúságosak voltak, nem érték el atyáim élete esztendeinek napjait, ameddig ők vándoroltak.

Monda pedig Jákób a Faraónak: Az én bujdosásom esztendeinek napjai száz harmincz esztendő; kevesek és nyomorúságosak voltak az én életem esztendeinek napjai, és nem érték el az én atyáim élete esztendeinek napjait, a meddig ők bujdostak.

And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

Iacov a răspuns lui faraon: „Zilele anilor călătoriei mele sunt o sută treizeci de ani. Zilele anilor vieţii mele au fost puţine la număr şi rele şi n-au atins zilele anilor vieţii părinţilor mei, în timpul călătoriei lor.”

And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The days of the years of my sojourning are 130 years. Few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and they have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their sojourning.”

Majd megáldotta Jákób a fáraót, és kiment a fáraó elől.

És megáldá Jákób a Faraót, és kiméne a Faraó elől.

And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's household, with bread, according to their families.

And Joseph provided his father, his brothers, and all his father’s household with food, according to the number of their dependents.

Kenyér nem volt az egész földkerekségen, mert igen nagy volt az éhínség, és Egyiptom és Kánaán földje elalélt az éhség miatt.

És kenyér nem vala az egész föld kerekségén, mert igen nagy vala az éhség, és elalélt vala Égyiptom földe, és a Kanaán földe az éhség miatt.

And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.

Nu mai era pâine în toată ţara, căci foametea era foarte mare; ţara Egiptului şi ţara Canaanului tânjeau din pricina foametei.

Now there was no food in all the land, for the famine was very severe, so that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan languished by reason of the famine.

József pedig összeszedett minden pénzt, ami Egyiptom és Kánaán földjén található volt, a gabona fejében, amelyet vásároltak. Ezt a pénzt bevitte József a fáraó házába.

And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

Iosif a strâns tot argintul care se găsea în ţara Egiptului şi în ţara Canaanului, în schimbul grâului pe care-l cumpărau oamenii, şi astfel a făcut ca tot argintul acesta să intre în casa lui faraon.

And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, in exchange for the grain that they bought. And Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s house.

Amikor elfogyott a pénz Egyiptom földjén is, Kánaán földjén is, egész Egyiptom Józsefhez ment, és azt mondták: Adj nekünk kenyeret! Miért haljunk meg szemed láttára azért, mert nincs pénz?

És mikor elfogyott a pénz Égyiptom földéről is, Kanaán földéről is, egész Égyiptom Józsefhez méne, mondván: Adj nékünk kenyeret, miért haljunk meg szemed láttára, azért hogy nincs pénz?

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

Când s-a sfârşit argintul din ţara Egiptului şi din ţara Canaanului, toţi egiptenii au venit la Iosif şi au zis: „Dă-ne pâine! Pentru ce să murim în faţa ta? Căci argint nu mai avem.”

And when the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? For our money is gone.”

József így felelt: Hozzátok ide jószágaitokat, adok nektek jószágaitokért, ha már nincs pénz.

És monda József: Hozzátok ide barmaitokat, és adok néktek a ti barmaitokért, ha nincs pénz.

And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

Iosif a zis: „Daţi vitele voastre şi vă voi da pâine în schimbul vitelor voastre, dacă nu mai aveţi argint.”

And Joseph answered, “Give your livestock, and I will give you food in exchange for your livestock, if your money is gone.”

Erre elvitték jószágaikat Józsefhez, és az adott nekik kenyeret lovakért, juhokért, ökrökért és szamarakért. Eltartotta őket abban az esztendőben kenyérrel minden jószágukért.

És elvivék barmaikat Józsefhez, és ada nékik József kenyeret lovakért, juhokért, ökrökért és szamarakért: és eltartá őket abban az esztendőben kenyérrel az ő barmaik összeségéért.

And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

Şi-au adus vitele la Iosif, şi Iosif le-a dat pâine în schimbul cailor, în schimbul turmelor de oi şi de boi şi în schimbul măgarilor. Le-a dat astfel pâine în anul acela în schimbul tuturor turmelor lor.

So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them food in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the herds, and the donkeys. He supplied them with food in exchange for all their livestock that year.

Amikor eltelt az esztendő, a második esztendőben is elmentek hozzá, és így szóltak: Nem titkolhatjuk el uramtól, hogy bizony elfogyott a pénz, és nyájaink mind az én uramnál vannak. Amint látja az én uram, semmink sem maradt, csak a testünk és a földünk.

Mikor pedig elmúlék az esztendő, menének hozzá a második esztendőben, és mondának néki: Nem titkolhatjuk el uramtól, hogy bizony elfogyott a pénz, és a barom-nyájak mind uramnál vannak, a mint látja az én uram semmi sem maradt, csak testünk és földünk.

When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

După ce a trecut anul acela, au venit la Iosif în anul următor şi i-au zis: „Nu putem să ascundem domnului nostru faptul că argintul s-a sfârşit, şi turmele de vite au trecut în stăpânirea domnului nostru; nu mai rămân înaintea domnului nostru decât trupurile şi pământurile noastre.

And when that year was ended, they came to him the following year and said to him, “We will not hide from my lord that our money is all spent. The herds of livestock are my lord’s. There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land.

Miért vesszünk el szemed láttára mind mi magunk, mind a földünk? Vegyél meg minket és a földünket a kenyérért cserébe, és mi a földünkkel együtt a fáraó szolgái leszünk. Csak adj magot, hogy éljünk, s ne haljunk meg, és a föld ne pusztuljon el.

Miért veszszünk el szemed láttára mind magunk, mind földünk? végy meg minket és földünket kenyéren, és mi és a mi földünk szolgái leszünk a Faraónak; csak adj magot, hogy éljünk s ne haljunk meg, és a föld ne pusztuljon el.

Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.

Pentru ce să murim sub ochii tăi, noi şi pământurile noastre? Cumpără-ne, împreună cu pământurile noastre, în schimbul pâinii şi vom fi ai domnului nostru, noi şi pământurile noastre. Dă-ne sămânţă să semănăm, ca să trăim şi să nu murim şi să nu ne rămână pământurile pustii.”

Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh. And give us seed that we may live and not die, and that the land may not be desolate.”

József tehát megvette egész Egyiptom földjét a fáraónak, mert az egyiptomiak mind eladták a földjüket, mivel elhatalmasodott rajtuk az éhség. Így a föld a fáraóé lett.

Megvevé azért József egész Égyiptom földét a Faraó részére, mert az Égyiptombeliek mind eladák az ő földjöket, mivelhogy erőt vett vala rajtok az éhség. És a föld a Faraóé lőn.

And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's.

Iosif a cumpărat pentru faraon toate pământurile Egiptului; căci egiptenii şi-au vândut fiecare ogorul, pentru că îi silea foametea. Şi ţara a ajuns în stăpânirea lui faraon.

So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh, for all the Egyptians sold their fields, because the famine was severe on them. The land became Pharaoh’s.

And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

As for the people, he made servants of them from one end of Egypt to the other.

Csak a papok földjét nem vette meg, mert a papoknak szabott részük volt a fáraótól, és abból a szabott részből éltek, amit a fáraó adott nekik. Ezért nem adták el a földjüket.

Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.

Numai pământurile preoţilor nu le-a cumpărat, pentru că era o lege a lui faraon, dată în folosul preoţilor, care trăiau din venitul pe care li-l dădea faraon: de aceea ei nu şi-au vândut pământurile.

Only the land of the priests he did not buy, for the priests had a fixed allowance from Pharaoh and lived on the allowance that Pharaoh gave them; therefore they did not sell their land.

Akkor József ezt mondta a népnek: Íme, a mai napon megvettelek titeket és földeteket a fáraónak. Itt van számotokra a mag, vessétek be a földet!

És monda József a népnek: Ímé megvettelek titeket a mai napon, és a ti földeteket a Faraónak. Ímhol számotokra a mag, vessétek be a földet.

Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.

Iosif a zis poporului: „V-am cumpărat azi cu pământurile voastre, pentru faraon; iată, vă dau sămânţă ca să puteţi semăna pământul.

Then Joseph said to the people, “Behold, I have this day bought you and your land for Pharaoh. Now here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land.

Betakarításkor adjatok a fáraónak egyötöd részt, négy rész pedig legyen a tietek a mező bevetésére és élelmetekre, mind magatoknak, mind házatok népének és gyermekeiteknek eledelül.

És takaráskor adjatok a Faraónak egy ötödrészt; négy rész pedig legyen a tiétek, a mező bevetésére és éléstekre, mind magatoknak, mind házatok népének, és gyermekeiteknek eledelül.

And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

La vremea roadelor, veţi da a cincea parte lui faraon; iar celelalte patru părţi vă vor rămâne vouă, ca să semănaţi ogoarele şi să vă hrăniţi împreună cu copiii voştri şi cu cei ce sunt în casele voastre.”

And at the harvests you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four fifths shall be your own, as seed for the field and as food for yourselves and your households, and as food for your little ones.”

Ők ezt felelték: Megmentetted az életünket. Hadd találjunk kegyelmet uram szeme előtt, és mi a fáraó szolgái leszünk.

És mondának: Életünket megtartottad; hadd találjunk kegyelmet uram szemei előtt, és szolgái leszünk a Faraónak.

And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.

Ei au zis: „Tu ne-ai scăpat viaţa! Să căpătăm trecere înaintea domnului nostru şi vom fi robi ai lui faraon.”

And they said, “You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh.”

És törvénnyé tette azt József mind e mai napig Egyiptom földjén, hogy a fáraóé az ötödrész, egyedül csak a papok földje nem volt az övé.

És törvénynyé tevé azt József mind e mai napig Égyiptom földén, hogy a Faraóé az ötödrész, csak a papok földe, egyedűl az nem volt a Faraóé.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part, except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's.

Iosif a făcut din aceasta o lege, care a rămas în picioare până în ziua de azi, şi după care, a cincea parte din venitul pământurilor Egiptului este a lui faraon; numai pământurile preoţilor nu sunt ale lui faraon.

So Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt, and it stands to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth; the land of the priests alone did not become Pharaoh’s.

Izráel tehát Egyiptomban a Gósen földjén lakott, megörökölték azt, megszaporodtak és nagyon-nagyon megsokasodtak ott.

And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

Israel a locuit în ţara Egiptului, în ţinutul Gosen. Ei s-au înstărit, au crescut şi s-au înmulţit foarte mult.

Thus Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen. And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly.

Jákób pedig tizenhét esztendeig élt Egyiptom földjén, és élete esztendeinek ideje száznegyvenhét esztendő volt.

Jákób pedig tizenhét esztendeig él vala Égyiptom földén, és Jákób élete esztendeinek napjai száz negyvenhét esztendő.

And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.

Iacov a trăit şaptesprezece ani în ţara Egiptului; şi zilele anilor vieţii lui Iacov au fost de o sută patruzeci şi şapte de ani.

And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years. So the days of Jacob, the years of his life, were 147 years.

Mikor elközelgettek Izráel halálának napjai, hívatta fiát, Józsefet, és ezt mondta neki: Ha kedves vagyok előtted, kérlek, tedd a kezedet a csípőm alá, és légy hozzám szeretettel és hűséggel; kérlek, ne Egyiptomban temess el engem.

És elközelgetének Izráel halálának napjai, és hívatá az ő fiát Józsefet, s monda néki: Ha én te előtted kedves vagyok, kérlek tedd a kezedet tomporom alá, és légy hozzám szeretettel és hűséggel: Kérlek ne temess el engem Égyiptomban.

And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

Când s-a apropiat Israel de clipa morţii, a chemat pe fiul său Iosif şi i-a zis: „Dacă am căpătat trecere înaintea ta, pune, rogu-te, mâna sub coapsa mea şi poartă-te cu bunătate şi credincioşie faţă de mine: să nu mă îngropi în Egipt.

And when the time drew near that Israel must die, he called his son Joseph and said to him, “If now I have found favor in your sight, put your hand under my thigh and promise to deal kindly and truly with me. Do not bury me in Egypt,

Miután elalszom az én atyáimmal, vigyél ki engem Egyiptomból, és temess el az ő sírjukba. József így felelt: Szavaid szerint fogok cselekedni.

Midőn elaluszom az én atyáimmal, vígy ki engem Égyiptomból és temess el az ő sírjokba. És monda: Én a te beszéded szerint cselekszem.

But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

Ci când mă voi culca lângă părinţii mei, să mă scoţi afară din Egipt şi să mă îngropi în mormântul lor.” Iosif a răspuns: „Voi face după cuvântul tău.”

but let me lie with my fathers. Carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burying place.” He answered, “I will do as you have said.”
