Majd éhínség támadt az országban, az első éhség után, amely Ábrahám idejében volt. Elment azért Izsák Gerába Abímelekhez, a filiszteusok királyához.

Lőn pedig éhség az országban, amaz első éhség után, mely Ábrahám idejében vala. Elméne azért Izsák Abimélekhez a Filiszteusok királyához Gérárba.

And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

În ţară a venit o foamete, afară de foametea dintâi, care fusese pe vremea lui Avraam. Isaac s-a dus la Abimelec, împăratul filistenilor, la Gherar.

Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar to Abimelech king of the Philistines.

Mert megjelent neki az ÚR, és ezt mondta: Ne menj le Egyiptomba! Lakjál azon a földön, amelyet én mondok neked.

Mert megjelent vala néki az Úr és ezt mondotta vala: Ne menj alá Égyiptomba! lakjál azon a földön, melyet mondándok tenéked.

And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

Domnul i S-a arătat şi i-a zis: „Nu te coborî în Egipt! Rămâi în ţara în care îţi voi spune.

And the LORD appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you.

Maradj ezen a földön, és én veled leszek, és megáldalak. Mert neked és utódaidnak adom mindezt a földet, hogy megtartsam az esküt, amellyel megesküdtem atyádnak, Ábrahámnak.

Tartózkodjál ezen a földön, és én veled leszek és megáldalak téged; mert tenéked és a te magodnak adom mind ezeket a földeket, hogy megerősítsem az esküvést, melylyel megesküdtem Ábrahámnak a te atyádnak.

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

Locuieşte ca străin în ţara aceasta; Eu voi fi cu tine şi te voi binecuvânta; căci toate ţinuturile acestea ţi le voi da ţie şi seminţei tale şi voi ţine jurământul pe care l-am făcut tatălui tău, Avraam.”

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father.

Megsokasítom magzatodat, mint az ég csillagait, és magzatodnak adom mindezt a földet, és utódaidban áldást nyer a föld minden nemzetsége,

És megsokasítom a te magodat mint az ég csillagait, és a te magodnak adom mind ezeket a földeket: és megáldatnak a te magodban a földnek minden nemzetségei;

And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

Îţi voi înmulţi sămânţa, ca stelele cerului; voi da seminţei tale toate ţinuturile acestea; şi toate neamurile pământului vor fi binecuvântate în sămânţa ta, ca răsplată,

I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,

mivel hallgatott Ábrahám a szavamra: megtartotta a megtartandókat, parancsolataimat, rendeléseimet és törvényeimet.

Mivelhogy hallgata Ábrahám az én szavamra: és megtartotta a megtartandókat, parancsolataimat, rendeléseimet és törvényeimet.

Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Izsák pedig Gerárban lakott.

And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:

Astfel Isaac a rămas la Gherar.

So Isaac settled in Gerar.

Mikor annak a helynek lakosai a felesége felől kérdezősködtek, azt mondta: a húgom ő. Mert félt azt mondani: a feleségem; azt gondolván: nehogy megöljenek engem e hely lakói Rebekáért, mivel ő szép arcú.

És mikor annak a helynek lakosai az ő felesége felől kérdezősködének, azt mondja vala: én húgom ő. Mert fél vala azt mondani: én feleségem; [gondolván:] nehogy megöljenek engem e helynek lakosai Rebekáért, mivelhogy szép ábrázatú ő.

And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look upon.

Când îi puneau oamenii locului aceluia întrebări cu privire la nevasta lui, el zicea: „Este sora mea.” Căci îi era frică să spună că este nevasta sa, ca să nu-l omoare oamenii locului aceluia, fiindcă Rebeca era frumoasă la chip.

When the men of the place asked him about his wife, he said, “She is my sister,” for he feared to say, “My wife,” thinking, “lest the men of the place should kill me because of Rebekah,” because she was attractive in appearance.

Egy idő múlva Abímelek, a filiszteusok királya kitekintett az ablakon, és látta Izsákot, amint Rebekával, a feleségével enyeleg.

És lőn idő multával, hogy Abimélek a Filiszteusok királya kitekintvén az ablakon, látá Izsákot enyelegni Rebekával az ő feleségével.

And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.

Fiindcă şederea lui acolo se lungise, s-a întâmplat că Abimelec, împăratul filistenilor, uitându-se pe fereastră, a văzut pe Isaac jucându-se cu nevasta sa, Rebeca.

When he had been there a long time, Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out of a window and saw Isaac laughing with Rebekah his wife.

Odakiáltott Abímelek Izsáknak: Íme, bizony, a feleséged ő! Hogyan mondhattad hát: a húgom? Izsák ezt felelte: Mert azt gondoltam, még meg kell halnom miatta.

Kiálta azért Abimélek Izsáknak, és monda: Ímé bizony feleséged ő; hogyan mondhattad [tehát:] húgom ő!? És monda neki Izsák: Mert azt gondolám, netalán még meg kell halnom miatta.

And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is thy wife; and how saidst thou, She is my sister? And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.

Abimelec a trimis să cheme pe Isaac şi i-a zis: „Nu mai încape îndoială că e nevasta ta. Cum ai putut zice: „E sora mea”? Isaac i-a răspuns: „Am zis aşa, ca să nu mor din pricina ei.”

So Abimelech called Isaac and said, “Behold, she is your wife. How then could you say, ‘She is my sister’?” Isaac said to him, “Because I thought, ‘Lest I die because of her.’”

Abímelek erre ezt mondta: Miért művelted ezt velünk? Kevésen múlt, hogy valaki a nép közül nem tette magáévá a feleségedet, és ezzel bűnt hoztál volna ránk.

És monda Abimélek: Miért mívelted ezt mi velünk? Kevésbe múlt, hogy feleségeddel nem hált valaki a nép közűl, és bűnt hoztál volna mi reánk.

And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon us.

Şi Abimelec a zis: „Ce ne-ai făcut? Ce uşor s-ar fi putut ca vreunul din norod să se culce cu nevasta ta şi ne-ai fi făcut vinovaţi.”

Abimelech said, “What is this you have done to us? One of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us.”

Ezt parancsolta azért Abímelek mind az egész népnek: Aki ezt az embert vagy feleségét illeti, bizonnyal meg kell halnia!

Parancsola azért Abimélek mind az egész népnek, ezt mondván: A ki ezt az embert vagy ennek feleségét illeténdi, bizonynyal meg kell halnia.

And Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.

Atunci Abimelec a dat următoarea poruncă întregului norod: „Cine se va atinge de omul acesta sau de nevasta lui va fi omorât.”

So Abimelech warned all the people, saying, “Whoever touches this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.”

És vetett Izsák azon a földön, és termett neki százannyija abban az esztendőben, mert megáldotta őt az ÚR.

És vete Izsák azon a földön, és lett néki abban az esztendőben száz annyia, mert megáldá őt az Úr.

Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

Isaac a făcut semănături în ţara aceea şi a strâns rod însutit în anul acela; căci Domnul l-a binecuvântat.

And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The LORD blessed him,

És gyarapodott ez az ember, és egyre gazdagodott, míg végül igen tehetőssé lett.

És gyarapodék az a férfiú, és elébb-elébb megy vala a gyarapodásban, mígnem igen nagygyá lőn.

And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

Astfel omul acesta s-a îmbogăţit şi a mers îmbogăţindu-se din ce în ce mai mult, până ce a ajuns foarte bogat.

and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy.

Volt neki számos apró és nagyobb jószága és sok cselédje, és ezért irigykedtek rá a filiszteusok.

És vala néki apró és öreg barma és sok cselédje, s irigykedének ezért reá a Filiszteusok.

For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Avea cirezi de vite şi turme de oi, şi un mare număr de robi; de aceea filistenii îl pizmuiau.

He had possessions of flocks and herds and many servants, so that the Philistines envied him.

És mindazokat a kutakat, melyeket atyja szolgái Ábrahámnak, az ő atyjának idejében ástak, a filiszteusok teleszórták földdel, és eltömték.

És mindazokat a kútakat, melyeket az ő atyjának szolgái Ábrahámnak az ő atyjának idejében ástak vala, behányák a Filiszteusok, és betölték azokat földdel.

For all the wells which his father's servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.

Toate fântânile pe care le săpaseră robii tatălui său, pe vremea tatălui său, Avraam, filistenii le-au astupat şi le-au umplut cu ţărână.

(Now the Philistines had stopped and filled with earth all the wells that his father’s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father.)

Majd ezt mondta Abímelek Izsáknak: Menj el közülünk, mert sokkal hatalmasabbá lettél nálunk.

És monda Abimélek Izsáknak: Menj el közűlünk, mert sokkal hatalmasabbá lettél nálunknál.

And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.

Şi Abimelec a zis lui Isaac: „Pleacă de la noi, căci ai ajuns mult mai puternic decât noi.”

And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.”

Elment azért onnan Izsák, Gerár völgyében vonta fel sátrait, és ott lakott.

Elméne azért onnan Izsák, és Gérár völgyében voná fel sátrait, és ott lakék.

And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.

Isaac a plecat de acolo şi a tăbărât în valea Gherar, unde s-a aşezat cu locuinţa.

So Isaac departed from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar and settled there.

Majd ismét kiásta Izsák a kutakat, amelyeket atyjának, Ábrahámnak idejében ástak, és amelyeket Ábrahám holta után betömtek a filiszteusok. Azokkal a nevekkel nevezte azokat, amelyeket atyja adott nekik.

És ismét megásá Izsák a kútakat, a melyeket ástak vala az ő atyjának Ábrahámnak idejében, de a melyeket Ábrahám holta után behánytak vala a Filiszteusok, és azokkal a nevekkel nevezé azokat, a mely neveket adott vala azoknak az ő atyja.

And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.

Isaac a săpat din nou fântânile de apă pe care le săpaseră robii tatălui său, Avraam, şi pe care le astupaseră filistenii după moartea lui Avraam; şi le-a pus iarăşi aceleaşi nume pe care le pusese tatăl său.

And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father, which the Philistines had stopped after the death of Abraham. And he gave them the names that his father had given them.

Izsák szolgái pedig ástak egyszer a völgyben, és ott élő víz forrására akadtak.

Izsák szolgái pedig ásnak vala a völgyben, és élő víznek forrására akadának ott.

And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.

Robii lui Isaac au mai săpat în vale şi au dat acolo peste o fântână cu apă de izvor.

But when Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found there a well of spring water,

A gerári pásztorok pedig vitatkoztak Izsák pásztoraival: Mienk a víz! Ezért nevezte azt a kutat Észeknek, mivelhogy civakodtak érte.

Gérár pásztorai pedig versengének Izsák pásztoraival, mondván: Miénk a víz. Ezért nevezé a kútnak nevét Észeknek, mivelhogy czivakodtak vala ő vele.

And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.

Păstorii din Gherar s-au certat însă cu păstorii lui Isaac, zicând: „Apa este a noastră.” Şi a pus fântânii numele Esec, pentru că se certaseră cu el.

the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they contended with him.

Más kutat is ástak, és azon is vitatkoztak, azért azt Szitnának nevezte el.

Más kútat is ásának s azon is versengének, azért annak nevét Szitnának nevezé.

And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.

Apoi au săpat o altă fântână, pentru care iar au făcut gâlceavă, de aceea a numit-o Sitna.

Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that also, so he called its name Sitnah.

Majd továbbvonult onnan, és egy újabb kutat ásott, amely miatt nem vesztek össze. Ezért azt Rehóbótnak nevezte, és azt mondta: Immár tágas helyet szerzett nekünk az ÚR, és szaporodhatunk e földön.

És tovább vonula onnan és ása más kútat, a mely miatt nem versengének; azért nevezé nevét Rehobóthnak, és monda: Immár tágas helyet szerzett az Úr minékünk, és szaporodhatunk a földön.

And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Pe urmă s-a mutat de acolo şi a săpat o altă fântână, pentru care nu s-au mai certat; şi a numit-o Rehobot; „căci”, a zis el, „Domnul ne-a făcut loc larg, ca să ne putem întinde în ţară.”

And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, saying, “For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

Onnan pedig fölment Beérsebába.

Felméne pedig onnan Beérsebába.

And he went up from thence to Beersheba.

De acolo s-a suit la Beer-Şeba.

From there he went up to Beersheba.

Azon az éjszakán megjelent neki az ÚR, és ezt mondta: Én vagyok Ábrahámnak, atyádnak Istene. Ne félj, mert veled vagyok, és megáldalak, és megsokasítom utódaidat Ábrahámért, az én szolgámért.

És megjelenék néki az Úr azon éjszaka, és monda: Én vagyok Ábrahámnak a te atyádnak Istene: Ne félj, mert te veled vagyok, és megáldalak téged, és megsokasítom a te magodat Ábrahámért, az én szolgámért.

And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.

Domnul i S-a arătat chiar în noaptea aceea şi i-a zis: „Eu sunt Dumnezeul tatălui tău, Avraam; nu te teme, căci Eu sunt cu tine; te voi binecuvânta şi îţi voi înmulţi sămânţa, din pricina robului Meu, Avraam.”

And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

Oltárt épített azért ott, segítségül hívta az ÚR nevét, és fölvonta ott a sátrát. Izsák szolgái pedig kutat ástak ott.

Oltárt építe azért ott, és segítségűl hívá az Úrnak nevét, s felvoná ott az ő sátorát; Izsák szolgái pedig kútat ásának ottan.

And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well.

Isaac a zidit acolo un altar, a chemat Numele Domnului şi şi-a întins cortul acolo. Robii lui Isaac au săpat acolo o fântână.

So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the LORD and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac’s servants dug a well.

Abímelek pedig elment hozzá Gerárból barátjával, Ahuzzattal és Pikóllal, a hadvezérével.

Abimélek pedig elméne ő hozzá Gérárból és Akhuzzáth az ő barátja, meg Pikhól az ő hadvezére.

Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath one of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army.

Abimelec a venit din Gherar la el, cu prietenul său, Ahuzat, şi cu Picol, căpetenia oştirii lui.

When Abimelech went to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath his adviser and Phicol the commander of his army,

Izsák ezt mondta nekik: Miért jöttetek hozzám, hiszen gyűlöltök engem, és elűztetek magatok közül?

És monda nékik Izsák: Miért jöttetek én hozzám, holott gyűlöltök engem s elűztetek magatok közűl?

And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me, seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you?

Isaac le-a zis: „Pentru ce veniţi la mine, voi care mă urâţi şi m-aţi izgonit de la voi?”

Isaac said to them, “Why have you come to me, seeing that you hate me and have sent me away from you?”

Ők pedig azt felelték: Látván láttuk, hogy az ÚR van veled, és mondtuk: legyen esküvés közöttünk, köztünk és teközötted, kössünk veled szövetséget,

Ők pedig mondák: Látván láttuk, hogy az Úr van te veled, és mondánk: legyen esküvés mi közöttünk, köztünk és te közötted; és kössünk frigyet teveled,

And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;

Ei au răspuns: „Vedem lămurit că Domnul este cu tine. De aceea zicem: „Să fie un jurământ între noi, între noi şi tine, şi să facem un legământ cu tine!

They said, “We see plainly that the LORD has been with you. So we said, let there be a sworn pact between us, between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you,

hogy nem illetsz minket semmi gonosszal, amint mi sem bántottunk téged, és amint csak jót cselekedtünk veled, és békességgel bocsátottunk el magunktól. Te már az ÚR áldott embere vagy.

Hogy minket gonoszszal nem illetsz, valamint mi sem bántottunk téged, és a mint csak jót cselekedtünk veled, és békességgel bocsátottunk el magunktól. Te már az Úr áldott embere vagy.

That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou art now the blessed of the LORD.

Anume, jură că nu ne vei face niciun rău, după cum nici noi nu ne-am atins de tine, ci ţi-am făcut numai bine şi te-am lăsat să pleci în pace. Tu acum eşti binecuvântat de Domnul.”

that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the LORD.”

Akkor megvendégelte őket, és ettek és ittak.

Akkor vendégséget szerze nékik és evének és ivának.

And he made them a feast, and they did eat and drink.

Isaac le-a dat un ospăţ şi au mâncat şi au băut.

So he made them a feast, and they ate and drank.

Reggel, mikor fölkeltek, megesküdtek egymásnak, majd elbocsátotta őket Izsák, és elmentek tőle békességgel.

Reggel pedig felkelvén, egymásnak megesküvének, és elbocsátá őket Izsák, és elmenének ő tőle békességgel.

And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.

S-au sculat dis-de-dimineaţă şi s-au legat unul cu altul printr-un jurământ. Isaac i-a lăsat apoi să plece, şi ei l-au părăsit în pace.

In the morning they rose early and exchanged oaths. And Isaac sent them on their way, and they departed from him in peace.

Ugyanaznap eljöttek Izsák szolgái, és hírt hoztak neki a kút felől, melyet ástak, ezt mondván: Vizet találtunk!

Ugyanaz nap eljövének az Izsák szolgái, és hírt hozának néki a kút felől, melyet ástak vala; és mondának néki: Találtunk vizet.

And it came to pass the same day, that Isaac's servants came, and told him concerning the well which they had digged, and said unto him, We have found water.

În aceeaşi zi, nişte robi ai lui Isaac au venit să-i vorbească de fântâna pe care o săpau şi i-au zis: „Am dat de apă!”

That same day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well that they had dug and said to him, “We have found water.”

És elnevezte azt Sibának, ezért Beérseba annak a városnak a neve mind e mai napig.

S elnevezé azt Sibáhnak: Azokáért annak a városnak neve Beérseba mind e mai napig.

And he called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city is Beersheba unto this day.

Şi el a numit-o Şiba. De aceea s-a pus cetăţii numele Beer-Şeba până în ziua de azi.

He called it Shibah; therefore the name of the city is Beersheba to this day.

Mikor Ézsau negyvenesztendős volt, feleségül vette Juditot, a hettita Beéri leányát és Boszmatot, a hettita Élón leányát.

És mikor Ézsaú negyven esztendős vala, feleségűl vevé Jehudithot, a Khitteus Beéri leányát, és Boszmátot a Khitteus Elon leányát.

And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite:

La vârsta de patruzeci de ani, Esau a luat de neveste pe Iudita, fata hetitului Beeri, şi pe Basmat, fata hetitului Elon.

When Esau was forty years old, he took Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite to be his wife, and Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite,

És ezek megkeserítették Izsák és Rebeka lelkét.

És ők valának Izsáknak és Rebekának lelke keserűsége.

Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah.

Ele au fost o pricină de mare amărăciune pentru Isaac şi Rebeca.

and they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah.
