Ezek után történt, hogy Isten próbára tette Ábrahámot, és ezt mondta neki: Ábrahám! S ő így felelt: Ímhol vagyok.

És lőn ezeknek utána, az Isten megkisérté Ábrahámot, és monda néki: Ábrahám! S az felele: Ímhol vagyok.

And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

După aceste lucruri, Dumnezeu a pus la încercare pe Avraam şi i-a zis: „Avraame!” „Iată-mă!”, a răspuns el.

After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”

Isten ezt mondta neki: Vedd a fiadat, a te egyetlenegyedet, akit szeretsz, Izsákot, és menj el Mórijjá földjére, és áldozd fel ott égőáldozatul az egyik hegyen, amelyet majd megmondok neked.

És monda: Vedd a te fiadat, ama te egyetlenegyedet, a kit szeretsz, Izsákot, és menj el Mórijának földére, és áldozd meg ott égő áldozatul a hegyek közűl egyen, a melyet mondándok néked.

And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Dumnezeu i-a zis: „Ia pe fiul tău, pe singurul tău fiu, pe care-l iubeşti, pe Isaac; du-te în ţara Moria şi adu-l ardere de tot acolo, pe un munte pe care ţi-l voi spune.”

He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

Fölkelt tehát Ábrahám jókor reggel, és megnyergelte szamarát. Maga mellé vette két szolgáját és fiát, Izsákot, és fát hasogatott az égőáldozathoz. Akkor fölkerekedett, és elindult a helyre, amelyet Isten mondott neki.

Felkele azért Ábrahám jó reggel, és megnyergelé az ő szamarát, és maga mellé vevé két szolgáját, és az ő fiát Izsákot, és fát hasogatott az égő áldozathoz. Akkor felkele és elindula a helyre, melyet néki az Isten mondott vala.

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

Avraam s-a sculat dis-de-dimineaţă, a pus şaua pe măgar şi a luat cu el două slugi şi pe fiul său, Isaac. A tăiat lemne pentru arderea de tot şi a pornit spre locul pe care i-l spusese Dumnezeu.

So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.

Harmadnapon fölemelte szemét Ábrahám, és meglátta a helyet messziről.

Harmadnapon felemelé az ő szemeit Ábrahám, és látá a helyet messziről.

Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.

A treia zi, Avraam a ridicat ochii şi a văzut locul de departe.

On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar.

Ekkor azt mondta szolgáinak: Maradjatok itt a szamárral, én pedig a fiammal elmegyek amoda, és imádkozunk, azután visszatérünk hozzátok.

És monda Ábrahám az ő szolgáinak: Maradjatok itt a szamárral, én pedig és ez a gyermek elmegyünk amoda és imádkozunk, azután visszatérünk hozzátok.

And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

Şi Avraam a zis slugilor sale: „Rămâneţi aici cu măgarul; eu şi băiatul ne vom duce până acolo să ne închinăm, şi apoi ne vom întoarce la voi.”

Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.”

Vette tehát Ábrahám az égőáldozathoz való fákat, és föltette a fiára, Izsákra, ő maga pedig kezébe vette a tüzet és a kést, és így mentek ketten együtt.

Vevé azért Ábrahám az égő áldozathoz való fákat, és feltevé az ő fiára Izsákra, ő maga pedig kezébe vevé a tüzet, és a kést, és mennek vala ketten együtt.

And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

Avraam a luat lemnele pentru arderea de tot, le-a pus în spinarea fiului său, Isaac, şi a luat în mână focul şi cuţitul. Şi au mers astfel amândoi împreună.

And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So they went both of them together.

Majd megszólította Izsák az atyját, Ábrahámot: Atyám! Az pedig mondta: Íme, itt vagyok, fiam. Izsák pedig megkérdezte: Itt van a tűz és a fa, de hol van az égőáldozatra való bárány?

És szóla Izsák Ábrahámhoz az ő atyjához, és monda: Atyám! Az pedig monda: Ímhol vagyok, fiam. És monda [Izsák:] Ímhol van a tűz és a fa; de hol van az égő áldozatra való bárány?

And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Atunci Isaac, vorbind cu tatăl său, Avraam, a zis: „Tată!” „Ce este, fiule?”, i-a răspuns el. Isaac a zis din nou: „Iată focul şi lemnele; dar unde este mielul pentru arderea de tot?”

And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

Ábrahám azt felelte: Isten majd gondoskodik az égőáldozatra való bárányról, fiam. És mentek ketten együtt.

És monda Ábrahám: Az Isten majd gondoskodik az égő áldozatra való bárányról, fiam; és mennek vala ketten együtt.

And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

„Fiule”, a răspuns Avraam, „Dumnezeu însuşi va purta grijă de mielul pentru arderea de tot.” Şi au mers amândoi împreună înainte.

Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together.

Amikor eljutottak arra a helyre, amelyet Isten mondott neki, Ábrahám megépítette ott az oltárt, rárakta a fát, megkötözte Izsákot, a fiát, és föltette az oltárra, a farakás tetejére.

Hogy pedig eljutának arra a helyre, melyet Isten néki mondott vala, megépíté ott Ábrahám az oltárt, és reá raká a fát, és megkötözé Izsákot az ő fiát, és feltevé az oltárra, a fa-rakás tetejére.

And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

Când au ajuns la locul pe care i-l spusese Dumnezeu, Avraam a zidit acolo un altar şi a aşezat lemnele pe el. A legat pe fiul său, Isaac şi l-a pus pe altar, deasupra lemnelor.

When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood.

Majd kinyújtotta a kezét, és vette a kést, hogy levágja a fiát.

És kinyújtá Ábrahám az ő kezét és vevé a kést, hogy levágja az ő fiát.

And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

Apoi Avraam a întins mâna şi a luat cuţitul ca să înjunghie pe fiul său.

Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.

Akkor kiáltott neki az ÚR angyala az égből: Ábrahám! Ábrahám! Ő pedig felelt: Íme, itt vagyok.

Akkor kiálta néki az Úrnak Angyala az égből, és monda: Ábrahám! Ábrahám! Ő pedig felele: Ímhol vagyok.

And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

Atunci Îngerul Domnului l-a strigat din ceruri şi a zis: „Avraame! Avraame!” „Iată-mă!”, a răspuns el.

But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”

Az angyal pedig így szólt: Ne nyújtsd ki kezedet a gyermekre, és ne bántsd őt! Mert most már tudom, hogy istenfélő vagy, és nem kedveztél fiadnak, a te egyetlenegyednek énérettem.

És monda: Ne nyujtsd ki a te kezedet a gyermekre, és ne bántsd őt: mert most már tudom, hogy istenfélő vagy, és nem kedvezél a te fiadnak, a te egyetlenegyednek én érettem.

And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

Îngerul a zis: „Să nu pui mâna pe băiat şi să nu-i faci nimic; căci ştiu acum că te temi de Dumnezeu, întrucât n-ai cruţat pe fiul tău, pe singurul tău fiu, pentru Mine.”

He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”

Akkor fölemelte Ábrahám a szemét, és látta, hogy íme, a háta mögött egy kos akadt meg szarvánál fogva a bozótban. Odament tehát, elhozta a kost, és azt áldozta föl égőáldozatul a fia helyett.

És felemelé Ábrahám az ő szemeit, és látá hogy ímé háta megett egy kos akadt meg szarvánál fogva a szövevényben. Oda méne tehát Ábrahám, és elhozá a kost, és azt áldozá meg égő áldozatul az ő fia helyett.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

Avraam a ridicat ochii şi a văzut înapoia lui un berbec încurcat cu coarnele într-un tufiş; şi Avraam s-a dus de a luat berbecul şi l-a adus ca ardere de tot în locul fiului său.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son.

És Ábrahám azt a helyet Jahve-jirének nevezte el. Azért mondják ma is: Az ÚR hegyén a gondviselés.

És nevezé Ábrahám annak a helynek nevét Jehova-jire-nek. Azért mondják ma is: Az Úr hegyén a gondviselés.

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

Avraam a pus locului aceluia numele: „Domnul va purta de grijă”. De aceea se zice şi azi: „La muntele unde Domnul va purta de grijă”.

So Abraham called the name of that place, “The LORD will provide”; as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”

Az ÚR angyala másodszor is szólította Ábrahámot az égből,

És kiálta az Úrnak Angyala Ábrahámnak másodszor is az égből.

And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,

Îngerul Domnului a chemat a doua oară din ceruri pe Avraam

And the angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time from heaven

és azt mondta: Magamra esküszöm, azt mondja az ÚR, mivelhogy e dolgot cselekedted, és nem kedveztél a fiadnak, a te egyetlenegyednek,

És monda: Én magamra esküszöm azt mondja az Úr: mivelhogy e dolgot cselekedéd, és nem kedvezél a te fiadnak, a te egyetlenegyednek:

And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

şi a zis: „Pe Mine însumi jur, zice Domnul: pentru că ai făcut lucrul acesta şi n-ai cruţat pe fiul tău, pe singurul tău fiu,

and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,

bizony megáldalak téged, és bőségesen megsokasítom magodat, mint az ég csillagait és mint a fövenyt, mely a tenger partján van, és a te magod örökségként fogja birtokolni ellenségeinek kapuját.

Hogy megáldván megáldalak tégedet, és bőségesen megsokasítom a te magodat mint az ég csillagait, és mint a fövényt, mely a tenger partján van, és a te magod örökség szerint fogja bírni az ő ellenségeinek kapuját.

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

te voi binecuvânta foarte mult şi-ţi voi înmulţi foarte mult sămânţa, şi anume: ca stelele cerului şi ca nisipul de pe ţărmul mării; şi sămânţa ta va stăpâni cetăţile vrăjmaşilor ei.

I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies,

És utódaidban áldást nyer a föld minden nemzetsége, mivelhogy engedtél a beszédemnek.

És megáldatnak a te magodban a földnek minden nemzetségei, mivelhogy engedtél az én beszédemnek.

And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Toate neamurile pământului vor fi binecuvântate în sămânţa ta, pentru că ai ascultat de porunca Mea!”

and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

Visszatért azért Ábrahám a szolgáihoz, fölkeltek, és együtt elmentek Beérsebába, mert Ábrahám Beérsebában lakott.

Megtére azért Ábrahám az ő szolgáihoz, és felkelének és együtt elmenének Beérsebába, mert lakozék Ábrahám Beérsebában.

So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.

Avraam s-a întors la slugile sale şi s-au sculat şi au plecat împreună la Beer-Şeba, căci Avraam locuia la Beer-Şeba.

So Abraham returned to his young men, and they arose and went together to Beersheba. And Abraham lived at Beersheba.

Ezek után hírt hoztak Ábrahámnak: Ímé, Milká is fiúkat szült Náhórnak, a testvérednek:

És lőn ezeknek utánna, hírt hozának Ábrahámnak mondván: Ímé Milkha is szűlt fiakat Nákhornak, a te atyádfiának:

And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;

După aceste lucruri, i s-a spus lui Avraam: „Iată, Milca a născut şi ea copii fratelui tău, Nahor,

Now after these things it was told to Abraham, “Behold, Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor:

Úcot, az elsőszülöttjét és Búzt, annak testvérét és Kemúélt, Arám apját.

Úzt az ő elsőszülöttét, és Búzt annak testvérét, és Kemuélt Arámnak atyját.

Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,

şi anume pe Uţ, întâiul său născut, pe Buz, fratele său, pe Chemuel, tatăl lui Aram,

Uz his firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram,

És Keszedet, Hazót, Pildást, Jidláfot és Betúélt.

És Keszedet, Házót, Pildást, Jidláfot és Bethuélt.

And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel.

pe Chesed, pe Hazo, pe Pildaş, pe Iidlaf şi pe Betuel.

Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.”

Betúél pedig Rebekát nemzette. Ezt a nyolcat szülte Milká Náhórnak, Ábrahám testvérének.

Bethuél pedig nemzé Rebekát. Ezt a nyolczat szűlé Milkha Nákhornak az Ábrahám atyjafiának.

And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.

Betuel a născut pe Rebeca. Aceştia sunt cei opt fii pe care i-a născut Milca lui Nahor, fratele lui Avraam.

(Bethuel fathered Rebekah.) These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.

Ágyasa, akinek neve Reúmá volt, Tebahot, Gahamot, Tahast és Maakát szülte neki.

Az ő ágyasa is, kinek neve Reuma [vala], szűlé néki Tebáhot, Gakhámot, Thakhást és Mahákhát.

And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah.

Ţiitoarea lui, numită Reuma, a născut şi ea, pe Tebah, Gaham, Tahaş şi Maaca.

Moreover, his concubine, whose name was Reumah, bore Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.
