Ezek után így szólt az ÚR Abrámhoz látomásban: Ne félj, Abrám! Én pajzsod vagyok neked, jutalmad felette igen bőséges.

E dolgok után lőn az Úr beszéde Ábrámhoz látomásban, mondván: Ne félj Ábrám: én paizsod vagyok tenéked, a te jutalmad felette igen bőséges.

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

După aceste întâmplări, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Avram într-o vedenie şi a zis: „Avrame, nu te teme; Eu sunt scutul tău şi răsplata ta cea foarte mare.”

After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.”

Abrám ezt mondta: Uram ISTEN, mit adnál nekem, hiszen magzatok nélkül járok, és az, akire az én házam száll, a damaszkuszi Eliézer?

És monda Ábrám: Uram Isten, mit adnál énnékem, holott én magzatok nélkűl járok, és az, a kire az én házam száll, a Damaskusbeli Eliézer?

And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

Avram a răspuns: „Doamne Dumnezeule, ce-mi vei da? Căci mor fără copii; şi moştenitorul casei mele este Eliezer din Damasc.”

But Abram said, “O Lord GOD, what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”

Majd így folytatta Abrám: Íme, nem adtál nekem magzatot, és íme, házam szolga szülöttje lesz az örökösöm.

És monda Ábrám: Ímé énnékem nem adtál magot, és ímé az én házam szolgaszülöttje lesz az én örökösöm.

And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

Şi Avram a zis: „Iată că nu mi-ai dat sămânţă, şi slujitorul născut în casa mea va fi moştenitorul meu.”

And Abram said, “Behold, you have given me no offspring, and a member of my household will be my heir.”

Ekkor így szólt hozzá az ÚR: Nem ő lesz az örökösöd, hanem aki ágyékodból származik, az lesz az örökösöd.

És ímé szóla az Úr ő hozzá, mondván: Nem ez lesz a te örökösöd: hanem a ki a te ágyékodból származik, az lesz a te örökösöd.

And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Atunci cuvântul Domnului i-a vorbit astfel: „Nu el va fi moştenitorul tău, ci cel ce va ieşi din tine, acela va fi moştenitorul tău.”

And behold, the word of the LORD came to him: “This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir.”

Azután kivitte őt, és ezt mondta: Tekints fel az égre, és számláld meg a csillagokat, ha meg tudod számolni őket. Azt mondta neki: Így lesz a te utódod is.

És kivivé őt, és monda: Tekints fel az égre, és számláld meg a csillagokat, ha azokat megszámlálhatod; - és monda nékie: Így lészen a te magod.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Şi, după ce l-a dus afară, i-a zis: „Uită-te spre cer şi numără stelele, dacă poţi să le numeri.” Şi i-a zis: „Aşa va fi sămânţa ta.”

And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

Abrám hitt az ÚRnak, aki ezért igaznak fogadta el őt.

És hitt az Úrnak és tulajdoníttaték az őnéki igazságul.

And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Avram a crezut pe Domnul, şi Domnul i-a socotit lucrul acesta ca neprihănire.

And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness.

Azután így szólt hozzá: Én vagyok az ÚR, aki kihoztalak téged Úr-Kaszdimból, hogy neked adjam e földet örökségül.

És monda néki: Én vagyok az Úr, ki téged kihoztalak Úr-Kaszdimból, hogy néked adjam e földet, örökségedűl.

And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

Domnul i-a mai zis: „Eu sunt Domnul care te-am scos din Ur, din Haldeea ca să-ţi dau în stăpânire ţara aceasta.”

And he said to him, “I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

Abrám pedig ezt mondta: Uram ISTEN, miről tudhatom meg, hogy öröklöm azt?

És monda: Uram Isten, miről tudhatom meg, hogy öröklöm azt?

And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

Avram a răspuns: „Doamne Dumnezeule, prin ce voi cunoaşte că o voi stăpâni?”

But he said, “O Lord GOD, how am I to know that I shall possess it?”

Az ÚR erre azt felelte neki: Hozz nekem egy háromesztendős üszőt, egy háromesztendős kecskét és egy háromesztendős kost, egy gerlicét és egy galambot.

És felele néki: Hozz nékem egy három esztendős üszőt, egy három esztendős kecskét, és egy három esztendős kost, egy gerliczét és egy galambfiat.

And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

Şi Domnul i-a zis: „Ia o juncană de trei ani, o capră de trei ani, un berbec de trei ani, o turturea şi un pui de porumbel.”

He said to him, “Bring me a heifer three years old, a female goat three years old, a ram three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”

Elhozta azért mindezeket, és kétfelé hasította őket, és mindegyiknek a felét a másik felével szemben helyezte el, de a madarakat nem hasította kétfelé.

Elhozá azért mind ezeket, és kétfelé hasítá azokat, és mindeniknek fele [részét] a másik fele [része] átellenébe helyezteté; de a madarakat nem hasította vala kétfelé.

And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

Avram a luat toate dobitoacele acestea, le-a despicat în două şi a pus fiecare bucată una în faţa alteia; dar păsările nu le-a despicat.

And he brought him all these, cut them in half, and laid each half over against the other. But he did not cut the birds in half.

És ragadozó madarak szálltak a húsdarabokra, de Abrám elűzte őket.

És ragadozó madarak szállának e húsdarabokra, de Ábrám elűzi vala azokat.

And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

Păsările răpitoare s-au năpustit peste stârvuri; dar Avram le-a izgonit.

And when birds of prey came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

Naplementekor mély álom lepte meg Abrámot, és íme, rémület és nagy sötétség szállt őreá.

És lőn naplementekor, mély álom lepé meg Ábrámot, és ímé rémülés és nagy setétség szálla ő reá.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

La apusul soarelui, un somn adânc a căzut peste Avram; şi iată că l-a apucat o groază şi un mare întuneric.

As the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell on Abram. And behold, dreadful and great darkness fell upon him.

Ekkor az ÚR azt mondta neki: Tudván tudjad, hogy a te magod jövevény lesz olyan földön, amely nem az övé, és szolgálatra szorítják és nyomorgatják őket négyszáz esztendeig.

És monda [az] [Úr] Ábrámnak: Tudván tudjad, hogy a te magod jövevény lesz a földön, mely nem övé, és szolgálatra szorítják, és nyomorgatják őket négyszáz esztendeig.

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

Şi Domnul a zis lui Avram: „Să ştii hotărât că sămânţa ta va fi străină într-o ţară care nu va fi a ei; acolo va fi robită şi o vor apăsa greu, timp de patru sute de ani.

Then the LORD said to Abram, “Know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years.

De azt a népet, amelyet szolgálnak, szintén megítélem, és majd kijönnek onnan nagy gazdagsággal.

De azt a népet, melyet szolgálnak, szintén megítélem én, és annakutánna kijőnek nagy gazdagsággal.

And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

Dar pe neamul căruia îi va fi roabă, îl voi judeca Eu: şi pe urmă va ieşi de-acolo cu mari bogăţii.

But I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and afterward they shall come out with great possessions.

Te pedig békességgel mész el atyáidhoz, és jó vénségben temetnek el.

Te pedig elmégy a te atyáidhoz békességgel, eltemettetel jó vénségben.

And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

Tu vei merge în pace la părinţii tăi; vei fi îngropat după o bătrâneţe fericită.

As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.

Csak a negyedik nemzedék tér vissza ide; mert az emóriak gonoszsága még nem telt be.

Csak a negyedik nemzedék tér meg ide; mert az Emoreusok gonoszsága még nem tölt be.

But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

În al patrulea neam, ea se va întoarce aici; căci nelegiuirea amoriţilor nu şi-a atins încă vârful.”

And they shall come back here in the fourth generation, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

És mikor a nap lement, és sötétség lett, íme, egy füstölgő kemence és tüzes fáklya ment át a húsdarabok között.

És mikor a nap leméne és setétség lőn, ímé egy füstölgő kemencze, és tüzes fáklya, mely általmegyen vala a húsdarabok között.

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

După ce a asfinţit soarele, s-a făcut un întuneric adânc; şi iată că a ieşit un fum ca dintr-un cuptor, şi nişte flăcări au trecut printre dobitoacele despicate.

When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces.

E napon kötött az ÚR szövetséget Abrámmal, és ezt mondta: A te magodnak adom ezt a földet, Egyiptom folyójától fogva a nagy folyóig, az Eufráteszig:

E napon kötött az Úr szövetséget Ábrámmal, mondván: A te magodnak adom ezt a földet Égyiptomnak folyóvizétől fogva, a nagy folyóig, az Eufrátes folyóvízig.

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

În ziua aceea, Domnul a făcut un legământ cu Avram şi i-a zis: „Seminţei tale dau ţara aceasta, de la râul Egiptului până la râul cel mare, râul Eufrat,

On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,

a kénieket, kenizzieket és kadmóniakat,

A Keneusokat, Kenizeusokat, és a Kadmoneusokat.

The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,

şi anume: ţara cheniţilor, a cheniziţilor, a cadmoniţilor,

the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,

a hettitákat, perizzieket és a refáiakat,

A Hittheusokat, Perizeusokat, és a Refeusokat.

And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,

a hetiţilor, a fereziţilor, a refaimiţilor,

the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,

az emóriakat, kánaániakat, girgásiakat és jebúsziakat.

Az Emoreusokat, Kananeusokat, Girgazeusokat, és a Jebuzeusokat.

And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

a amoriţilor, a canaaniţilor, a ghirgasiţilor şi a iebusiţilor.”

the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”
