Jákób azután útra kelt, és elment a keleten lakók földjére.

Jákób azután lábára kelvén, elméne a napkeletre lakók földére.

Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the land of the people of the east.

Then Jacob went on his journey and came to the land of the people of the east.

Látta, hogy íme, egy kút van a mezőn, és körülötte három juhnyáj hever. Abból a kútból szokták itatni a nyájakat, de a kút száján egy nagy kő volt.

És látá, hogy ímé egy kút van a mezőben, és hogy ott három falka juh hever vala. Mert abból a kútból itatják vala a nyájakat; de a kútnak száján nagy kő vala:

And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, lo, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone was upon the well's mouth.

S-a uitat înainte şi iată că pe câmp era o fântână; şi lângă ea erau trei turme de oi, care se odihneau; căci la fântâna aceasta obişnuiau ciobanii să-şi adape turmele. Şi piatra de pe gura fântânii era mare.

As he looked, he saw a well in the field, and behold, three flocks of sheep lying beside it, for out of that well the flocks were watered. The stone on the well’s mouth was large,

Mikor pedig ott minden nyáj összeverődik, elgördítik a követ a kút szájáról a pásztorok, és megitatják a juhokat, majd ismét a helyére teszik a követ, a kút szájára.

Mikor pedig ott valamennyi nyáj összeverődik, elgördítik a követ a kút szájáról és megitatják a juhokat s ismét helyére teszik a követ, a kút szájára.

And thither were all the flocks gathered: and they rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well's mouth in his place.

Toate turmele se strângeau acolo; ciobanii prăvăleau piatra de pe gura fântânii, adăpau turmele şi apoi puneau piatra iarăşi la loc pe gura fântânii.

and when all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone from the mouth of the well and water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place over the mouth of the well.

Jákób megkérdezte őket: Honnan valók vagytok, testvéreim? Ők azt felelték: Háránból.

És monda nékik Jákób: Honnan valók vagytok atyámfiai? És mondának: Háránból valók vagyunk.

And Jacob said unto them, My brethren, whence be ye? And they said, Of Haran are we.

Iacov a zis păstorilor: „Fraţilor, de unde sunteţi?” „Din Haran”, au răspuns ei.

Jacob said to them, “My brothers, where do you come from?” They said, “We are from Haran.”

Erre azt kérdezte tőlük: Ismeritek-e Lábánt, Náhór fiát? Ők így feleltek: Ismerjük.

És monda nékik: Ismeritek-é Lábánt, a Nákhor fiát? s azok felelének: Ismerjük.

And he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him.

El le-a zis: „Cunoaşteţi pe Laban, fiul lui Nahor?” „Îl cunoaştem”, i-au răspuns ei.

He said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” They said, “We know him.”

Azután megkérdezte: Egészségben van-e? Azok ráfeleltek: Egészségben, és leánya, Ráhel, íme, éppen itt jön a juhokkal.

Azután monda nékik: Egészségben van-é? s azok mondának: Egészségben van, és az ő leánya Rákhel ímhol jő a juhokkal.

And he said unto them, Is he well? And they said, He is well: and, behold, Rachel his daughter cometh with the sheep.

El le-a zis: „Este sănătos?” „Sănătos”, au răspuns ei. Şi tocmai atunci venea Rahela, fata lui, cu oile.

He said to them, “Is it well with him?” They said, “It is well; and see, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep!”

Erre így szólt Jákób: Íme, még nagyon fenn van a nap, nincs ideje, hogy betereljék a jószágot, itassátok meg a juhokat, és menjetek, legeltessetek!

És monda [Jákób:] Ímé még nagy fenn van a nap, nincs ideje hogy betereljék a marhát: itassátok meg a juhokat, és menjetek, legeltessetek.

And he said, Lo, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together: water ye the sheep, and go and feed them.

El a zis: „Iată, soarele este încă sus şi-i prea devreme ca să strângeţi vitele: adăpaţi oile, apoi duceţi-vă şi paşteţi-le iarăşi.”

He said, “Behold, it is still high day; it is not time for the livestock to be gathered together. Water the sheep and go, pasture them.”

Azok pedig így feleltek: Nem tehetjük, míg minden nyáj össze nem verődik, és el nem gördítik a követ a kút szájáról, hogy megitathassunk.

Azok pedig felelének: Nem tehetjük míg valamennyi nyáj össze nem verődik, és el nem gördítik a követ a kút szájáról, hogy megitathassuk a juhokat.

And they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together, and till they roll the stone from the well's mouth; then we water the sheep.

Ei au răspuns: „Nu putem, până nu se vor strânge toate turmele; atunci se prăvăleşte piatra de pe gura fântânii şi vom adăpa oile.”

But they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together and the stone is rolled from the mouth of the well; then we water the sheep.”

Még beszélgetett velük, amikor megérkezett Ráhel az atyja juhaival, melyeket ő legeltetett.

Még beszélget vala velők, mikor megérkezék Rákhel az ő atyja juhaival, melyeket legeltet vala.

And while he yet spake with them, Rachel came with her father's sheep; for she kept them.

Pe când le vorbea el încă, veni Rahela cu oile tatălui său; căci ea le păzea.

While he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherdess.

Amint meglátta Jákób Ráhelt, anyja bátyjának, Lábánnak leányát és Lábánnak, anyja bátyjának juhait, odalépett, és elgördítette a követ a kút szájáról, és megitatta anyja bátyjának, Lábánnak juhait.

S lőn, a mint meglátá Jákób Rákhelt, Lábánnak az ő anyja bátyjának leányát, és Lábánnak az ő anyja bátyjának juhait, odalépett Jákób és elgördíté a követ a kút szájáról, és megitatá Lábánnak az ő anyja bátyjának juhait.

And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.

Când a văzut Iacov pe Rahela, fata lui Laban, fratele mamei sale, şi turma lui Laban, fratele mamei sale, s-a apropiat, a prăvălit piatra de pe gura fântânii şi a adăpat turma lui Laban, fratele mamei sale.

Now as soon as Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother’s brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother, Jacob came near and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth and watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother.

Majd megcsókolta Ráhelt, és nagy fennszóval sírt.

És megcsókolá Jákób Rákhelt, és nagy felszóval síra.

And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept.

Apoi Iacov a sărutat pe Rahela şi a început să plângă tare.

Then Jacob kissed Rachel and wept aloud.

Majd elbeszélte Jákób Ráhelnak, hogy ő a leány atyjának rokona, és Rebekának fia. A leány pedig elfutott, és elmondta az atyjának.

S elbeszélé Jákób Rákhelnek, hogy ő az ő atyjának rokona és hogy Rebekának fia. Ez pedig elfuta, és megmondá az ő atyjának.

And Jacob told Rachel that he was her father's brother, and that he was Rebekah's son: and she ran and told her father.

Iacov a spus Rahelei că este rudă cu tatăl ei, că este fiul Rebecăi. Şi ea a dat fuga de a spus tatălui său.

And Jacob told Rachel that he was her father’s kinsman, and that he was Rebekah’s son, and she ran and told her father.

Mikor Lábán Jákóbnak, a húga fiának hírét vette, eléfutott, megölelte és megcsókolta, bevitte a házába, és Jákób mindent elbeszélt Lábánnak.

És lőn mikor Lábán Jákóbnak, az ő húga fiának hírét hallá, eleibe futa, megölelé és megcsókolá őt, és bevivé az ő házába, és az mindeneket elbeszéle Lábánnak.

And it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister's son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. And he told Laban all these things.

Cum a auzit Laban de Iacov, fiul surorii sale, i-a alergat înainte, l-a îmbrăţişat, l-a sărutat şi l-a adus în casă. Iacov a istorisit lui Laban toate cele întâmplate.

As soon as Laban heard the news about Jacob, his sister’s son, he ran to meet him and embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his house. Jacob told Laban all these things,

Azt mondta neki Lábán: Bizony, én csontom és húsom vagy te! És nála lakott egy hónapig.

És monda néki Lábán: Bizony én csontom és testem vagy te! És nála lakék egy hónapig,

And Laban said to him, Surely thou art my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month.

Şi Laban i-a zis: „Cu adevărat, tu eşti os din oasele mele şi carne din carnea mea!” Iacov a stat la Laban o lună.

and Laban said to him, “Surely you are my bone and my flesh!” And he stayed with him a month.

Azután azt mondta Lábán Jákóbnak: Hát ingyen szolgálj-e engem, mert rokonom vagy? Mondd meg nekem, mi legyen a béred!

És monda Lábán Jákóbnak: Avagy ingyen szolgálj-é engem azért, hogy atyámfia vagy? Mondd meg nékem, mi legyen a béred?

And Laban said unto Jacob, Because thou art my brother, shouldest thou therefore serve me for nought? tell me, what shall thy wages be?

Apoi Laban a zis lui Iacov: „Fiindcă eşti rudă cu mine, să-mi slujeşti oare degeaba? Spune-mi ce simbrie vrei?”

Then Laban said to Jacob, “Because you are my kinsman, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what shall your wages be?”

Lábánnak pedig volt két leánya: a nagyobbik neve Lea, a kisebbik neve Ráhel.

Vala pedig Lábánnak két leánya: a nagyobbiknak neve Lea, a kisebbiknek neve Rákhel.

And Laban had two daughters: the name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.

Laban însă avea două fete: cea mai mare se numea Lea, şi cea mai mică Rahela.

Now Laban had two daughters. The name of the older was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.

Leának pedig gyenge szeme volt, de Ráhel szép termetű és szép tekintetű volt.

Leának pedig gyenge szemei valának, de Rákhel szép termetű és szép tekintetű vala.

Leah was tender eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured.

Lea avea ochii slabi; dar Rahela era frumoasă la statură şi mândră la faţă.

Leah’s eyes were weak, but Rachel was beautiful in form and appearance.

Megszerette azért Jákób Ráhelt, és ezt mondta: Szolgállak téged hét esztendeig kisebbik leányodért, Ráhelért.

Megszereti vala azért Jákób Rákhelt, és monda: Szolgállak téged hét esztendeig Rákhelért, a te kisebbik leányodért.

And Jacob loved Rachel; and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter.

Iacov iubea pe Rahela şi a zis: „Îţi voi sluji şapte ani pentru Rahela, fata ta cea mai mică.”

Jacob loved Rachel. And he said, “I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.”

Erre azt mondta Lábán: Jobb neked adnom őt, mintha másnak adnám, maradj hát nálam!

És monda Lábán: Jobb néked adnom őt, hogysem másnak adjam őt, maradj én nálam.

And Laban said, It is better that I give her to thee, than that I should give her to another man: abide with me.

Şi Laban a răspuns: „Mai bine să ţi-o dau ţie decât s-o dau altuia. Rămâi la mine!”

Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to any other man; stay with me.”

Jákób tehát hét esztendeig szolgált Ráhelért, és az csak néhány napnak tűnt neki, annyira szerette őt.

Szolgála tehát Jákób Rákhelért hét esztendeig, s csak néhány napnak tetszék az neki, annyira szereti vala őt.

And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.

Astfel Iacov a slujit şapte ani pentru Rahela; şi anii aceştia i s-au părut ca vreo câteva zile, pentru că o iubea.

So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him but a few days because of the love he had for her.

És így szólt Jákób Lábánnak: Add hozzám a feleségemet, mert az időm letelt, hadd menjek be hozzá.

És monda Jákób Lábánnak: Add meg nékem az én feleségemet: mert az én időm kitelt, hadd menjek be hozzá.

And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.

În urmă Iacov a zis lui Laban: „Dă-mi nevasta, căci mi s-a împlinit sorocul, ca să intru la ea.”

Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife that I may go in to her, for my time is completed.”

Erre összegyűjtötte Lábán annak a helynek minden népét, és lakodalmat szerzett.

És begyűjté Lábán annak a helynek minden népét, és szerze lakodalmat.

And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast.

Laban a adunat pe toţi oamenii locului şi a făcut un ospăţ.

So Laban gathered together all the people of the place and made a feast.

Este pedig vette a leányát, Leát, bevitte Jákóbhoz, és ő bement hozzá.

Estve pedig vevé az ő leányát Leát, és bevivé hozzá, a ki beméne ő hozzá.

And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her.

Seara, a luat pe fiica sa Lea şi a adus-o la Iacov, care s-a culcat cu ea.

But in the evening he took his daughter Leah and brought her to Jacob, and he went in to her.

Lábán a szolgálóleányát, Zilpát, szolgálóul adta leányának, Leának.

És Lábán az ő szolgálóját Zilpát, szolgálóul adá az ő leányának Leának.

And Laban gave unto his daughter Leah Zilpah his maid for an handmaid.

Şi Laban a dat ca roabă fetei sale Lea pe roaba sa Zilpa.

(Laban gave his female servant Zilpah to his daughter Leah to be her servant.)

És reggelre kelve látja Jákób: Íme, Lea volt az! Ezt mondta azért Lábánnak: Mit tettél velem? Hát nem Ráhelért szolgáltalak téged? Miért csaptál be?

És reggelre kelve: Ímé ez Lea! Monda azért Lábánnak: Mit cselekedtél én velem? Avagy nem Rákhelért szolgáltalak-é én tégedet? Miért csaltál meg engem?

And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?

A doua zi dimineaţa, iată că era Lea. Atunci Iacov a zis lui Laban: „Ce mi-ai făcut? Nu ţi-am slujit oare pentru Rahela? Pentru ce m-ai înşelat?”

And in the morning, behold, it was Leah! And Jacob said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Did I not serve with you for Rachel? Why then have you deceived me?”

Lábán pedig azt felelte: Nem szokás nálunk, hogy a kisebbik leányt adják oda a nagyobbik előtt.

Lábán pedig monda: Nem szokás nálunk, hogy a kisebbiket oda adják a nagyobbik előtt.

And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn.

Laban a răspuns: „În locul acesta nu-i obicei să se dea cea mai tânără înaintea celei mai mari.

Laban said, “It is not so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn.

Töltsd el ennek a hetét, azután őt is neked adjuk, ha szolgálsz nálam még hét esztendeig.

Töltsd ki ennek hetét, azután amazt is néked adjuk a szolgálatért, melylyel majd szolgálsz nálam még más hét esztendeig.

Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.

Isprăveşte săptămâna cu aceasta şi-ţi vom da şi pe cealaltă pentru slujba pe care o vei mai face la mine alţi şapte ani.”

Complete the week of this one, and we will give you the other also in return for serving me another seven years.”

Jákób tehát akképpen cselekedett, eltöltötte azt a hetet, Lábán pedig neki adta leányát, Ráhelt feleségül.

Jákób tehát aképen cselekedék, kitölté azt a hetet; ez pedig néki adá Rákhelt, az ő leányát feleségűl.

And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.

Iacov a făcut aşa şi a isprăvit săptămâna cu Lea; apoi Laban i-a dat de nevastă pe fiica sa Rahela.

Jacob did so, and completed her week. Then Laban gave him his daughter Rachel to be his wife.

És Lábán leányának, Ráhelnek adta a maga szolgálólányát, Bilhát, hogy szolgálja őt.

És adá Lábán az ő leányának Rákhelnek, az ő szolgálóját Bilhát, hogy néki szolgálója legyen.

And Laban gave to Rachel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her maid.

Şi Laban a dat ca roabă fetei sale Rahela pe roaba sa Bilha.

(Laban gave his female servant Bilhah to his daughter Rachel to be her servant.)

És bement Jákób Ráhelhez is, és jobban szerette Ráhelt, mint Leát, és még hét esztendeig szolgált Lábánnál.

És beméne Rákhelhez is, és inkább szereté Rákhelt, hogysem Leát és szolgála ő nála még más hét esztendeig.

And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years.

Iacov a intrat şi la Rahela, pe care o iubea mai mult decât pe Lea; şi a mai slujit la Laban alţi şapte ani.

So Jacob went in to Rachel also, and he loved Rachel more than Leah, and served Laban for another seven years.

Az ÚR pedig látta Lea megvetett voltát, és megnyitotta méhét. Ráhel ellenben meddő volt.

És meglátá az Úr Lea megvetett voltát, és megnyitá annak méhét. Rákhel pedig magtalan vala.

And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.

Domnul a văzut că Lea nu era iubită; şi a făcut-o să aibă copii, pe când Rahela era stearpă.

When the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.

Fogant tehát Lea méhében, és fiút szült, és Rúbennek nevezte, mert azt mondta: Meglátta az ÚR a nyomorúságomat. Most már szeretni fog engem a férjem.

Fogada azért Lea az ő méhében és szűle fiat, és nevezé nevét Rúbennek, mert azt mondja vala: Meglátta az Úr az én nyomorúságomat; most már szeretni fog engem az én férjem.

And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me.

Lea a rămas însărcinată şi a născut un fiu, căruia i-a pus numele Ruben; „căci”, a zis ea, „Domnul a văzut mâhnirea mea, şi acum bărbatul meu are să mă iubească negreşit.”

And Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben, for she said, “Because the LORD has looked upon my affliction; for now my husband will love me.”

Azután ismét várandós lett, és fiút szült, és ezt mondta: Mivelhogy meghallotta az ÚR megvetett voltomat, azért adta nekem ezt a fiút is. És Simeonnak nevezte el.

Azután ismét teherbe esék és szűle fiat, és monda: Mivelhogy meghallotta az Úr megvetett voltomat, azért adta nékem ezt is; és nevezé nevét Simeonnak.

And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.

A rămas iarăşi însărcinată şi a născut un fiu; şi a zis: „Domnul a auzit că nu eram iubită şi mi-a dat şi pe acesta.” De aceea i-a pus numele Simeon.

She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the LORD has heard that I am hated, he has given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.

És megint várandós lett, fiút szült, és így szólt: Most már ragaszkodni fog hozzám a férjem, mert három fiút szültem neki. Azért Lévinek nevezte el.

És megint teherbe esék és szűle fiat, és monda: Most már ragaszkodni fog hozzám az én férjem, mert három fiat szűltem néki; azért nevezé nevét Lévinek.

And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.

Iar a rămas însărcinată şi a născut un fiu; şi a zis: „De data aceasta bărbatul meu se va alipi de mine, căci i-am născut trei fii.” De aceea i-a pus numele Levi.

Again she conceived and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will be attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi.

És ismét várandós lett, fiút szült, és ezt mondta: Most már hálát adok az ÚRnak. S a fiút Júdának nevezte, és többet nem szült.

És ismét teherbe esék, és fiat szűle és mondá: Most már hálákat adok az Úrnak; azért nevezé nevét Júdának, és megszűnék a szűléstől.

And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

A rămas iarăşi însărcinată şi a născut un fiu; şi a zis: „De data aceasta voi lăuda pe Domnul.” De aceea i-a pus numele Iuda. Şi a încetat să mai nască.

And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “This time I will praise the LORD.” Therefore she called his name Judah. Then she ceased bearing.
