Azután megjelent neki az ÚR Mamré tölgyesében, ahogy ő a sátor ajtajában ült, a hőség idejében.

Megjelenék pedig ő néki az Úr a Mamré tölgyesében, és ő űl vala a sátor ajtajában, a hő napon.

And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

Domnul i S-a arătat la stejarii lui Mamre, pe când Avraam şedea la uşa cortului, în timpul zădufului zilei.

And the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day.

Fölemelte szemét, és látta, hogy íme, három férfi áll előtte. Meglátva őket, eléjük sietett a sátor ajtajából, és földig hajolt.

És felemelé az ő szemeit, és látá, hogy ímé három férfiú áll ő előtte. És látván, eléjök siete a sátor ajtajából, és földig meghajtá magát.

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

Avraam a ridicat ochii şi s-a uitat: şi iată că trei bărbaţi stăteau în picioare lângă el. Când i-a văzut, a alergat înaintea lor, de la uşa cortului, şi s-a plecat până la pământ.

He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth

Ezt mondta: Jó Uram, ha kedves vagyok előtted, kérlek, ne kerüld el szolgádat.

És monda: Jó Uram, ha kedves vagyok te előtted, kérlek, ne kerüld el a te szolgádat.

And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

Apoi a zis: „Doamne, dacă am căpătat trecere în ochii Tăi, nu trece, rogu-Te, pe lângă robul Tău.

and said, “O Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.

Hadd hozzanak, kérlek, egy kevés vizet, mossátok meg a lábatokat, és dőljetek le a fa alatt.

Hadd hozzanak, kérlek, egy kevés vizet, és mossátok meg a ti lábaitokat, és dőljetek le a fa alatt.

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Îngăduie să se aducă puţină apă, ca să vi se spele picioarele; şi odihniţi-vă sub copacul acesta.

Let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree,

Én pedig hozok egy falat kenyeret, hogy fölfrissüljetek, mert azért tértetek be szolgátokhoz, azután továbbmehettek. Ők ezt mondták: Tégy úgy, ahogy mondtad.

Én pedig hozok egy falat kenyeret, hogy erősítsétek meg a ti szíveteket, azután menjetek tovább, mert azért tértetek be a ti szolgátokhoz. És mondának: Cselekedjél, a mint szólál.

And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

Am să mă duc să iau o bucată de pâine, ca să prindeţi la inimă, şi după aceea vă veţi vedea de drum; căci pentru aceasta treceţi pe lângă robul vostru.” „Fă cum ai zis”, i-au răspuns ei.

while I bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on—since you have come to your servant.” So they said, “Do as you have said.”

Besietett Ábrahám a sátorba Sárához, és így szólt: Siess, gyúrj meg három mérték finom lisztet, és csinálj pogácsát.

És besiete Ábrahám a sátorba Sárához, és monda: Siess, gyúrj meg három mérték lisztlángot, és csinálj pogácsát.

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

Avraam s-a dus repede în cort la Sara, şi a zis: „Ia repede trei măsuri de făină albă, frământă şi fă turte.”

And Abraham went quickly into the tent to Sarah and said, “Quick! Three seahs of fine flour! Knead it, and make cakes.”

A csordához is elfutott Ábrahám, és hozott egy gyenge kövér borjút, és a szolgának adta, az pedig sietett, hogy elkészítse.

A baromhoz is elfuta Ábrahám, és hoza egy gyenge kövér borjút, és adá a szolgának, az pedig siete azt elkészíteni.

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

Şi Avraam a alergat la vite, a luat un viţel tânăr şi bun şi l-a dat unei slugi să-l gătească în grabă.

And Abraham ran to the herd and took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to a young man, who prepared it quickly.

Azután fogta a vajat, tejet és az elkészített borjút, és eléjük tette. Ő pedig mellettük állt a fa alatt, amíg azok ettek.

És vőn vajat és tejet, és a borjút, melyet elkészített vala, és eléjök tevé: és ő mellettök áll vala a fa alatt, azok pedig evének.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

Apoi a luat unt şi lapte, împreună cu viţelul pe care-l gătise, şi l-a pus înaintea lor. El însuşi a stat lângă ei, sub copac, şi le-a slujit până ce au mâncat.

Then he took curds and milk and the calf that he had prepared, and set it before them. And he stood by them under the tree while they ate.

S megkérdezték tőle: Hol van Sára, a feleséged? Ő pedig ezt felelte: Itt van a sátorban.

És mondának néki: Hol van Sára a te feleséged? Ő pedig felele: Ímhol van a sátorban.

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

Atunci ei i-au zis: „Unde este nevasta ta, Sara?” „Uite-o în cort”, a răspuns el.

They said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” And he said, “She is in the tent.”

Erre így szólt egyikük: Egy év múlva ilyenkor bizonnyal visszatérek hozzád, és íme, akkor feleségednek, Sárának fia lesz. Sára pedig a háta mögött hallgatózott, a sátor ajtajában.

És monda: Esztendőre ilyenkor bizonynyal megtérek hozzád és ímé akkor a te feleségednek Sárának fia lesz. Sára pedig hallgatózik vala a sátor ajtajában, mely annak háta megett vala.

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

Unul dintre ei a zis: „La anul pe vremea aceasta, mă voi întoarce negreşit la tine; şi iată că Sara, nevasta ta, va avea un fiu.” Sara asculta la uşa cortului, care era înapoia lui.

The LORD said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent door behind him.

Ábrahám és Sára élemedett korú öregek voltak, és Sáránál már megszűnt az asszonyi természet.

Ábrahám pedig és Sára élemedett korú öregek valának; megszünt vala Sáránál az asszonyi természet.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

Avraam şi Sara erau bătrâni, înaintaţi în vârstă; şi Sarei nu-i mai venea rânduiala femeilor.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah.

Ezért Sára nevetett magában, és azt gondolta: Vénségemre lehet-e gyönyörűségem? Meg az uram is öreg!

Nevete azért Sára ő magában, mondván: Vénségemre lenne-é gyönyörűségem? meg az én uram is öreg!

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

Sara a râs în sine, zicând: „Acum, când am îmbătrânit, să mai am pofte? Domnul meu, bărbatul, de asemenea, este bătrân.”

So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?”

Az ÚR azt mondta Ábrahámnak: Miért nevetett Sára, ezt mondva: vajon csakugyan szülhetek-e, holott megvénhedtem?

És monda az Úr Ábrahámnak: Miért nevetett Sára, ezt mondván: Vajjon csakugyan szűlhetek-é, holott én megvénhedtem?

And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

Domnul a zis lui Avraam: „Pentru ce a râs Sara, zicând: „Cu adevărat, să mai pot avea copil, eu, care sunt bătrână?”

The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’

Avagy az ÚRnak lehetetlen-e valami? Annak idején, esztendőre ilyenkor visszatérek hozzád, és fia lesz Sárának.

Avagy az Úrnak lehetetlen-é valami? Annak idején, esztendőre ilyenkor visszatérek hozzád, és fia lesz Sárának.

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Este oare ceva prea greu pentru Domnul? La anul pe vremea aceasta, Mă voi întoarce la tine, şi Sara va avea un fiu.”

Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Sára pedig tagadott, és ezt mondta: Nem nevettem; mivelhogy félt. De az ÚR azt mondta: Nem úgy van, mert bizony nevettél.

Sára pedig megtagadá, mondván: Nem nevettem én; mivelhogy fél vala. De monda az [Úr:] Nem úgy van, mert bizony nevettél.

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

Sara a tăgăduit şi a zis: „N-am râs!” Căci i-a fost frică. Dar El a zis: „Ba da, ai râs!”

But Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”

Azután fölkeltek azok a férfiak, és Sodoma felé tartottak. Ábrahám is velük ment, hogy elkísérje őket.

Azután felkelvén onnan azok a férfiak, Sodoma felé tartanak vala. Ábrahám is velök méne, hogy elkisérje őket.

And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

Bărbaţii aceia s-au sculat să plece şi s-au uitat înspre Sodoma. Avraam a plecat cu ei, să-i petreacă.

Then the men set out from there, and they looked down toward Sodom. And Abraham went with them to set them on their way.

Ezt mondta az ÚR: Eltitkoljam-e Ábrahámtól, amit tenni akarok?

És monda az Úr: Eltitkoljam-é én Ábrahámtól, a mit tenni akarok?

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

Atunci Domnul a zis: „Să ascund Eu oare de Avraam ce am să fac?…

The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,

Hiszen Ábrahám nagy és hatalmas néppé lesz, és megáldatik benne a föld minden nemzetsége.

Holott Ábrahám nagy és hatalmas néppé lesz; és benne megáldatnak a földnek minden nemzetségei.

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Căci Avraam va ajunge negreşit un neam mare şi puternic, şi în el vor fi binecuvântate toate neamurile pământului.

seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Mert tudom róla, hogy megparancsolja fiainak és háza népének, hogy őrizzék meg az ÚR útját, cselekedjenek az igazság és törvény szerint, hogy beteljesítse az ÚR, amit szólt Ábrahám felől.

Mert tudom róla, hogy megparancsolja az ő fiainak és az ő házanépének ő utánna, hogy megőrizzék az Úrnak útát, igazságot és törvényt tévén, hogy beteljesítse az Úr Ábrahámon, a mit szólott felőle.

For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Căci Eu îl cunosc şi ştiu că are să poruncească fiilor lui şi casei lui după el să ţină Calea Domnului, făcând ce este drept şi bine, pentru ca astfel Domnul să împlinească faţă de Avraam ce i-a făgăduit”…

For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.”

Azután azt mondta az ÚR: Mivel Sodoma és Gomora kiáltása megsokasodott, és mivel bűnük fölöttébb súlyossá vált,

Monda azután az Úr: Mivelhogy Sodomának és Gomorának kiáltása megsokasodott, és mivelhogy az ő bűnök felettébb megnehezedett:

And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

Şi Domnul a zis: „Strigătul împotriva Sodomei şi Gomorei s-a mărit, şi păcatul lor într-adevăr este nespus de greu.

Then the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave,

lemegyek, és megnézem, hogy vajon teljesen a hozzám felhatott kiáltás szerint cselekedtek-e, vagy sem, mert tudni akarom.

Alámegyek azért és meglátom, vajjon teljességgel a hozzám felhatott kiáltás szerint cselekedtek-é vagy nem? tudni akarom.

I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

De aceea Mă voi coborî acum să văd dacă în adevăr au lucrat în totul după zvonul venit până la Mine; şi dacă nu va fi aşa, voi şti.”

I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, I will know.”

Akkor a férfiak megfordultak, és elindultak Sodomába. Ábrahám pedig még az ÚR előtt állt.

És elfordulának onnan a férfiak, és menének Sodomába: Ábrahám pedig még az Úr előtt áll vala.

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

Bărbaţii aceia s-au depărtat şi au plecat spre Sodoma. Dar Avraam stătea tot înaintea Domnului.

So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the LORD.

Közelebb lépett Ábrahám, és ezt mondta: Vajon elveszted-e az igazat is a gonosszal együtt?

És hozzá járula Ábrahám és monda: Avagy elveszted-é az igazat is a gonoszszal egybe?

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

Avraam s-a apropiat şi a zis: „Vei nimici Tu oare şi pe cel bun împreună cu cel rău?

Then Abraham drew near and said, “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

Talán van ötven igaz abban a városban. Vajon elveszted-e, és nem kedvezel a helynek az ötven ott lakó igazért?

Talán van ötven igaz abban a városban, avagy elveszted-é, és nem kedvezel-é a helynek az ötven igazért, a kik abban vannak?

Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

Poate că în mijlocul cetăţii sunt cincizeci de oameni buni: îi vei nimici oare şi pe ei şi nu vei ierta locul acela din pricina celor cincizeci de oameni buni, care sunt în mijlocul ei?

Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it?

Távol legyen tőled, hogy ilyen dolgot cselekedjél, hogy megöld az igazat a gonosszal együtt, és úgy járjon az igaz, mint a gonosz; távol legyen tőled! Avagy az egész föld bírája nem szolgáltatna-e igazságot?

Távol legyen tőled, hogy ilyen dolgot cselekedjél, hogy megöld az igazat a gonoszszal, és úgy járjon az igaz mint a gonosz: Távol legyen tőled! Avagy az egész föld bírája nem szolgáltatna-é igazságot?

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Să omori pe cel bun împreună cu cel rău, aşa ca cel bun să aibă aceeaşi soartă ca cel rău, departe de Tine aşa ceva! Departe de Tine! Cel ce judecă tot pământul nu va face oare dreptate?”

Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

Az ÚR ezt felelte: Ha találok Sodomában a városon belül ötven igazat, mind az egész helynek megkegyelmezek érettük.

És monda az Úr: Ha találok Sodomában a városon belől ötven igazat, mind az egész helynek megkegyelmezek azokért.

And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Şi Domnul a zis: „Dacă voi găsi în Sodoma cincizeci de oameni buni în mijlocul cetăţii, voi ierta tot locul acela din pricina lor.”

And the LORD said, “If I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

Ábrahám erre azt mondta: Immár merészkedtem szólni az én Uramnak, noha por és hamu vagyok.

És felele Ábrahám, és monda: Immár merészkedtem szólani az én Uramnak, noha én por és hamu vagyok.

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes:

Avraam a luat din nou cuvântul şi a zis: „Iată, am îndrăznit să vorbesc Domnului, eu care nu sunt decât praf şi cenuşă.

Abraham answered and said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes.

Ha az ötven igaznak talán öt híja lesz, elveszted-e az öt miatt az egész várost? Ő ezt mondta: Nem vesztem el, ha találok ott negyvenötöt.

Ha az ötven igaznak talán öt híja lesz, elveszted-é az öt miatt az egész várost? És monda: Nem vesztem el, ha találok ott negyvenötöt.

Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

Poate că din cincizeci de oameni buni vor lipsi cinci: pentru cinci, vei nimici Tu oare toată cetatea?” Şi Domnul a zis: „N-o voi nimici, dacă voi găsi în ea patruzeci şi cinci de oameni buni.”

Suppose five of the fifty righteous are lacking. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?” And he said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”

Ismét szólt hozzá Ábrahám, ezt kérdezvén: Hát ha negyven található ott? Ő azt mondta: Nem teszem meg a negyvenért.

És ismét szóla hozzá és monda: Hátha találtatnak ott negyvenen? És monda Ő: Nem teszem meg a negyvenért.

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.

Avraam I-a vorbit mai departe şi a zis: „Poate că se vor găsi în ea numai patruzeci de oameni buni.” Şi Domnul a zis: „N-o voi nimici pentru cei patruzeci.”

Again he spoke to him and said, “Suppose forty are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of forty I will not do it.”

Megint szólt Ábrahám: Kérlek, ne haragudjék meg az én Uram, ha szólok: hát ha harmincat lehet találni? Ő így felelt: Nem teszem meg, ha találok ott harmincat.

Mégis monda: Kérlek, ne haragudjék meg az én Uram ha szólok: Hátha találtatnak ott harminczan? És Ő felele: Nem teszem meg, ha találok ott harminczat.

And he said unto him, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

Avraam a zis: „Să nu Te mânii, Doamne, dacă voi mai vorbi. Poate că se vor găsi în ea numai treizeci de oameni buni.” Şi Domnul a zis: „N-o voi nimici, dacă voi găsi în ea treizeci de oameni buni.”

Then he said, “Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak. Suppose thirty are found there.” He answered, “I will not do it, if I find thirty there.”

És azt mondta Ábrahám: Ismét merészkedtem szólni az én Uramnak: hát ha húszat lehet ott találni? Így felelt erre az ÚR: Nem vesztem el a húszért.

És ő monda: Immár merészkedtem szólani az én Uramnak: Hátha találtatnak ott húszan? Felele: Nem vesztem el a húszért.

And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.

Avraam a zis: „Iată, am îndrăznit să vorbesc Domnului. Poate că se vor găsi în ea numai douăzeci de oameni buni.” Şi Domnul a zis: „N-o voi nimici, pentru cei douăzeci.”

He said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord. Suppose twenty are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of twenty I will not destroy it.”

És mondta végül: Ne haragudjék, kérlek, az én Uram, ha szólok még ez egyszer: hát ha tízet lehet találni? S Ő ezt felelte: Nem vesztem el a tízért.

És monda: Ne haragudjék kérlek az én Uram ha szólok még ez egyszer: Hátha találtatnak ott tízen? És Ő monda: Nem vesztem el a tízért.

And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

Avraam a zis: „Să nu Te mânii, Doamne, dacă voi mai vorbi numai de data aceasta. Poate că se vor găsi în ea numai zece oameni buni.” Şi Domnul a zis: „N-o voi nimici, pentru cei zece oameni buni.”

Then he said, “Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.”

És elment az ÚR, miután befejezte Ábrahámmal a beszélgetését, Ábrahám pedig visszatért a lakóhelyére.

És elméne az Úr, minekutánna elvégezte Ábrahámmal való beszélgetését; Ábrahám pedig megtére az ő helyére.

And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

După ce a isprăvit de vorbit lui Avraam, Domnul a plecat. Şi Avraam s-a întors la locuinţa lui.

And the LORD went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.
