Kiment pedig Dina, Leának leánya, akit Jákóbnak szült, hogy meglátogassa annak a földnek leányait.

Kiméne pedig Dína, Leának leánya, kit Jákóbnak szűlt vala, hogy meglátogassa annak a földnek leányait.

And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.

Dina, fata pe care o născuse lui Iacov, Lea, a ieşit să vadă pe fetele ţării.

Now Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to see the women of the land.

És meglátta őt Sikem, a hivvi Hamórnak, az ország fejedelmének fia, és elragadta őt, és vele hált, és erőszakot tett rajta.

És meglátá őt Sekhem, a Khivveus Khámornak, az ország fejedelmének fia, és elragadá őt, és vele hála és erőszakot tesz vala rajta.

And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.

Ea a fost zărită de Sihem, fiul hevitului Hamor, domnitorul ţării. El a pus mâna pe ea, s-a culcat cu ea şi a necinstit-o.

And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the land, saw her, he seized her and lay with her and humiliated her.

És teljes szívéből ragaszkodott Dinához, Jákób leányához, és megszerette a leányt, és szívhez szólóan beszélt vele.

És ragaszkodék az ő lelke Dínához a Jákób leányához, és megszereté a leányt és szívéhez szól vala a leánynak.

And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.

S-a lipit cu toată inima de Dina, fata lui Iacov, a iubit fata şi a căutat s-o liniştească.

And his soul was drawn to Dinah the daughter of Jacob. He loved the young woman and spoke tenderly to her.

Szólt pedig Sikem az atyjának, Hamórnak: Vedd nekem feleségül ezt a leányt!

Szóla pedig Sekhem Khámornak az ő atyjának, mondván: Vedd nékem feleségűl ezt a leányt.

And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.

După aceea Sihem a zis tatălui său, Hamor: „Ia-mi de nevastă pe fata aceasta!”

So Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying, “Get me this girl for my wife.”

És meghallotta Jákób, hogy megszeplősítette a lányát, Dinát. Fiai pedig a mezőn voltak a jószággal, azért veszteg maradt Jákób, míg azok megjöttek.

És meghallá Jákób, hogy megszeplősítette Dínát, az ő leányát, fiai pedig a mezőn valának a barommal, azért veszteg marada Jákób, míg azok megjövének.

And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.

Iacov a aflat că-i necinstise pe fiica sa, Dina; şi fiindcă fiii săi erau cu vitele la păşune, Iacov a tăcut până la întoarcerea lor.

Now Jacob heard that he had defiled his daughter Dinah. But his sons were with his livestock in the field, so Jacob held his peace until they came.

És kiment Hamór, Sikem atyja Jákóbhoz, hogy beszéljen vele.

És kiméne Khámor, Sekhem atyja Jákóbhoz, hogy szóljon vele.

And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him.

Hamor, tatăl lui Sihem, s-a dus la Iacov ca să-i vorbească.

And Hamor the father of Shechem went out to Jacob to speak with him.

Jákób fiai pedig megjöttek a mezőről, és amikor meghallották a dolgot, elkeseredtek, és nagy haragra lobbantak azért, hogy csúfságot tett Izráelben azzal, hogy Jákób leányával hált, aminek nem lett volna szabad megtörténnie.

Mikor Jákób fiai megjövének a mezőről és meghallák a [dolgot,] elkeseredének s nagyon megharaguvának azok az emberek, azért hogy ocsmányságot cselekedett Izráelben, Jákób leányával hálván, a minek nem kellett volna történni.

And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done.

Dar când s-au întors fiii lui Iacov de la păşune şi au auzit lucrul acesta, s-au supărat şi s-au mâniat foarte tare; pentru că Sihem săvârşise o mişelie în Israel culcându-se cu fata lui Iacov: aşa ceva n-ar fi trebuit să se facă niciodată.

The sons of Jacob had come in from the field as soon as they heard of it, and the men were indignant and very angry, because he had done an outrageous thing in Israel by lying with Jacob’s daughter, for such a thing must not be done.

És így szólt nekik Hamór: Fiam, Sikem teljes szívéből szereti a leányotokat, kérlek, adjátok hozzá feleségül,

És szóla nékik Khámor, mondván: Az én fiam Sekhem, lelkéből szereti a ti leányotokat, kérlek, adjátok azt néki feleségűl.

And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife.

Hamor le-a vorbit astfel: „Fiul meu, Sihem, s-a lipit cu toată inima de fata voastră; vă rog, daţi-i-o de nevastă

But Hamor spoke with them, saying, “The soul of my son Shechem longs for your daughter. Please give her to him to be his wife.

és kerüljetek velünk sógorságba: a ti leányaitokat adjátok nekünk, és a mi leányainkat vegyétek magatoknak.

És szerezzetek velünk sógorságot: a ti leányaitokat adjátok nékünk, és a mi leányainkat vegyétek magatoknak,

And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you.

şi încuscriţi-vă cu noi; voi daţi-ne fetele voastre şi luaţi pentru voi pe ale noastre.

Make marriages with us. Give your daughters to us, and take our daughters for yourselves.

Lakjatok velünk, a föld előttetek van. Lakjátok, és kereskedjetek rajta, szerezzetek birtokot benne.

És lakjatok velünk; a föld előttetek van, lakjátok, s kereskedjetek rajta és bírjátok azt.

And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein.

Locuiţi cu noi; ţara vă stă înainte, rămâneţi în ea, faceţi negoţ şi cumpăraţi pământuri în ea.”

You shall dwell with us, and the land shall be open to you. Dwell and trade in it, and get property in it.”

Sikem is mondta Dina atyjának és az ő bátyjainak: Hadd találjak kedvet előttetek, és bármit mondotok nekem, megadom!

Sekhem is monda a [Dína] atyjának és az ő bátyjainak: Hadd találjak kedvet előttetek, és valamit mondotok nékem, megadom.

And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give.

Sihem a zis tatălui şi fraţilor Dinei: „Să capăt trecere înaintea voastră şi vă voi da ce-mi veţi cere.

Shechem also said to her father and to her brothers, “Let me find favor in your eyes, and whatever you say to me I will give.

Akármilyen nagy jegyadományt és ajándékot kívántok, megadom, ahogy kéritek, csak adjátok nekem a leányt feleségül!

Akármily nagy jegyadományt és ajándékot [kivántok,] megadom a mint mondjátok nékem, [csak] adjátok nékem a leányt feleségűl.

Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.

Cereţi-mi o zestre cât de mare şi cât de multe daruri, şi voi da tot ce-mi veţi zice; numai daţi-mi fata de nevastă.”

Ask me for as great a bride-price and gift as you will, and I will give whatever you say to me. Only give me the young woman to be my wife.”

Jákób fiai pedig álnokul feleltek Sikemnek és Hamórnak, az atyjának. Azért szóltak így, mivel megszeplősítette Dinát, az ő húgukat.

A Jákób fiai pedig álnokul felelének Sekhemnek és Khámornak az ő atyjának, és szólának, mivelhogy megszeplősítette Dínát az ő húgokat,

And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:

Fiii lui Iacov au răspuns şi au vorbit cu vicleşug lui Sihem şi tatălui său, Hamor, pentru că Sihem necinstise pe sora lor, Dina.

The sons of Jacob answered Shechem and his father Hamor deceitfully, because he had defiled their sister Dinah.

Azt mondták nekik: Nem tehetjük, hogy húgunkat körülmetéletlen férfiúnak adjuk, mert ez nekünk gyalázat volna.

És mondának nékik: Nem mívelhetjük e dolgot, hogy a mi húgunkat körűlmetélkedetlen férfiúnak adjuk; mert ez nékünk gyalázat volna.

And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:

Ei i-au zis: „Este un lucru pe care nu-l putem face, să dăm pe sora noastră unui om netăiat împrejur; căci ar fi o ocară pentru noi.

They said to them, “We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one who is uncircumcised, for that would be a disgrace to us.

Csak úgy egyezünk meg veletek, ha hasonlókká lesztek hozzánk: ha minden férfi körülmetélkedik közületek.

Veletek csak úgy egyezünk, ha hasonlókká lesztek hozzánk, hogy minden férfiú körűlmetélkedjék ti köztetek.

But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;

Nu ne vom învoi la aşa ceva decât dacă vă faceţi şi voi ca noi şi dacă orice parte bărbătească dintre voi se va tăia împrejur.

Only on this condition will we agree with you—that you will become as we are by every male among you being circumcised.

Így a mi leányainkat nektek adjuk, a ti leányaitokat pedig elvesszük, veletek lakunk, és egy néppé leszünk.

Így a mi leányainkat néktek adjuk, és a ti leányaitokat magunknak vesszük, veletek lakozunk, és egy néppé leszünk;

Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people.

Atunci vă vom da pe fetele noastre şi vom lua pentru noi pe ale voastre; vom locui cu voi şi vom face împreună un singur norod.

Then we will give our daughters to you, and we will take your daughters to ourselves, and we will dwell with you and become one people.

Ha pedig nem hallgattok reánk, hogy körülmetélkedjetek, vesszük a leányunkat, és elmegyünk.

Hogyha pedig nem hallgattok reánk, hogy körűlmetélkedjetek: felveszszük a mi leányunkat és elmegyünk.

But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.

Dar dacă nu voiţi să ne ascultaţi şi să vă tăiaţi împrejur, ne vom lua fata şi vom pleca.”

But if you will not listen to us and be circumcised, then we will take our daughter, and we will be gone.”

És tetszett azoknak beszéde Hamórnak és Sikemnek, a Hamór fiának.

És tetszék azoknak beszéde Khámornak, és Sekhemnek a Khámor fiának.

And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor's son.

Cuvintele lor au plăcut lui Hamor şi lui Sihem, fiul lui Hamor.

Their words pleased Hamor and Hamor’s son Shechem.

Nem is halasztotta az ifjú a dolog véghezvitelét, mert igen szerette Jákób leányát. Neki pedig atyja háza népe között mindenkinél nagyobb becsülete volt.

Nem is halasztá az ifjú a dolog véghezvitelét, mivelhogy igen szereti vala a Jákób leányát; néki pedig atyja házanépe között mindenkinél nagyobb becsűlete vala.

And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father.

Tânărul n-a pregetat să facă lucrul acesta, căci iubea pe fata lui Iacov şi era cel mai bine văzut în casa tatălui său.

And the young man did not delay to do the thing, because he delighted in Jacob’s daughter. Now he was the most honored of all his father’s house.

Elment azért Hamór és fia, Sikem a városuk kapujába, és így szóltak városuk férfiaihoz:

Elméne azért Khámor és Sekhem az ő fia az ő városuk kapujába; és szólának az ő városuk férfiaival, mondván:

And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying,

Hamor şi fiul său, Sihem, s-au dus la poarta cetăţii şi au vorbit astfel oamenilor din cetatea lor:

So Hamor and his son Shechem came to the gate of their city and spoke to the men of their city, saying,

Ezek az emberek békességesek velünk, hadd lakjanak e földön, és kereskedjenek benne, mert íme, e föld elég tágas nekik. Leányaikat vegyük magunknak feleségül, és a mi leányainkat adjuk nekik feleségül.

Ezek az emberek békességesek velünk, hadd lakjanak e földön, és kereskedjenek benne, mert ímé e föld elég tágas nékik; az ő leányaikat vegyük magunknak feleségűl, és a mi leányainkat adjuk nékik.

These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.

„Oamenii aceştia au gânduri de pace faţă de noi; să rămână, dar, în ţară şi să facă negoţ; ţara este destul de largă pentru ei. Noi vom lua de neveste pe fetele lor şi le vom da de neveste pe fetele noastre.

“These men are at peace with us; let them dwell in the land and trade in it, for behold, the land is large enough for them. Let us take their daughters as wives, and let us give them our daughters.

De csak úgy egyeznek bele e férfiak, hogy velünk lakjanak, és egy néppé legyenek velünk, ha minden férfiú körülmetélkedik közöttünk, ahogy ők is körül vannak metélve.

De csak úgy egyeznek bele e férfiak, hogy velünk lakjanak és egy néppé legyenek velünk, ha minden férfiú körűlmetélkedik közöttünk, a miképen ők is körűl vannak metélkedve.

Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.

Dar oamenii aceştia nu vor voi să locuiască împreună cu noi, ca să alcătuim un singur popor, decât dacă orice parte bărbătească dintre noi se va tăia împrejur, după cum şi ei înşişi sunt tăiaţi împrejur.

Only on this condition will the men agree to dwell with us to become one people—when every male among us is circumcised as they are circumcised.

Nyájaik, jószáguk és minden barmuk nem a mieink lesznek-e? Csak egyezzünk meg velük, akkor velünk laknak.

Nyájaik, jószáguk, és minden barmuk nemde nem miéink lesznek-é? csak egyezzünk meg velök, akkor velünk laknak.

Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of their's be our's? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.

Turmele lor, averile lor şi toate vitele lor vor fi atunci ale noastre. Să primim numai ce cer ei, ca să rămână la noi.”

Will not their livestock, their property and all their beasts be ours? Only let us agree with them, and they will dwell with us.”

És engedett Hamórnak és Sikemnek, a fiának mindenki, aki a városa kapuján kijárt, és körülmetélkedett minden férfi, aki az ő városa kapuján kijárt.

És engedének Khámornak, és Sekhemnek az ő fiának mindenek, a kik az ő városa kapuján kijárnak vala, és körűlmetélkedék minden férfiú, a ki az ő városa kapuján kijár vala.

And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city.

Toţi cei ce treceau pe poarta cetăţii au ascultat pe Hamor şi pe fiul său, Sihem; şi toţi bărbaţii au fost tăiaţi împrejur, toţi cei ce treceau pe poarta cetăţii.

And all who went out of the gate of his city listened to Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male was circumcised, all who went out of the gate of his city.

És harmadnapon, amikor ők a seb fájdalmában voltak, Jákób két fia, Simeon és Lévi, Dina bátyjai, fegyvert ragadtak, és elszántan a városra törtek, és minden férfit megöltek.

És lőn harmadnapon, mikor ezek a seb fájdalmában valának, a Jákób két fia, Simeon és Lévi, Dínának bátyjai, fegyvert ragadának s bátran a városra ütének és minden férfit megölének.

And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.

A treia zi, pe când sufereau ei încă, cei doi fii ai lui Iacov, Simeon şi Levi, fraţii Dinei, şi-au luat fiecare sabia, s-au năpustit asupra cetăţii, care se credea în linişte, şi au ucis pe toţi bărbaţii.

On the third day, when they were sore, two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, took their swords and came against the city while it felt secure and killed all the males.

Hamórt és fiát, Sikemet fegyver élére hányták, és elvitték Dinát Sikem házából, és elmentek.

Khámort, és az ő fiát Sekhemet fegyver élére hányák, és elvivék Dínát a Sekhem házából, és kimenének.

And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out.

Au trecut, de asemenea, prin ascuţişul sabiei pe Hamor şi pe fiul său Sihem; au ridicat pe Dina din casa lui Sihem şi au ieşit afară.

They killed Hamor and his son Shechem with the sword and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house and went away.

Jákób fiai átgázoltak a megölteken, és feldúlták a várost, mivel megszeplősítették húgukat.

A Jákób fiai a megölteknek esének és feldúlák a várost, mivelhogy megszeplősítették vala az ő húgokat.

The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.

Fiii lui Iacov s-au aruncat asupra celor morţi şi au jefuit cetatea pentru că necinstiseră pe sora lor.

The sons of Jacob came upon the slain and plundered the city, because they had defiled their sister.

Elvitték a juhaikat, barmaikat, szamaraikat és azt, ami a városban és a mezőn volt.

Azok juhait, barmait, szamarait, és valami a városban, és a mezőn vala, elvivék.

They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,

Le-au luat oile, boii şi măgarii, tot ce era în cetate şi ce era pe câmp;

They took their flocks and their herds, their donkeys, and whatever was in the city and in the field.

És minden vagyonukat, minden gyermeküket és feleségeiket foglyul ejtették, és elraboltak mindent, ami a házakban volt.

És minden gazdagságukat, minden gyermekeiket és feleségeiket fogva vivék és elrablák, és mindent a mi a házban vala.

And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house.

le-au luat ca pradă de război toate bogăţiile, copiii şi nevestele, şi tot ce se găsea în case.

All their wealth, all their little ones and their wives, all that was in the houses, they captured and plundered.

Ekkor így szólt Jákób Simeonnak és Lévinek: Megháborítottatok engem, és utálatossá tettetek e föld lakói előtt, a kánaániak és a perizziek előtt. Én csak kevesedmagammal vagyok, és ha összegyűlnek ellenem, levágnak, és elvesztenek engem, egész házam népével együtt.

És monda Jákób Simeonnak és Lévinek: Megháborítottatok engem, [és] utálatossá tettetek e föld lakosai előtt, a Kananeusok és Perizeusok előtt; én pedig kevesed magammal vagyok, és ha összegyűlnek ellenem, levágnak, és eltörölnek engem, mind házam népével egybe.

And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

Atunci Iacov a zis lui Simeon şi lui Levi: „Voi m-aţi nenorocit, făcându-mă urât locuitorilor ţării, canaaniţilor şi feresiţilor. N-am sub porunca mea decât un mic număr de oameni; ei se vor strânge împotriva mea, mă vor bate şi voi fi nimicit, eu şi casa mea.”

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble on me by making me stink to the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites and the Perizzites. My numbers are few, and if they gather themselves against me and attack me, I shall be destroyed, both I and my household.”

Azok pedig ezt felelték neki: Hát úgy kellett-e bánni a húgunkkal, mint tisztátalan személlyel?

Azok pedig mondának: Hát mint tisztátalan személylyel, úgy kellett-é bánni a mi húgunkkal?

And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with an harlot?

Ei au răspuns: „Se cuvenea oare să se poarte cu sora noastră cum se poartă cu o curvă?”

But they said, “Should he treat our sister like a prostitute?”
