Jákób pedig fölemelte a szemét, és látta, hogy íme, Ézsau jön, és négyszáz férfi van vele. Szétosztotta azért a gyermekeket Lea mellé, Ráhel mellé és két szolgálója mellé.

Jákób pedig felemelé szemeit és látá, hogy ímé Ézsaú jő vala, és négyszáz férfiú ő vele; megosztá azért a gyermekeket Lea mellé, Rákhel mellé, és két szolgálója mellé.

And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.

Iacov a ridicat ochii şi s-a uitat; şi iată ca Esau venea cu patru sute de oameni. Atunci a împărţit copiii între Lea, Rahela şi cele două roabe.

And Jacob lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, Esau was coming, and four hundred men with him. So he divided the children among Leah and Rachel and the two female servants.

És előreállította a szolgálókat és gyermekeiket, majd Leát és gyermekeit, végül Ráhelt és leghátul Józsefet.

And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost.

And he put the servants with their children in front, then Leah with her children, and Rachel and Joseph last of all.

And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.

Ézsau pedig eléje futott, és megölelte őt, nyakába borult, megcsókolta, és sírtak.

Ézsaú pedig eleibe futamodék és megölelé őt, nyakába borúla, s megcsókolá őt, és sírának.

And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.

Esau a alergat înaintea lui; l-a îmbrăţişat, i s-a aruncat pe grumaz şi l-a sărutat. Şi au plâns.

És fölemelte szemét Ézsau, és látta az asszonyokat és a gyermekeket, és ezt mondta: Kicsodák ezek teveled? Ő pedig azt mondta: A gyermekek, akikkel Isten megajándékozta szolgádat.

És felemelé szemeit s látá az asszonyokat és a gyermekeket, és monda: Kicsodák ezek teveled? Ő pedig monda: A gyermekek, kikkel Isten megajándékozta a te szolgádat.

And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

Esau, ridicând ochii, a văzut femeile şi copiii şi a zis: „Cine sunt aceia?” Şi Iacov a răspuns: „Sunt copiii, pe care i-a dat Dumnezeu robului tău.”

And when Esau lifted up his eyes and saw the women and children, he said, “Who are these with you?” Jacob said, “The children whom God has graciously given your servant.”

És közeledtek a szolgálók, ők és gyermekeik, és meghajoltak.

És közelítének a szolgálók, ők és gyermekeik és meghajták magokat.

Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.

Odaérkezett Lea is gyermekeivel, és ők is meghajoltak. Utoljára érkezett József és Ráhel, és ők is meghajtották magukat.

And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.

Lea şi copiii ei, de asemenea, s-au apropiat şi s-au aruncat cu faţa la pământ; în urmă s-au apropiat Iosif şi Rahela şi s-au aruncat cu faţa la pământ.

Leah likewise and her children drew near and bowed down. And last Joseph and Rachel drew near, and they bowed down.

És ezt mondta Ézsau: Mire való ez az egész sereg, melyet előtted találtam? Erre ő így felelt: Hogy kedvet találjak az én uram szemében.

És monda [Ézsaú:] Mire való ez az egész sereg, melyet előltalálék? És felele: Hogy kedvet találjak az én uram szemei előtt.

And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.

Esau a zis: „Ce ai de gând să faci cu toată tabăra aceea pe care am întâlnit-o?” Şi Iacov a răspuns: „Voiesc să capăt trecere cu ea înaintea domnului meu.”

Esau said, “What do you mean by all this company that I met?” Jacob answered, “To find favor in the sight of my lord.”

Erre azt mondta Ézsau: Van nekem elég, jó öcsém, legyen a tied, ami a tied.

És monda Ézsaú: Van nekem elég, jó öcsém, legyen tiéd, a mi a tiéd.

And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.

Esau a zis: „Eu am din belşug, păstrează, frate, ce este al tău.”

But Esau said, “I have enough, my brother; keep what you have for yourself.”

Jákób pedig így felelt: Ne úgy, kérlek, hanem ha kedvet találtam a szemedben, fogadd el ajándékomat a kezemből. Mert a te arcodra úgy nézek, mintha Isten arcát látnám, és te kegyesen fogadtál engem.

Monda pedig Jákób: Ne úgy, kérlek, hanem ha kedvet találtam szemeid előtt, fogadd el ajándékomat az én kezemből; mert a te orczádat úgy néztem, mintha az Isten orczáját látnám, és te kegyesen fogadál engem.

And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.

Şi Iacov a răspuns: „Nu; te rog, dacă am căpătat trecere înaintea ta, primeşte darul acesta din mâna mea; căci m-am uitat la faţa ta cum se uită cineva la faţa lui Dumnezeu, şi tu m-ai primit cu bunăvoinţă.

Jacob said, “No, please, if I have found favor in your sight, then accept my present from my hand. For I have seen your face, which is like seeing the face of God, and you have accepted me.

Vedd el, kérlek, az ajándékomat, melyet hoztam neked, mert Isten kegyelmesen cselekedett velem, és van mindenem. És unszolta őt, mire Ézsau elfogadta.

Vedd el kérlek az én ajándékomat, melyet hoztam néked, mivelhogy az Isten kegyelmesen cselekedett én velem, és mindenem van nékem. És unszolá őt, és elvevé.

Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.

Primeşte deci darul meu, care ţi-a fost adus, fiindcă Dumnezeu m-a umplut de bunătăţi şi am de toate.” Astfel a stăruit de el, şi Esau a primit.

Please accept my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” Thus he urged him, and he took it.

És ezt mondta: Induljunk, menjünk el, és én előtted megyek.

És monda: Induljunk, menjünk el, és én előtted megyek.

And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.

Esau a zis: „Haidem să plecăm şi să pornim la drum; eu voi merge înaintea ta.”

Then Esau said, “Let us journey on our way, and I will go ahead of you.”

Felelt neki Jákób: Az én uram jól tudja, hogy e gyermekek gyengék, és hogy szoptatós juhok és állatok vannak velem, amelyeket ha csak egy napig is zaklatnak, a nyájak mind elhullnak.

Felele néki [Jákób]: Az én uram jól tudja, hogy e gyermekek gyengék, és hogy szoptatós juhokkal és barmokkal vagyok körűl, a melyeket ha csak egy napig zaklatnak is, a nyájak mind elhullanak.

And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.

Iacov i-a răspuns: „Domnul meu vede că copiii sunt mici şi am oi şi vaci fătate; dacă le-am sili la drum o singură zi, toată turma va pieri.

But Jacob said to him, “My lord knows that the children are frail, and that the nursing flocks and herds are a care to me. If they are driven hard for one day, all the flocks will die.

Menjen el azért az én uram az ő szolgája előtt, én is elballagok lassan, az előttem járó jószág lépése szerint és a gyermekek lépése szerint, míg eljutok az én uramhoz Széírbe.

Menjen el azért az én uram az ő szolgája előtt, én is elballagok lassan, a jószág lépése szerint, a mely előttem van, és a gyermekek lépése szerint, míg eljutok az én uramhoz Széirbe.

Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.

Domnul meu s-o ia înaintea robului său; şi eu voi veni încet pe urmă, la pas cu turma, care va merge înaintea mea, şi la pas cu copiii, până voi ajunge la domnul meu, în Seir.”

Let my lord pass on ahead of his servant, and I will lead on slowly, at the pace of the livestock that are ahead of me and at the pace of the children, until I come to my lord in Seir.”

Erre azt felelte Ézsau: Hadd rendeljek melléd néhányat a velem levő emberek közül! Mire ő ezt mondta: Minek az? Csak hogy kedvet találjak uram szemében.

És monda Ézsaú: Hadd rendeljek melléd néhányat a nép közűl, mely velem van. S ez monda: Minek az? csak kedvet találjak az én uram szemei előtt.

And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

Esau a zis: „Vreau să las cu tine măcar o parte din oamenii mei.” Şi Iacov a răspuns: „Pentru ce aceasta? Mi-ajunge să capăt trecere înaintea ta, domnul meu!”

So Esau said, “Let me leave with you some of the people who are with me.” But he said, “What need is there? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.”

Visszatért tehát Ézsau még aznap a maga útján Széír felé.

Visszatére tehát Ézsaú még az nap az ő útján Széir felé.

So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.

În aceeaşi zi, Esau a luat drumul înapoi la Seir.

Jákób pedig Szukkótba ment, és házat épített magának, barmainak pedig hajlékokat csinált. Ezért nevezte a helyet Szukkótnak.

Jákób pedig méne Szukkóthba és építe magának házat, barmainak pedig hajlékokat csinála, s azért nevezé a hely nevét Szukkóthnak.

And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.

Iacov a plecat mai departe la Sucot. Şi-a zidit o casă şi a făcut colibe pentru turme. De aceea s-a dat locului aceluia numele Sucot.

But Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built himself a house and made booths for his livestock. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.

Azután Jákób Paddan-Arámból jövet minden baj nélkül Sikem városába ért, amely Kánaán földjén van, és letelepedett a város előtt.

Annakutána minden bántás nélkül méne Jákób Mésopotámiából jövet Sekhem városába, mely vala a Kanaán földén, és letelepedék a város előtt.

And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city.

La întoarcerea lui din Padan-Aram, Iacov a ajuns cu bine în cetatea Sihem, în ţara Canaan, şi a tăbărât înaintea cetăţii.

And Jacob came safely to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, on his way from Paddan-aram, and he camped before the city.

És megvette Hamórnak, Sikem atyjának fiaitól száz pénzen a mezőnek azt a részét, ahol a sátrát felvonta.

És megvevé a mezőnek azt a részét, a hol sátorát felvonta vala, Khámornak a Sekhem atyjának fiaitól száz pénzen.

And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.

Partea de ogor, pe care îşi întinsese cortul, a cumpărat-o de la fiii lui Hamor, tatăl lui Sihem, cu o sută de chesita.

And from the sons of Hamor, Shechem’s father, he bought for a hundred pieces of money the piece of land on which he had pitched his tent.

Majd oltárt állított fel ott, és így nevezte: Isten, Izráel Istene.

És oltárt állíta ott, és nevezé azt [ily névvel:] Isten, Izráel Istene.

And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheIsrael.

Şi acolo a ridicat un altar pe care l-a numit El-Elohe-Israel.

There he erected an altar and called it El-Elohe-Israel.
