Abban az időben – ezt mondja az ÚR – kiszórják majd sírjukból Júda királyainak a csontjait és fejedelmeik csontjait, a papok csontjait és a próféták csontjait és Jeruzsálem lakosainak a csontjait.

Abban az időben, azt mondja az Úr, kihányják majd Júda királyainak csontjait és az ő fejedelmeinek csontjait, a papok csontjait és a próféták csontjait és Jeruzsálem lakosainak csontjait az ő sírjaikból;

At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:

În vremea aceea, zice Domnul, se vor scoate din mormintele lor oasele împăraţilor lui Iuda, oasele căpeteniilor lui, oasele preoţilor, oasele prorocilor şi oasele locuitorilor Ierusalimului.

“At that time, declares the LORD, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs.

Kiterítik azokat a nap, a hold és az ég egész serege elé, amelyeket szerettek, szolgáltak és követtek, amelyeket kerestek, és amelyek előtt leborultak. Nem szedik össze azokat, el sem temetik, ganéjjá lesznek a föld színén!

És kiterítik azokat a napra és a holdra és az égnek minden serege elé, amelyeket szerettek, és a melyeknek szolgáltak, és a melyek után jártak, és a melyeket kerestek, és a melyek előtt leborultak; nem szedetnek össze, el sem temettetnek, ganéjjá lesznek a föld színén!

And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.

Le vor întinde în faţa soarelui, în faţa lunii şi în faţa întregii oştiri a cerurilor, pe care le-au iubit ei, cărora le-au slujit, pe care le-au urmat, pe care le-au căutat şi înaintea cărora s-au închinat. Nu le vor mai strânge, nici nu le vor mai îngropa, şi se vor face gunoi pe pământ.

And they shall be spread before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. And they shall not be gathered or buried. They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.

Az egész maradék, mindazok, akik megmaradtak e gonosz nemzetségből, mindazokon a helyeken, ahová a megmaradtakat kiűztem, inkább a halált választják, mint az életet! – így szól a Seregek URa.

És inkább választja a halált, mint az életet az egész maradék, [mindazok,] a kik megmaradtak a gonosz nemzetségből, mindazokon a helyeken; [a hol] megmaradtak, a hová kiűztem őket; azt mondja a Seregek Ura!

And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.

Toţi cei ce vor rămâne din acest neam rău vor dori mai degrabă moartea decât viaţa, în toate locurile unde îi voi izgoni, zice Domnul oştirilor.

Death shall be preferred to life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family in all the places where I have driven them, declares the LORD of hosts.

Ezt is mondd nekik: Így szól az ÚR: Ha elesik valaki, nem kel-e föl? Ha letér az útról, nem fordul-e vissza?

Ezt is mondjad nékik: Így szól az Úr: Úgy esnek-é el, hogy fel nem kelhetnek? Ha elfordulnak, nem fordulhatnak-é vissza?

Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?

Spune-le: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Cine cade şi nu se mai scoală? Sau cine se abate fără să se întoarcă iarăşi?

“You shall say to them, Thus says the LORD: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return?

Miért fordult el ez a nép, Jeruzsálem népe, s tévelyeg szüntelen? Kitartanak a csalárdságban, nem akarnak visszafordulni.

Miért fordult el ez a nép, Jeruzsálem [népe,] örök elfordulással? A csalárdságnak adták magokat, visszafordulni nem akarnak.

Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

Pentru ce, dar, poporul acesta al Ierusalimului se lasă dus în necurmate rătăciri, stăruie în înşelătorie şi nu vor să se întoarcă la Dumnezeu?

Why then has this people turned away in perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit; they refuse to return.

Figyeltem és hallottam: nem mondanak igazat, senki sincs, aki megbánná gonoszságát, és ezt mondaná: Mit tettem? Mindenki a maga pályáját futja, mint a harcba rohanó ló.

Figyeltem és hallottam: nem igazán beszélnek, senki sincs, a ki megbánja az ő gonoszságát, ezt mondván: Mit cselekedtem? Mindnyájan az ő futó-pályájokra térnek, mint a harczra rohanó ló.

I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.

Căci Eu sunt cu luare aminte şi aud că ei nu vorbesc cum ar trebui; niciunul nu se căieşte de răutatea lui şi nu zice: „Ce am făcut?” Ci toţi îşi încep din nou alergarea ca un cal care se aruncă la luptă.

I have paid attention and listened, but they have not spoken rightly; no man relents of his evil, saying, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone turns to his own course, like a horse plunging headlong into battle.

Még a gólya is az égen ismeri a maga rendelt idejét, a gerlice, a fecske és a daru is megtartja, hogy mikor kell elmennie, csak az én népem nem ismeri az ÚR törvényét!

Még az eszterág is tudja a maga [rendelt] idejét az égben, és a gerlicze, a fecske és daru is megtartják, hogy mikor kell elmenniök, de az én népem nem tudja az Úr ítéletét!

Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.

Chiar şi cocostârcul îşi cunoaşte vremea pe ceruri; turtureaua, rândunica şi cocorul îşi păzesc vremea venirii lor; dar poporul Meu nu cunoaşte Legea Domnului!

Even the stork in the heavens knows her times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming, but my people know not the rules of the LORD.

Hogyan mondhatjátok: Bölcsek vagyunk, és nálunk van az ÚR törvénye! Íme, bizony hazugsággá tette ezt az írástudók hazug tolla!

Hogyan mondhatjátok: Bölcsek vagyunk, és az Úr törvénye nálunk van? Bizony ímé hazugságra munkál az írástudók hazug tolla!

How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

Cum puteţi voi să ziceţi: „Suntem înţelepţi, şi Legea Domnului este cu noi”? Cu adevărat, degeaba s-a pus la lucru pana mincinoasă a cărturarilor.

“How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.

Megszégyenülnek a bölcsek, megrémülnek, mert rajtakapták őket. Íme, megvetették az ÚR szavát: milyen bölcsességük lenne hát?

Megszégyenülnek a bölcsek, megrémülnek és megfogattatnak! Ímé, megvetették az Úr szavát; micsoda bölcsességök van tehát nékik?

The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?

Înţelepţii sunt daţi de ruşine, sunt uimiţi, sunt prinşi, căci au nesocotit cuvântul Domnului. Şi ce înţelepciune au ei?

The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom is in them?

Azért feleségüket idegeneknek adom, mezőiket a hódítóknak, mert kicsinytől a nagyig mindnyájan nyerészkedésre adták magukat, a prófétától a papig mind hamisságot űznek.

Azért az ő feleségeiket idegeneknek adom, mezőiket hódítóknak; mert kicsinytől fogva nagyig mindnyájan nyereség után nyargalnak; a prófétától fogva a papig mindnyájan hamisságot űznek.

Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

De aceea, pe nevestele lor le voi da altora, şi ogoarele lor, altor stăpâni. Căci de la cel mai mic până la cel mai mare, toţi sunt lacomi de câştig mârşav, de la proroc până la preot, toţi înşală!

Therefore I will give their wives to others and their fields to conquerors, because from the least to the greatest everyone is greedy for unjust gain; from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely.

Úgy gyógyítgatják népem sebeit, hogy könnyelműen azt mondják: „Békesség, békesség!”, de nincs békesség!

És hazugsággal gyógyítgatják az én népem leányának romlását, mondván: Békesség, békesség, és nincs békesség!

For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Leagă în chip uşuratic rana fiicei poporului Meu, zicând: „Pace! Pace!” Şi totuşi pace nu este.

They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.

Szégyenkezniük kellene, mert utálatosságot cselekedtek, de bizony nem szégyenkeznek, még pirulni sem tudnak. Ezért elesnek majd a többi elesővel együtt, elbuknak majd megbüntetésük idején – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Szégyenkezniök kellene, hogy útálatosságot cselekedtek; de szégyenkezni nem szégyenkeznek, még pirulni sem tudnak: ezért elesnek majd az elesendőkkel; az ő megfenyíttetésök idején elhullanak, azt mondja az Úr.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

Vor fi daţi de ruşine, căci săvârşesc astfel de urâciuni; nu roşesc şi nu ştiu de ruşine; de aceea, vor cădea împreună cu cei ce cad şi vor fi răsturnaţi, când îi voi pedepsi, zice Domnul.

Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among the fallen; when I punish them, they shall be overthrown, says the LORD.

Össze akartam gyűjteni őket – ezt mondja az ÚR. De nincs szőlő a szőlőtőkén, nincs füge a fügefán, a levele is elhervadt! Ezért megengedem, hogy elvigyék őket.

Végképen véget vetek nékik, azt mondja az Úr! Nincs gerezd a szőlőtőkén, nincs füge a fügefán, a levele is elhervadt; azt teszem azért, hogy tovavigyék őket.

I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

Vreau să isprăvesc cu ei, zice Domnul. Nu vor mai fi struguri în vie, nici smochine în smochin, şi frunzele se vor veşteji. Le voi da celor ce vor trece peste ele.” –

When I would gather them, declares the LORD, there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree; even the leaves are withered, and what I gave them has passed away from them.”

Miért ülünk még itt? Gyűljetek össze, menjünk be a megerősített városokba, hogy nyugtot leljünk. Mert az ÚR, a mi Istenünk úgy ad nyugtot, hogy mérget itat velünk, mert vétkeztünk az ÚR ellen!

Miért ülünk [még?] Gyűljetek össze, és menjünk be az erősített városokba, és hallgassunk ott; mert az Úr, a mi Istenünk hallgatásra juttatott minket, és mérges vizet adott innunk; mert vétkeztünk az Úr ellen!

Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.

„Pentru ce şedem jos? Strângeţi-vă şi haidem în cetăţile întărite ca să pierim acolo! Căci Domnul Dumnezeul nostru ne sorteşte la moarte, ne dă să bem ape otrăvite, pentru că am păcătuit împotriva Domnului.

Why do we sit still? Gather together; let us go into the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has doomed us to perish and has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.

Békességre várunk, holott nem lesz semmi jó; gyógyulás idejére, de íme, itt a rémület.

[Miért] békességre várni, holott nincs semmi jó; gyógyító időre, holott ímé [itt] van az ijedelem.

We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble!

Aşteptam pacea, şi nu vine nimic mai bun; o vreme de vindecare, şi iată groaza!

We looked for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.

Dán felől hallatszik lovainak prüszkölése, ménjeinek nyerítő hangjától reng az egész föld. Eljönnek, és megemésztik az egész földet, a várost és lakóit.

Dántól fogva hallatszik az ő lovainak tüsszögése; méneinek nyerítő hangjától reng az egész föld; és eljőnek és megemésztik e földet és mindenét, a mije van, a várost és annak lakóit.

The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.

Sforăitul cailor Săi se aude dinspre Dan şi de vuietul nechezatului lor se cutremură toată ţara; vin, mănâncă ţara şi ce cuprinde ea, cetatea şi pe cei ce o locuiesc.”

“The snorting of their horses is heard from Dan; at the sound of the neighing of their stallions the whole land quakes. They come and devour the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it.

Mert íme, viperákat bocsátok rátok, amelyek ellen nincsen varázslás, és megmarnak titeket! – így szól az ÚR.

Mert ímé, én vipera-kígyókat bocsátok reátok, a melyek ellen nincsen varázslás, és megmarnak titeket, azt mondja az Úr!

For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.

„Căci iată că trimit între voi nişte şerpi, nişte basilici, împotriva cărora nu este niciun descântec, şi vă vor muşca, zice Domnul.”

For behold, I am sending among you serpents, adders that cannot be charmed, and they shall bite you,” declares the LORD.

Elhagyott az öröm, nyomorúság terhel, szívem is eleped bennem!

Megnyugodhatom-é a nyomorúság felett? Szívem eleped én bennem!

When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.

Aş vrea să-mi alin durerea; dar mă doare inima în mine.

My joy is gone; grief is upon me; my heart is sick within me.

Íme, népem leányának kiáltása hangzik messze földről: Hát nincs már az ÚR a Sionon? Nincs többé ott az ő Királya? Miért ingereltek föl engem faragott bálványaikkal, idegen hiábavalóságokkal?

Ímé, az én népem leányának kiáltó szava a messze földről: Nincsen-é ott az Úr a Sionon? Nincsen-é azon az ő királya? Miért ingereltek fel engem az ő faragott bálványaikkal, az idegen semmiségekkel?

Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?

Iată, strigătele fiicei poporului meu răsună dintr-o ţară depărtată: „Nu mai este Domnul în Sion? Nu mai este în ea împăratul ei?” – „Pentru ce M-au mâniat ei cu chipurile lor cioplite, cu idoli străini?” –

Behold, the cry of the daughter of my people from the length and breadth of the land: “Is the LORD not in Zion? Is her King not in her?” “Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images and with their foreign idols?”

Elmúlt az aratás, véget ért a nyár, de mi nem szabadultunk meg!

Elmult az aratás, elvégződött a nyár, és mi nem szabadultunk meg!

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

„Secerişul a trecut, vara s-a isprăvit, şi noi tot nu suntem mântuiţi!” –

“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”

Népem leányának romlása lesújtott engem, gyászba borultam, rémület fogott el.

Az én népem leányának romlása miatt megromlottam, szomorkodom, iszonyat fogott el engem!

For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.

Sunt zdrobit de durerea fiicei poporului meu, mă doare, m-apucă groaza.

For the wound of the daughter of my people is my heart wounded; I mourn, and dismay has taken hold on me.

Nincs balzsamolaj Gileádban? Nincs ott orvos? Miért nem gyógyult meg népem leánya?

Nincsen-é balzsamolaj Gileádban? Nincsen-é ott orvos? Miért nem gyógyíttatott meg az én népem leánya?

Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Nu este niciun leac alinător în Galaad? Nu este niciun doctor acolo? Pentru ce nu se face, dar, vindecarea fiicei poporului meu? –

Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been restored?
