Állj az ÚR házának kapujába, és hirdesd ott e beszédet, és mondjad: Halljátok az ÚR beszédét mind, ti júdabeliek, akik bementek ezeken az kapukon, hogy imádjátok az URat!

Állj az Úr házának ajtajába, és kiáltsd ott e beszédet, és mondjad: Halljátok az Úr beszédét mind, ti Júdabeliek, a kik bementek ezeken az ajtókon, hogy imádjátok az Urat!

Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

„Şezi la poarta Casei Domnului, vesteşte acolo cuvântul acesta şi spune: „Ascultaţi cuvântul Domnului, toţi bărbaţii lui Iuda care intraţi pe aceste porţi ca să vă închinaţi înaintea Domnului!

“Stand in the gate of the LORD’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all you men of Judah who enter these gates to worship the LORD.

Így szól a Sergek URa, Izráel Istene: Jobbítsátok meg útjaitokat és cselekedeteiteket, akkor megengedem, hogy ezen a helyen lakozzatok!

Így szól a Seregek Ura, Izráel Istene: Jobbítsátok meg a ti útaitokat és cselekedeteiteket, és veletek lakozom e helyen!

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Îndreptaţi-vă căile şi faptele, şi vă voi lăsa să locuiţi în locul acesta.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.

Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

Do not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’

Mert csak ha valóban megjobbítjátok útjaitokat és cselekedeteiteket, ha igazságosan ítéltek ember és felebarátja között,

Mert csak ha valóban megjobbítjátok a ti útaitokat és cselekedeteiteket; ha igazán ítéltek az ember között és felebarátja között;

For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

Căci numai dacă vă veţi îndrepta căile şi faptele, dacă veţi înfăptui dreptatea unii faţă de alţii,

“For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice one with another,

ha a jövevényt, az árvát és az özvegyet nem nyomorgatjátok, és ártatlan vért sem ontotok ki ezen a helyen, és idegen istenek után sem jártok a magatok veszedelmére,

[Ha] jövevényt, árvát és özvegyet meg nem nyomorgattok, és ezen a helyen ártatlan vért ki nem ontotok, és idegen istenek után sem jártok a magatok veszedelmére:

If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

dacă nu veţi asupri pe străin, pe orfan şi pe văduvă, dacă nu veţi vărsa sânge nevinovat în locul acesta şi dacă nu veţi merge după alţi dumnezei, spre nenorocirea voastră,

if you do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm,

akkor engedem meg, hogy ezen a helyen lakozzatok, azon a földön, amelyet atyáitoknak adtam öröktől fogva mindörökké.

Akkor lakozom veletek ezen a helyen, a földön, a melyet a ti atyáitoknak adtam, öröktől fogva mindörökké.

Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

numai aşa vă voi lăsa să locuiţi în locul acesta, în ţara pe care am dat-o părinţilor voştri, din veşnicie în veşnicie.

then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.

Íme, ti hazug beszédeknek hisztek, amelyeknek nincs semmi hasznuk.

Ímé, ti hisztek a hazug beszédeknek, haszon nélkül!

Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

Dar iată că voi vă hrăniţi cu nădejdi înşelătoare care nu slujesc la nimic.

“Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail.

Loptok, öltök és paráználkodtok, hamisan esküsztök, a Baalnak áldoztok, és idegen istenek után jártok, akiket nem ismertek.

Nemde loptok, öltök és paráználkodtok, hamisan esküsztök, a Baálnak áldoztok és idegen istenek után jártok, a kiket nem ismertek:

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

Cum? Furaţi, ucideţi, preacurviţi, juraţi strâmb, aduceţi tămâie lui Baal, mergeţi după alţi dumnezei pe care nu-i cunoaşteţi!…

Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, make offerings to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known,

Majd eljöttök, és megálltok előttem e házban, amely az én nevemet viseli, és ezt mondjátok: Megszabadultunk! De utána ugyanazokat az utálatosságokat cselekszitek!

És eljőtök, és megállotok előttem e házban, a mely az én nevemről neveztetik, és ezt mondjátok: Megszabadultunk; hogy ugyanazokat az útálatosságokat cselekedhessétek!

And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Şi apoi veniţi să vă înfăţişaţi înaintea Mea, în Casa aceasta peste care este chemat Numele Meu, şi ziceţi: „Suntem izbăviţi!”… ca iarăşi să faceţi toate aceste urâciuni!

and then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations?

Vajon latrok barlangjává lett ez a ház a szemetekben, amelyet nevemről neveztetek el? Íme, én is látok – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Vajjon latrok barlangjává lett-é ez a ház ti előttetek, a mely az én nevemről neveztetik? Ímé, én is látok, azt mondja az Úr.

Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

Este Casa aceasta peste care este chemat Numele Meu o peşteră de tâlhari înaintea voastră? Eu însumi văd lucrul acesta, zice Domnul!

Has this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the LORD.

Mert menjetek csak el az én helyemre, amely Silóban van, ahol először lakozott a nevem, és lássátok meg, hogy mit cselekedtem azzal népem, Izráel gonoszsága miatt!

Mert menjetek csak el az én helyemre, a mely Silóban van, a hol először lakoztam az én nevemmel, és lássátok meg, hogy mit cselekedtem azzal az én népemnek, Izráelnek gonoszságáért!

But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

Duceţi-vă, dar, la locul care-Mi fusese închinat la Silo, unde pusesem să locuiască odinioară Numele Meu, şi vedeţi ce i-am făcut din pricina răutăţii poporului Meu, Israel!

Go now to my place that was in Shiloh, where I made my name dwell at first, and see what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel.

Most pedig, mivel mindezeket a cselekedeteket megtettétek – így szól az ÚR –, bár szüntelen szóltam hozzátok, mégsem hallgattatok rám, kiáltottam nektek, és nem feleltetek,

Most pedig, mivelhogy mindezeket a cselekedeteket megcselekszitek, azt mondja az Úr, és mivelhogy szüntelen szóltam, és szóltam ti néktek, de nem hallottátok, és kiáltottam néktek, de nem feleltetek:

And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

Şi acum, fiindcă aţi făcut toate aceste fapte, zice Domnul, fiindcă v-am vorbit dis-de-dimineaţă, şi n-aţi ascultat, fiindcă v-am chemat, şi n-aţi răspuns,

And now, because you have done all these things, declares the LORD, and when I spoke to you persistently you did not listen, and when I called you, you did not answer,

ezért úgy cselekszem e házzal, amelyet nevemről neveztetek el, amelyben bizakodtok, és e hellyel, amelyet nektek és atyáitoknak adtam, ahogyan Silóval cselekedtem.

Azért úgy cselekszem e házzal, a mely az én nevemről neveztetik, a melyben ti bizakodtok, és e hellyel, a melyet néktek és a ti atyáitoknak adtam, a mint Silóval cselekedtem.

Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

voi face Casei peste care este chemat Numele Meu, în care vă puneţi încrederea, şi locului pe care vi l-am dat vouă şi părinţilor voştri, le voi face întocmai cum am făcut lui Silo.

therefore I will do to the house that is called by my name, and in which you trust, and to the place that I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

Elvetlek titeket színem elől, amint elvetettem minden testvéreteket, Efraim minden utódát.

És elvetlek titeket színem elől, a mint elvetettem mind a ti atyátokfiait, Efraimnak minden magvát.

And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

Şi vă voi lepăda de la faţa Mea cum am lepădat pe toţi fraţii voştri, pe toată sămânţa lui Efraim! –

And I will cast you out of my sight, as I cast out all your kinsmen, all the offspring of Ephraim.

Te pedig ne imádkozz ezért a népért, ne kiálts hozzám, és ne könyörögj érettük, ne is járj közben nálam, mert nem hallgatlak meg.

És te ne imádkozzál e népért, se jajszót, se könyörgést ne emelj érettök, és nálam közben ne járj; mert én meg nem hallgatlak téged!

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

Tu însă nu mijloci pentru poporul acesta, nu înălţa nici cereri, nici rugăciuni pentru ei şi nu stărui pe lângă Mine; căci nu te voi asculta!

“As for you, do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with me, for I will not hear you.

Nem látod, mit cselekszenek Júda városaiban és Jeruzsálem utcáin?

Nem látod-é te: mit cselekesznek ők Júda városaiban és Jeruzsálem utczáin?

Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Nu vezi ce fac ei în cetăţile lui Iuda şi pe uliţele Ierusalimului?

Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

A fiak fát szedegetnek, az apák tüzet gyújtanak, az asszonyok pedig dagasztanak, hogy áldozati kalácsokat készítsenek az ég királynőjének, és italáldozatokat áldozzanak az idegen isteneknek, hogy fölingereljenek engem.

A fiak fát szedegetnek, az atyák gyujtják a tüzet, az asszonyok pedig dagasztanak, hogy az ég királynőjének béleseket készítsenek, és az idegen isteneknek italáldozatokkal áldoznak, hogy engem felingereljenek.

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

Copiii strâng lemne, părinţii aprind focul, şi femeile frământă plămădeala ca să pregătească turte împărătesei cerului şi să toarne jertfe de băutură altor dumnezei ca să Mă mânie.

The children gather wood, the fathers kindle fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven. And they pour out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger.

Vajon engem ingerelnek-e ők – ezt mondja az ÚR –, nem pedig saját magukat, hogy gyalázat borítsa arcukat?

Avagy engem ingerelnek-é ők, azt mondja az Úr, és nem magokat-é, hogy gyalázat [borítsa] arczukat?

Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

Pe Mine Mă mânie ei oare, zice Domnul; nu pe ei înşişi, spre ruşinea lor?”

Is it I whom they provoke? declares the LORD. Is it not themselves, to their own shame?

Azért azt mondja az én Uram, az ÚR: Íme, felindulásomat és haragomat kiontom erre a helyre, az emberekre és az állatokra, a mező fáira és a föld gyümölcsére; égni fog, és nem alszik ki!

Azért ezt mondja az Úr Isten: Ímé az én haragom és búsulásom kiömlik e helyre, az emberekre és a barmokra, a mezőnek fáira és a földnek gyümölcseire, és égni fog, és el nem aluszik.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Iată, mânia şi urgia Mea se vor vărsa peste locul acesta, peste oameni şi dobitoace, peste copacii de pe câmp şi peste roadele pământului; şi va arde şi nu se va stinge.”

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, upon man and beast, upon the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; it will burn and not be quenched.”

Azt mondja a Seregek URa, Izráel Istene: Égőáldozataitokat rakjátok véres áldozataitok mellé, és egyétek meg a húst!

Ezt mondja a Seregek Ura, Izráel Istene: Égőáldozataitokat rakjátok a ti véres áldozataitokhoz, és egyetek húst!

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Adăugaţi arderile voastre de tot la jertfele voastre şi mâncaţi-le carnea!

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat the flesh.

Mert amikor atyáitokat kihoztam Egyiptom földjéről, nem beszéltem nekik, és nem rendelkeztem az égőáldozatról és a véresáldozatról,

Mert nem szóltam a ti atyáitokkal, és nem rendelkeztem velök, a mikor kihoztam őket Égyiptom földéről, az égőáldozat és véres áldozat felől;

For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

Căci n-am vorbit nimic cu părinţii voştri şi nu le-am dat nicio poruncă cu privire la arderi de tot şi jertfe, în ziua când i-am scos din ţara Egiptului.

For in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak to your fathers or command them concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices.

hanem ezekkel a szavakkal utasítottam őket: Hallgassatok a szavamra, és Istenetekké leszek, ti pedig népemmé lesztek; és mindig csak azon az úton járjatok, amelyre utasítalak titeket, hogy jól legyen dolgotok!

Hanem ezekkel a szavakkal utasítottam őket, mondván: Hallgassatok az én szómra, és én Istenetekké leszek, ti pedig az én népemmé lesztek, és mind [csak] azon az úton járjatok, a melyre utasítottalak titeket, hogy jól legyen dolgotok!

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Ci iată porunca pe care le-am dat-o: „Ascultaţi glasul Meu, şi Eu voi fi Dumnezeul vostru, iar voi veţi fi poporul Meu; umblaţi pe toate căile pe care vi le-am poruncit, ca să fiţi fericiţi.”

But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

De nem hallgattak rám, fülüket sem fordították felém, hanem gonosz szívük konokságában a maguk tanácsa szerint jártak, és hátukat fordították felém, nem az arcukat.

De nem hallgattak, és fülöket sem hajtották [felém, ]hanem az ő gonosz szívök fásultságában a magok tanácsa szerint jártak, és háttal valának [felém,] és nem arczczal.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Dar ei n-au ascultat şi n-au luat aminte, ci au urmat sfaturile şi pornirile inimii lor rele, au dat înapoi şi n-au mers înainte.

But they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.

Attól a naptól fogva, amelyen kijöttek atyáitok Egyiptom földjéről, egészen mindmáig, nap mint nap, állandóan küldtem hozzátok szolgáimat, a prófétákat.

Attól a naptól fogva, a melyen kijöttek a ti atyáitok Égyiptom földéből e mai napig küldtem hozzátok minden én szolgámat, a prófétákat napról-napra, szüntelen küldöttem;

Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

Din ziua când au ieşit părinţii voştri din Egipt până în ziua de azi, v-am trimis pe toţi slujitorii Mei, prorocii, i-am trimis în fiecare zi de dimineaţă.

From the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt to this day, I have persistently sent all my servants the prophets to them, day after day.

De nem hallgattak rám, fülüket sem fordították felém, hanem megkeményítették nyakukat, és gonoszabbul cselekedtek, mint atyáik!

De nem hallgattak reám, és fülöket sem hajtották [felém;] hanem megkeményítették nyakukat, [és] gonoszabbul cselekedtek, mint az ő atyáik!

Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

Dar ei nu M-au ascultat, n-au luat aminte; şi-au înţepenit gâtul şi au făcut mai rău decât părinţii lor.

Yet they did not listen to me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck. They did worse than their fathers.

Amikor elmondod nekik mindezeket a szavakat, nem hallgatnak rád; ha kiáltasz nekik, nem felelnek neked.

Ha elmondod nékik mind e szavakat, és nem hallgatnak reád, ha kiáltasz nékik, és nem felelnek néked:

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

Şi chiar dacă le vei spune toate aceste lucruri, tot nu te vor asculta; şi dacă vei striga la ei, nu-ţi vor răspunde.

“So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall call to them, but they will not answer you.

Akkor ezt mondd nekik: Ez az a nép, amely nem hallgatott Istenének, az ÚRnak a szavára, és föl sem vette fenyítését; elveszett a hűség, kiveszett a szájukból!

Akkor ezt mondd nékik: Az a nép ez, a mely nem hallgat az Úrnak, az ő Istenének szavára, sem fenyítését fel nem veszi; elveszett a hűség; kiszaggattatott az ő szájokból.

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

De aceea spune-le: „Acesta este poporul care n-ascultă glasul Domnului Dumnezeului său şi care nu vrea să ia învăţătură; s-a dus adevărul, a fugit din gura lor.” –

And you shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the LORD their God, and did not accept discipline; truth has perished; it is cut off from their lips.

Nyírd le hajadat és dobd el, kezdj gyászénekbe a hegytetőn, mert megvetette és elhagyta az ÚR ezt a nemzedéket, és haragszik rá.

Nyírd le hajadat és vesd el, és kezdj a hegyeken gyászéneket, mert útálja az Úr és elhagyja a nemzetséget, a melyre haragszik.

Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

Acum, tunde-ţi părul, Ierusalime, şi aruncă-l departe; suie-te pe înălţimi şi fă o cântare de jale! Căci Domnul leapădă şi îndepărtează neamul de oameni care I-a aţâţat urgia.

“‘Cut off your hair and cast it away; raise a lamentation on the bare heights, for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.’

Mert gonoszságot műveltek előttem Júda fiai – ezt mondja az ÚR. Utálatosságaikat abba a házba állították, amely az én nevemet viseli, és tisztátalanná tették azt.

Mert gonoszt műveltek előttem Júdának fiai, azt mondja az Úr; útálatosságaikat bevitték abba a házba, a mely az én nevemről neveztetik, hogy megfertőztessék azt.

For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

Căci copiii lui Iuda au făcut ce este rău înaintea Mea, zice Domnul; şi-au aşezat urâciunile lor în Casa peste care este chemat Numele Meu ca s-o spurce.

“For the sons of Judah have done evil in my sight, declares the LORD. They have set their detestable things in the house that is called by my name, to defile it.

Fölépítették a Tófet magaslatait a Ben-Hinnóm völgyében, hogy tűzben égessék el fiaikat és leányaikat, amit nem parancsoltam, és ami gondolatomban sem volt.

És felépítették a Tófet magaslatait, a mely a Ben-Hinnom völgyében van, hogy megégessék fiaikat és leányaikat tűzben, a mit nem parancsoltam, és a mi gondolatomban sem volt.

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Au zidit şi locuri înalte la Tofet, în valea Ben-Hinom, ca să-şi ardă în foc pe fiii şi fiicele lor: lucru pe care Eu nu-l poruncisem şi nici nu-Mi trecuse prin minte.

And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into my mind.

Azért íme, eljönnek majd a napok – ezt mondja az ÚR –, amikor nem beszélnek többé a Tófetről, sem a Ben-Hinnóm völgyéről, hanem az öldöklés völgyéről, mivel a Tófetben fognak temetkezni, mert másutt nem lesz hely.

Azért ímé eljőnek a napok, azt mondja az Úr, a mikor nem beszélnek többé a Tófetről, sem a Ben-Hinnom völgyéről, hanem az öldöklés völgyéről; [és] temetkezni fognak Tófetben, és hely sem lesz elég.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

De aceea iată, vin zile, zice Domnul, când nu se va mai zice Tofet şi valea Ben-Hinom, ci se va zice Valea Măcelului şi se vor îngropa morţii la Tofet din lipsă de loc.

Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when it will no more be called Topheth, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Topheth, because there is no room elsewhere.

E nép tetemei az ég madarainak és a mezei állatoknak az eledelévé lesznek, és nem lesz, aki elriassza azokat!

És e nép holtteste az ég madarainak és a mezei barmoknak lesz eledelökké, és nem lesz, a ki elriassza [azokat!]

And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

Trupurile moarte ale acestui popor vor fi hrana păsărilor cerului şi a fiarelor pământului; şi nimeni nu le va speria.

And the dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the air, and for the beasts of the earth, and none will frighten them away.

Megszüntetem Júda városaiban és Jeruzsálem utcáin a vigasság és öröm hangját, a vőlegény és a menyasszony hangját, mert elpusztul a föld.

És megszüntetem Júda városaiban és Jeruzsálem utczáin az örömnek szavát és a vígasságnak szavát, a vőlegény szavát és a menyasszony szavát; mert elpusztul a föld!

Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

Voi face astfel să înceteze în cetăţile lui Iuda şi pe uliţele Ierusalimului strigătele de bucurie şi strigătele de veselie, cântecele mirelui şi cântecele miresei, căci ţara va ajunge un pustiu!

And I will silence in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, for the land shall become a waste.
