Jójákimnak, Jósiás fiának, Júda királyának a negyedik esztendejében így szólt az ÚR Jeremiáshoz, és ezt mondta:

És Jojákimnak, a Jósiás fiának, Júda királyának negyedik esztendejében is szóla az Úr Jeremiásnak, mondván:

And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

În al patrulea an al lui Ioiachim, fiul lui Iosia, împăratul lui Iuda, următorul cuvânt a fost rostit către Ieremia din partea Domnului:

In the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD:

Végy elő egy irattekercset, és írd föl rá mindazokat a szavakat, amelyeket én mondtam neked Izráelről, Júdáról és minden nemzetről attól a naptól fogva, amelyen szólni kezdtem hozzád, Jósiás ideje óta mind e mai napig.

Végy elő egy könyvet, és mind írd belé a szókat, a miket én szóltam néked az Izráel és a Júda ellen és minden nemzet ellen, a naptól fogva, a melyen szóltam néked a Jósiás ideje óta mind e napig.

Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

„Ia un sul de carte şi scrie în ea toate cuvintele pe care ţi le-am spus cu privire la Israel şi cu privire la Iuda, şi cu privire la toate neamurile, din ziua când ţi-am vorbit pe vremea lui Iosia până în ziua de azi!

“Take a scroll and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and Judah and all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah until today.

Hátha meghallja Júda háza, hogy milyen veszedelmet szándékozom neki szerezni, és megtér mindenki a gonosz útjáról, én pedig megbocsátom bűnüket és vétküket.

Hátha meghallja a Júda háza mindazokat a veszedelmeket, a melyeket én néki szerezni szándékozom, hogy kiki megtérjen az ő gonosz útáról, és megbocsássam az ő bűnöket és vétköket.

It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

Poate că dacă va auzi casa lui Iuda tot răul pe care am de gând să i-l fac, se vor întoarce fiecare de la calea lor cea rea, şi le voi ierta astfel nelegiuirea şi păcatul.”

It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the disaster that I intend to do to them, so that every one may turn from his evil way, and that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.”

Ekkor előhívta Jeremiás Bárúkot, Nérijjá fiát, Bárúk pedig leírta Jeremiás diktálása után az irattekercsre mindazokat a szavakat, amelyeket az ÚR mondott neki.

És előhívá Jeremiás Bárukot, a Néria fiát, és megírá Báruk a Jeremiás szája után a könyvbe mindama szókat, a melyeket az Úr szólott vala néki.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.

Ieremia a chemat pe Baruc, fiul lui Neriia; şi Baruc a scris într-o carte, după cum spunea Ieremia, toate cuvintele pe care le spusese lui Ieremia, Domnul.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD that he had spoken to him.

És ezt parancsolta Jeremiás Bárúknak: Én fogoly vagyok, nem mehetek be az ÚR házába.

És parancsola Jeremiás Báruknak, mondván: Én fogoly vagyok, nem mehetek be az Úr házába.

And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:

Apoi Ieremia a dat următoarea poruncă lui Baruc: „Eu sunt închis şi nu pot să merg la Casa Domnului.

And Jeremiah ordered Baruch, saying, “I am banned from going to the house of the LORD,

Azért te menj be, és az ÚR házában, a böjti napon olvasd föl az ÚR szavait a nép füle hallatára az irattekercsről, amelyet diktálásom után írtál. Olvasd föl egész Júda előtt, akik eljöttek városaikból!

Azért te menj be, és a könyvből, a melyet az én számból írtál, olvasd el az Úrnak szavait a népnek hallatára az Úrnak házában bőjti napon, és az egész Júdának hallatára, a kik felgyülnek az ő városaikból, olvasd el nékik.

Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD's house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

De aceea, du-te tu însuţi şi citeşte din carte ce ai scris în ea după spusele mele, şi anume cuvintele Domnului, citeşte-le în auzul poporului, în Casa Domnului, în ziua postului: să le citeşti şi în auzul tuturor acelora din Iuda care vor veni din cetăţile lor.

so you are to go, and on a day of fasting in the hearing of all the people in the LORD’s house you shall read the words of the LORD from the scroll that you have written at my dictation. You shall read them also in the hearing of all the men of Judah who come out of their cities.

Hátha az ÚR elé száll könyörgésük, és mindenki megtér gonosz útjáról, mert nagy az ÚR haragja és fölháborodása, amellyel szólt az ÚR e nép ellen.

Hátha az Úr elé száll könyörgésük, és mindenki megtér az ő gonosz útáról, mert nagy az Úr haragja és felháborodása, a melylyel szólott az Úr e nép ellen!

It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.

Poate că se vor smeri cu rugăciuni înaintea Domnului şi se vor întoarce fiecare de la calea sa cea rea. Căci mare este mânia şi urgia cu care a ameninţat Domnul pe poporul acesta!”

It may be that their plea for mercy will come before the LORD, and that every one will turn from his evil way, for great is the anger and wrath that the LORD has pronounced against this people.”

Bárúk pedig, Nérijjá fia, teljesen úgy cselekedett, ahogyan Jeremiás próféta megparancsolta neki: fölolvasta az irattekercsről az ÚR szavát az ÚR házában.

Báruk pedig, a Néria fia, mind a szerint cselekedék, a mint néki Jeremiás próféta megparancsolta vala, elolvasván a könyvből az Úrnak szavát, az Úrnak házában.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD's house.

Baruc, fiul lui Neriia, a făcut tot ce-i poruncise prorocul Ieremia şi a citit din carte cuvintele Domnului, în Casa Domnului.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did all that Jeremiah the prophet ordered him about reading from the scroll the words of the LORD in the LORD’s house.

Jójákimnak, Jósiás fiának, Júda királyának az ötödik esztendejében, a kilencedik hónapban böjtre hívták föl az ÚR elé egész Jeruzsálem népét meg az egész népet, amely Júda városaiból jött föl Jeruzsálembe.

És Jojákimnak a Jósiás fiának, Júda királyának ötödik esztendejében, a kilenczedik hónapban bőjtre hívták fel az Úr elé az egész Jeruzsálem népét és az egész népet, a mely Júda városaiból jött vala fel Jeruzsálembe.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.

În al cincilea an al lui Ioiachim, fiul lui Iosia, împăratul lui Iuda, în luna a noua, au chemat la un post înaintea Domnului pe tot poporul Ierusalimului şi pe tot poporul venit din cetăţile lui Iuda la Ierusalim.

In the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem proclaimed a fast before the LORD.

Akkor fölolvasta Bárúk az irattekercsről Jeremiás beszédeit az ÚR házában, Gemarjának, Sáfán kancellár fiának a kamrájában, a fölső udvarban, az ÚR háza új kapujának bejáratánál az egész nép füle hallatára.

És elolvasá Báruk a könyvből Jeremiás beszédeit az Úr házában Gamáriának, az írástudó Sáfán fiának szobájában a felső pitvarban, az Úr háza új kapujának nyílásában az egész nép hallatára.

Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house, in the ears of all the people.

Atunci Baruc a citit din carte cuvintele lui Ieremia în auzul întregului popor, în Casa Domnului, în chilia lui Ghemaria, fiul lui Şafan, logofătul, în curtea de sus, la intrarea porţii celei noi a Casei Domnului.

Then, in the hearing of all the people, Baruch read the words of Jeremiah from the scroll, in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the secretary, which was in the upper court, at the entry of the New Gate of the LORD’s house.

Amikor meghallgatta Míkájehú, Gemarjá fia, Sáfán unokája az ÚR minden beszédét az irattekercsből,

És hallá Mikeás, Gamáriának, a Sáfán fiának fia az Úrnak minden beszédét a könyvből.

When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD,

Însă Mica, fiul lui Ghemaria, fiul lui Şafan, auzind toate cuvintele Domnului cuprinse în carte,

When Micaiah the son of Gemariah, son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the LORD from the scroll,

lement a király palotájába, a kancellár szobájába, és íme, ott ült az összes főember: Elisámá, a kancellár, Delájá, Semajá fia, Elnátán, Akbór fia, Gemarjá, Sáfán fia és Cidkijjá, Hananjá fia meg a többi főember is.

És leméne a király házába az írástudó szobájába, és ímé, ott ülnek vala mind a főemberek, Elisáma, az írástudó, és Dalajás, Semájának fia, és Elnátán, Akbórnak fia, és Gamária, Sáfánnak fia, és Sedékiás, Hanániásnak fia, és a többi főember is.

Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.

s-a coborât la casa împăratului, în odaia de scris a logofătului, unde stăteau toate căpeteniile, logofătul Elişama, Delaia, fiul lui Şemaia, Elnatan, fiul lui Acbor, Ghemaria, fiul lui Şafan, Zedechia, fiul lui Hanania, şi toate celelalte căpetenii.

he went down to the king’s house, into the secretary’s chamber, and all the officials were sitting there: Elishama the secretary, Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, Elnathan the son of Achbor, Gemariah the son of Shaphan, Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the officials.

Míkájehú elmondta nekik mindazokat, amiket hallott, amikor Bárúk fölolvasta az irattekercset a nép füle hallatára.

És elbeszélé nékik Mikeás mindazokat, a melyeket hallott vala a könyvből, mikor olvasá Báruk a nép hallatára.

Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.

Şi Mica le-a spus toate cuvintele pe care le auzise când citea Baruc în carte, în auzul poporului.

And Micaiah told them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the scroll in the hearing of the people.

Azért elküldték a főemberek Bárúkhoz Jehúdit, aki Netanjá fia volt, aki Selemjá fia volt, aki pedig Kúsi fia volt, és ő ezt mondta: Vedd a kezedbe az irattekercset, amelyet fölolvastál a nép füle hallatára, és jöjj! És kezébe vette Bárúk, Nérijjá fia az irattekercset, és elment hozzájuk.

Azért elküldék mind a főemberek Jéhudit, a ki Natániának fia vala, a ki Selémiának fia vala, a ki Kusinak fia vala, Bárukhoz, mondván: A könyvet, a melyből olvastál a nép hallatára, vedd kezedbe, és jövel. És kezébe vevé Báruk, a Néria fia a könyvet, és elméne hozzájok.

Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.

Atunci toate căpeteniile au trimis la Baruc pe Iehudi, fiul lui Netania, fiul lui Şelemia, fiul lui Cuşi, să-i spună: „Ia în mână cartea din care ai citit în auzul poporului şi vino!” Baruc, fiul lui Neriia, a luat cartea în mână şi s-a dus la ei.

Then all the officials sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah, son of Cushi, to say to Baruch, “Take in your hand the scroll that you read in the hearing of the people, and come.” So Baruch the son of Neriah took the scroll in his hand and came to them.

Akkor ezt mondták neki: Ülj le, és olvasd föl a fülünk hallatára! Bárúk tehát fölolvasta azt a fülük hallatára.

És mondának néki: Ülj le csak és olvasd azt a mi fülünk hallatára, és elolvasá Báruk fülök hallatára.

And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.

Ei i-au zis: „Şezi şi citeşte-o în auzul nostru.” Astfel Baruc a citit-o în auzul lor.

And they said to him, “Sit down and read it.” So Baruch read it to them.

Amikor meghallották mindezeket a szavakat, megrettenve tekintettek egymásra, és azt mondták Bárúknak: Bizony jelentenünk kell mindezeket a beszédeket a királynak!

És mikor meghallák mind e szókat, megrettenve [tekintettek] egymásra, és mondának Báruknak: Bizony megjelentjük mind e szókat a királynak.

Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.

Când au auzit ei toate cuvintele, s-au uitat cu groază unii la alţii şi au zis lui Baruc: „Vom spune împăratului toate cuvintele acestea.”

When they heard all the words, they turned one to another in fear. And they said to Baruch, “We must report all these words to the king.”

Majd megkérdezték Bárúkot: Mondd el nekünk, hogyan is írtad le mindezeket a szájából elhangzó szavakat!

Bárukot pedig kérdezék, mondván: Jelentsd meg csak nékünk, mimódon írtad mind e szókat az ő szájából?

And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth?

Şi au mai pus lui Baruc următoarea întrebare: „Spune-ne cum ai scris toate cuvintele acestea după spusele lui!”

Then they asked Baruch, “Tell us, please, how did you write all these words? Was it at his dictation?”

Bárúk ezt mondta nekik: Ő diktálta nekem mindezeket a szavakat, én pedig leírtam erre az irattekercsre tintával.

És monda nékik Báruk: Szájával mondotta nékem mind e szókat, én pedig beírtam e könyvbe tintával.

Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.

Baruc le-a răspuns: „El îmi spunea cu gura lui toate cuvintele acestea, şi eu le-am scris în cartea aceasta cu cerneală.”

Baruch answered them, “He dictated all these words to me, while I wrote them with ink on the scroll.”

Ekkor a főemberek azt mondták Bárúknak: Menj, rejtőzz el, te is, és Jeremiás is, és ne tudja senki, hogy hol vagytok.

És mondának a főemberek Báruknak: Menj el, rejtőzzél el te és Jeremiás, és ne tudja senki, hol vagytok.

Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be.

Căpeteniile au zis lui Baruc: „Du-te de te ascunde, tu şi Ieremia, ca să nu ştie nimeni unde sunteţi.”

Then the officials said to Baruch, “Go and hide, you and Jeremiah, and let no one know where you are.”

És elmentek a királyhoz az udvarba, miután eltették az irattekercset Elisámá kancellár szobájába, és elmondták mindezeket a király füle hallatára.

És elmenének a királyhoz a pitvarba (és letevék a könyvet az írástudó Elisámának szobájában) és elmondák mind e szókat a király hallatára.

And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.

Ei s-au dus apoi la împăratul în curte, lăsând cartea în odaia de scris a logofătului Elişama, şi au spus toate cuvintele din ea în auzul împăratului.

So they went into the court to the king, having put the scroll in the chamber of Elishama the secretary, and they reported all the words to the king.

Akkor elküldte a király Jehúdit, hogy hozza el az irattekercset; ő el is hozta Elisámá kancellár szobájából, és fölolvasta Jehúdi a király füle hallatára és azoknak a főembereknek a füle hallatára, akik a király előtt álltak.

És elküldé a király Jéhudit, hogy hozza el a könyvet; azért elhozá azt az írástudó Elisámának szobájából, és elolvasá azt Jéhudi a király hallatára és mindama főemberek hallatára, a kik a király előtt állnak vala.

So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.

Împăratul a trimis pe Iehudi să ia cartea. Iehudi a luat-o din odaia logofătului Elişama şi a citit-o în auzul împăratului şi în auzul tuturor căpeteniilor care stăteau împrejurul împăratului.

Then the king sent Jehudi to get the scroll, and he took it from the chamber of Elishama the secretary. And Jehudi read it to the king and all the officials who stood beside the king.

A király pedig akkor a téli palotában ült a kilencedik hónapban, és tűz égett előtte a kandallóban.

A király pedig a téli házban ül vala a kilenczedik hónapban, és a tűz ég vala előtte.

Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.

Împăratul şedea în casa de iarnă – căci era în luna a noua – şi înaintea lui era un foc de cărbuni aprinşi.

It was the ninth month, and the king was sitting in the winter house, and there was a fire burning in the fire pot before him.

Amikor Jehúdi három vagy négy hasábot elolvasott, levágta azt a kancellár késével, és a kandallóban lévő tűzbe hajította, míg csak az egész irattekercs el nem égett a kandallóban lévő tűzben.

És mikor Jéhudi három vagy négy levelet elolvasott vala, elmetélé azt az írástudónak késével, és a tűzbe hajítá, a mely a tűzhelyen vala, mígnem az egész könyv megége a tűzben, a mely a tűzhelyen vala.

And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

După ce Iehudi a citit trei sau patru foi, împăratul a tăiat cartea cu briceagul logofătului şi a aruncat-o în jăraticul de cărbuni, unde a fost arsă de tot.

As Jehudi read three or four columns, the king would cut them off with a knife and throw them into the fire in the fire pot, until the entire scroll was consumed in the fire that was in the fire pot.

Nem rettentek meg, és ruhájukat sem szaggatták meg, sem a király, sem a szolgái, akik hallották mindezeket a beszédeket.

Nem rettentek meg, sem ruhájokat nem szaggatták meg a király és valamennyi szolgája, a kik hallják vala mind e szókat.

Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.

Împăratul şi toţi slujitorii lui care au auzit toate cuvintele acelea nu s-au înspăimântat şi nu şi-au sfâşiat hainele.

Yet neither the king nor any of his servants who heard all these words was afraid, nor did they tear their garments.

Bár Elnátán, Delájá és Gemarjá kérték a királyt, hogy ne égesse el az irattekercset, ő mégsem hallgatott rájuk.

Sőt még Elnátán is és Delája és Gamária kérék a királyt, hogy a könyvet ne égesse meg, de nem hallgata rájok.

Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.

Elnatan, Delaia şi Ghemaria stăruiseră de împărat să nu ardă cartea; dar el nu i-a ascultat.

Even when Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah urged the king not to burn the scroll, he would not listen to them.

Hanem meghagyta a király Jerahmeél királyfinak, Szerájának, Azriél fiának és Selemjának, Abdeél fiának, hogy fogják el Bárúkot, az írástudót és Jeremiás prófétát; de az ÚR elrejtette őket.

Hanem meghagyá a király Jerákmeélnek, a Hammélek fiának, és Sérajának, az Azriel fiának, és Selémiának, az Abdéel fiának, hogy fogják el Bárukot, az írástudót, és Jeremiás prófétát, de az Úr elrejté őket.

But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.

Ci împăratul a poruncit lui Ierahmeel, fiul împăratului, lui Seraia, fiul lui Azriel, şi lui Şelemia, fiul lui Abdeel, să pună mâna pe logofătul Baruc şi pe prorocul Ieremia. Dar Domnul i-a ascuns.

And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king’s son and Seraiah the son of Azriel and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel to seize Baruch the secretary and Jeremiah the prophet, but the LORD hid them.

Majd azt mondta az ÚR Jeremiásnak, miután a király elégette az irattekercset és a beszédeket, amelyeket Bárúk Jeremiás diktálása után írt le:

Szóla pedig az Úr Jeremiásnak, miután a király megégette vala a könyvet és a beszédeket, a melyeket Báruk a Jeremiás szájából írt vala, mondván:

Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,

După ce a ars împăratul cartea care cuprindea cuvintele pe care le scrisese Baruc după spusele lui Ieremia, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit astfel lui Ieremia:

Now after the king had burned the scroll with the words that Baruch wrote at Jeremiah’s dictation, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:

Térj vissza, végy magadhoz egy másik irattekercset, és írd rá az előbbi szavakat mind, amelyek az előző irattekercsen voltak, és amelyet Jójákim, Júda királya elégetett.

Térj vissza, végy magadnak más könyvet, és írd bele mind az elébbi szókat, a melyek az elébbi könyvben valának, a melyet Jojákim, a Júda királya megégetett.

Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.

„Ia din nou o altă carte şi scrie în ea toate cuvintele care erau în cea dintâi carte pe care a ars-o Ioiachim, împăratul lui Iuda.

“Take another scroll and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned.

És ezt mondd Jójákimnak, Júda királyának: Azt mondja az ÚR: Elégetted az irattekercset, és azt mondtad: Miért írtál rá ilyen szavakat, hogy bizonyosan eljön a babilóni király, és elveszíti ezt az országot, és kipusztít belőle embert és állatot?

És Jojákimnak, a Júda királyának mondd meg: Ezt mondja az Úr: Te égetted meg a könyvet, mondván: Miért írtál ilyen szókat bele: Bizonyosan eljő a babiloni király, és elveszti e földet, és kipusztít belőle embert és állatot?

And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?

And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, ‘Thus says the LORD, You have burned this scroll, saying, “Why have you written in it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will cut off from it man and beast?”

Azért így szól az ÚR Jójákim, Júda királya felől: Nem lesz utóda, aki Dávid trónjára üljön, és holttestét kidobják a nappali hőségre és az éjszakai fagyra.

Azért ezt mondja az Úr Jojákim felől, a Júda királya felől: Nem lesz néki, a ki a Dávid székébe üljön, és az ő holtteste elvettetik nappal a hévre, éjszaka pedig a dérre.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul despre Ioiachim, împăratul lui Iuda: „Niciunul din ai lui nu va şedea pe scaunul de domnie al lui David. Trupul lui mort va fi lăsat la căldură ziua, şi la frig, noaptea.

Therefore thus says the LORD concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: He shall have none to sit on the throne of David, and his dead body shall be cast out to the heat by day and the frost by night.

Megbüntetem őt, utódját és szolgáit bűneikért, és rájuk bocsátom meg a jeruzsálemi polgárokra és Júda férfiaira mindazt a veszedelmet, amelyről szóltam nekik, de nem hallgattak meg.

És megbüntetem őt, és az ő magvát, és az ő szolgáit az ő bűneikért, és rájok bocsátom és a Jeruzsálembeli polgárokra és Júdának férfiaira mind azt a veszedelmet, a melyről szólottam nékik, de nem hallgattak meg.

And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not.

Îl voi pedepsi, pe el, sămânţa lui şi pe slujitorii lui, pentru nelegiuirea lor şi voi aduce peste ei, peste locuitorii Ierusalimului şi peste oamenii lui Iuda toate nenorocirile cu care i-am ameninţat, fără ca ei să fi vrut să Mă asculte!”

And I will punish him and his offspring and his servants for their iniquity. I will bring upon them and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem and upon the people of Judah all the disaster that I have pronounced against them, but they would not hear.’”

Jeremiás azért másik irattekercset vett, és Bárúknak, az írástudó Nérijjá fiának adta, aki fölírta arra Jeremiás diktálása után annak az irattekercsnek minden szavát, amelyet Jójákim, Júda királya tűzben égetett el. Sőt még sok más hasonló beszédet is csatoltak hozzá.

Azért más könyvet vőn Jeremiás, és adá azt Báruknak, az írástudó Néria fiának, és beírá abba a Jeremiásnak szájából minden szavát annak a könyvnek, a melyet Jojákim, a Júda királya megégetett vala a tűzben. És több dolgot is írának bele, hasonlókat az [elébbiekhez.]

Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.

Ieremia a luat o altă carte şi a dat-o lui Baruc, fiul lui Neriia, logofătul. Baruc a scris în ea, după spusele lui Ieremia, toate cuvintele din cartea pe care o arsese în foc Ioiachim, împăratul lui Iuda. Multe alte cuvinte de felul acesta au mai fost adăugate la ea.

Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote on it at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.
