Azután ezt mondta: Ha valaki elbocsátja a feleségét, és az eltávozik tőle, és más férfié lesz, vajon visszatérhet-e még hozzá? Nem lenne-e az az ország förtelmesen megfertőztetve? Te pedig sok szeretővel paráználkodtál, és visszajönnél hozzám? – mondja az ÚR.

Nos hát! Ha elbocsátja valaki az ő feleségét, és ez eltávozik tőle és más férfiúé lesz: vajjon visszamehet-é még [a férfi] ő hozzá? Nem lenne-é az a föld fertelmesen megfertőztetve? Te pedig sok szeretővel paráználkodtál, és visszajönnél hozzám? mondja az Úr.

They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.

El zice: „Când se desparte un bărbat de nevasta sa, pe care o părăseşte, şi ea ajunge nevasta altuia, se mai întoarce bărbatul acesta la ea? N-ar fi chiar şi ţara aceea spurcată? Şi tu ai curvit cu mulţi ibovnici, şi să te întorci iarăşi la Mine? – zice Domnul.

“If a man divorces his wife and she goes from him and becomes another man’s wife, will he return to her? Would not that land be greatly polluted? You have played the whore with many lovers; and would you return to me? declares the LORD.

Emeld föl szemedet a magaslatokra, és lásd meg: hol nem szeplősítettek meg téged? Az utak mellett vártál rájuk, mint az arab a pusztában, és beszennyezted a földet paráznaságoddal és gonoszságoddal.

Emeld fel szemeidet a magaslatokra, és lásd meg: hol nem szeplősítettek meg téged? Az útakon vártál reájok, mint az arab a pusztában, és megfertőztetted a földet paráznaságaiddal és gonoszságoddal.

Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

Ridică-ţi ochii spre înălţimi şi priveşte: unde n-ai curvit? Te ţineai la drumuri ca arabul în pustiu şi ai spurcat ţara prin curviile tale şi cu răutatea ta!

Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been ravished? By the waysides you have sat awaiting lovers like an Arab in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your vile whoredom.

Noha visszatartottam a korai záporokat, és késői eső sem volt, mégis olyan lett a homlokod, mint egy parázna asszonyé, nem akartál szégyenkezni.

Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

Măcar că ploile au fost oprite, şi ploaia de primăvară a lipsit, totuşi tu ţi-ai păstrat fruntea de curvă şi n-ai vrut să ai ruşine!

Therefore the showers have been withheld, and the spring rain has not come; yet you have the forehead of a whore; you refuse to be ashamed.

Nemde most így kiáltasz nekem: Atyám! Ifjúkorom óta vezetőm vagy.

Nemde mostantól így kiáltasz nékem: Atyám! Ifjúságomnak te vagy vezére.

Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?

Acum, nu-i aşa?, strigi la Mine: „Tată! Tu ai fost Prietenul tinereţii mele!?

Have you not just now called to me, ‘My father, you are the friend of my youth—

Vajon örökké haragszik, mindvégig bosszankodik-e? Íme, ezt mondod, de ahogy csak tőled telik, gonoszságot cselekszel.

Mindörökké haragszik-é, mindvégig bosszankodik-é? Ímé, ezt mondod, de cselekszed a gonoszságokat, a mint tőled telik.

Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.

Îşi va ţine El mânia pe vecie? O va păstra El întotdeauna?” Iată, aşa ai vorbit, şi totuşi ai făcut lucruri nelegiuite cât ai putut!”

will he be angry forever, will he be indignant to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken, but you have done all the evil that you could.”

Ezt mondta nekem az ÚR Jósiás király napjaiban: Láttad-e, mit cselekedett az elpártolt Izráel? Elment minden magas hegyre és minden zöldellő fa alá, és ott paráználkodott.

És monda az Úr nékem Jósiás király napjaiban: Láttad-é, a mit az elpártolt Izráel cselekedett? Elment ő minden magas hegyre és minden zöldelő fa alá, és ott paráználkodott.

The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

Domnul mi-a zis, pe vremea împăratului Iosia: „Ai văzut ce a făcut necredincioasa Israel? S-a dus pe orice munte înalt şi sub orice copac verde şi a curvit acolo.

The LORD said to me in the days of King Josiah: “Have you seen what she did, that faithless one, Israel, how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there played the whore?

And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

And I thought, ‘After she has done all this she will return to me,’ but she did not return, and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

Noha paráznasága miatt elbocsátottam a hűtlen Izráelt, és válólevelet adtam neki, láttam, hogy mégsem félt hitszegő húga, Júda, hanem elment, és ő is paráználkodott.

And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, I had sent her away with a decree of divorce. Yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she too went and played the whore.

Így történt, hogy könnyelmű paráznaságával beszennyezte a földet, mert kővel is, fával is paráználkodott.

És lőn, hogy az ő paráznaságának hírével megfertőztette a földet; mert kővel és fával paráználkodott.

And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

Şi astfel, prin necurăţia ei strigătoare, Israel a spurcat ţara, a preacurvit cu piatra şi lemnul.

Because she took her whoredom lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.

Mindezek ellenére sem tért vissza hozzám teljes szívével hitszegő húga, Júda, hanem csak képmutató módjára – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És mindez után sem tért vissza hozzám az ő hitszegő húga, a Júda, az ő szíve teljességével, hanem csak képmutatással, azt mondja az Úr.

And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

Cu toate acestea vicleana Iuda, sora ei, nu s-a întors la Mine din toată inima ei, ci cu prefăcătorie, zice Domnul.”

Yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to me with her whole heart, but in pretense, declares the LORD.”

Azt mondta nekem az ÚR: Igazabb lelkű az elpártolt Izráel, mint a hitszegő Júda.

És monda nékem az Úr: Igazabb lelkű az elpártolt Izráel, mint a hitszegő Júda.

And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

Domnul mi-a zis: „Necredincioasa Israel pare nevinovată faţă de vicleana Iuda.

And the LORD said to me, “Faithless Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.

Menj el, kiáltsd e szavakat észak felé, ezt mondjad: Térj vissza, elpártolt Izráel – így szól az ÚR –, akkor nem bocsátom rátok haragomat, mert kegyelmes vagyok – ezt mondja az ÚR –; nem haragszom örökké.

Menj el, és kiáltsd e szókat észak felé, és mondjad: Térj vissza, elpártolt Izráel, ezt mondja az Úr, [és] nem bocsátom reátok haragomat, mert kegyelmes vagyok én, ezt mondja az Úr, nem haragszom mindörökké.

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

Du-te de strigă aceste cuvinte spre miazănoapte şi zi: „Întoarce-te, necredincioasa Israel, zice Domnul. Nu voi arunca o privire întunecoasă împotriva voastră, căci sunt milostiv, zice Domnul, şi nu ţin mânie pe vecie.

Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, “‘Return, faithless Israel, declares the LORD. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the LORD; I will not be angry forever.

Csak ismerd el bűnödet, hogy hűtlenné lettél Istenedhez, az ÚRhoz, és szerteszét futottál útjaidon az idegenekhez, mindenféle zöldellő fa alá, de az én szavamra nem hallgattatok – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Csakhogy ismerd el a te hamisságodat, hogy hűtelenné lettél az Úrhoz, a te Istenedhez, és szertefutottál útaidon az idegenekhez mindenféle zöldelő fa alá, és az én szómra nem hallgattatok, ezt mondja az Úr.

Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

Recunoaşte-ţi numai nelegiuirea, recunoaşte că ai fost necredincioasă Domnului Dumnezeului tău, că ai alergat încoace şi încolo la dumnezei străini, sub orice copac verde, şi că n-ai ascultat glasul Meu, zice Domnul.

Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the LORD your God and scattered your favors among foreigners under every green tree, and that you have not obeyed my voice, declares the LORD.

Térjetek meg, hűtlen fiak – így szól az ÚR –, mert férjetekké lettem, és magamhoz veszlek titeket: egyet egy városból, kettőt egy nemzetségből; és fölviszlek titeket a Sionra!

Térjetek meg, szófogadatlan fiak, azt mondja az Úr, mert én férjetekké lettem néktek, és magamhoz veszlek titeket, egyet egy városból, kettőt egy nemzetségből, és beviszlek titeket Sionba.

Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

Întoarceţi-vă, copii răzvrătiţi, zice Domnul; căci Eu sunt Stăpânul vostru, Eu vă voi lua, pe unul dintr-o cetate, pe doi dintr-o familie, şi vă voi aduce înapoi în Sion.

Return, O faithless children, declares the LORD; for I am your master; I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

Szívem szerint való pásztorokat adok nektek, akik okosan és értelemmel legeltetnek titeket.

És adok néktek szívem szerint való pásztorokat, és legeltetnek tudománynyal és értelemmel.

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Vă voi da păstori după inima Mea, şi vă vor paşte cu pricepere şi cu înţelepciune.

“‘And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Ha majd megsokasodtok és megszaporodtok a földön azokban a napokban – ezt mondja az ÚR –, nem mondják többé: Az ÚR szövetségládája! Szívére sem veszi senki, nem gondolnak és nem is ügyelnek rá, és nem készítik el újra.

És ha majd megsokasodtok és megszaporodtok a földön azokban a napokban, azt mondja az Úr, nem mondják többé: Az Úr szövetségének ládája! Szívére se veszi senki, rá se gondolnak, meg sem látogatják, és nem készítik meg újra.

And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

Când vă veţi înmulţi şi veţi creşte în ţară, în zilele acelea, zice Domnul, nu se va mai vorbi de chivotul legământului Domnului şi nu-i va mai veni nimănui în gând, nu-şi vor mai aduce aminte de el, nu-i vor mai simţi lipsa şi nici nu vor mai face altul.

And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days, declares the LORD, they shall no more say, “The ark of the covenant of the LORD.” It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again.

Abban az időben Jeruzsálemet hívják majd az ÚR trónjának. Minden nemzet odagyülekezik Jeruzsálembe az ÚR nevéért, és nem követik többé gonosz szívük makacsságát.

Abban az időben Jeruzsálemet hívják majd az Úr királyiszékének, és minden nemzet oda gyülekezik az Úr nevéért Jeruzsálembe, és nem követik többé gonosz szívöknek makacsságát.

At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

În vremea aceea, Ierusalimul se va numi „Scaunul de domnie al Domnului”; toate neamurile se vor strânge la Ierusalim în Numele Domnului şi nu vor mai urma pornirile inimii lor rele.

At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the LORD, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the LORD in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart.

Azokban a napokban Júda háza Izráel házával tart majd, és együtt mennek be az északi földről arra a földre, amelyet örökségül adtam atyáitoknak.

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

În zilele acelea, casa lui Iuda va umbla cu casa lui Israel şi vor veni împreună din ţara de la miazănoapte în ţara pe care am dat-o în stăpânire părinţilor voştri.

In those days the house of Judah shall join the house of Israel, and together they shall come from the land of the north to the land that I gave your fathers for a heritage.

Azt mondtam ugyanis magamban: Miként tegyelek a fiak közé, és adjam neked a kívánatos földet, a népek seregének drága örökségét? Úgy gondoltam, Atyámnak hívsz majd engem, és nem pártolsz el tőlem!

Azt mondám ugyanis magamban: Miképen tegyelek téged a fiak közé, és adjam néked a kivánatos földet, a pogányok seregének drága örökségét? És azt végezém: Hívj engem atyámnak, és ne pártolj el tőlem!

But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

Eu ziceam: „Cum să te pun printre copiii Mei şi să-ţi dau o ţară plăcută, o moştenire, podoabă între podoabele neamurilor?” Mă gândeam că Mă vei chema: „Tată!” şi nu te vei mai abate de la Mine.

“‘I said, How I would set you among my sons, and give you a pleasant land, a heritage most beautiful of all nations. And I thought you would call me, My Father, and would not turn from following me.

Mégis, ahogyan hitszegővé lesz az asszony társa iránt, úgy lettetek hitszegővé irántam, Izráel háza – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Mindamellett a mint hitszegővé lesz az asszony az ő társa iránt: úgy lettetek hitszegőkké irántam, Izráel háza, azt mondja az Úr.

Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.

Dar, cum este necredincioasă iubitului său o femeie, aşa Mi-aţi fost necredincioşi voi, casa lui Israel, zice Domnul!

Surely, as a treacherous wife leaves her husband, so have you been treacherous to me, O house of Israel, declares the LORD.’”

Hang hallatszik a magaslatokon, Izráel fiainak esdeklő sírása, mert elfordultak útjukon, elfelejtkeztek Istenükről, az ÚRról.

Szó hallatszik a magaslatokon, Izráel fiainak esdeklő sírása, mert elfordították útjokat, elfelejtkeztek az Úrról, az ő Istenökről.

A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.

Un vuiet se aude pe înălţimi: sunt plânsetele şi rugăminţile de iertare ale copiilor lui Israel; căci şi-au sucit calea şi au uitat pe Domnul Dumnezeul lor.

A voice on the bare heights is heard, the weeping and pleading of Israel’s sons because they have perverted their way; they have forgotten the LORD their God.

Térjetek vissza, hűtlen fiak, és én meggyógyítlak elpártolásotokból! Íme, hozzád járulunk, mert te vagy az ÚR, a mi Istenünk!

Térjetek vissza, szófogadatlan fiak, [és] meggyógyítom a ti elpártolástokat! Ímé, mi hozzád járulunk, mert te vagy az Úr, a mi Istenünk!

Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

Întoarceţi-vă, copii răzvrătiţi, şi vă voi ierta abaterile.” – „Iată-ne, venim la Tine, căci Tu eşti Domnul Dumnezeul nostru.

“Return, O faithless sons; I will heal your faithlessness.” “Behold, we come to you, for you are the LORD our God.

Bizony csak hazugság jött a halmokról, zajongás a hegyekről. Bizony az ÚRban, a mi Istenünkben van Izráel szabadulása!

Bizony hiábavaló a halmokról, a hegyekről való zajongás; bizony az Úrban, a mi Istenünkben van Izráel megmaradása!

Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

În adevăr, zadarnic se aşteaptă mântuire de la dealuri şi de la mulţimea munţilor; în adevăr, în Domnul Dumnezeul nostru este mântuirea lui Israel.

Truly the hills are a delusion, the orgies on the mountains. Truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

Ez a gyalázatosság emésztette atyáink szerzeményét gyermekségünk óta: juhaikat, szarvasmarháikat, fiaikat és leányaikat.

És ez a gyalázatosság emésztette a mi atyáink szerzeményét gyermekségünk óta: juhaikat, szarvasmarháikat, fiaikat és leányaikat!

For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

Idolii, dimpotrivă, au mâncat rodul muncii părinţilor noştri, din tinereţea noastră, oile şi boii lor, fiii şi fiicele lor.

“But from our youth the shameful thing has devoured all for which our fathers labored, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

Gyalázatunkban fetrengünk, és elborít minket szégyenünk, mert vétkeztünk az ÚR, a mi Istenünk ellen, mi is, atyáink is; gyermekségünk óta mind e mai napig nem hallgattunk az ÚRnak, Istenünknek a szavára.

Gyalázatunkban heverünk, és elborít minket a mi szégyenünk; mert vétkeztünk az Úr ellen, a mi Istenünk ellen: mi és a mi atyáink gyermekségünk óta mind e mai napig, és nem hallgattunk az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek szavára.

We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.

Să ne culcăm în ruşinea noastră şi să ne învelim cu ocara noastră, căci am păcătuit împotriva Domnului Dumnezeului nostru, noi şi părinţii noştri, din tinereţea noastră şi până în ziua de azi, şi n-am ascultat glasul Domnului Dumnezeului nostru.”

Let us lie down in our shame, and let our dishonor cover us. For we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and we have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.”
