Ekkor az ÚR azt mondta nekem: Ha Mózes és Sámuel állna is előttem, akkor sem hajolna lelkem e néphez. Küldd ki őket arcom elől, menjenek!

És monda az Úr nékem: Ha Mózes és Sámuel állanának is előttem, nem [hajolna] lelkem e néphez; küldd ki az orczám elől, hadd menjenek!

Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

Domnul mi-a zis: „Chiar dacă Moise şi Samuel s-ar înfăţişa înaintea Mea, tot n-aş fi binevoitor faţă de poporul acesta. Izgoneşte-l dinaintea Mea, ducă-se!

Then the LORD said to me, “Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go!

Ha pedig azt kérdik tőled: „Hova menjünk?”, ezt mondd nekik: Így szól az ÚR: Aki halálra való, halálra, aki fegyverre való, fegyverre, aki éhínségre való, éhínségre, és aki fogságra való, fogságra.

Ha pedig ezt mondják néked: Hová menjünk? ezt mondjad nékik: Így szól az Úr: A ki halálra való, halálra; a ki fegyverre való, fegyverre; a ki éhségre való, éhségre, és a ki fogságra való, fogságra.

And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.

Şi dacă-ţi vor zice: „Unde să ne ducem?”, să le răspunzi: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „La moarte, cei sortiţi la moarte, la sabie, cei sortiţi sabiei, la foamete, cei sortiţi foametei, la robie, cei sortiţi robiei!”

And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD: “‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence, and those who are for the sword, to the sword; those who are for famine, to famine, and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’

Mert négyfélével büntetem meg őket – mondja az ÚR –, fegyverrel, hogy gyilkolják, kutyákkal, hogy széttépjék, az ég madaraival és a mezei vadakkal, hogy fölfalják és elpusztítsák őket.

Mert négyfélével támadok reájok, ezt mondja az Úr: Fegyverrel, hogy gyilkoljon, kutyákkal, hogy tépjenek, az ég madaraival és a mezei vadakkal, hogy egyenek és pusztítsanak.

And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.

Căci voi trimite împotriva lor patru feluri de nenorociri, zice Domnul: sabia, ca să-i ucidă, câinii, ca să-i sfâşie, păsările cerului şi fiarele pământului, ca să-i mănânce şi să-i nimicească.

I will appoint over them four kinds of destroyers, declares the LORD: the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, and the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.

Bujdosóvá teszem őket e föld minden országában Manassé miatt, Ezékiásnak, Júda királyának fia miatt, azok miatt, amiket Jeruzsálemben cselekedett.

Bújdosókká teszem őket e földnek minden országában Manasséért, Ezékiásnak, Júda királyának fiáért, azok miatt, a miket ő Jeruzsálemben cselekedett.

And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.

Îi voi face de pomină pentru toate împărăţiile pământului, din pricina lui Manase, fiul lui Ezechia, împăratul lui Iuda, şi pentru tot ce a făcut el în Ierusalim.

And I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth because of what Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, did in Jerusalem.

Vajon ki könyörül meg rajtad, Jeruzsálem, és ki sajnál meg téged? Ki áll meg nálad, hogy megkérdezze, van-e békességed?

Mert ki könyörül meg rajtad Jeruzsálem, és ki vígasztal meg téged, és ki mozdul meg, hogy kérdezze: jól vagy-é?

For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest?

Căci cine să aibă milă de tine, Ierusalime, cine să te plângă? Cine să meargă să te întrebe de sănătate?

“Who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem, or who will grieve for you? Who will turn aside to ask about your welfare?

Elhagytál engem – ezt mondja az ÚR –, másfelé jársz. Ezért kinyújtom kezemet ellened, és elveszítlek téged, belefáradtam a szánakozásba!

Te elhagytál engem, azt mondja az Úr, másfelé jártál; azért kinyújtom kezemet ellened, és elvesztelek téged; belefáradtam a szánakozásba!

Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.

M-ai părăsit, zice Domnul, ai dat înapoi; de aceea Îmi întind mâna împotriva ta şi te nimicesc: sunt sătul de milă.

You have rejected me, declares the LORD; you keep going backward, so I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you— I am weary of relenting.

Szétszórom őket szórólapáttal az ország kapuiban, gyermektelenné teszem, elveszítem népemet, mert nem tértek meg útjaikról.

Elszórom őket szórólapáttal e földnek kapuiban; gyermektelenné teszem, elvesztem az én népemet; nem tértek vissza útaikról.

And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people since they return not from their ways.

Îi vântur cu lopata, la porţile ţării; îi lipsesc de copii, pierd pe poporul Meu, căci nu s-au abătut de la căile lor.

I have winnowed them with a winnowing fork in the gates of the land; I have bereaved them; I have destroyed my people; they did not turn from their ways.

Özvegyei többen lesznek a tenger homokjánál. Pusztítót hozok rájuk, az anyára és az ifjúra délben; nagy hirtelen kétségbeesést és gyötrelmet bocsátok rá.

Özvegyei számosabbak lesznek a tenger fövenyénél; pusztítót viszek reájok, az ifjúság anyjára délben; bocsátok reája nagy hirtelen észvesztést és rettentéseket.

Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.

Văduvele lor sunt mai multe decât boabele de nisip din mare; peste mama tânărului aduc un pustiitor ziua în amiaza mare; fac să cadă deodată peste ea necazul şi groaza.

I have made their widows more in number than the sand of the seas; I have brought against the mothers of young men a destroyer at noonday; I have made anguish and terror fall upon them suddenly.

Eleped, aki hét fiút szült, kileheli lelkét. Lehanyatlik napja, amikor még nappal van, megszégyenül és pironkodik. Aki megmarad, azt ellenségeinek fegyvere elé vetem! – mondja az ÚR.

Elsenyved, a ki hét fiút szűl; kileheli lelkét; lehanyatlik az ő napja, mikor még nappal volna; megszégyenül és pironkodik; a maradékaikat pedig fegyverre vetem az ő ellenségeik előtt, azt mondja az Úr!

She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.

Cea care născuse şapte fii tânjeşte, îşi dă sufletul; soarele ei apune când este încă ziuă: este roşie, acoperită de ruşine. Pe cei ce mai rămân îi dau pradă sabiei înaintea vrăjmaşilor lor, zice Domnul.” –

She who bore seven has grown feeble; she has fainted away; her sun went down while it was yet day; she has been shamed and disgraced. And the rest of them I will give to the sword before their enemies, declares the LORD.”

Jaj nekem, anyám, mert vitázó és az egész ország ellen perelő férfinak szültél engem! Nem adtam kölcsön, és nekem sem adtak kölcsön, mégis mindnyájan átkoznak!

Jaj nékem, anyám, mert versengés férfiává és az egész föld ellen perlekedő férfiúvá szültél engemet! Nem adtam kölcsönt és nékem sem adtak kölcsönt: [mégis] mindnyájan szidalmaznak engem!

Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.

Vai de mine, mamă, că m-ai născut pe mine, om de ceartă şi de pricină pentru toată ţara! Nu iau cu împrumut, nici nu dau cu împrumut, şi totuşi toţi mă blestemă!”

Woe is me, my mother, that you bore me, a man of strife and contention to the whole land! I have not lent, nor have I borrowed, yet all of them curse me.

Azt mondta az ÚR: Hát nem a te érdekedben szabadítottalak-e meg? Vajon nem én jártam-e közben érted ellenségeidnél a szorongattatás és a nyomorúság idején?

Monda az Úr: Avagy nem jóra tartalak-é meg téged? Avagy nem azt teszem- é, hogy ellenséged a baj idején és nyomorúság idején kérni fog téged?

The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

Domnul a răspuns: „Da, vei avea un viitor fericit; da, voi sili pe vrăjmaş să te roage la vreme de nenorocire şi la vreme de necaz!

The LORD said, “Have I not set you free for their good? Have I not pleaded for you before the enemy in the time of trouble and in the time of distress?

Vajon el lehet-e törni a vasat, az északi vasat és rezet?

Vajjon eltöri-é a vas az északi vasat és rezet?

Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?

Poate fierul să frângă fierul de la miazănoapte şi arama?

Can one break iron, iron from the north, and bronze?

Vagyonodat és kincseidet zsákmányul adom, ingyen, sokféle vétked miatt, amelyeket egész határodban elkövettél.

Vagyonodat és kincseidet rablónak adom, nem pénzért, hanem a te mindenféle vétkedért, minden határodban.

Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.

Averile şi comorile tale le voi da pradă fără despăgubire, din pricina tuturor păcatelor tale, pe tot ţinutul tău.

“Your wealth and your treasures I will give as spoil, without price, for all your sins, throughout all your territory.

Ellenségeid szolgájává teszlek egy olyan földön, amelyet nem ismersz, mert haragom tüze fölgerjedt, lángra gyúlt ellenetek!

És elvitetlek ellenségeiddel [olyan] földre, [a melyet ]nem ismersz, mert haragomnak tüze felgerjedt, lángra gyúlt ellenetek!

And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.

Te voi duce rob la vrăjmaşul tău într-o ţară pe care n-o cunoşti, căci focul mâniei Mele s-a aprins şi arde peste voi!” –

I will make you serve your enemies in a land that you do not know, for in my anger a fire is kindled that shall burn forever.”

Te ismersz engem, URam, emlékezzél meg rólam, és tekints rám, állj bosszút értem üldözőimen! Ne halogasd haragodat, hogy el ne ejtsenek engem. Tudd meg, hogy érted szenvedek gyalázatot!

Te tudod, Uram! Emlékezzél meg rólam és tekints reám, és állj bosszút értem üldözőimen; a te haragodnak halogatásaival ne ejts el engem; tudd meg, hogy éretted szenvedek gyalázatot!

O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.

Tu ştii tot, Doamne! Adu-Ţi aminte de mine, nu mă uita, răzbună-mă pe prigonitorii mei! Nu mă lua, după îndelunga Ta răbdare. Gândeşte-Te că sufăr ocara din pricina Ta!

O LORD, you know; remember me and visit me, and take vengeance for me on my persecutors. In your forbearance take me not away; know that for your sake I bear reproach.

Ha szavaid rám találtak, eledelemmé váltak. Szavaid örömömre váltak nekem és szívem vigasságára. Mert a te nevedről neveznek, ó, URam, Seregek Istene!

Ha szavaidat hallattad, én élveztem azokat; a te szavaid örömömre váltak nékem és szívemnek vígasságára; mert a te nevedről neveztetem oh Uram, Seregeknek Istene!

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Când am primit cuvintele Tale, le-am înghiţit; cuvintele Tale au fost bucuria şi veselia inimii mele, căci după Numele Tău sunt numit, Doamne Dumnezeul oştirilor!

Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.

Nem ültem a nevetgélők gyülekezetében, és nem vigadoztam velük. Súlyos kezed miatt egyedül ültem, mert bánattal töltöttél el.

Nem ültem a nevetgélők gyülekezetében, és nem ujjongtam [velök; ]a te hatalmad miatt egyedül ültem, mert bosszúsággal töltöttél el engem.

I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.

N-am şezut în adunarea celor ce petrec, ca să mă înveselesc cu ei: de frica puterii Tale, am stat singur la o parte, căci mă umplusem de mânie.

I did not sit in the company of revelers, nor did I rejoice; I sat alone, because your hand was upon me, for you had filled me with indignation.

Miért tart fájdalmam szüntelen, és miért lett olyan súlyossá, gyógyíthatatlanná a sebem? Olyan lettél nekem, mint a nem állandó vizű, csalóka patak!

Miért lett szünetlenné az én fájdalmam, és halálossá, gyógyíthatatlanná az én sebem? Olyanná lettél nékem, mint a bizonytalan vizű, csalóka patak!

Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?

Pentru ce nu mai conteneşte suferinţa mea? Pentru ce mă ustură rana şi nu vrea să se vindece? Să fii Tu pentru mine ca un izvor înşelător, ca o apă care seacă? –

Why is my pain unceasing, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will you be to me like a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?

Azért azt mondja az ÚR: Ha visszatérsz hozzám, helyreállítalak, hogy újra előttem állhass. Ha elválasztod a jót a hitványtól, akkor olyanná leszel, mint az én szájam. Ők térjenek hozzád, és ne te térj őhozzájuk!

Azért ezt mondja az Úr: Ha megtérsz, én is visszatérítelek téged, előttem állasz; és ha elválasztod a jót a hitványtól, olyanná leszel, mint az én szájam. Ők térjenek meg te hozzád, de te ne térj ő hozzájok!

Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

De aceea aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Dacă te vei lipi iarăşi de Mine, îţi voi răspunde iarăşi, şi vei sta înaintea Mea; dacă vei despărţi ce este de preţ de ce este fără preţ, vei fi ca gura Mea. Ei să se întoarcă la tine, nu tu să te întorci la ei!

Therefore thus says the LORD: “If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.

Erős ércfallá teszlek e nép ellen, és viaskodnak majd ellened, de nem győzhetnek le, mert én veled vagyok, hogy megszabadítsalak és megvédjelek! – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És e nép ellen erős érczbástyává teszlek téged, és viaskodnak ellened, de nem győzhetnek meg téged, mert én veled vagyok, hogy megvédjelek és megszabadítsalak téged, azt mondja az Úr!

And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Te voi face pentru poporul acesta ca un zid tare de aramă; ei se vor război cu tine, dar nu te vor birui; căci Eu voi fi cu tine ca să te scap şi să te izbăvesc, zice Domnul.

And I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail over you, for I am with you to save you and deliver you, declares the LORD.

És megszabadítlak téged a gonoszok kezeiből, és kimentelek téged a hatalmaskodók markából.

And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.

Te voi izbăvi din mâna celor răi şi te voi scăpa din mâna asupritorilor.”

I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless.”
