Móábról ezt mondja a Seregek URa, Izráel Istene: Jaj Nebónak, mert elpusztul! Kirjátaim megszégyenül, beveszik, Miszgáb megszégyenül, összetörik.

Moáb felől ezt mondja a Seregek Ura, az Izráel Istene: Jaj Nébónak, mert elpusztíttatott; megszégyenült, bevétetett Kirjátaim, Misgáb megszégyenült és elrémült.

Against Moab thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded and taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed.

Concerning Moab. Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Woe to Nebo, for it is laid waste! Kiriathaim is put to shame, it is taken; the fortress is put to shame and broken down;

Nincs már dicsősége Móábnak, Hesbónban gonoszt terveznek ellene: Gyertek, irtsuk ki őt a nemzetek közül! Te is elnémulsz, Madmén, fegyver jár nyomodban!

There shall be no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.

S-a dus fala Moabului, la Hesbon i se pune la cale pieirea: „Haidem să-l nimicim din mijlocul neamurilor!” Şi tu vei fi nimicit, Madmenule, sabia va merge după tine!

the renown of Moab is no more. In Heshbon they planned disaster against her: ‘Come, let us cut her off from being a nation!’ You also, O Madmen, shall be brought to silence; the sword shall pursue you.

Sírva-ríva kapaszkodnak föl a Luhít-hágón, Hórónaim lejtőin vészkiáltás hallatszik a pusztulás miatt.

For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.

For at the ascent of Luhith they go up weeping; for at the descent of Horonaim they have heard the distressed cry of destruction.

Flee, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness.

Mivel műveidbe és kincseidbe vetetted bizodalmadat, téged is bevesznek! Kemós fogságba megy papjaival, fejedelmeivel együtt.

Mivelhogy a te bizodalmad marháidban és kincseidben volt, te is bevétetel, és Kámós fogságra megy papjaival, fejedelmeivel együtt.

For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his priests and his princes together.

Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

Blestemat să fie cel ce face cu nebăgare de seamă lucrarea Domnului, blestemat să fie cel ce îşi opreşte sabia de la măcel!

“Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD with slackness, and cursed is he who keeps back his sword from bloodshed.

Nyugodtan élt Móáb gyermekségétől fogva, és pihent, mint seprőjén a bor. Nem öntögették edényből edénybe, és fogságba sem ment, ezért maradt meg az íze, illata sem változott meg.

De aceea iată, vin zile, zice Domnul, când îi voi trimite oameni care-l vor pritoci; îi vor goli vasele şi vor face să-i plesnească burdufurile.

“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I shall send to him pourers who will pour him, and empty his vessels and break his jars in pieces.

Megszégyenül Móáb Kemós miatt, ahogyan megszégyenült Izráel háza Bétel miatt, amelyben bízott.

How say ye, We are mighty and strong men for the war?

Elpusztul Móáb, városait beveszik, válogatott ifjai pedig mészárszékre jutnak! – ezt mondja a Király, akinek Seregek URa a neve.

Moab is spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Moabul este pustiit, cetăţile lui se înalţă în fum, floarea tinerimii lui este înjunghiată, zice Împăratul, al cărui nume este Domnul oştirilor.

The destroyer of Moab and his cities has come up, and the choicest of his young men have gone down to slaughter, declares the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.

Bánkódjatok miatta mindnyájan, akik körülötte vagytok, mindnyájan, akik ismeritek nevét! Mondjátok: hogy összetört az erős bot, a dicső pálca!

All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!

Bociţi-l, toţi cei ce-l înconjuraţi, toţi care-i cunoaşteţi numele! Şi ziceţi: „Cum a fost sfărâmat acest puternic toiag de cârmuire, acest toiag măreţ!”

Grieve for him, all you who are around him, and all who know his name; say, ‘How the mighty scepter is broken, the glorious staff.’

Szállj le a dicsőségből, és ülj a porba, Díbón leányának lakosa, mert Móáb pusztítója fölvonult ellened, és lerontja erődeidet.

Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holds.

“Come down from your glory, and sit on the parched ground, O inhabitant of Dibon! For the destroyer of Moab has come up against you; he has destroyed your strongholds.

Állj ki az útra, és figyelj, Aróér lakosa! Kérdezd meg a futva menekülőt: Mondd, mi történt?

O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, and say, What is done?

Megszégyenült Móáb, mert összetörték. Jajgassatok és kiáltsatok! Hirdessétek az Arnónnál, hogy elpusztult Móáb!

Moab is confounded; for it is broken down: howl and cry; tell ye it in Arnon, that Moab is spoiled,

Moabul este acoperit de ruşine, căci este zdrobit. Gemeţi şi strigaţi! Vestiţi în Arnon că Moabul este pustiit!

Moab is put to shame, for it is broken; wail and cry! Tell it beside the Arnon, that Moab is laid waste.

And judgment is come upon the plain country; upon Holon, and upon Jahazah, and upon Mephaath,

The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the LORD.

Részegítsétek le őt, mert hősködött az ÚRral szemben. Hemperegjen Móáb a maga okádékában, és legyen csúfsággá ő is.

Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.

Îmbătaţi-l, căci s-a semeţit împotriva Domnului! De aceea, prăvălească-se Moabul în vărsătura lui şi să ajungă de râs şi el!

“Make him drunk, because he magnified himself against the LORD, so that Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he too shall be held in derision.

Vajon nem űztél-e csúfot te is Izráelből? És mintha a tolvajok között találták volna, hogy a fejedet csóváltad, amikor róla beszéltél.

Vajjon nem csúfod volt-é néked az Izráel? Avagy a lopók között találtatott, hogy mikor szólottál felőle, kevélyen hánytad magadat?

For was not Israel a derision unto thee? was he found among thieves? for since thou spakest of him, thou skippedst for joy.

Hagyjátok el a városokat, és lakjatok a kősziklák között, Móáb lakosai! Legyetek olyanok, mint a galamb, amely a barlang szájában rak fészket.

O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock, and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of the hole's mouth.

Hallottunk Móáb kevélységéről, hogy milyen kevély; fölfuvalkodásáról és dölyfösségéről, kérkedéséről és szíve elbizakodottságáról.

We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

Ismerem szertelenségét – ezt mondja az ÚR –; sem a fecsegése, sem a cselekedete nem igaz.

I know his wrath, saith the LORD; but it shall not be so; his lies shall not so effect it.

I know his insolence, declares the LORD; his boasts are false, his deeds are false.

Ezért jajgatok Móáb miatt, és kiáltok egész Móábért, Kír-Heresz férfiaiért siránkozom.

Therefore will I howl for Moab, and I will cry out for all Moab; mine heart shall mourn for the men of Kirheres.

Therefore I wail for Moab; I cry out for all Moab; for the men of Kir-hareseth I mourn.

O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.

More than for Jazer I weep for you, O vine of Sibmah! Your branches passed over the sea, reached to the Sea of Jazer; on your summer fruits and your grapes the destroyer has fallen.

Eltűnt az öröm és vigasság a kertekből és Móáb földjéről. Kiürítettem a sajtókból a bort, nem sajtolnak örömrivalgással, s a kiáltás már nem örömkiáltás.

És eltünik az öröm és vígasság Kármelből és a Moáb földéről, és a kádakból kifogyasztom a bort, nem sajtolnak örömzajjal; az éneklő nem énekel.

And joy and gladness is taken from the plentiful field, and from the land of Moab, and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: none shall tread with shouting; their shouting shall be no shouting.

Şi astfel, s-a dus bucuria şi veselia din câmpiile şi din ţara roditoare a Moabului. Am secat vinul din teascuri – zice Domnul – nimeni nu mai calcă teascul cu strigăte de bucurie; sunt strigăte de război, nu strigăte de bucurie.

Gladness and joy have been taken away from the fruitful land of Moab; I have made the wine cease from the winepresses; no one treads them with shouts of joy; the shouting is not the shout of joy.

Hesbón és Elálé kiáltása elhat Jahacig, hangjuk Cóártól Hórónaimig és EglatSelisijjáig hallik, még Nimrím vizei is elapadnak.

From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be desolate.

“From the outcry at Heshbon even to Elealeh, as far as Jahaz they utter their voice, from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah. For the waters of Nimrim also have become desolate.

Végzek azzal Móábban – azt mondja az ÚR –, aki a magaslaton áldozik, és isteneinek tömjénez.

És kifogyasztom Moábból, azt mondja az Úr, a ki a magaslaton áldozik és füstöt gerjeszt az ő isteneinek.

Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD, him that offereth in the high places, and him that burneth incense to his gods.

And I will bring to an end in Moab, declares the LORD, him who offers sacrifice in the high place and makes offerings to his god.

Ezért zokog a szívem Móábért, mint a síp, zokog a szívem Kír-Heresz férfiaiért, mint a síp, mivel elveszett minden kincse, amit gyűjtött.

For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.

“For every head is shaved and every beard cut off. On all the hands are gashes, and around the waist is sackcloth.

Jajveszékelés hallatszik Móábban minden háztetőn és minden utcán, mert összetörtem Móábot, mint egy edényt, amely nem kell senkinek – mondja az ÚR.

Moábnak minden házpadján és utczáján mindenütt siralom, mert összetörtem Moábot, mint az edényt, mely semmirekellő, azt mondja az Úr.

There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.

Pe toate acoperişurile Moabului şi în pieţe sunt numai bocete, pentru că am sfărâmat Moabul ca pe un vas fără preţ, zice Domnul.

On all the housetops of Moab and in the squares there is nothing but lamentation, for I have broken Moab like a vessel for which no one cares, declares the LORD.

Mennyire összezúzták! Hogy jajgatnak! Milyen szégyenletesen megfutamodott Móáb! Csúffá lett Móáb, és elrettentek tőle mindazok, akik körülötte vannak.

Jajgatnak, [ezt mondván:] Hogy összezúzatott! Hogy fordult háttal Moáb, megszégyenülve! És csúffá lett Moáb, és rettentésére mindazoknak, a kik körülte vannak.

They shall howl, saying, How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him.

Cât este de sfărâmat Moabul! Gemeţi! Cât de ruşinos întoarce Moabul spatele! Moabul ajunge astfel de râs şi de pomină pentru toţi cei ce-l înconjoară.”

How it is broken! How they wail! How Moab has turned his back in shame! So Moab has become a derision and a horror to all that are around him.”

Mert azt mondja az ÚR: Íme, úgy repül rá, mint a sas, kiterjeszti szárnyait Móábra.

For thus saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată că vrăjmaşul zboară ca vulturul şi îşi întinde aripile asupra Moabului!

For thus says the LORD: “Behold, one shall fly swiftly like an eagle and spread his wings against Moab;

Beveszi a városokat, és elfoglalja az erődöket. Olyan lesz ezen a napon Móáb harcosainak a szíve, mint a vajúdó asszony szíve.

Bevétettek a városok, és az erősségek elfoglaltattak, és a Moáb vitézeinek szíve olyan volt e napon, mint a vajudó asszonynak szíve.

Kerioth is taken, and the strong holds are surprised, and the mighty men's hearts in Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

Cheriiotul este luat, cetăţuile sunt cucerite, şi în ziua aceea, inima vitejilor Moabului este ca inima unei femei în durerile naşterii.

the cities shall be taken and the strongholds seized. The heart of the warriors of Moab shall be in that day like the heart of a woman in her birth pains;

Elpusztul Móáb, nem lesz többé, mert fölfuvalkodott az ÚR ellen.

És Moáb elpusztul, úgy hogy nem lesz nép [többé], mert az Úr ellen felemelkedett.

And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against the LORD.

Astfel Moabul va fi nimicit de tot şi nu va mai fi un popor, căci s-a semeţit împotriva Domnului.

Moab shall be destroyed and be no longer a people, because he magnified himself against the LORD.

Félelem, verem és tőr fenyeget téged, Móáb lakossága – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Félelem, verem és tőr [jő] te ellened, Moáb lakosa, azt mondja az Úr.

Fear, and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.

Groaza, groapa şi laţul sunt peste tine, locuitor al Moabului, zice Domnul.

Terror, pit, and snare are before you, O inhabitant of Moab! declares the LORD.

Aki a félelem elől menekül, a verembe esik, és aki kijön a veremből, azt a csapda fogja meg! Mert Móábra bocsátom büntetésének esztendejét – mondja az ÚR.

A ki elfut a félelem elől, a verembe esik, és a ki kijő a veremből, a tőrben fogatik meg, mert rábocsátom Moábra az ő megfenyítésének esztendejét, azt mondja az Úr.

He that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

Cel ce fuge de groază cade în groapă, şi cel ce se ridică din groapă se prinde în laţ; căci aduc asupra lui, asupra Moabului, anul pedepsei lui, zice Domnul.

He who flees from the terror shall fall into the pit, and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For I will bring these things upon Moab, the year of their punishment, declares the LORD.

Hesbón árnyékában állnak meg erejüket vesztve a menekülők. De tűz jön ki Hesbónból, láng csap ki Szíhón közepéből, és megemészti Móáb üstökét és a háborgó fiak koponyáját.

A Hesbon árnyékában állanak meg a hatalom elől futók; de tűz jő ki Hesbonból és láng Szihonnak közepéből, és elemészti Moábnak üstökét és a háborgó fiaknak koponyáját.

They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.

Fugarii se opresc sleiţi de puteri la umbra Hesbonului; dar din Hesbon iese un foc, o flacără iese din mijlocul Sihonului şi mistuie laturile Moabului şi creştetul capului celor ce se fălesc.

“In the shadow of Heshbon fugitives stop without strength, for fire came out from Heshbon, flame from the house of Sihon; it has destroyed the forehead of Moab, the crown of the sons of tumult.

Jaj neked, Móáb! Elvész Kemós népe, mert fiaidat fogságba viszik és leányaidat rabságba.

Jaj néked Moáb! Elveszett Kámósnak népe, mert fiaid fogságra vitettek, és leányaid is fogságra.

Woe be unto thee, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perisheth: for thy sons are taken captives, and thy daughters captives.

Vai de tine, Moabule! Poporul din Chemoş este pierdut! Căci fiii tăi sunt luaţi prinşi de război, şi fiicele tale, prinse de război.

Woe to you, O Moab! The people of Chemosh are undone, for your sons have been taken captive, and your daughters into captivity.

De majd jóra fordítom Móáb sorsát az utolsó időkben – mondja az ÚR. Eddig tart Móáb ítélete.

De visszahozom Moábot a fogságból sok idő mulva, azt mondja az Úr. Eddig van Moáb ítélete.

Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

Dar în vremurile de apoi, voi aduce înapoi pe prinşii de război ai Moabului, zice Domnul.” Aceasta este judecata asupra Moabului.

Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in the latter days, declares the LORD.” Thus far is the judgment on Moab.
