Benjámin fiai, fussatok ki Jeruzsálemből, és fújjatok kürtöt Thekoában, és tűzzetek ki zászlót Beth-Hakkeremben; mert veszedelem fenyeget észak felől és nagy romlás!

O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.

„Fugiţi, copii ai lui Beniamin, fugiţi din mijlocul Ierusalimului, sunaţi din trâmbiţă la Tecoa, ridicaţi un semn la Bet-Hacherem! Căci de la miazănoapte se vede venind o nenorocire şi un mare prăpăd.

Flee for safety, O people of Benjamin, from the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and raise a signal on Beth-haccherem, for disaster looms out of the north, and great destruction.

Elpusztítom a szép és elkényeztetett Sion leányát.

A szép és elkényeztetett asszonyhoz tettem hasonlóvá Sion leányát.

I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.

Pe frumoasa şi subţirica fiică a Sionului o nimicesc!

The lovely and delicately bred I will destroy, the daughter of Zion.

Pásztorok jönnek oda hozzá nyájaikkal, sátrakat vernek körülötte, és lelegelteti mindegyik a maga részét.

Pásztorok jőnek el hozzá nyájaikkal együtt; felvonják mellette a sátrakat köröskörül; kiki legelteti, a mi keze ügyébe esik.

The shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.

La ea vin păstorii cu turmele lor, îşi întind corturile în jurul ei şi îşi pasc fiecare partea lui.” –

Shepherds with their flocks shall come against her; they shall pitch their tents around her; they shall pasture, each in his place.

Készüljetek hadba ellene, keljetek föl, és vonuljunk föl délben! Jaj nekünk, mert hanyatlik már a nap, mert hosszabbodnak az esti árnyékok!

Készüljetek hadba ellene; keljetek fel, és menjünk fel délben! Jaj nékünk, mert hanyatlik már a nap, mert hosszabbodnak az esteli árnyékok!

Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.

„Pregătiţi-vă s-o bateţi! Haidem! Să ne suim ziua în amiaza mare!”… Vai de noi, căci ziua scade, şi umbrele de seară se lungesc.

“Prepare war against her; arise, and let us attack at noon! Woe to us, for the day declines, for the shadows of evening lengthen!

Keljetek föl, vonuljunk föl éjjel, és rontsuk le palotáit!

Keljetek fel és menjünk fel éjjel, és rontsuk le az ő palotáit!

Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces.

Haidem să ne suim noaptea şi să-i dărâmăm casele împărăteşti!” –

Arise, and let us attack by night and destroy her palaces!”

Mert ezt mondja a Seregek URa: Vágjatok ki fákat, és emeljetek töltést Jeruzsálem ellen! A büntetés városa ez, csupa elnyomás van benne!

Mert ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: Vágjatok fákat és hányjatok töltést Jeruzsálem ellen; a büntetés városa ez, csupa nyomorgatás van benne!

For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Tăiaţi copaci şi ridicaţi şanţuri împotriva Ierusalimului! Aceasta este cetatea care trebuie pedepsită; căci în mijlocul ei este numai apăsare.

For thus says the LORD of hosts: “Cut down her trees; cast up a siege mound against Jerusalem. This is the city that must be punished; there is nothing but oppression within her.

Amint hidegen tartja vizét a kút, úgy tartja meg ő is gonoszságát. Erőszakosságról és önkényről hallani benne, mindig csak betegség és vereség van előttem.

Mint a kút hidegen tartja meg a vizét, úgy tartja meg az ő gonoszságát: erőszakosság és önkény hallatszik benne, és betegség és vereség van előttem szüntelen.

As a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually is grief and wounds.

Cum ţâşnesc apele dintr-o fântână, aşa ţâşneşte răutatea ei din ea; nu se aude în ea decât silnicie şi prăpăd; durerea şi rănile Îmi izbesc fără curmare privirile.

As a well keeps its water fresh, so she keeps fresh her evil; violence and destruction are heard within her; sickness and wounds are ever before me.

Fogadd el az intést, ó, Jeruzsálem, hogy lelkem el ne szakadjon tőled, és ne tegyelek téged kietlen, lakhatatlan földdé!

Térj eszedre, oh Jeruzsálem, hogy el ne szakadjon tőled a lelkem; hogy pusztává ne tegyelek téged, lakhatatlan földdé!

Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.

Ia învăţătură, Ierusalime, ca nu cumva să Mă depărtez de tine şi să fac din tine un pustiu, o ţară nelocuită!”

Be warned, O Jerusalem, lest I turn from you in disgust, lest I make you a desolation, an uninhabited land.”

Ezt mondja a Seregek URa: Teljesen megszedik Izráel maradékát, mint a szőlőt. Emeld rájuk a kezedet, mint szüretelő a vesszőkre!

Ezt mondja a Seregek Ura: Teljesen megszedik Izráel maradékát, mint a szőlőt. Fordítsd kezedet [reájok,] mint a szőlőszedő a kosarakra!

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Vor culege rămăşiţele lui Israel cum se culeg ciorchinii rămaşi dintr-o vie. – Puneţi din nou mâna pe ea ca şi culegătorul pe mlădiţe.” –

Thus says the LORD of hosts: “They shall glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel; like a grape gatherer pass your hand again over its branches.”

Kinek szóljak, és kit figyelmeztessek, hogy meghallják? Íme, fülük körülmetéletlen, és nem tudnak figyelni! Íme, az ÚR szava szégyenletessé lett előttük, nem gyönyörködnek benne.

Kinek szóljak és kiket kérjek, hogy hallják? Ímé, az ő fülök körülmetéletlen és nem figyelhetnek! Ímé, az Úr szava útálatossággá lett előttök; nem gyönyörködnek abban:

To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

Cui să vorbesc şi pe cine să iau martor ca să m-asculte? Urechea lor este netăiată împrejur şi nu sunt în stare să ia aminte. Iată, cuvântul Domnului este o ocară pentru ei şi nu le place de el.

To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the LORD is to them an object of scorn; they take no pleasure in it.

Ezért telve vagyok az ÚR haragjával, elfáradtam azt magamban tartani! Öntsd ki az utcán a gyermekekre és velük együtt az ifjak gyülekezetére is! Foglyul esik férj és feleség, öreg és aggastyán.

Azért telve vagyok az Úr haragjával, elfáradtam [azt] visszatartani! Öntsd ki a gyermekekre az utczán, és az ifjak gyülekezetére is egyszersmind; sőt még a férj a feleséggel, az öreg az aggastyánnal szintén fogattassanak el;

Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.

Eu sunt aşa de plin de mânia Domnului, că n-o pot opri. – „Toarn-o peste copilul de pe uliţă şi peste adunările tinerilor. Căci şi bărbatul şi nevasta vor fi prinşi, şi bătrânul şi cel încărcat de zile.

Therefore I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary of holding it in. “Pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the gatherings of young men, also; both husband and wife shall be taken, the elderly and the very aged.

Házaik idegenekre szállnak mezejükkel és feleségükkel együtt. Mert kinyújtom kezemet e föld lakosaira – mondja az ÚR.

És házaik idegenekre szálljanak, mezőik és feleségeik is egyszersmind; mert kinyújtom kezemet e föld lakosaira, azt mondja az Úr.

And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.

Casele lor vor trece în stăpânirea altora, ogoarele şi nevestele lor de asemenea, când Îmi voi întinde mâna asupra locuitorilor ţării, zice Domnul.

Their houses shall be turned over to others, their fields and wives together, for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land,” declares the LORD.

Mert kicsinyeiktől a nagyjaikig mindnyájan telhetetlenségre adták magukat, a prófétától a papig mindnyájan csalárdságot űznek.

Mert kicsinyeiktől fogva nagyjaikig mindnyájan telhetetlenségnek adták magokat; a prófétától fogva a papig mindnyájan csalárdságot űznek.

For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

Căci de la cel mai mic până la cel mai mare, toţi sunt lacomi de câştig; de la proroc până la preot, toţi înşală.

“For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely.

Úgy gyógyítgatják népem sebeit, hogy könnyelműen azt mondogatják: „Békesség, békesség”, pedig nincs békesség!

És hazugsággal gyógyítgatják az én népem leányának romlását, mondván: Békesség, békesség, és nincs békesség!

They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Leagă în chip uşuratic rana fiicei poporului Meu, zicând: „Pace! Pace!” Şi totuşi nu este pace!

They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.

Szégyenkezniük kellene, mert utálatosságot cselekedtek; de bizony nem szégyenkeznek, még pirulni sem tudnak. Ezért elesnek majd a többi elesővel együtt, elbuknak megbüntetésük idején – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Szégyenkezniök kellene, hogy útálatosságot cselekedtek, de szégyenkezni nem szégyenkeznek, még pirulni sem tudnak; ezért elesnek majd az elesendőkkel; az ő megfenyíttetésök idején elhullanak, azt mondja az Úr.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

Sunt daţi de ruşine, căci săvârşesc urâciuni; şi totuşi nu roşesc şi nu ştiu de ruşine. De aceea vor cădea împreună cu cei ce cad, vor fi răsturnaţi, când îi voi pedepsi, zice Domnul.”

Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,” says the LORD.

Így szól az ÚR: Álljatok ki az utakra, és nézzetek szét, kérdezősködjetek a régi ösvények felől, melyik a jó út, és azon járjatok, hogy nyugalmat találjatok lelketeknek! De ők azt mondták: Nem megyünk!

Így szólt az Úr: Álljatok az utakra, és nézzetek szét, és kérdezősködjetek a régi ösvények felől, melyik a jó út, és azon járjatok, hogy nyugodalmat találjatok a ti lelketeknek! És azt mondták: Nem megyünk!

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Staţi în drumuri, uitaţi-vă şi întrebaţi care sunt cărările cele vechi, care este calea cea bună: umblaţi pe ea, şi veţi găsi odihnă pentru sufletele voastre!” Dar ei răspund: „Nu vrem să umblăm pe ele!”

Thus says the LORD: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

Őrállókat is rendeltem föléjük e szavakkal: Figyeljetek a kürtszóra! De ők azt mondták: Nem figyelünk!

Őrállókat is rendeltem föléjök, [mondván:] Figyeljetek a kürtnek szavára! És azt mondták: Nem figyelünk!

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Am pus nişte străjeri peste voi: „Fiţi cu luare aminte la sunetul trâmbiţei!” Dar ei răspund: „Nu vrem să fim cu luare aminte!”

I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not pay attention.’

Ezért halljátok meg, ti nemzetek, és tudd meg, te gyülekezet, azt, ami rájuk következik!

Azért halljátok meg, ti nemzetek, és tudd meg, te gyülekezet azt, a mi [következik] reájok.

Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.

De aceea, ascultaţi, neamuri, şi luaţi seama la ce li se va întâmpla, adunare a popoarelor!

Therefore hear, O nations, and know, O congregation, what will happen to them.

Halld meg, te föld! Íme, veszedelmet hozok erre a népre, gondolatainak gyümölcsét. Mert nem figyeltek beszédeimre, és törvényemet megvetették.

Halld meg, oh föld! Ímé, én veszedelmet hozok erre a népre: az ő gondolatainak gyümölcsét; mert nem figyeltek az én beszédeimre, és az én törvényemet megvetették.

Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

Ascultă şi tu, pământule! Iată, voi aduce peste poporul acesta o nenorocire care va fi rodul gândurilor lui; căci n-au luat aminte la cuvintele Mele şi au nesocotit Legea Mea.

Hear, O earth; behold, I am bringing disaster upon this people, the fruit of their devices, because they have not paid attention to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.

Minek nekem ez a tömjén, amely Sebából érkezik, és a messze földről való, jó illatú nád? Égőáldozataitok nincsenek kedvemre, véresáldozataitok sem tetszenek nekem.

Minek nékem ez a tömjén, a mi Sébából kerül, és a messze földről való jóillatú fahéj? A ti égőáldozataitok nincsenek kedvemre, sem a ti véres áldozataitok nem tetszenek nékem.

To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

Ce nevoie am Eu de tămâia care vine din Seba, de trestia mirositoare dintr-o ţară depărtată? Arderile voastre de tot nu-Mi plac, şi jertfele voastre nu-Mi sunt plăcute.”

What use to me is frankincense that comes from Sheba, or sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing to me.

Ezért ezt mondja az ÚR: Íme, buktatókat állítok e nép elé, és egyaránt megbotlanak benne apák és fiak; elvesznek a szomszédok és a barátok.

Azért ezt mondja az Úr: Ímé, én akadályokat szerzek e népnek, és megbotlanak bennök az atyák és fiak együttesen, a szomszéd és az ő barátja elvesznek.

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată, voi pune înaintea poporului acestuia nişte pietre de poticnire, de care se vor lovi împreună părinţi şi fii, vecini şi prieteni, şi vor pieri.”

Therefore thus says the LORD: ‘Behold, I will lay before this people stumbling blocks against which they shall stumble; fathers and sons together, neighbor and friend shall perish.’”

Így szól az ÚR: Íme, egy nép jön az északi földről, nagy nemzet támad a föld végéről!

Így szól az Úr: Ímé, nép jön el az északi földről, és nagy nemzet serken fel a földnek végéről!

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată că vine un popor din ţara de la miazănoapte, un neam mare se ridică de la marginile pământului.

Thus says the LORD: “Behold, a people is coming from the north country, a great nation is stirring from the farthest parts of the earth.

Íjat és kopját ragadnak, kegyetlenek, nem könyörülnek. Hangjuk zúg, mint a tenger, és lovakon nyargalnak, egy emberként sorakoznak föl ellened, ó, Sion leánya!

Kézívet és kopját ragad, kegyetlen az és nem könyörül; szavok zúg, mint a tenger, és lovakon nyargalnak, fejenként viadalra készen te ellened, oh Sion leánya!

They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion.

Ei poartă arc şi suliţă; sunt cumpliţi şi fără milă; glasul lor urlă ca marea; sunt călare pe cai şi gata de luptă ca un om pregătit de război împotriva ta, fiica Sionului!”

They lay hold on bow and javelin; they are cruel and have no mercy; the sound of them is like the roaring sea; they ride on horses, set in array as a man for battle, against you, O daughter of Zion!”

Hallottuk a hírét, és kezünk lehanyatlott. Szorongás vett erőt rajtunk, gyötrődés, mint a vajúdó asszonyon.

Halljuk a hírét: kezeink elesnek; szorongás vesz erőt rajtunk, reszketés, mint a vajudó asszonyon.

We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

La vuietul apropierii lor, mâinile ni se slăbesc, ne apucă groaza ca durerea unei femei care naşte. –

We have heard the report of it; our hands fall helpless; anguish has taken hold of us, pain as of a woman in labor.

Ne menj ki a mezőre, és ne járj az úton, mert az ellenség fegyvere és rémület fenyeget körös-körül.

Ki ne menjetek a mezőre, és az úton se járjatok; mert ellenség fegyvere, rémület [fenyeget] köröskörül.

Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side.

Nu ieşiţi în ogoare şi nu mergeţi pe drumuri! Căci acolo este sabia vrăjmaşului, răspândind spaima de jur împrejur!

Go not out into the field, nor walk on the road, for the enemy has a sword; terror is on every side.

Népem leánya! Ölts zsákruhát, fetrengj a hamuban, gyászolj, mintha egyszülöttedet siratnád, zokogj keservesen, mert hamarosan ránk tör a pusztító!

Népem leánya! Ölts gyászt, és heverj a porban, sírj, mint az egyszülöttet siratják, zokogj keservesen; mert reánk tör a pusztító hamar!

O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.

Fiica poporului meu, acoperă-te cu un sac şi tăvăleşte-te în cenuşă, jeleşte-te ca după singurul tău fiu, varsă lacrimi, lacrimi amare! Căci pe neaşteptate vine pustiitorul peste noi. –

O daughter of my people, put on sackcloth, and roll in ashes; make mourning as for an only son, most bitter lamentation, for suddenly the destroyer will come upon us.

Arra rendeltelek, hogy próbára tedd és megfigyeld népemet, hogy megismerd és megvizsgáld az útjukat.

Próbálóvá tettelek téged az én népem között; őrállóvá, hogy megismerd és megpróbáld az ő útjokat.

I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way.

„Te pusesem de pază peste poporul Meu ca o cetăţuie, ca să le cunoşti şi să le cercetezi calea.

“I have made you a tester of metals among my people, that you may know and test their ways.

Mindnyájan vakmerő lázadók, rágalmazva járnak, mind csak hitvány réz és vas.

Mindnyájan igen vakmerők, rágalmazva járnak, réz és vas; mindnyájan elvetemültek ők.

They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.

Toţi sunt nişte răzvrătiţi, nişte bârfitori, aramă şi fier, toţi sunt nişte stricaţi.

They are all stubbornly rebellious, going about with slanders; they are bronze and iron; all of them act corruptly.

Hevesen fújt a fújtató, az ólmot megolvasztotta a tűz; de hiába olvaszt az olvasztó, mert a gonoszok nem tisztultak meg.

Megégett a fúvó a tűztől, elfogyott az ón, hiába olvaszt az olvasztó, mert gonoszok, meg nem tisztíthatók.

The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.

Foalele ard, plumbul este topit de foc; degeaba curăţă, căci zgura nu se dezlipeşte.

The bellows blow fiercely; the lead is consumed by the fire; in vain the refining goes on, for the wicked are not removed.

Megvetett ezüstnek hívjátok őket, mert az ÚR megvetette őket!

Megvetett ezüstnek hívjátok őket, mert az Úr megvetette őket!

Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

De aceea se vor numi argint lepădat, căci Domnul i-a lepădat.”

Rejected silver they are called, for the LORD has rejected them.”
