Ez az a beszéd, amelyet az ÚR mondott Babilónról, a káldeusok földjéről Jeremiás próféta által:

Az a szó, a melyet szóla az Úr Babilon felől és a Káldeusok földje felől, Jeremiás próféta által.

The word that the LORD spake against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.

The word that the LORD spoke concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Chaldeans, by Jeremiah the prophet:

Hirdessétek a nemzetek között, és hallassátok, emeljétek föl a zászlót! Hallassátok, és ne titkoljátok el! Ezt mondjátok: Bevették Babilónt, megszégyenült Bél, összetört Marduk, megszégyenültek faragott képei, összetörtek bálványai!

Hirdessétek a nemzetek között és hallassátok, emeljétek fel a zászlót: hallassátok és el ne titkoljátok; ezt mondjátok: Bevétetett Babilon, megszégyenült Bél, letöretett Merodák, megszégyenültek az ő faragott képei, letörettek az ő bálványai.

Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.

„Daţi de ştire printre neamuri, daţi de veste şi înălţaţi un steag! Vestiţi, n-ascundeţi nimic! Spuneţi: „Babilonul este luat! Bel este acoperit de ruşine, Merodac este zdrobit! Idolii lui sunt acoperiţi de ruşine, idolii lui sunt sfărâmaţi!”

“Declare among the nations and proclaim, set up a banner and proclaim, conceal it not, and say: ‘Babylon is taken, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is dismayed. Her images are put to shame, her idols are dismayed.’

Mert északról egy nép vonul ellene, földjét pusztává teszi, és nem lesz, aki lakjon benne; az ember és az állat is elmenekül és elfut.

For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.

Căci împotriva lui se suie un neam de la miazănoapte, care-i va preface ţara într-un pustiu, şi nu va mai fi locuită: atât oamenii cât şi dobitoacele fug şi se duc.

“For out of the north a nation has come up against her, which shall make her land a desolation, and none shall dwell in it; both man and beast shall flee away.

Azokban a napokban, abban az időben – ezt mondja az ÚR – megjönnek Izráel fiai Júda fiaival együtt. Sírva mennek, és keresik Istenüket, az URat.

In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.

“In those days and in that time, declares the LORD, the people of Israel and the people of Judah shall come together, weeping as they come, and they shall seek the LORD their God.

A Sion felől kérdezősködnek, arrafelé fordítják arcukat: Gyertek, szegődjünk az ÚRhoz örök szövetséggel, amely nem megy feledésbe!

They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

Vor întreba de drumul Sionului, îşi vor întoarce privirile spre el şi vor zice: „Veniţi să ne alipim de Domnul printr-un legământ veşnic care să nu fie uitat niciodată!”

They shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, saying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.’

Elveszett juhnyáj volt a népem, pásztorai félrevezették és eltérítették őket a hegyekben. Hegyről halomra jártak, elfelejtkeztek legelőjükről.

My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

Poporul Meu era o turmă de oi pierdute; păstorii lor îi rătăceau, îi făceau să cutreiere munţii; treceau de pe munţi pe dealuri, uitându-şi staulul.

“My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. They have forgotten their fold.

Aki csak rájuk talált, pusztította őket. Elnyomóik azt gondolták, hogy nem bűnhődnek, mert ezek vétettek az ÚR ellen. Pedig az ÚR volt igaz otthonuk és atyáik reménysége.

A ki csak reájok talált, emésztette őket, és az ő elnyomóik ezt mondták: Nem vétkeztünk, mert vétettek az Úr ellen, pedig igazság otthona, atyáiknak reménysége volt az Úr.

All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.

Toţi cei ce-i găseau îi mâncau, şi vrăjmaşii lor ziceau: „Noi nu suntem vinovaţi fiindcă au păcătuit împotriva Domnului, Locaşul neprihănirii, împotriva Domnului, Nădejdea părinţilor lor.” –

All who found them have devoured them, and their enemies have said, ‘We are not guilty, for they have sinned against the LORD, their habitation of righteousness, the LORD, the hope of their fathers.’

Fussatok ki Babilónból, jöjjetek ki Káldea földjéről! Legyetek olyanok, mint a kecskebakok a nyáj előtt!

Fussatok ki Babilonból és jőjjetek ki Káldea földéből, és olyanok legyetek, mint a kecskebakok a nyáj előtt;

Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.

Fugiţi din Babilon, ieşiţi din ţara haldeilor şi mergeţi ca nişte ţapi în fruntea turmei!

“Flee from the midst of Babylon, and go out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as male goats before the flock.

Mert íme, én nagy nemzetek tömegét indítom el és hozom föl Babilónra észak földjéről. Fölsorakoznak vele szemben, míg végül beveszik. Nyilaik olyanok, mint a legyőzhetetlen harcos, aki nem tér vissza sikertelenül.

Mert ímé, én nagy nemzetek gyülekezetét támasztom és hozom fel Babilonra északnak földéről, és sorakoznak ellene, legott bevétetik. Nyilai olyanok, mint a legyőzhetetlen vitézé, a ki nem tér vissza sikertelenül.

For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.

Căci iată că voi ridica şi voi aduce împotriva Babilonului o mulţime de neamuri mari din ţara de la miazănoapte; se vor înşirui în şiruri de bătaie împotriva lui şi vor pune stăpânire pe el; săgeţile lor sunt ca ale unui războinic iscusit, care nu se întoarce cu mâinile goale.

For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon a gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be taken. Their arrows are like a skilled warrior who does not return empty-handed.

Káldea prédává lesz; akik prédára vetik őt, mind jóllaknak vele – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És Káldea prédává lesz, a kik prédára vetik őt, mind betelnek vele, azt mondja az Úr.

And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the LORD.

Astfel va fi dată pradă jafului Haldeea, şi toţi cei ce o vor jefui se vor sătura de jaf, zice Domnul.

Chaldea shall be plundered; all who plunder her shall be sated, declares the LORD.

Örüljetek, vigadozzatok csak, örökségem elpusztítói! Ugrándozzatok csak, mint a nyomtató üsző, és nyerítsetek, mint a mének!

Csak örüljetek, csak tomboljatok örökségem elpusztítói: csak ugrándozzatok, mint a nyomtató tinó, és nyerítsetek, mint a ménlovak.

Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;

Căci voi v-aţi bucurat şi v-aţi înveselit, când Mi-aţi jefuit moştenirea Mea! Da, săreaţi ca o juncană în iarbă, nechezaţi ca nişte armăsari focoşi!

“Though you rejoice, though you exult, O plunderers of my heritage, though you frolic like a heifer in the pasture, and neigh like stallions,

Igen megszégyenül anyátok, restelkedik szülőtök. Íme, utolsóvá lesz a nemzetek között, pusztává, kietlen földdé, sivataggá lesz.

Megszégyenül a ti anyátok, a ti szűlőtök igen csúffá lesz: Ímé, a nemzetek seprejévé, pusztává, szárazfölddé, sivataggá lesz.

Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

Mama voastră este acoperită de ruşine, cea care v-a născut roşeşte de ruşine; iată, ea este coada neamurilor, este un pustiu, un pământ uscat şi fără apă!

your mother shall be utterly shamed, and she who bore you shall be disgraced. Behold, she shall be the last of the nations, a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

Az ÚR haragja miatt nem laknak rajta, hanem egészen pusztasággá lesz. Aki csak keresztülmegy Babilónon, álmélkodik és fölszisszen az ő teljes veresége miatt.

Az Úr haragja miatt nem lakoznak rajta, hanem egészen pusztasággá lesz, a ki csak átmegy Babilonon, álmélkodik és sziszeget egész veresége felett.

Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.

Din pricina mâniei Domnului nu va mai fi locuită şi va fi o pustietate. Toţi cei ce vor trece pe lângă Babilon se vor mira şi vor fluiera pentru toate rănile lui.

Because of the wrath of the LORD she shall not be inhabited but shall be an utter desolation; everyone who passes by Babylon shall be appalled, and hiss because of all her wounds.

Sorakozzatok föl Babilón ellen körös-körül mind, ti íjászok, lőjetek rá, ne kíméljétek a nyilat, mert vétkezett az ÚR ellen!

Sorakozzatok köröskörül Babilon ellen, mind ti ijjászok, lőjjetek reá, ne kiméljétek a nyilat; mert az Úr ellen vétkezett!

Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD.

Înşiruiţi-vă de bătaie împrejurul Babilonului, voi toţi arcaşii! Trageţi împotriva lui, nu faceţi economie de săgeţi! Căci a păcătuit împotriva Domnului.

Set yourselves in array against Babylon all around, all you who bend the bow; shoot at her, spare no arrows, for she has sinned against the LORD.

Kiáltsatok ellene körös-körül, megadta magát, összedőltek oszlopai, leomlottak kőfalai. Bizony, az ÚR bosszúja ez! Álljatok bosszút rajta, és úgy cselekedjetek vele, ahogyan ő cselekedett!

Kiáltsatok reá köröskörül, kezét adta, lehullottak az ő szegletkövei, leromlottak az ő kőfalai: bizony az Úr büntetése ez; büntessétek meg őt, és a mint cselekedett, úgy cselekedjetek vele.

Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.

Scoateţi din toate părţile un strigăt de război împotriva lui! El întinde mâinile; temeliile i se prăbuşesc; zidurile i se surpă. Căci este răzbunarea Domnului. Răzbunaţi-vă pe el! Faceţi-i cum a făcut şi el!

Raise a shout against her all around; she has surrendered; her bulwarks have fallen; her walls are thrown down. For this is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance on her; do to her as she has done.

Irtsátok ki Babilónból a magvetőt és azt, aki sarlót fog aratás idején! A gyilkos fegyver elől mindenki népéhez szalad, mindenki a maga földjére fut.

Vágjátok ki Babilonból a magvetőt és a ki sarlót fog aratás idején; a gyilkos fegyver elől kiki az ő népéhez szalad, kiki az ő földe felé fut.

Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

Nimiciţi cu desăvârşire din Babilon pe cel ce seamănă şi pe cel ce mânuieşte secera la vremea secerişului! Înaintea sabiei nimicitorului, fiecare să se întoarcă la poporul său, fiecare să fugă spre ţara lui.

Cut off from Babylon the sower, and the one who handles the sickle in time of harvest; because of the sword of the oppressor, every one shall turn to his own people, and every one shall flee to his own land.

Elszéledt juhnyáj Izráel, oroszlánok kergették szét. Először Asszíria királya rágta őt, végül pedig Nebukadneccar, a babilóni király törte meg csontjait.

Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.

Israel este o oaie rătăcită pe care au gonit-o leii; împăratul Asiriei a mâncat-o cel dintâi; şi acesta din urmă i-a zdrobit oasele, acest Nebucadneţar, împăratul Babilonului.”

“Israel is a hunted sheep driven away by lions. First the king of Assyria devoured him, and now at last Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has gnawed his bones.

Azért azt mondja a Seregek URa, Izráel Istene: Íme, én megbüntetem a babilóni királyt és országát, ahogyan megbüntettem az asszíriai királyt.

Azért ezt mondja a Seregek Ura, az Izráel Istene: Ímé, én megfenyítem a babiloni királyt és az ő földét, miként megfenyítém az assiriai királyt.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Iată, voi pedepsi pe împăratul Babilonului şi ţara lui, cum am pedepsit pe împăratul Asiriei.

Therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing punishment on the king of Babylon and his land, as I punished the king of Assyria.

Izráelt pedig visszaviszem legelőjére, és a Karmelen meg Básánban legel, Efraim hegyvidékén és Gileádban megelégedhet a lelke.

És visszaviszem az Izráelt az ő lakhelyére, és Básánban legel és a Kármelen, és az Efraim hegyén és Gileádban megelégszik az ő lelke.

And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.

Voi aduce înapoi pe Israel în păşunea lui; va paşte pe Carmel şi pe Basan şi îşi va potoli foamea pe muntele lui Efraim şi în Galaad.

I will restore Israel to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and in Bashan, and his desire shall be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead.

Azokban a napokban és abban az időben – ezt mondja az ÚR – keresik majd Izráel bűnét, de nem lesz, és Júda vétkeit, de nem találják: mert megbocsátok azoknak, akiket meghagyok.

Azokban a napokban és abban az időben, azt mondja az Úr, kerestetik az Izráel bűne, de nem lesz; a Júda vétkei, de nem találtatnak: mert kegyelmes leszek azokhoz, a kiket meghagyok.

In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.

În zilele acelea, în vremea aceea – zice Domnul – se va căuta nelegiuirea lui Israel, şi nu va mai fi, şi păcatul lui Iuda, şi nu se va mai găsi; căci voi ierta rămăşiţa pe care o voi lăsa.

In those days and in that time, declares the LORD, iniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none, and sin in Judah, and none shall be found, for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

Vonulj föl Merátaim földje ellen és Pekód lakói ellen! Öld meg és irtsd ki őket egészen – ezt mondja az ÚR –, és mindent aszerint cselekedj, ahogyan parancsoltam neked!

A kétszer pártütők földére menj fel, és a meglátogattatás lakóit [irtsd ki,] öljed és irtsad őket, azt mondja az Úr, és mind a szerint cselekedjél, a mint parancsoltam néked.

Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.

Suie-te împotriva ţării de două ori răzvrătită, împotriva locuitorilor ei, şi pedepseşte-i! Urmăreşte, măcelăreşte, nimiceşte-i! – zice Domnul – şi împlineşte în totul poruncile Mele!

“Go up against the land of Merathaim, and against the inhabitants of Pekod. Kill, and devote them to destruction, declares the LORD, and do all that I have commanded you.

Harci zaj hangzik a földön, és nagy a romlás.

Harczi zaj a földön és nagy romlás.

A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.

Strigăte de război răsună în ţară, şi prăpădul este mare.

The noise of battle is in the land, and great destruction!

Hogy kivágták és hogy összetörték az egész föld pörölyét! Milyen irtózatossá lett Babilón a népek között!

Hogy elmúlott és összetört az egész föld pőrölye! milyen útálatossá lett Babilon a nemzetek között.

How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

Cum s-a rupt şi s-a sfărâmat ciocanul întregului pământ! Babilonul este nimicit în mijlocul neamurilor!

How the hammer of the whole earth is cut down and broken! How Babylon has become a horror among the nations!

Tőrbe ejtettelek téged, és meg vagy fogva, Babilón, de nem ismerted föl! Utolértek és megragadtak, mert pörlekedtél az ÚRral.

Tőrbe ejtettelek téged, és meg is fogattál Babilon, de nem tudtad, utól érettél és megragadtattál, mert pörlekedtél az Úrral.

I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.

Ţi-am întins o cursă şi ai fost prins, Babilonule, fără să te aştepţi. Ai fost ajuns, apucat, pentru că ai luptat împotriva Domnului.

I set a snare for you and you were taken, O Babylon, and you did not know it; you were found and caught, because you opposed the LORD.

Fölnyitotta fegyvertárát az ÚR, és előhozta haragja fegyvereit. Mert dolga van az ÚRnak, a Seregek URának Káldea földjén.

Felnyitotta az Úr az ő tárházát, és előhozta az ő haragjának szereit: mert e cselekedet az Úré, a Seregek Uráé Káldea földén.

The LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.

Domnul Şi-a deschis casa de arme şi a scos din ea armele mâniei Lui; căci aceasta este o lucrare a Domnului Dumnezeului oştirilor în ţara haldeilor. –

The LORD has opened his armory and brought out the weapons of his wrath, for the Lord GOD of hosts has a work to do in the land of the Chaldeans.

Törjetek rá a szélekről, nyissátok ki magtárait, hányjátok halomra, mint a kévét, és irtsátok ki, hogy ne legyen maradéka!

Törjetek reá a szélekről, nyissátok fel az ő magtárait, tapodjátok őt, mint a kévét, és irtsátok ki, hogy ne legyen maradéka.

Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left.

Pătrundeţi din toate părţile în Babilon, deschideţi-i grânarele, faceţi-le nişte mormane ca nişte grămezi de snopi şi nimiciţi-le. Nimic să nu mai rămână din el!

Come against her from every quarter; open her granaries; pile her up like heaps of grain, and devote her to destruction; let nothing be left of her.

Döfjétek le minden bikáját, el velük a vágóhídra! Jaj nekik, mert eljött a napjuk, büntetésük ideje!

Döfjétek le minden tulkát, le velök a vágóhídra! Oh jaj nékik; mert eljött az ő napjok, az ő megfenyíttetésök ideje!

Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.

Ucideţi-i toţi taurii şi înjughiaţi-i! Vai de ei! Căci le-a venit ziua, vremea pedepsirii lor! –

Kill all her bulls; let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them, for their day has come, the time of their punishment.

A Babilón földjéről futva menekülők hangja hirdeti majd a Sionon az ÚR, a mi Istenünk bosszúállását, templomáért való bosszúállását.

A futók és a Babilon földéből menekülők zaja megjelentik majd a Sionon az Úrnak a mi Istenünknek bosszúállását, az ő templomáért való bosszúállását.

The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple.

Ascultaţi strigătele fugarilor, ale celor ce scapă din ţara Babilonului, ca să vestească în Sion răzbunarea Domnului Dumnezeului nostru, răzbunarea pentru Templul Său!

“A voice! They flee and escape from the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, vengeance for his temple.

Hívjatok össze Babilón ellen mindenkit, aki íjat tud feszíteni, szálljatok táborba körülötte körös-körül, hogy senki se menekülhessen el. Fizessetek meg neki cselekedetei szerint; úgy cselekedjetek vele, ahogyan ő cselekedett, mert kevély volt az ÚRral, Izráel Szentjével szemben!

Gyűjtsetek össze Babilon ellen igen sokat, mindenkit a ki kézívet feszít, köröskörül járjatok ellene tábort, hogy senki el ne szaladhasson: fizessetek meg néki az ő cselekedete szerint, a mint ő cselekedett, úgy cselekedjetek vele; mert az Úr ellen kevélykedett, az Izráelnek Szentje ellen!

Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.

Chemaţi împotriva Babilonului pe arcaşi, voi toţi care încordaţi arcul! Tăbărâţi în jurul lui ca nimeni să nu scape, răsplătiţi-i după faptele lui, faceţi-i întocmai cum a făcut şi el! Căci s-a semeţit împotriva Domnului, împotriva Sfântului lui Israel! –

“Summon archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. Encamp around her; let no one escape. Repay her according to her deeds; do to her according to all that she has done. For she has proudly defied the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.

Ezért elhullanak ifjai a terein, és minden harcosa elvész azon a napon – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Azért elhullanak az ő ifjai az ő utczáiban, és minden vitéze elvész azon a napon, azt mondja az Úr.

Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD.

De aceea, tinerii lui vor cădea pe uliţe, şi toţi oamenii lui de război vor pieri în ziua aceea, zice Domnul.

Therefore her young men shall fall in her squares, and all her soldiers shall be destroyed on that day, declares the LORD.

Íme, ellened vagyok, te kevély – ezt mondja az ÚR, a Seregek URa –, mert eljött a te napod, büntetésed napja.

Ímé, én ellened vagyok, te kevély, azt mondja az Úr, a Seregek Ura, mert eljött a te napod, a te megfenyítésed napja.

Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee.

Iată, am necaz pe tine, îngâmfatule! – zice Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor; căci ţi-a sosit ziua, vremea pedepsirii tale!

“Behold, I am against you, O proud one, declares the Lord GOD of hosts, for your day has come, the time when I will punish you.

Megbotlik a kevély és elesik, és nem lesz senki, aki fölsegítse. Tüzet gyújtok városaiban, hogy megeméssze még azokat is, akik körülötte vannak.

És megbotlik a kevély és elesik, és senki nem lesz, a ki felköltse őt, és tüzet gyújtok az ő városaiban, hogy megemészsze azokat, a kik körülte vannak.

And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.

Îngâmfatul acela se va poticni şi va cădea, şi nimeni nu-l va ridica, voi pune foc cetăţilor lui, şi-i va mistui toate împrejurimile.”

The proud one shall stumble and fall, with none to raise him up, and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it will devour all that is around him.

Azt mondja a Seregek URa: Nyomorgatták Izráel fiait Júda fiaival együtt; akik fogságba vitték őket, erősen fogva tartják, nem akarják elbocsátani.

Ezt mondja a Seregek Ura: Megnyomoríttattak az Izráel fiai és Júda fiai együtt és mindnyájan, a kik fogságra vitték őket, beléjök ragadnak, nem akarják őket elbocsátani.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Copiii lui Israel şi copiii lui Iuda sunt apăsaţi împreună; toţi cei ce i-au dus robi îi opresc şi nu vor să le dea drumul.

“Thus says the LORD of hosts: The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; they refuse to let them go.

De megváltójuk erős, Seregek URa a neve. Bizonyosan fölveszi perüket, és nyugalmat hoz a földre, Babilón lakóit viszont megrettenti.

[De] az ő megváltójok erős, Seregek Ura az ő neve, bizonynyal felveszi az ő peröket, hogy megnyugtassa e földet, és Babilon lakóit megrettentse.

Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Dar puternic este Răzbunătorul lor, El, al cărui nume este Domnul oştirilor. El le va apăra pricina, ca să dea odihnă ţării şi să facă pe locuitorii Babilonului să tremure.

Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

Fegyver lesz a káldeusokon – azt mondja az ÚR –, Babilón lakóin, fejedelmein és bölcsein.

Fegyver [lesz] a Káldeusokon, azt mondja az Úr, és Babilon lakóin és az ő fejedelmein és az ő bölcsein.

A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.

Sabia împotriva haldeilor! – zice Domnul – împotriva locuitorilor Babilonului, împotriva căpeteniilor şi înţelepţilor lui!

“A sword against the Chaldeans, declares the LORD, and against the inhabitants of Babylon, and against her officials and her wise men!

Fegyver lesz varázslóin, és kiderül, hogy bolondok! Fegyver lesz harcosain, és megrémülnek.

Fegyver [lesz] az ő varázslóin, és megbolondulnak; fegyver [lesz] az ő vitézein, és elijednek.

A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.

Sabia împotriva prorocilor minciunii, ca să ajungă ca nişte oameni fără minte! Sabia împotriva vitejilor lui, ca să rămână încremeniţi!

A sword against the diviners, that they may become fools! A sword against her warriors, that they may be destroyed!

Fegyver lesz lovain és harci szekerein és az egész keverék népen, amely közötte él; hasonlók lesznek az asszonyokhoz. Fegyver lesz kincsein, és zsákmányul viszik azokat.

Fegyver [lesz] az ő lovain és szekerein és az egész egyveleg népen, a mely ő benne van, és hasonlók lesznek az asszonyokhoz. Fegyver [lesz] az ő kincsein, és elprédáltatnak.

A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.

Sabia împotriva cailor şi carelor lui, împotriva oamenilor de tot felul care sunt în mijlocul lui, ca să ajungă ca femeile! Sabia împotriva vistieriilor lui, ca să fie jefuite!

A sword against her horses and against her chariots, and against all the foreign troops in her midst, that they may become women! A sword against all her treasures, that they may be plundered!

Szárazság lesz vizein, és kiszáradnak, mert bálványok földje az, és rettentő bálványoknak adnak hálát.

Szárazság [lesz] az ő vizein, és kiszáradnak, mert bálványok földe az, és faragott képekkel dicsekednek.

A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.

Seceta peste apele lui, ca să sece! Căci este o ţară de idoli, şi au înnebunit cu idolii lor.

A drought against her waters, that they may be dried up! For it is a land of images, and they are mad over idols.

Ezért pusztai vadak és sakálok laknak majd ott struccmadarakkal együtt. Soha többé nem lakják, és lakatlan lesz nemzedékről nemzedékre.

Azért sakálok lakoznak ott baglyokkal, és struczmadárnak fiai lakoznak benne, és soha többé nem lakják azt, és nem lesznek lakosai nemzedékről nemzedékre.

Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.

De aceea, fiarele pustiului se vor aşeza acolo împreună cu şacalii, şi struţii vor locui acolo; nu va mai fi locuit niciodată, ci veşnic va rămâne nelocuit.

“Therefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. She shall never again have people, nor be inhabited for all generations.

Ahogyan ledöntötte Isten Sodomát és Gomorát és szomszéd városaikat – azt mondja az ÚR –, ugyanúgy nem lakik ott egy ember sem, senki emberfia nem lakja azt.

A mint felforgatta Isten Sodomát és Gomorát és az ő szomszéd városait, azt mondja az Úr, ép úgy nem lakik ott egy ember sem, és embernek fia sem lakja azt.

As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

Ca şi Sodoma şi Gomora şi cetăţile vecine, pe care le-a nimicit Dumnezeu, zice Domnul, aşa nu va mai fi locuit nici el, şi nimeni nu se va mai aşeza acolo.

As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, declares the LORD, so no man shall dwell there, and no son of man shall sojourn in her.

Íme, egy nép jön északról, nagy nemzet és sok király támad a föld határairól.

Ímé, nép jött északról, és nagy nemzet és sok király támad fel a föld határaiból.

Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

Iată, vine un popor de la miazănoapte, şi un neam mare şi nişte împăraţi puternici se ridică de la marginile pământului.

“Behold, a people comes from the north; a mighty nation and many kings are stirring from the farthest parts of the earth.

Íjat és kopját ragadnak, kegyetlenek, és sekinek sem irgalmaznak. Hangjuk, mint a tenger zúgása. Lovakon vágtatnak, mint harcosok, viadalra sorakoznak ellened, Babilón leánya!

Ívet és paizst ragadnak, kegyetlenek azok, és semmi irgalmasság nem lesz bennök, szavok mint a tenger zúgása, és lovakon jőnek, mind viadalra készek te ellened, te Babilon leánya!

They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.

Poartă arc şi suliţă, sunt necruţători şi fără milă; glasul le mugeşte ca marea; sunt călare pe cai, ca un om gata de luptă, împotriva ta, fiica Babilonului!

They lay hold of bow and spear; they are cruel and have no mercy. The sound of them is like the roaring of the sea; they ride on horses, arrayed as a man for battle against you, O daughter of Babylon!

Ha meghallja hírüket a babilóni király, keze lehanyatlik, szorongás fogja el, vonaglik, mint a szülő asszony.

Hallja a babiloni király az ő híröket, és kezei elesnek, szorongás fogja el őt, fájdalom, mint a gyermekszűlőt.

The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.

Împăratul Babilonului aude vestea, mâinile i se slăbesc şi îl apucă groaza ca durerea pe o femeie care naşte…

“The king of Babylon heard the report of them, and his hands fell helpless; anguish seized him, pain as of a woman in labor.

Íme, mint a Jordán erdőségéből az örökzöld ligetbe feljövő oroszlán, hirtelen űzöm el őket onnan, és választottamat helyezem föléje. Mert ki lehetne hozzám hasonló? Ki szab nekem törvényt, és ki az a pásztor, aki szembeszállhatna velem?

Ímé, mint a Jordán erdőségéből való oroszlán, úgy jön fel az örök[zöld] ligetre, de hamar kiűzöm őt arról, és a ki arra választatott, azt teszem azon fejedelemmé, mert kicsoda hasonlatos hozzám? és ki szab nékem törvényt, és ki az a pásztor, a ki ellenem álljon?

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?

Iată, vrăjmaşul se suie ca un leu de pe malurile îngâmfate ale Iordanului împotriva locuinţei tale tari; deodată îi voi izgoni de acolo şi voi pune peste ei pe acela pe care l-am ales. Căci cine este ca Mine? Cine-Mi va porunci? Şi care căpetenie Îmi va sta împotrivă?”

“Behold, like a lion coming up from the thicket of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make them run away from her, and I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me?

Azért halljátok meg az ÚR tervét, amelyet Babilón ellen tervezett, és gondolatait, amelyeket Káldea ellen gondolt! Bizony a nyáj kicsinyeit is elhajtják, és álmélkodik miattuk a legelő.

Azért halljátok meg az Úr tervét, a melyet Babilon ellen tervezett, és az ő gondolatait, a melyeket Káldea ellen gondolt. Bizony elhajtják őket, a nyáj kicsinyeit, és álmélkodik felettök a legelő.

Therefore hear ye the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them.

De aceea, ascultaţi hotărârea pe care a luat-o Domnul împotriva Babilonului şi planurile pe care le-a făcut El împotriva ţării haldeilor: „Cu adevărat îi vor târî ca pe nişte oi slabe, cu adevărat le vor pustii locuinţa.

Therefore hear the plan that the LORD has made against Babylon, and the purposes that he has formed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of their flock shall be dragged away; surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate.

At the sound of the capture of Babylon the earth shall tremble, and her cry shall be heard among the nations.”
