Igaz vagy, URam, hogyha perelek is veled. Éppen ezért hadd beszéljek veled peres kérdésekről! Miért szerencsés az istentelenek útja? Miért boldogul minden hűtlenkedő?

Igaz vagy Uram, hogyha perlek [is] veled; éppen azért hadd beszélhessek veled peres kérdésekről! Miért szerencsés az istentelenek útja? [Miért] vannak békességben mindnyájan a hűtlenkedők?

Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

Tu eşti prea drept, Doamne, ca să mă cert cu Tine; vreau totuşi să Te întreb asupra orânduirilor Tale. Pentru ce propăşeşte calea celor răi, şi toţi mişeii trăiesc în pace?

Righteous are you, O LORD, when I complain to you; yet I would plead my case before you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive?

Elülteted őket, meg is gyökereznek, fölnövekednek, gyümölcsöt is teremnek. Közel vagy a szájukhoz, de a szívüktől távol!

Beplántálod őket, meg is gyökereznek; felnevekednek, gyümölcsöt is teremnek; közel vagy te az ő szájokhoz, de távol vagy az ő szívöktől!

Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.

I-ai sădit, au prins rădăcină, cresc, fac rod. Ce-i drept, eşti aproape de gura lor, dar departe de inima lor!

You plant them, and they take root; they grow and produce fruit; you are near in their mouth and far from their heart.

Te ismersz engem, URam! Látsz engem, és megvizsgáltad, hogy milyen irántad a szívem. Válaszd külön őket, mint a mészárszékre való juhokat, és készítsd el őket a levágás napjára!

Engem pedig ismersz te, Uram! látsz engem, és megvizsgáltad irántad való érzésemet: szakítsd külön őket, mint a mészárszékre való juhokat, és készítsd őket a megölésnek napjára!

But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

Totuşi, Tu, Doamne, mă cunoşti, mă vezi, îmi cercetezi inima şi vezi că este cu Tine. Ia-i ca pe nişte oi care trebuie tăiate şi pregăteşte-i pentru ziua măcelului!

But you, O LORD, know me; you see me, and test my heart toward you. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and set them apart for the day of slaughter.

Meddig gyászol a föld, és meddig szárad minden fű a mezőn? A rajta lakók gonoszsága miatt pusztul el állat és madár, mert azt gondolják: Nem látja meg a mi végünket!

Meddig gyászoljon a föld, és [meddig] száradjon el minden fű a mezőn? A benne lakók gonoszsága miatt pusztul el barom és madár; mert azt mondják: Nem látja meg a mi végünket!

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

Până când să se jelească ţara şi să se usuce iarba de pe toate câmpiile? Pier vitele şi păsările din pricina răutăţii locuitorilor. Căci ei zic: „El (Ieremia) n-are să ne vadă sfârşitul!” –

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? For the evil of those who dwell in it the beasts and the birds are swept away, because they said, “He will not see our latter end.”

Ha gyalogosokkal futsz, és kifárasztanak téged, hogyan versenyezhetnél lovakkal? Ha csak békés földön vagy biztonságban, ugyan mit teszel majd a Jordán sűrűjében?

Hogyha gyalogokkal futsz, és elfárasztanak téged: mimódon versenyezhetnél a lovakkal? És [ha csak] békességes földön vagy bátorságban: ugyan mit cselekednél a Jordán hullámai között?

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

„Dacă, alergând cu cei ce aleargă pe picioare, ei te obosesc, cum vei putea să te iei la întrecere cu nişte cai? Şi, dacă nu te crezi la adăpost decât într-o ţară liniştită, ce vei face pe malurile îngâmfate ale Iordanului?

“If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you, how will you compete with horses? And if in a safe land you are so trusting, what will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?

Bizony még testvéreid és atyád háznépe is hűtlenül bánik veled, tele torokból kiabálnak utánad! Ne higgy nekik, még ha szépen beszélgetnek is veled!

Bizony még a te atyádfiai és a te atyádnak háznépe is: ők is hűtlenül bántak veled; ők is tele torokkal kiabáltak utánad! Ne higyj nékik, még ha szépen beszélgetnek is veled!

For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

Căci chiar fraţii tăi şi casa tatălui tău te vând, ei înşişi strigă în gura mare după tine. Nu-i crede când îţi vor spune vorbe prietenoase. –

For even your brothers and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you; they are in full cry after you; do not believe them, though they speak friendly words to you.”

Elhagytam házamat, eltaszítottam örökségemet, ellenségének kezébe adtam azt, akit lelkem szeret.

Elhagytam házamat; ellöktem örökségemet, ellenségének kezébe adtam azt, a kit lelkem szeret.

I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

Mi-am părăsit casa şi Mi-am lăsat moştenirea, Mi-am dat pe iubita Mea în mâinile vrăjmaşilor ei.

“I have forsaken my house; I have abandoned my heritage; I have given the beloved of my soul into the hands of her enemies.

Örökségem olyan lett nekem, mint az oroszlán az erdőben. Ordítva támadt ellenem, azért meggyűlöltem.

Az én örökségem olyanná lett hozzám, mint az oroszlán az erdőben; ordítva támadt ellenem; ezért gyűlölöm őt.

Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it.

Moştenirea Mea a ajuns pentru Mine ca un leu în pădure, a mugit împotriva Mea; şi de aceea o urăsc.

My heritage has become to me like a lion in the forest; she has lifted up her voice against me; therefore I hate her.

Tarka madár lenne az örökségem? Nem gyűlnek-e ellene a madarak mindenfelől? Jöjjetek, gyűljetek össze, ti mezei vadak mind, jöjjetek, egyetek!

Tarka madár-é az én örökségem nékem? Nem [gyűlnek-]é ellene madarak mindenfelől? Jőjjetek, seregeljetek össze mind ti mezei vadak; siessetek az evésre!

Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.

A ajuns oare moştenirea Mea pentru Mine o pasăre de pradă pestriţă, în jurul căreia se strâng păsările de pradă? – Duceţi-vă şi strângeţi toate fiarele câmpului, aduceţi-le ca s-o mănânce! –

Is my heritage to me like a hyena’s lair? Are the birds of prey against her all around? Go, assemble all the wild beasts; bring them to devour.

Sok pásztor pusztította szőlőmet, taposta osztályrészemet. Drága örökségemet sivatagos pusztává tették.

Sok pásztor pusztította az én szőlőmet, taposta az én osztályrészemet; az én drága örökségemet sivatag pusztává tették!

Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

Un mare număr de păstori Îmi pustiesc via, Îmi calcă ogorul în picioare; ogorul Meu cel plăcut îl prefac într-un pustiu părăsit.

Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard; they have trampled down my portion; they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

Pusztává tették, gyászban van előttem, mint a kopár föld! Elpusztult az egész ország, de senki sincs, aki észrevenné.

Pusztává tették, felém sír, mint puszta! Elpusztíttatik az egész föld, mert nincs senki, a ki eszére térjen.

They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart.

Îl pustiesc, şi el stă trist şi pustiit înaintea Mea. Toată ţara este pustiită, căci nimeni nu ia seama la ea.

They have made it a desolation; desolate, it mourns to me. The whole land is made desolate, but no man lays it to heart.

A puszta minden magaslatára pusztítók érkeznek, mert az ÚR fegyvere emészti az országot egyik szélétől a másik széléig. Senkinek sincs békessége.

A pusztában levő minden magaslatra pusztítók érkeznek, mert az Úr fegyvere emészt a föld egyik szélétől a föld másik széléig; senkinek sem lesz békessége.

The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

Peste toate înălţimile pustiului vin pustiitori, căci sabia Domnului mănâncă ţara de la un capăt la altul; şi nimeni nu-i lăsat în pace.

Upon all the bare heights in the desert destroyers have come, for the sword of the LORD devours from one end of the land to the other; no flesh has peace.

Búzát vetettek, és tövist aratnak, fáradoznak, de nem boldogulnak. Szégyent vallanak jövedelmükkel az ÚR izzó haragja miatt.

Búzát vetettek és tövist aratnak; fáradnak, [de] nem boldogulnak, és szégyent vallotok a ti jövedelmetekkel az Úr haragjának búsulása miatt.

They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

Au semănat grâu, şi seceră spini, s-au ostenit fără folos. – Să vă fie ruşine de ce culegeţi în urma mâniei aprinse a Domnului!” –

They have sown wheat and have reaped thorns; they have tired themselves out but profit nothing. They shall be ashamed of their harvests because of the fierce anger of the LORD.”

Azt mondja az ÚR minden gonosz szomszédom felől, aki hozzányúl az örökséghez, amelyet örökül adtam népemnek, Izráelnek: Íme, kigyomlálom őket földjükből, és Júda házát is kigyomlálom közülük!

Ezt mondja az Úr minden én gonosz szomszédom felől, a kik hozzányúlnak az én örökségemhez, a melyet örökségül adtam az én népemnek, Izráelnek: Ímé, én kigyomlálom őket az ő földükből, és Júda házát [is] kigyomlálom közülök!

Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul despre toţi vecinii Mei cei răi care se ating de moştenirea pe care am dat-o poporului Meu, Israel: „Iată, îi voi smulge din ţara lor şi voi smulge casa lui Iuda din mijlocul lor.

Thus says the LORD concerning all my evil neighbors who touch the heritage that I have given my people Israel to inherit: “Behold, I will pluck them up from their land, and I will pluck up the house of Judah from among them.

De ha már kigyomláltam őket, ismét megkönyörülök rajtuk, és visszahozom őket, mindenkit a maga örökségébe, a maga földjére.

És azután, ha majd kigyomlálom őket, ismét könyörülök rajtok, és visszahozom őket, kit-kit az ő örökségébe, és kit-kit az ő földére.

And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

Dar, după ce-i voi smulge, voi avea iarăşi milă de ei şi-i voi aduce înapoi pe fiecare în moştenirea lui şi pe fiecare în ţara lui.

And after I have plucked them up, I will again have compassion on them, and I will bring them again each to his heritage and each to his land.

Ha jól megtanulják népem útjait, és így esküsznek nevemre: „Él az ÚR!” – ahogy megtanították népemet a Baalra esküdni –, akkor újjáépülnek majd népem között.

És ha megtanulják az én népemnek utait, és az én nevemre esküsznek [ilyen módon:] Él az Úr! a mint megtanították népemet megesküdni a Baálra: akkor felépülnek majd népem között.

And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

Şi dacă vor învăţa căile poporului Meu, dacă vor jura pe Numele Meu zicând: „Viu este Domnul!”, cum au învăţat pe poporul Meu să jure pe Baal, atunci vor fi fericiţi în mijlocul poporului Meu.

And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, ‘As the LORD lives,’ even as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they shall be built up in the midst of my people.

Ha pedig nem hallgatnak rám, akkor bizony kigyomlálom azt a népet, és elveszítem – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Ha pedig nem hallgatnak meg, akkor bizony kigyomlálom azt a népet, és elvesztem, azt mondja az Úr.

But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.

Dar dacă nu vor asculta nimic, voi nimici cu desăvârşire pe un astfel de popor, îl voi nimici şi îl voi pierde, zice Domnul.”

But if any nation will not listen, then I will utterly pluck it up and destroy it, declares the LORD.”
