Így szól az ÚR: Íme, pusztító szelet támasztok Babilón ellen és Káldea lakói ellen.

Ezt mondja az Úr: Ímé, én pusztító szelet támasztok Babilon ellen és azok ellen, a kik az én ellenségem szívében lakoznak.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată, ridic împotriva Babilonului şi împotriva locuitorilor Haldeii un vânt nimicitor.

Thus says the LORD: “Behold, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon, against the inhabitants of Leb-kamai,

Idegeneket küldök Babilón ellen, szétszórják őt, és kiüresítik földjét, mert ellene támadnak mindenfelől a veszedelem napján.

És szórókat küldök Babilon ellen, és felszórják őt, és földét kiüresítik, mert mindenfelől ellene lesznek a veszedelem napján.

And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

Trimit împotriva Babilonului nişte vânturători care-l vor vântura şi-i vor goli ţara. Vor veni din toate părţile asupra lui, în ziua nenorocirii.

and I will send to Babylon winnowers, and they shall winnow her, and they shall empty her land, when they come against her from every side on the day of trouble.

Az íjász vonja föl íját, és öltse magára páncélját! Ne kedvezzetek ifjainak, öljétek le egész seregét!

A kézívesre kézíves vonja fel íjját, és arra, a ki pánczéljába öltözik. Ne kedvezzetek ifjainak, öldössétek le egész seregét:

Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

Să se întindă arcul împotriva celui ce îşi întinde arcul, împotriva celui ce se mândreşte în platoşa lui! Nu cruţaţi pe tinerii lui! Nimiciţi cu desăvârşire toată oştirea lui!

Let not the archer bend his bow, and let him not stand up in his armor. Spare not her young men; devote to destruction all her army.

Essenek el a leszúrtak a káldeusok földjén és az átdöföttek az utcákon!

És essenek el megöletve a Káldeusok földén, és átverve az ő utczáin.

Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.

Să cadă ucişi în ţara haldeilor, străpunşi de lovituri pe uliţele Babilonului!

They shall fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and wounded in her streets.

Mert nem hagyta el Izráelt és Júdát Istene, a Seregek URa, noha földjük tele van vétekkel Izráel Szentje ellen.

Mert nem hagyatott el Izráel és Júda az ő Istenétől, a Seregek Urától, noha az ő földök rakva vétekkel az Izráelnek Szentje ellen.

For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.

Căci Israelul şi Iuda nu sunt părăsiţi de Dumnezeul lor, de Domnul oştirilor, şi ţara haldeilor este plină de nelegiuiri împotriva Sfântului lui Israel.”

For Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the LORD of hosts, but the land of the Chaldeans is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

Fussatok ki Babilónból, és mentse mindenki a lelkét, ne vesszetek el az ő bűne miatt, mert az ÚR bosszúállásának ideje ez, megfizet neki érdeme szerint.

Fussatok ki Babilonból, és kiki mentse meg az ő lelkét, ne veszszetek el az ő gonoszságáért, mert az Úr bosszúállásának ideje ez, megfizet néki érdem szerint.

Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

Fugiţi din Babilon şi fiecare să-şi scape viaţa, ca nu cumva să pieriţi în pieirea lui! Căci aceasta este o vreme de răzbunare pentru Domnul! El îi va răsplăti după faptele lui.

“Flee from the midst of Babylon; let every one save his life! Be not cut off in her punishment, for this is the time of the LORD’s vengeance, the repayment he is rendering her.

Aranypohár volt Babilón az ÚR kezében, amely megrészegítette az egész földet. Nemzetek ittak borából, amely megrészegítette a nemzeteket.

Arany pohár volt Babilon az Úr kezében, a mely megrészegíté ez egész földet; nemzetek ittak az ő borából, azért bolondultak meg a nemzetek.

Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Babilonul era în mâna Domnului un potir de aur care îmbăta tot pământul; neamurile au băut din vinul lui; de aceea au fost neamurile ca într-o nebunie.

Babylon was a golden cup in the LORD’s hand, making all the earth drunken; the nations drank of her wine; therefore the nations went mad.

Hamar elesett Babilón, és összeomlott, jajgassatok miatta! Hozzatok balzsamot sebére, hátha meggyógyul!

Hamar elesett Babilon és összeomlott, jajgassatok felette, kössétek be balzsammal az ő sebét, hátha meggyógyul!

Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Deodată cade Babilonul şi este zdrobit! Văitaţi-l, aduceţi leac alinător pentru rana lui; poate că se va vindeca! –

Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; wail for her! Take balm for her pain; perhaps she may be healed.

Gyógyítgattuk Babilónt, de nem gyógyult meg. Hagyjátok el őt, és menjünk el mindnyájan a saját földünkre! Mert az égig hatott ítélete, a felhőkig emelkedett.

Gyógyítottuk Babilont, de nem gyógyult meg. Hagyjátok el őt, és menjünk kiki a maga földére, mert az égig hatott az ő ítélete, és felemelkedett a felhőkig.

We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

Am voit să vindecăm Babilonul, dar nu s-a vindecat! Părăsiţi-l, şi haidem fiecare în ţara noastră, căci pedeapsa lui a ajuns până la ceruri şi se înalţă până la nori. –

We would have healed Babylon, but she was not healed. Forsake her, and let us go each to his own country, for her judgment has reached up to heaven and has been lifted up even to the skies.

Napfényre hozta az ÚR a mi igazságunkat, gyertek, és beszéljük el a Sionon az ÚRnak, a mi Istenünknek dolgait!

Kihozta az Úr a mi igazságainkat, jertek és beszéljük meg Sionban az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek dolgát.

The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

Domnul scoate la lumină dreptatea pricinii noastre: veniţi să istorisim în Sion lucrarea Domnului Dumnezeului nostru.

The LORD has brought about our vindication; come, let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

Élesítsétek a nyilakat, készítsétek a pajzsokat! Fölindította az ÚR a méd királyok lelkét, mert szándéka Babilón ellen fordult, hogy elveszítse. Bizony, az ÚR bosszúállása ez, templomáért való bosszúállása!

Élesítsétek a nyilakat, töltsétek meg a tegzeket; felindította az Úr a Médiabeli királyok lelkét, mert Babilon ellen van az ő gondolatja, hogy elveszesse azt, mert az Úr bosszúállása ez, az ő templomáért való bosszúállása.

Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

Ascuţiţi săgeţile, prindeţi scuturile! Domnul a aţâţat duhul împăraţilor Mediei, pentru că vrea să nimicească Babilonul; căci aceasta este răzbunarea Domnului, răzbunarea pentru Templul Său.

“Sharpen the arrows! Take up the shields! The LORD has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose concerning Babylon is to destroy it, for that is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance for his temple.

Tűzzétek ki a zászlót Babilón kőfalaival szemben, erősítsétek meg az őrséget! Rendeljetek őröket, állítsatok lesbe csapatokat, mert az ÚR elgondolta és meg is cselekszi mindazt, amit Babilón lakói ellen szólt.

Babilonnak kőfalain tűzzétek ki a zászlót, erősítsétek meg az őrséget, szerezzetek vigyázókat, rendeljétek el a leseket: mert az Úr meggondolta és meg is cselekszi azokat, a miket szólott Babilon lakói ellen.

Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Înălţaţi un steag împotriva zidurilor Babilonului! Întăriţi-i străjile, puneţi caraule, întindeţi curse! Căci Domnul a luat o hotărâre şi aduce la îndeplinire ce a rostit împotriva locuitorilor Babilonului.

“Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon; make the watch strong; set up watchmen; prepare the ambushes; for the LORD has both planned and done what he spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

Te, aki nagy vizek mellett laksz, és tömérdek kincsed van, eljött a véged, rablásod betelt!

Oh te, a ki lakozol a nagy vizek mellett, a kinek kincsed temérdek, eljött a te véged [és] a te rablásod határa!

O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.

Tu, care locuieşti lângă ape mari şi care ai vistierii nemărginite, ţi-a venit sfârşitul, şi lăcomia ta a ajuns la capăt!

O you who dwell by many waters, rich in treasures, your end has come; the thread of your life is cut.

Megesküdött a Seregek URa a lelkére, és ezt mondta: Bizony, úgy betöltelek téged emberekkel, mint sáskákkal, és diadaléneket énekelnek fölötted!

Megesküdt a Seregek Ura az ő lelkére, mondván: Bizony betöltelek téged emberekkel, mint sáskákkal, és diadalmas éneket énekelnek felőled.

The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

Domnul oştirilor a jurat pe Sine însuşi: „Da, te voi umple de oameni ca de nişte lăcuste, şi vor scoate strigăte de război împotriva ta.”

The LORD of hosts has sworn by himself: Surely I will fill you with men, as many as locusts, and they shall raise the shout of victory over you.

Ő alkotta a földet erejével, bölcsességével szilárdította meg a világot, és értelmével terjesztette ki az egeket.

Az, a ki teremtette a földet az ő erejével, a ki megalapította a világot az ő bölcsességével, és kiterjesztette az egeket az ő értelmével.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

El a făcut pământul cu puterea Lui, a întemeiat lumea cu înţelepciunea Lui, a întins cerurile cu priceperea Lui.

“It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

Nagy hangjára vizek zúgása támad az égben, és felhőket hoz föl a föld határairól, villámokat készít az esőhöz, és előhozza a szelet tárházából.

Egy szavával vizek zúgását szerez az égben, és felhőket visz fel a föld határairól, villámokat készít az esőhöz, és kihozza a szelet az ő tárházaiból.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

De glasul Lui urlă apele în ceruri; El ridică norii de la marginile pământului, dă naştere la fulgere şi ploaie şi scoate vântul din cămările lui.

When he utters his voice there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and he brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

Tudás híján minden ember bolond. Minden ötvös megszégyenül bálványa miatt, mert hazugság az öntvénye: nincs benne lélek.

Minden ember bolonddá lett tudomány nélkül, minden ötvös megszégyenül a maga bálványa miatt, mert hazugság az ő öntése és nincs benne lélek.

Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Atunci orice om se vede cât este de prost cu ştiinţa lui, orice argintar rămâne ruşinat de chipurile lui cioplite; căci idolii lui nu sunt decât minciună şi n-au nicio suflare în ei!

Every man is stupid and without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, for his images are false, and there is no breath in them.

Hiábavalóságok ezek, nevetséges művek, amelyek elvesznek büntetésük idején.

Hiábavalóságok ezek, nevetségre való művek, az ő megfenyíttetésök idején elvesznek.

They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

Sunt o nimica toată şi o lucrare de râs: când le vine pedeapsa, pier cu desăvârşire!

They are worthless, a work of delusion; at the time of their punishment they shall perish.

De nem ilyen Jákób öröksége! Mert ő a mindenség formálója és Izráel törzse örökségének pálcája: Seregek URa a neve!

Nem ilyen a Jákób osztályrésze mert mindennek teremtője és az ő örökségének pálczája, Seregek Ura az ő neve!

The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.

Dar Cel ce este partea lui Iacov nu este ca ei; căci El a întocmit totul, şi Israel este seminţia moştenirii Lui: Domnul oştirilor este numele Lui.

Not like these is he who is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the LORD of hosts is his name.

Pörölyöm voltál, harci fegyverem, és nemzeteket zúztam veled össze, országokat pusztítottam el veled.

Pőrölyöm vagy te nékem, hadi fegyverem, és nemzeteket zúztam össze veled, és országokat vesztettem el veled.

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

„Tu Mi-ai fost un ciocan şi o unealtă de război. Am zdrobit neamuri prin tine, am nimicit împărăţii prin tine.

“You are my hammer and weapon of war: with you I break nations in pieces; with you I destroy kingdoms;

Általad zúztam össze lovakat és lovasaikat, és általad zúztam össze a harci szekeret és a benne ülőt.

És általad zúztam össze a lovakat és lovagjaikat, és általad zúztam össze a szekeret és a benne ülőt.

And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;

Prin tine am sfărâmat pe cal şi pe călăreţul lui;

with you I break in pieces the horse and his rider; with you I break in pieces the chariot and the charioteer;

Általad zúztam össze férfit és asszonyt, általad zúztam össze vént és gyermeket, általad zúztam össze ifjat és szüzet.

És összezúztam általad férfit és asszonyt, és összezúztam általad a vénet és a gyermeket, és összezúztam általad az ifjat és a szűzet,

With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;

prin tine am sfărâmat carul şi pe cel ce şedea în el. Prin tine am sfărâmat pe bărbat şi pe femeie; prin tine am sfărâmat pe bătrân şi pe copil; prin tine am sfărâmat pe tânăr şi pe fată.

with you I break in pieces man and woman; with you I break in pieces the old man and the youth; with you I break in pieces the young man and the young woman;

Általad zúztam össze a pásztort és nyáját, általad zúztam össze a szántóvetőt és igavonó jószágát, és általad zúztam össze a helytartókat és a főembereket.

És összezúztam általad a pásztort és nyáját, és összezúztam általad a szántóvetőt és az ő igamarháját, és összezúztam általad a hadnagyokat és a főembereket.

I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

Prin tine am sfărâmat pe păstor şi turma lui; prin tine am sfărâmat pe plugar şi boii lui; prin tine am sfărâmat pe cârmuitor şi pe căpeteniile lui.

with you I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; with you I break in pieces the farmer and his team; with you I break in pieces governors and commanders.

Megfizetek Babilónnak és Káldea minden lakosának mindazért a gonoszságért, amelyet a Sionon cselekedtek szemetek láttára – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És megfizetek Babilonnak és Káldea minden lakosának mindazokért az ő gonoszságaikért, a melyeket Sionban cselekedtek a ti szemeitek láttára, azt mondja az Úr.

And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD.

Dar acum, voi răsplăti Babilonului şi tuturor locuitorilor Haldeii tot răul pe care l-au făcut Sionului, sub ochii voştri, zice Domnul.

“I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chaldea before your very eyes for all the evil that they have done in Zion, declares the LORD.

Íme, ellened fordulok, te romlásnak hegye – ezt mondja az ÚR –, aki az egész földet leromboltad! Kinyújtom kezemet ellened, lehengerítlek a kőszikláról, és leégett heggyé teszlek.

Ímé, én ellened [fordulok], te romlásnak hegye, azt mondja az Úr, a ki az egész földet megrontottad, és kinyújtom reád kezemet, és levetlek téged a kőszikláról, és kiégett hegygyé teszlek téged.

Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

Iată, am necaz pe tine, munte nimicitor, zice Domnul, pe tine, care nimiceai tot pământul! Îmi voi întinde mâna peste tine, te voi prăvăli de la înălţimea stâncilor şi te voi preface într-un munte aprins.

“Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, declares the LORD, which destroys the whole earth; I will stretch out my hand against you, and roll you down from the crags, and make you a burnt mountain.

Nem vesznek belőled követ szegletkőnek és alapkőnek, mert örökre pusztaság leszel – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És belőled nem visznek követ a szegletre és a fundamentomra, mert örökkévaló pusztaság leszel, azt mondja az Úr.

And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.

Nu se vor mai scoate din tine nici pietre din capul unghiului clădirii, nici pietre pentru temelii; căci vei fi o dărâmătură veşnică, zice Domnul…”

No stone shall be taken from you for a corner and no stone for a foundation, but you shall be a perpetual waste, declares the LORD.

Tűzzétek ki a zászlót az országban, fújjátok meg a kürtöt a népek között! Készítsétek föl ellene a nemzeteket, hívjátok össze ellene Arárát, Minni és Askenáz országait! Válasszatok ellene hadvezért, vonultassátok föl a lovakat, mint rettenetes sáskahadat!

Tűzzétek ki a zászlót az országban, fújjátok meg a trombitát a nemzetek között, avassátok fel ellene a nemzeteket, gyűjtsétek össze ellene az Ararátnak, Menninek és Askenáznak országait, válaszszatok ő ellene hadvezért, hozzátok ki a lovakat mint rettenetes sáskasereget.

Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.

Înălţaţi un steag pe pământ! Sunaţi din trâmbiţă printre neamuri! Pregătiţi neamurile împotriva lui, chemaţi împotriva lui împărăţiile Araratului, Miniului şi Aşchenazului! Puneţi căpetenii de oaste împotriva lui! Faceţi să înainteze caii ca nişte lăcuste zbârlite!

“Set up a standard on the earth; blow the trumpet among the nations; prepare the nations for war against her; summon against her the kingdoms, Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz; appoint a marshal against her; bring up horses like bristling locusts.

Készítsétek föl ellene a népeket, a médek királyait, helytartóit és minden főemberét és birodalmuk egész földjét!

Avassátok fel ellene a nemzeteket, Médiának királyait, az ő hadnagyait és minden főemberét, és az ő birodalmának egész földét.

Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.

Pregătiţi împotriva lui pe neamuri, pe împăraţii Mediei, pe cârmuitorii lui şi pe toate căpeteniile lui, şi toată ţara de sub stăpânirea lor!

Prepare the nations for war against her, the kings of the Medes, with their governors and deputies, and every land under their dominion.

Megrendül a föld és rázkódik, mert beteljesednek az ÚR gondolatai Babilón ellen, amikor Babilón földjét pusztasággá, lakatlanná teszi.

És megrendül a föld és rázkódik, mert az Úrnak gondolatai beteljesednek Babilon ellen, hogy Babilon földét pusztasággá, lakatlanná tegye.

And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

Se clatină pământul, se cutremură; căci planul Domnului împotriva Babilonului se împlineşte; şi El va face din ţara Babilonului un pustiu nelocuit.

The land trembles and writhes in pain, for the LORD’s purposes against Babylon stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

Babilón hősei fölhagytak a küzdelemmel, erődeikben ülnek. Vége szakadt vitézségüknek, asszonyokká lettek. Fölgyújtották Babilón lakhelyeit, letörték zárait.

Babilon vitézei felhagytak a viadallal, erősségeikben ülnek, elfogyott a vitézségök, asszonyokká lettek, felgyújtották lakhelyeit, zárait letörték.

The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken.

Vitejii Babilonului nu mai luptă, ci stau în cetăţui; puterea le este sleită şi au ajuns ca nişte femei. Vrăjmaşii pun foc locuinţelor lor şi le sfărâmă zăvoarele!

The warriors of Babylon have ceased fighting; they remain in their strongholds; their strength has failed; they have become women; her dwellings are on fire; her bars are broken.

Futár futár után fut, és hírmondó hírmondó után, hogy jelentse a babilóni királynak: megszállták városát mindenfelől.

One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end,

One runner runs to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to tell the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every side;

A réveket elfoglalták, tűz égette föl a mocsarakat, és a harcosok megrettentek.

És a révhelyek elfoglaltattak, és az álló tavak tűzzel kiszáríttattak, és a vitézek elrettentek.

And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

că trecătorile sunt luate, bălţile cu trestie sunt uscate de foc, şi oamenii de război, îngroziţi.”

the fords have been seized, the marshes are burned with fire, and the soldiers are in panic.

Mert azt mondja a Seregek URa, Izráel Istene: Olyan lett Babilón leánya, mint a szérű, itt van taposásának ideje. Kis híja még, és eljön aratásának ideje.

Mert ezt mondja a seregek Ura, az Izráel Istene: Babilon leánya olyan, mint a szérű, itt van az ő tapostatásának ideje, egy kis híja még, és eljő az ő aratásának ideje.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

Elnyelt, megemésztett engem Nebukadneccar, a babilóni király, üres edénnyé tett. Elnyelt engem, mint egy sárkány, megtöltötte hasát csemegéimmel, és kivetett engem.

Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.

“Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me; he has crushed me; he has made me an empty vessel; he has swallowed me like a monster; he has filled his stomach with my delicacies; he has rinsed me out.

A rajtam és társaimon esett erőszak szálljon Babilónra! – mondja ezt Sion lakója. Vérem Káldea lakosaira! – mondja ezt Jeruzsálem.

Az én rajtam esett erőszak és az én testem Babilonra [térjen,] azt mondja a Sionnak lakója, és az én vérem Káldeának lakosaira, azt mondja Jeruzsálem!

The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

The violence done to me and to my kinsmen be upon Babylon,” let the inhabitant of Zion say. “My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea,” let Jerusalem say.

Therefore thus says the LORD: “Behold, I will plead your cause and take vengeance for you. I will dry up her sea and make her fountain dry,

Kőrakássá lesz Babilón, sakálok lakhelyévé; kietlenné, iszonyatossá lesz és lakatlanná.

And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

Babilonul va ajunge un morman de dărâmături, o vizuină de şacali, un pustiu şi o batjocură, şi nu va mai avea locuitori.

and Babylon shall become a heap of ruins, the haunt of jackals, a horror and a hissing, without inhabitant.

Együtt ordítanak, mint az ifjú oroszlánok, morognak, mint az oroszlánkölykök.

They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions' whelps.

While they are inflamed I will prepare them a feast and make them drunk, that they may become merry, then sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake, declares the LORD.

How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!

“How Babylon is taken, the praise of the whole earth seized! How Babylon has become a horror among the nations!

Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

Her cities have become a horror, a land of drought and a desert, a land in which no one dwells, and through which no son of man passes.

Megbüntetem Bélt Babilónban, és kihúzom szájából, amit lenyelt, és többé nem tódulnak hozzá a népek, és Babilón kőfala is ledől.

Megfenyítem Bélt is Babilonban, és kivonom szájából, a mit benyelt, és többé nem futnak hozzá a nemzetek, Babilonnak kőfala is ledől.

And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and take out of his mouth what he has swallowed. The nations shall no longer flow to him; the wall of Babylon has fallen.

My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Ieşiţi din mijlocul lui, poporul Meu, şi fiecare să-şi scape viaţa scăpând de mânia aprinsă a Domnului!

“Go out of the midst of her, my people! Let every one save his life from the fierce anger of the LORD!

Ne olvadjon meg a szívetek, és ne féljetek a hírektől, amelyeket hallani a földön, amikor egyik esztendőben ilyen hír járja, a másik esztendőben pedig amolyan hír, hogy erőszakosság van a földön, és uralkodó tör uralkodóra!

És el ne olvadjon a ti szívetek és ne féljetek a hírtől, a mely hallatszik e földön, mikor egyik esztendőben hír jő, és a másik esztendőben is a hír, hogy erőszakosság van a földön, uralkodó [tör] uralkodóra!

And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

Să nu vi se tulbure inima şi nu vă înspăimântaţi de zvonurile care se răspândesc în ţară; căci anul acesta va veni un zvon, iar anul următor un alt zvon; în ţară va domni silnicia, şi un stăpânitor se va ridica împotriva altui stăpânitor.

Let not your heart faint, and be not fearful at the report heard in the land, when a report comes in one year and afterward a report in another year, and violence is in the land, and ruler is against ruler.

Mert íme, eljönnek majd a napok, és megbüntetem Babilónt faragott képeiért, és egész földje megszégyenül, és elhull benne minden halálra sebzett.

Azért ímé, eljőnek a napok, és meglátogatom Babilon faragott képeit, és egész földe megszégyenül, és minden ő megöltjei elhullanak ő közötte.

Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

De aceea, iată, vin zile când voi pedepsi idolii Babilonului: atunci toată ţara lui va fi acoperită de ruşine, şi toţi morţii lui vor cădea în mijlocul lui.

“Therefore, behold, the days are coming when I will punish the images of Babylon; her whole land shall be put to shame, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

És ujjong majd Babilón fölött az ég és a föld és minden, ami bennük van, mert pusztítók támadnak rá észak felől – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És örvendeznek Babilon felett az ég és a föld és minden benne valók, mert észak felől eljőnek reá a pusztítók, azt mondja az Úr.

Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.

Cerurile şi pământul cu tot ce cuprind ele vor striga de bucurie asupra Babilonului, căci pustiitorii se vor arunca de la miazănoapte asupra lui, zice Domnul.”

Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for joy over Babylon, for the destroyers shall come against them out of the north, declares the LORD.

As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.

Babylon must fall for the slain of Israel, just as for Babylon have fallen the slain of all the earth.

Menjetek el, akik megmenekültetek a fegyvertől, meg ne álljatok! Emlékezzetek meg a távolból is az ÚRról, és jusson eszetekbe Jeruzsálem!

Menjetek el, a kik megszabadultatok a fegyvertől, meg ne álljatok; emlékezzetek meg a távolból az Úrról, és jusson eszetekbe Jeruzsálem.

Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

Cei care aţi scăpat de sabie plecaţi, nu zăboviţi! Cei din pământul depărtat gândiţi-vă la Domnul, şi Ierusalimul să fie în inimile voastre! –

“You who have escaped from the sword, go, do not stand still! Remember the LORD from far away, and let Jerusalem come into your mind:

Szégyenkeztünk, mert hallottuk a gyalázkodást, arcunkat szégyenpír borította, mert idegenek törtek az ÚR házának szentélyébe.

Megszégyenültünk, mert hallottuk a gyalázkodást, orczáinkat szégyen borította, mert idegenek jöttek az Úr házának szentségébe.

We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD's house.

Ne ruşinam, când auzeam ocara; ne ascundeam feţele de ruşine, când au venit nişte străini în sfântul locaş al Casei Domnului.

‘We are put to shame, for we have heard reproach; dishonor has covered our face, for foreigners have come into the holy places of the LORD’s house.’

Ezért íme, eljönnek majd a napok – ezt mondja az ÚR –, és megbüntetem Babilónt faragott képeiért, és egész földjén sebesültek nyögnek.

Azért ímé, eljőnek a napok, azt mondja az Úr, és meglátogatom az ő faragott képeit, és egész földén sebesültek nyögnek.

Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

„De aceea, iată, vin zile, zice Domnul, când îi voi pedepsi idolii, şi în toată ţara lui vor geme răniţii.

“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will execute judgment upon her images, and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

Ha az égbe hág is föl Babilón, és ha megerősíti is erős magaslatát, akkor is rátörnek a pusztítók, akiket én küldök – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Ha az égbe hág is fel Babilon, és ha megerősíti is az ő erős magaslatát, pusztítók törnek reá tőlem, azt mondja az Úr.

Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.

Chiar dacă Babilonul s-ar înălţa până la ceruri, chiar dacă ar face cu neputinţă de ajuns cetăţuile lui cele înalte, tot voi trimite pe pustiitori împotriva lui, zice Domnul…

Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify her strong height, yet destroyers would come from me against her, declares the LORD.

A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:

Mert elpusztítja az ÚR Babilónt, és elnémítja benne a nagy zajt, ha zúgnak is hullámai, mint a nagy vizek, és hallatszik is harsogásuk.

Mert elpusztítja az Úr Babilont, és kiveszíti belőle a nagy zajt, és zúgnak az ő habjai, mint a nagy vizek, hallatszik az ő szavok harsogása.

Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:

Căci Domnul pustieşte Babilonul şi face să-i înceteze zarva cea mare. Valurile pustiitorilor urlă ca nişte ape mari al căror vuiet tulburat se aude.

For the LORD is laying Babylon waste and stilling her mighty voice. Their waves roar like many waters; the noise of their voice is raised,

Because the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite.

Da, pustiitorul se aruncă asupra lui, asupra Babilonului; vitejii Babilonului sunt prinşi, şi li se sfărâmă arcurile. Căci Domnul este un Dumnezeu care răsplăteşte! El va da negreşit fiecăruia plata cuvenită lui!

for a destroyer has come upon her, upon Babylon; her warriors are taken; their bows are broken in pieces, for the LORD is a God of recompense; he will surely repay.

Megrészegítem fejedelmeit, bölcseit, helytartóit, főembereit és harcosait. Örök álomra szenderülnek, és nem ébrednek föl! – ezt mondja a Király, akinek Seregek URa a neve.

És megrészegítem az ő fejedelmeit, bölcseit, hadnagyait, tiszttartóit és vitézeit, és örök álmot alusznak, és nem serkennek fel, azt mondja a király, a kinek neve Seregek Ura!

And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Şi anume, voi îmbăta pe voievozii şi înţelepţii lui, pe cârmuitorii, pe căpeteniile şi vitejii lui; vor adormi somnul cel de veci şi nu se vor mai trezi, zice Împăratul, al cărui nume este Domnul oştirilor.”

I will make drunk her officials and her wise men, her governors, her commanders, and her warriors; they shall sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake, declares the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Azt mondja a Seregek URa: Babilón széles kőfalát földig rombolják, és büszke kapuit tűz égeti meg. A népek hiába munkálkodnak, és a tűzé lesz, amiért nemzetek fáradoztak.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.

“Thus says the LORD of hosts: The broad wall of Babylon shall be leveled to the ground, and her high gates shall be burned with fire. The peoples labor for nothing, and the nations weary themselves only for fire.”

Ez az a beszéd, amelyet Jeremiás próféta Szerájának, Nérijjá fiának, Mahszéjá unokájának mondott, amikor Babilónba ment Cidkijjával, Júda királyával királyságának negyedik esztendejében. Szerájá pedig szállásmester volt.

Ez a szó, a melylyel Jeremiás próféta utasította Seráját, Néria fiát, a ki a Mahásiás fia volt, mikor ő Babilonba méne Sedékiással, a Júda királyával, királyságának negyedik esztendejében; Serája pedig szállásmester vala.

The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.

Iată porunca dată de prorocul Ieremia lui Seraia, fiul lui Neriia, fiul lui Mahseia, când s-a dus la Babilon cu Zedechia, împăratul lui Iuda, în al patrulea an al domniei lui Zedechia. Seraia era cel mai mare cămăraş.

The word that Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah king of Judah to Babylon, in the fourth year of his reign. Seraiah was the quartermaster.

Jeremiás leírta egy irattekercsre mindazt a veszedelmet, amely Babilónt fogja érni, mindazokat a beszédeket, amelyek föl lettek jegyezve Babilónról.

So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.

Jeremiah wrote in a book all the disaster that should come upon Babylon, all these words that are written concerning Babylon.

Azt mondta Jeremiás Szerájának: Amikor Babilónba érsz, láss neki, és olvasd föl mindezeket a szavakat!

És monda Jeremiás Serájának: Mikor Babilonba jutsz, és látod és elolvasod mind e szókat,

And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words;

And Jeremiah said to Seraiah: “When you come to Babylon, see that you read all these words,

Ezt mondd: URam, te szóltál e hely ellen, hogy elveszítsed, és ne legyen lakója, sem ember, sem állat, hanem örökre pusztaság legyen.

Ezt mondjad: Uram, te szólottál e hely ellen, hogy elveszítsed ezt annyira, hogy lakó ne legyen benne embertől baromig, hanem örökkévaló pusztaság legyen.

Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

and say, ‘O LORD, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so that nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be desolate forever.’

And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

Ezt mondd: Így merül el Babilón, és bármit tegyen is, nem kel föl többé a veszedelem miatt, amelyet én hozok rá. Eddig tartanak Jeremiás beszédei.

És ezt mondd: Így merül el Babilon, és meg nem menekedik a veszedelemtől, a melyet én hozok reá, [akármint] fáradjanak. Eddig vannak a Jeremiás beszédei.

And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
