The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

Cuvântul pe care l-a spus prorocul Ieremia către Baruc, fiul lui Neriia, când a scris într-o carte cuvintele acestea, după spusele lui Ieremia, în al patrulea an al lui Ioiachim, fiul lui Iosia, împăratul lui Iuda, sună astfel:

The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the dictation of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:

Azt mondja az ÚR, Izráel Istene rólad, Bárúk:

Ezt mondja az Úr, Izráel Istene, te néked, Báruk:

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch:

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel despre tine, Baruc:

“Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to you, O Baruch:

Ezt mondtad: Jaj nekem most, mert az ÚR a bánatomhoz még fájdalmat is adott; elfáradtam a sóhajtozásban, és nem találok nyugalmat!

Ezt mondottad: Jaj mostan nékem, mert az Úr az én bánatomra fájdalmat adott, elfáradtam az én fohászkodásomban, és nyugodalmat nem találtam.

Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

„Tu zici: „Vai de mine! Căci Domnul a adus întristare peste durerea mea; îmi sleiesc puterile suspinând, şi nu găsesc odihnă!”

You said, ‘Woe is me! For the LORD has added sorrow to my pain. I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.’

Ezt mondd neki: Azt mondja az ÚR: Íme, amit fölépítettem, azt most lerontom, és amit elültettem, azt kiszaggatom az egész országban.

Ezt mondd néki: Ezt mondja az Úr: Ímé, a kiket én felépítettem, elrontom, és a kiket én beplántáltam, kiszaggatom, és pedig az egész földön.

Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.

Spune-i: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată că ce am zidit voi dărâma; ce am sădit voi smulge, şi anume ţara aceasta.

Thus shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD: Behold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up—that is, the whole land.

És te nagy dolgokat kívánsz magadnak? Ne kívánj; mert íme, veszedelmet bocsátok minden testre – ezt mondja az ÚR –, de életedet ajándékul adom neked mindenütt, ahol csak jársz.

És te kivánsz-é magadnak nagyokat? Ne kivánj; mert ímé én veszedelmet bocsátok minden testre, ezt mondja az Úr, és a te lelkedet zsákmányul adom néked, minden helyen, a hová elmégy.

And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.

Şi tu umbli după lucruri mari? Nu umbla după ele! Căci iată, voi aduce nenorocirea peste orice făptură, zice Domnul, dar ţie îţi voi da ca pradă de război viaţa ta, în toate locurile unde vei merge.”

And do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not, for behold, I am bringing disaster upon all flesh, declares the LORD. But I will give you your life as a prize of war in all places to which you may go.”
