Konjáhú, Jójákim fia helyett Cidkijjá király, Jósiás fia uralkodott, akit Nebukadneccar babilóni király tett királlyá Júda földjén.

Uralkodott pedig Sedékiás király, Jósiásnak fia, Kónia helyett, a ki Jojákimnak fia vala, kit Nabukodonozor, a babiloni király királylyá tett vala Júdának földében.

And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.

În locul lui Ieconia, fiul lui Ioiachim, a început să domnească Zedechia, fiul lui Iosia. El a fost pus împărat în ţara lui Iuda de Nebucadneţar, împăratul Babilonului.

Zedekiah the son of Josiah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah, reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim.

De nem hallgatott sem ő, sem szolgái, sem az ország népe az ÚR szavára, amelyet Jeremiás próféta által szólt.

De nem hallgatá sem ő, sem az ő szolgái, sem a föld népe az Úrnak szavát, a melyet szólott vala Jeremiás próféta által.

But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of the LORD, which he spake by the prophet Jeremiah.

Dar nici el, nici slujitorii lui, nici poporul din ţară n-au ascultat cuvintele pe care le-a rostit Domnul prin prorocul Ieremia.

But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land listened to the words of the LORD that he spoke through Jeremiah the prophet.

Elküldte Cidkijjá király Júkalt, Selemjá fiát és Cefanjá papot, Maaszéjá fiát Jeremiás prófétához, és azt mondta: Kérlek, könyörögj értünk az ÚRhoz, a mi Istenünkhöz!

És elküldé Sedékiás király Júkált, Selémiának fiát, és Sofóniást, Mahásiás papnak fiát Jeremiás prófétához, mondván: Kérlek, könyörögj mi érettünk az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek.

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.

Împăratul Zedechia a trimis pe Iucal, fiul lui Şelemia, şi pe Ţefania, fiul lui Maaseia, preotul, la prorocul Ieremia să-i spună: „Mijloceşte pentru noi la Domnul Dumnezeul nostru.”

King Zedekiah sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the priest, the son of Maaseiah, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “Please pray for us to the LORD our God.”

Jeremiás pedig szabadon járt-kelt a nép között, mert még nem vetették börtönbe.

Jeremiás pedig be- és kimegy vala a nép között, mert még nem vetették vala őt be a tömlöczbe.

Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into prison.

Pe atunci Ieremia umbla slobod prin popor: nu-l aruncaseră încă în temniţă.

Now Jeremiah was still going in and out among the people, for he had not yet been put in prison.

Akkor vonult ki a fáraó serege Egyiptomból. Amikor a káldeusok, akik megszállták Jeruzsálemet, meghallották ennek hírét, elmentek Jeruzsálem alól.

A Faraó serege pedig kijött Égyiptomból, és a Káldeusok, a kik megszállották Jeruzsálemet, meghallották e hírt ő felőlök, és elhagyták Jeruzsálemet.

Then Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.

Oastea lui faraon ieşise din Egipt; şi haldeii care împresurau Ierusalimul, când auziseră vestea aceasta, plecaseră din Ierusalim.

The army of Pharaoh had come out of Egypt. And when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news about them, they withdrew from Jerusalem.

Ezt mondta az ÚR Jeremiás prófétának:

És szóla az Úr Jeremiás prófétának, mondván:

Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah saying,

Atunci cuvântul Domnului a vorbit prorocului Ieremia astfel:

Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet:

Így szól az ÚR, Izráel Istene: Ezt mondjátok Júda királyának, aki hozzám küldött benneteket, hogy megkérdezzetek engem: Íme, a fáraó serege, amely fölvonult segítségetekre, visszatér országába, Egyiptomba.

Ezt mondja az Úr, Izráel Istene: Ezt mondjátok a Júda királyának, a ki elküldött titeket én hozzám, hogy megkérdezzetek engem: Ímé, a Faraó serege, a mely kijött a ti segítségetekre, visszamegy Égyiptom földébe.

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Iată ce să spuneţi împăratului lui Iuda care v-a trimis la Mine să Mă întrebaţi: „Iată că oastea lui faraon care pornise să vă ajute se întoarce în ţara ei, în Egipt;

“Thus says the LORD, God of Israel: Thus shall you say to the king of Judah who sent you to me to inquire of me, ‘Behold, Pharaoh’s army that came to help you is about to return to Egypt, to its own land.

A káldeusok pedig újra ostromolni fogják e várost, és beveszik azt és fölégetik.

És visszatérnek a Káldeusok, és ostromolják e várost, és beveszik azt, és megégetik tűzzel.

And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.

iar haldeii se vor întoarce, vor bate iarăşi cetatea aceasta, o vor lua şi o vor arde cu foc.”

And the Chaldeans shall come back and fight against this city. They shall capture it and burn it with fire.

Azt mondja az ÚR: Ne csapjátok be magatokat e szavakkal: „Bizonyosan elvonulnak tőlünk a káldeusok”, mert nem vonulnak el!

Ezt mondja az Úr: Ne csaljátok meg magatokat, mondván: Bizonyoson elmennek mi rólunk a Káldeusok; mert nem mennek el.

Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Nu vă înşelaţi zicând: „Haldeii se vor depărta de la noi!”, căci nu se vor depărta!

Thus says the LORD, Do not deceive yourselves, saying, “The Chaldeans will surely go away from us,” for they will not go away.

Mert ha megvernétek is a káldeusok egész seregét, akik ostromolnak titeket, és közülük csak néhány sebesült maradna, mind fölkelnének sátrukból, és lángba borítanák e várost.

Mert ha a Káldeusoknak egész seregét megveritek is, a kik ostromolnak titeket, és közülök [csak] néhány megsebesült marad is: valamennyi felkél az ő sátorából, és megégetik e várost tűzzel.

For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.

Şi chiar dacă aţi bate toată oastea haldeilor care se războiesc cu voi, chiar dacă n-ar mai rămâne din ei decât vreo câţiva oameni răniţi, tot s-ar ridica fiecare din cortul lui şi ar arde cetatea aceasta cu foc.”

For even if you should defeat the whole army of Chaldeans who are fighting against you, and there remained of them only wounded men, every man in his tent, they would rise up and burn this city with fire.’”

Amikor elvonult a káldeusok serege Jeruzsálem alól a fáraó serege miatt,

És mikor a Káldeusok serege elvonula Jeruzsálem alól a Faraó serege miatt,

And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army,

Pe când se depărtase oastea haldeilor de Ierusalim, de frica oştii lui faraon,

Now when the Chaldean army had withdrawn from Jerusalem at the approach of Pharaoh’s army,

Jeremiás is kifelé indult Jeruzsálemből, hogy Benjámin földjére menjen, hogy megkapja osztályrészét népe között.

Jeremiás is kiindula Jeruzsálemből, menvén a Benjámin földére, hogy osztályrészt kapjon onnan a nép között.

Then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people.

Ieremia a vrut să iasă din Ierusalim ca să se ducă în ţara lui Beniamin şi să scape din mijlocul poporului.

Jeremiah set out from Jerusalem to go to the land of Benjamin to receive his portion there among the people.

Amikor pedig a Benjámin kapujához ért, ott volt az őrök parancsnoka, akinek a neve Jirijjá volt, Selemjá fia, Hananjá unokája, és elfogta Jeremiás prófétát, és azt mondta: Te a káldeusokhoz szöksz!

Mikor pedig ő a Benjámin kapujához [ére] és ott vala egy őr, a kinek neve Jériás vala, Selémiásnak fia, a ki Hanániásnak fia vala, megfogá az Jeremiás prófétát, és monda: Te a Káldeusokhoz szököl!

And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.

Când a ajuns însă la poarta lui Beniamin, căpitanul străjerilor, numit Ireia, fiul lui Şelemia, fiul lui Hanania, era acolo şi a pus mâna pe prorocul Ieremia zicând: „Tu vrei să treci la haldei!”

When he was at the Benjamin Gate, a sentry there named Irijah the son of Shelemiah, son of Hananiah, seized Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “You are deserting to the Chaldeans.”

Jeremiás erre azt mondta: Hazugság! Nem szököm át a káldeusokhoz! De nem hallgatott rá Jirijjá, hanem megragadta Jeremiást, és a fejedelmekhez vitte őt.

És monda Jeremiás: Hazugság! Nem szököm a Káldeusokhoz; de nem hallgata rá. És Jériás megfogá Jeremiást, és vivé őt a fejedelmekhez.

Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

Ieremia a răspuns: „Nu este adevărat! Nu vreau să trec la haldei!” Dar Ireia n-a vrut să-l creadă, ci a apucat pe Ieremia şi l-a dus înaintea căpeteniilor.

And Jeremiah said, “It is a lie; I am not deserting to the Chaldeans.” But Irijah would not listen to him, and seized Jeremiah and brought him to the officials.

A fejedelmek pedig megharagudtak Jeremiásra, megverették őt, és fogházba vetették Jónátán kancellár házában; mert azt rendelték fogháznak.

És a fejedelmek megharaguvának Jeremiásra, és megvereték őt, és veték a fogházba az írástudó Jónatán házába: mert azt rendelték vala fogháznak.

Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.

Căpeteniile, mâniate pe Ieremia, l-au lovit şi l-au aruncat în temniţă, în casa logofătului Ionatan, căci o prefăcuseră în temniţă.

And the officials were enraged at Jeremiah, and they beat him and imprisoned him in the house of Jonathan the secretary, for it had been made a prison.

Így jutott Jeremiás a tömlöcbe, a cellájába, és sok ideig maradt ott Jeremiás.

Mikor Jeremiás a tömlöczbe és a börtönbe juta, és sok napig vala ott Jeremiás;

When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days;

Aşa a intrat Ieremia în temniţă şi în gherlă, unde a stat multă vreme.

When Jeremiah had come to the dungeon cells and remained there many days,

Majd Cidkijjá király érte küldött, és előhozatta őt, és a palotájában titokban azt kérdezte a király: Van-e kijelentésed az ÚRtól? Akkor azt mondta Jeremiás: Van! És azt is mondta: A babilóni király kezébe adnak.

Akkor elkülde Sedékiás király és előhozatá őt, és megkérdezé a király a maga házánál titkon, és monda: Van-é kijelentésed az Úrtól? Akkor monda Jeremiás: Van! És [azt is] mondá: A babiloni király kezébe adatol.

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

Împăratul Zedechia a trimis să-l aducă şi l-a întrebat în taină la el acasă. El a zis: „Ai vreun cuvânt din partea Domnului?” Ieremia a răspuns: „Da.” Şi a adăugat: „Vei fi dat în mâinile împăratului Babilonului!”

King Zedekiah sent for him and received him. The king questioned him secretly in his house and said, “Is there any word from the LORD?” Jeremiah said, “There is.” Then he said, “You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.”

Azután azt mondta Jeremiás Cidkijjá királynak: Mit vétettem ellened, a te szolgáid ellen és e nép ellen, hogy fogházba vetettetek engem?

Azután monda Jeremiás Sedékiás királynak: Mit vétettem ellened és a te szolgáid ellen és e nép ellen, hogy a fogházba vetettetek engem?

Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?

Ieremia a mai spus împăratului Zedechia: „Cu ce am păcătuit eu împotriva ta, împotriva slujitorilor tăi şi împotriva poporului acestuia, de m-aţi aruncat în temniţă?

Jeremiah also said to King Zedekiah, “What wrong have I done to you or your servants or this people, that you have put me in prison?

És hol vannak a ti prófétáitok, akik azt prófétálták nektek: „Nem vonul föl a babilóni király ellenetek és e föld ellen”?!

És hol vannak a ti prófétáitok, a kik prófétáltak néktek, mondván: Nem jő el a babiloni király ti ellenetek és e föld ellen?

Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?

Şi unde sunt prorocii voştri care vă proroceau şi ziceau: „Împăratul Babilonului nu va veni împotriva voastră, nici împotriva ţării acesteia”?

Where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, ‘The king of Babylon will not come against you and against this land’?

Most azért, uram, király, hallgass meg, és jusson eléd könyörgésem! Ne küldj vissza Jónátán kancellár házába, hogy ott kelljen meghalnom!

Most halld csak, uram király, és hallgasd meg az én könyörgésemet, és ne küldj engem vissza az írástudó Jónatán házába, hogy ott ne haljak meg.

Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.

Acum ascultă, te rog, împărate, domnul meu! Fie bine primite înaintea ta rugăminţile mele! Nu mă trimite iarăşi în casa logofătului Ionatan, ca nu cumva să mor acolo!”

Now hear, please, O my lord the king: let my humble plea come before you and do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the secretary, lest I die there.”

Cidkijjá király azért azt parancsolta, hogy Jeremiást a börtön udvarában őrizzék, és adjanak neki naponként egy-egy darab kenyeret a pékek utcájából, amíg el nem fogy minden kenyér a városból. Jeremiás tehát ott maradt a börtön udvarán.

Parancsolta azért Sedékiás király, hogy vessék Jeremiást a tömlöcz pitvarába, és adjanak néki naponként egy-egy darab kenyeret a sütők utczájából, a míg minden kenyér elfogy a városból. És ott marada Jeremiás a tömlöcz pitvarában.

Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.

Împăratul Zedechia a poruncit să păzească pe Ieremia în curtea temniţei şi să-i dea în fiecare zi o pâine din uliţa brutarilor, până s-a sfârşit toată pâinea din cetate. Astfel Ieremia a rămas în curtea temniţei.

So King Zedekiah gave orders, and they committed Jeremiah to the court of the guard. And a loaf of bread was given him daily from the bakers’ street, until all the bread of the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.
