Halljátok meg a szót, a mit az Úr szól néktek, Izráel háza!

Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

Ascultaţi cuvântul pe care vi-l vorbeşte Domnul, casa lui Israel!

Hear the word that the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel.

Azt mondja az ÚR: A pogányok útját ne tanuljátok el, és az égi jelektől ne féljetek, mert csak a pogányok félnek azoktól!

Ezt mondja az Úr: A pogányok útját el ne tanuljátok, és az égi jelektől ne féljetek, mert a pogányok félnek azoktól!

Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Nu vă luaţi după felul de vieţuire al neamurilor şi nu vă temeţi de semnele cerului, pentru că neamurile se tem de ele.

Thus says the LORD: “Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them,

Mert a népek bálványai mind hiábavalók, hiszen a fáját az erdőből vágják ki, és a mester kezei készítik el szekercével.

Mert a népek bálványai [csupa] hiábavalóság, hiszen az erdő fájából vágják azt; ács-mester kezei készítik bárddal.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

Căci obiceiurile popoarelor sunt deşarte. Taie un lemn din pădure; mâna meşterului îl lucrează cu securea;

for the customs of the peoples are vanity. A tree from the forest is cut down and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman.

Ezüsttel és arannyal ékesítik, szögekkel és kalapáccsal erősítik meg, hogy ne mozduljanak el.

Ezüsttel és aranynyal megékesíti azt, szegekkel és pőrölyökkel megerősítik, hogy le ne essék.

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

îl împodobeşte cu argint şi aur, şi ei îl ţintuiesc cu cuie şi ciocane ca să nu se clatine.

They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move.

Olyanok, mint a madárijesztő az uborkaföldön: nem beszélnek, hordják-viszik őket, mert mozdulni sem tudnak. Ne féljetek tőlük, mert nem tehetnek rosszat, de jót tenni se képesek!

Olyanok, mint az egyenes pálmafa, és nem beszélnek; viszik-hordják őket, mert mozdulni nem tudnak. Ne féljetek tőlök, mert nem tehetnek rosszat; de jót tenni se képesek!

They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Dumnezeii aceştia sunt ca o sperietoare de păsări într-un ogor de castraveţi şi nu vorbesc; sunt duşi de alţii, pentru că nu pot să meargă. Nu vă temeţi de ei, căci nu pot să facă niciun rău şi nu sunt în stare să facă niciun bine.” –

Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field, and they cannot speak; they have to be carried, for they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.”

Nincs hozzád hasonló, URam! Nagy vagy te, és nagy a te neved hatalmadért!

Nincs hozzád hasonló, Uram! Nagy vagy és nagy a te neved a [te] hatalmadért!

Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

Niciunul nu este ca Tine, Doamne! Mare eşti Tu şi mare este Numele Tău prin puterea Ta.

There is none like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is great in might.

Ki ne félne tőled, nemzetek királya? Bizony téged illet ez, mert a nemzetek bölcsei között és azok egyetlen országában sincs hozzád hasonló!

Ki ne félne tőled, nemzetek királya? Bizony tiéd a tisztelet, mert a nemzetek minden bölcse közt és azok minden országában sincs hozzád hasonló!

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

Cine să nu se teamă de Tine, Împărate al neamurilor? Ţie se cuvine teama; căci între toţi înţelepţii neamurilor şi în toate împărăţiile lor, niciunul nu este ca Tine.

Who would not fear you, O King of the nations? For this is your due; for among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like you.

Egytől egyig mind balgák és bolondok, hiábavaló a bálványok tanítása, hiszen fából vannak.

Mind egyig balgatagok és bolondok; hiábavalóságokra tanít; fa az.

But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

Toţi laolaltă sunt proşti şi fără minte, ştiinţa idolilor nu este decât deşertăciune, e lemn!

They are both stupid and foolish; the instruction of idols is but wood!

Tarsísból hozott vert ezüst és Úfázból való arany az, mesterember és ötvös keze munkája. Öltözetük kék és piros bíbor, mesterek munkája valamennyi.

Társisból hozott lapított ezüst és Ofirból való arany; az ácsnak és az ötvös kezének munkája; öltözetök kék és piros bíbor; mesterek munkája valahány.

Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.

Ei aduc din Tarsis foiţe de argint şi aur din Ufaz; meşterul şi mâna argintarului le pun în lucru; hainele acestor dumnezei sunt de materii vopsite în albastru şi în purpură, toate sunt lucrate de meşteri iscusiţi. –

Beaten silver is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz. They are the work of the craftsman and of the hands of the goldsmith; their clothing is violet and purple; they are all the work of skilled men.

De az ÚR valóságos Isten, élő Isten ő, örökkévaló Király. Haragja előtt megrendül a föld, és a nemzetek nem tudják elviselni fölindulását.

De az Úr igaz Isten, élő Isten ő, és örökkévaló király; az ő haragja előtt reszket a föld, és a nemzetek nem szenvedhetik el az ő felindulását.

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Dar Domnul este Dumnezeu cu adevărat, este un Dumnezeu viu şi un Împărat veşnic. Pământul tremură de mânia Lui, şi neamurile nu pot să sufere urgia Lui.

But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King. At his wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure his indignation.

Mondjátok meg nekik: Azok az istenek, akik nem alkották az eget és a földet, ki fognak veszni e földről és az ég alól!

(Mondjátok meg hát nékik: Az istenek, a kik az eget és földet nem alkották, el fognak veszni e földről és az ég alól!)

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

Aşa să le vorbiţi: „Dumnezeii care n-au făcut nici cerurile, nici pământul vor pieri de pe pământ şi de sub ceruri.

Thus shall you say to them: “The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”

Ő alkotta a földet erejével, ő vetett alapot a világnak bölcsességével, és ő terjesztette ki az egeket értelmével.

Ő teremtette a földet az ő erejével, ő alkotta a világot az ő bölcseségével, és ő terjesztette ki az egeket az ő értelmével.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

Dar El a făcut pământul prin puterea Lui, a întemeiat lumea prin înţelepciunea Lui, a întins cerurile prin priceperea Lui.

It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

Szavára vizek zúgása támad az égben, és felhők emelkednek föl a föld széleiről. Villámokat készít az esőnek, és kiengedi rejtekhelyéről a szelet.

Szavára víz-zúgás [támad] az égben, és felhők emelkednek fel a föld határairól; villámlásokat készít az esőnek, és kihozza a szelet az ő rejtekhelyéből.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

La tunetul Lui, urlă apele în ceruri; El ridică norii de la marginile pământului, dă naştere fulgerelor şi ploii şi scoate vântul din cămările Lui.

When he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and he brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

Minden ember bolond lett és tudatlan, minden ötvös megszégyenül öntött szobraival, mert hamisak az öntött bálványai, nincsen azokban lélek.

Minden ember bolonddá lett, tudomány nélkül, minden ötvös megszégyenül az ő öntött képével, mert hazugság az ő öntése, és nincsen azokban lélek.

Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Atunci se arată omul cât este de prost cu ştiinţa lui, şi orice argintar rămâne de ruşine cu chipul lui cioplit; căci idolii lui nu sunt decât minciună şi nu este nicio suflare în ei;

Every man is stupid and without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, for his images are false, and there is no breath in them.

Hiábavalók azok, nevetséges dolgok, elvesznek megbüntetésük idején!

Hiábavalók azok, nevetségre való munka, elvesznek az ő megfenyíttetésök idején!

They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

sunt un lucru de nimic, o lucrare înşelătoare, şi vor pieri, când va veni pedeapsa.

They are worthless, a work of delusion; at the time of their punishment they shall perish.

De Jákób része nem ilyen, mint ezek, mert ő a mindenség alkotója, és Izráel törzse az ő tulajdona; Seregek URa az ő neve.

Nem ilyen a Jákób része, mint ezek; mert a mindenség alkotója ő, és Izráel az ő örökségének pálczája; Seregek Ura az ő neve!

The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.

Dar Cel ce este partea lui Iacov nu este ca ei; căci El a întocmit totul, şi Israel este seminţia moştenirii Lui: Domnul oştirilor este numele Lui.”

Not like these is he who is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the LORD of hosts is his name.

Nyalábold föl a földről batyudat te, aki ostromlott városban laksz!

Gyűjtsd össze a földről a te árúidat, a ki erősített városban lakozol!

Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.

Ia din ţară legătura cu ce este al tău, tu, care eşti în strâmtorare!

Gather up your bundle from the ground, O you who dwell under siege!

Mert azt mondja az ÚR: Íme, most messzire elvetem az ország lakosait, és megsanyargatom őket, hogy megérezzék azt.

Mert ezt mondja az Úr: Ímé, én elvetem ezúttal e föld lakosait, és megsanyargatom őket, hogy megtaláljanak.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată, de data aceasta, voi arunca departe pe locuitorii ţării. Îi voi strânge de aproape ca să simtă.” –

For thus says the LORD: “Behold, I am slinging out the inhabitants of the land at this time, and I will bring distress on them, that they may feel it.”

Jaj nekem romlásom miatt, gyógyíthatatlan a sebem! Mégis azt gondoltam: Ha ez is a betegségem, majdcsak elszenvedem!

Jaj nékem az én romlásom miatt, gyógyíthatatlan az én sebem! De azt mondom [mégis:] Bizony ilyen az én vereségem, és szenvedem azt!

Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous; but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.

„Vai de mine! Sunt zdrobită! Mă doare rana! Dar eu zic: „O nenorocire a dat peste mine şi o voi suferi!

Woe is me because of my hurt! My wound is grievous. But I said, “Truly this is an affliction, and I must bear it.”

De ledöntötték sátramat, köteleim mind elszakadoztak, fiaim elszakadtak tőlem, és odavannak. Nincs senki, aki kifeszítse sátramat és fölvonja sátorponyváimat.

Sátorom elpusztíttatott, köteleim mind elszakadoztak, fiaim elszakadtak tőlem és oda vannak ők; nincs többé, a ki kifeszítse sátoromat, és felvonja kárpitjaimat!

My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.

Cortul îmi este dărâmat, toate funiile îmi sunt rupte, fiii mei m-au părăsit, nu mai sunt; n-am pe nimeni care să-mi întindă cortul din nou sau să-mi ridice pânzele!

My tent is destroyed, and all my cords are broken; my children have gone from me, and they are not; there is no one to spread my tent again and to set up my curtains.

Mert oktalanok voltak a pásztorok, és nem keresték az URat. Ezért nem gyarapodtak, és egész nyájuk szétszéledt.

For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

Păstorii s-au prostit, n-au căutat pe Domnul; pentru aceea n-au propăşit şi li se risipesc toate turmele.

For the shepherds are stupid and do not inquire of the LORD; therefore they have not prospered, and all their flock is scattered.

Íme, hír jön, nagy zúgás kel észak földje felől, hogy pusztává és sakálok tanyájává tegye Júda városait.

A hír hangja ímé megjött, és nagy zúgás [kél] észak földe felől, hogy pusztává tegyék Júdának városait, és sakálok tanyájává.

Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.

Iată, se aude un vuiet! O mare zarvă vine de la miazănoapte să prefacă cetăţile lui Iuda într-un pustiu, într-o vizuină de şacali.” –

A voice, a rumor! Behold, it comes!— a great commotion out of the north country to make the cities of Judah a desolation, a lair of jackals.

Tudom, URam, hogy az embernek nincs hatalmában az ő útja, és aki azon jár, nem maga irányítja lépését.

Tudom Uram, hogy az embernek nincs hatalmában az ő útja, és egyetlen járókelő sem teheti, hogy irányozza a maga lépését!

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Ştiu, Doamne, că soarta omului nu este în puterea lui; nici nu stă în puterea omului, când umblă să-şi îndrepte paşii spre ţintă.

I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Fenyíts meg bennünket, URam, de mértékkel, ne haragodban, hogy meg ne semmisíts!

Fenyíts meg engem, Uram, de mértékkel, nem haragodban, hogy szét ne morzsolj engem!

O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

Pedepseşte-mă, Doamne, dar cu măsură, şi nu în mânia Ta, ca să nu mă nimiceşti!

Correct me, O LORD, but in justice; not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.

Öntsd ki haragodat azokra a nemzetekre, amelyek nem ismernek téged, és azokra a nemzetségekre, amelyek nem hívják segítségül nevedet! Mert megették Jákóbot, bizony megették őt; elemésztették, és elpusztították lakóhelyét!

Öntsd ki haragodat ama nemzetekre, a melyek nem ismernek téged, és ama nemzetségekre, a melyek nem hívják segítségül a te nevedet; mert megették Jákóbot, bizony megették őt, és elemésztették őt, és lakóhelyét elpusztították!

Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

Varsă-Ţi urgia peste neamurile care nu Te cunosc şi peste popoarele care nu cheamă Numele Tău! Căci mănâncă pe Iacov, îl înghit, îl topesc şi-i pustiesc locuinţa. –

Pour out your wrath on the nations that know you not, and on the peoples that call not on your name, for they have devoured Jacob; they have devoured him and consumed him, and have laid waste his habitation.
