The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD saying,

Halljátok meg e szövetség igéit, és mondjátok el Júda férfiainak és Jeruzsálem lakosainak!

Halljátok meg e szövetség igéit, és beszéljétek el Júda férfiainak és Jeruzsálem lakosainak!

Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

„Ascultaţi cuvintele acestui legământ şi spuneţi-le oamenilor lui Iuda şi locuitorilor Ierusalimului!

“Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Ezt mondd tehát nekik: Így szól az ÚR, Izráel Istene: Átkozott az az ember, aki nem hallgat annak a szövetségnek az igéire,

Ezt mondjad azért nékik: Így szól az Úr, Izráelnek Istene: Átkozott mindenki, a ki meg nem hallja e szövetségnek igéit,

And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,

Zi-le: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Blestemat să fie omul care n-ascultă cuvintele legământului acestuia

You shall say to them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Cursed be the man who does not hear the words of this covenant

amelyet akkor parancsoltam atyáitoknak, amikor kihoztam őket Egyiptom földjéről, a vaskohóból. Ezt mondtam: Hallgassatok szavamra, és cselekedjétek meg mindazt, amit parancsolok nektek, és népemmé lesztek, én pedig Istenetek leszek.

A melyet akkor parancsoltam a ti atyáitoknak, a mikor kihoztam őket Égyiptom földéről, a vaskemenczéből, mondván: Halljátok meg az én szómat, és cselekedjétek mindazokat, a miket én parancsolok néktek, és népemmé lesztek, én pedig Istenetekké leszek néktek;

Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:

pe care l-am poruncit părinţilor voştri în ziua când i-am scos din ţara Egiptului, din cuptorul de fier, zicând: „Ascultaţi glasul Meu şi faceţi tot ce vă voi porunci; şi veţi fi poporul Meu, iar Eu voi fi Dumnezeul vostru;

that I commanded your fathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Listen to my voice, and do all that I command you. So shall you be my people, and I will be your God,

Beteljesítem az esküt, amellyel megesküdtem atyáitoknak, hogy nekik adom a tejjel és mézzel folyó földet, amint most így is van. Én pedig így feleltem: Ámen, URam!

Hogy beteljesítsem az esküvést, a melylyel megesküdtem a ti atyáitoknak, hogy nékik adom a téjjel és mézzel folyó földet, a mint most van ez! És felelék, és mondám: Ámen, Uram!

That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.

atunci voi împlini jurământul pe care l-am făcut părinţilor voştri că le voi da o ţară în care curge lapte şi miere, cum vedeţi astăzi.” – Şi eu am răspuns: „Amin, Doamne!”

that I may confirm the oath that I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day.” Then I answered, “So be it, LORD.”

Akkor azt mondta nekem az ÚR: Hirdesd mindezeket az igéket Júda városaiban és Jeruzsálem utcáin: Halljátok meg ennek a szövetségnek az igéit, és teljesítsétek azokat!

És monda az Úr nékem: Kiáltsd mindez igéket Júda városaiban és Jeruzsálem utczáin, mondván: Halljátok e szövetség igéit, és cselekedjétek azokat!

Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.

Domnul mi-a zis iarăşi: „Vesteşte toate cuvintele acestea în cetăţile lui Iuda şi pe uliţele Ierusalimului şi zi: „Ascultaţi cuvintele legământului acestuia şi împliniţi-le!

And the LORD said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem: Hear the words of this covenant and do them.

Mert komolyan kérleltem atyáitokat, attól fogva, hogy fölhoztam őket Egyiptom földjéről, mind a mai napig szüntelenül így kérleltem őket: Hallgassatok szavamra!

Mert kérve kértem a ti atyáitokat, a mikor felhoztam őket Égyiptom földéről, mind e napig, szünetlenül kérvén és mondván: Halljátok meg az én szómat!

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.

Căci am înştiinţat pe părinţii voştri, din ziua când i-am scos din ţara Egiptului şi până în ziua de azi; i-am înştiinţat în toate dimineţile, zicând: „Ascultaţi glasul Meu!”

For I solemnly warned your fathers when I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, warning them persistently, even to this day, saying, Obey my voice.

De nem hallgattak rá, a fülüket sem fordították oda, hanem mindenki a maga gonosz szívének hamissága szerint járt. Ezért én bevégeztem rajtuk ennek a szövetségnek minden igéjét, amelyeket azért parancsoltam, hogy aszerint cselekedjenek; de nem cselekedték meg.

De nem hallották, még fülöket sem hajtották [arra,] hanem ment kiki az ő gonosz szívének hamissága után, és rájok szabtam e szövetségnek minden igéjét, a melyeket azért parancsoltam, hogy megcselekedjék, de nem cselekedték.

Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do: but they did them not.

Dar ei n-au ascultat, n-au luat aminte, ci au urmat fiecare pornirile inimii lor rele. De aceea am împlinit asupra lor toate cuvintele legământului acestuia pe care le poruncisem să-l păzească, şi pe care nu l-au păzit.”

Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but everyone walked in the stubbornness of his evil heart. Therefore I brought upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did not.”

Majd azt mondta nekem az ÚR: Pártütés van Júda férfiai és Jeruzsálem lakosai között.

És monda az Úr nékem: Pártütés van a Júda férfiai és Jeruzsálem lakosai között.

And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Domnul mi-a zis: „Este o uneltire între bărbaţii lui Iuda şi între locuitorii Ierusalimului.

Again the LORD said to me, “A conspiracy exists among the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Visszatértek atyáik korábbi bűneihez, akik nem akartak hallgatni szavamra, és ők maguk is idegen istenek után járnak, hogy azoknak szolgáljanak. Izráel háza és Júda háza megszegte szövetségemet, amelyet atyáikkal kötöttem.

Visszatértek az ő atyáiknak elébbi bűneire, a kik nem akarták hallani az én igéimet, és ők magok [is] idegen istenek után járnak, hogy azoknak szolgáljanak. Izráel háza és Júda háza megszegte az én szövetségemet, a melyet az ő atyáikkal kötöttem.

They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

S-au întors la nelegiuirile celor dintâi părinţi ai lor care n-au vrut să asculte cuvintele Mele şi s-au dus şi ei după alţi dumnezei ca să le slujească. Casa lui Israel şi casa lui Iuda au călcat legământul Meu pe care-l făcusem cu părinţii lor.”

They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words. They have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant that I made with their fathers.

Azért azt mondja az ÚR: Íme, veszedelmet hozok rájuk, amely elől nem menekülhetnek, és kiáltanak majd hozzám, de nem hallgatom meg őket.

Azért ezt mondja az Úr: Ímé, én veszedelmet hozok reájok, a melyből ki nem menekülhetnek, és kiáltanak majd én hozzám, de nem hallgatom meg őket.

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată, voi aduce peste ei nişte nenorociri din care nu vor putea să scape. Vor striga la Mine, dar nu-i voi asculta!

Therefore, thus says the LORD, Behold, I am bringing disaster upon them that they cannot escape. Though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.

Akkor majd elmehetnek Júda városai és Jeruzsálem lakosai, és kiálthatnak azokhoz az istenekhez, akiknek tömjénezni szoktak, de azok nem szabadíthatják meg őket nyomorúságuk idején.

És elmennek Júda városai és Jeruzsálem lakosai, és kiáltanak az istenekhez, a kiknek ők áldozni szoktak, de [azok] nem oltalmazzák meg őket az ő nyomorúságuk idején.

Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

Cetăţile lui Iuda şi locuitorii Ierusalimului se vor duce să cheme pe dumnezeii cărora le aduc tămâie, dar nu-i vor scăpa la vremea nenorocirii lor.

Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to whom they make offerings, but they cannot save them in the time of their trouble.

Mert városaid száma szerint voltak neked isteneid, Júda, és Jeruzsálem utcáinak száma szerint készítetted a gyalázat oltárait; oltárokat, hogy azokon a Baalnak tömjénezz.

Mert városaidnak száma szerint voltak néked isteneid, oh Júda, és Jeruzsálem utczáinak száma szerint készítettétek a gyalázatnak oltárait, az oltárokat, hogy áldozzatok a Baálnak!

For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

Căci câte cetăţi ai, atâţia dumnezei ai, Iuda! Şi câte uliţe are Ierusalimul, atâtea altare aţi ridicat idolilor, altare ca să aduceţi tămâie lui Baal!… –

For your gods have become as many as your cities, O Judah, and as many as the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to shame, altars to make offerings to Baal.

Te azért ne esdekelj ezért a népért, egyetlen kiáltó és esdeklő szót se ejts érettük, mert nem hallgatom meg őket, amikor majd hozzám kiáltanak nyomorúságuk miatt.

Te azért ne esdekelj e népért, és egy kiáltó és esdeklő szót se ejts érettök, mert én meg nem hallgatom őket, mikor kiáltanak majd hozzám az ő nyomorúságuk miatt.

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Tu însă nu mijloci pentru poporul acesta, nu înălţa nici cereri, nici rugăciuni pentru ei; căci nu-i voi asculta nicidecum când Mă vor chema din pricina nenorocirii lor.

“Therefore do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer on their behalf, for I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their trouble.

Mi köze kedveltemnek az én házamhoz? Tömérdek ravaszságot cselekedtél! Vajon az áldozati hús elveheti-e rólad a csapást, hogy azután örvendezhess?

Mi köze az én kedveltemnek az én házamhoz? Temérdek istentelenséget cselekedtél; a szent húst abbahagytad; mikor gonoszságban vagy, akkor örvendezel.

What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

Ce ar putea să facă preaiubitul Meu popor în Casa Mea? Să facă o mulţime de nelegiuiri în ea? Vor îndepărta juruinţele şi carnea sfântă, răutatea dinaintea ta? Atunci ai putea să te bucuri! –

What right has my beloved in my house, when she has done many vile deeds? Can even sacrificial flesh avert your doom? Can you then exult?

Lombos, szép gyümölcsű, formás olajfának nevezett téged az ÚR. Nagy vihar morajánál tüzet gyújtott rajta, és letördelte ágait.

Lombos, szép formás gyümölcsű olajfa nevet adott néked az Úr. Nagy vihar morajánál tüzet gyújta rajta, és leromlottak az ágai.

The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

„Măslin verde, gras şi cu roade frumoase şi plăcute” este numele pe care ţi-l dăduse Domnul, dar cu vuietul unei mari trosnituri îl arde cu foc, şi ramurile lui sunt sfărâmate.

The LORD once called you ‘a green olive tree, beautiful with good fruit.’ But with the roar of a great tempest he will set fire to it, and its branches will be consumed.

A Seregek URa, aki elültetett téged, megmondta, hogy veszedelmet hoz rád Izráel házának és Júda házának gonoszsága miatt, amit a maguk kárára követtek el, hogy haragra ingereljenek, mivel a Baalnak áldoznak.

A Seregek Ura, a ki plántált téged, rosszat végzett felőled Izráel házának és Júda házának rosszasága miatt, a mit elkövettek magokban, hogy engemet haragra ingereljenek, áldozván a Baálnak.

For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

Căci Domnul oştirilor care te-a sădit cheamă nenorocirea peste tine din pricina răutăţii casei lui Israel şi a casei lui Iuda pe care au făcut-o ca să Mă mânie, aducând tămâie lui Baal.”

The LORD of hosts, who planted you, has decreed disaster against you, because of the evil that the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done, provoking me to anger by making offerings to Baal.”

Az ÚR tudtul adta nekem, azért tudom, te láttattad meg velem cselekedeteiket!

Az Úr tudtul adta nékem, és én tudtam; te láttattad meg velem az ő cselekedeteiket is!

And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings.

Domnul mi-a dat de ştire, şi am ştiut; atunci Tu mi-ai arătat faptele lor.

The LORD made it known to me and I knew; then you showed me their deeds.

Én pedig olyan voltam, mint a mészárszékre hurcolt szelíd bárány, nem tudtam, hogy ilyen terveket szőttek ellenem, és ezt mondták: Pusztítsuk el ezt a fát gyümölcsével együtt, irtsuk ki az élők földjéről, hogy még a nevét se emlegessék többé!

Én pedig olyan valék, mint a mészárszékre hurczolt szelíd bárány, és nem tudtam, hogy terveket szőttek ellenem, [mondván:] Pusztítsuk el [e] fát gyümölcsével együtt; irtsuk ki ezt az élők földéből, hogy még a nevét se emlegessék többé!

But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

Dar eu eram ca un miel blând pe care-l duci la măcelărie şi nu ştiam planurile rele pe care le urzeau ei împotriva mea zicând: „Să nimicim pomul cu rodul lui, să-l stârpim din pământul celor vii ca să nu i se mai pomenească numele.”

But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter. I did not know it was against me they devised schemes, saying, “Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.”

Ó, Seregek URa, igaz bíró, vesék és szívek vizsgálója! Hadd lássam rajtuk bosszúállásodat, mert terád bíztam ügyemet!

És oh Seregek Ura, igaz biró, veséknek és szívnek vizsgálója: hadd lássam a te bosszúállásodat rajtok, mert néked jelentettem meg az én ügyemet!

But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

„O, Doamne Dumnezeul oştirilor, Tu care eşti un judecător drept, care cercetezi rinichii şi inimile: fă-mă să văd răzbunarea Ta împotriva lor, căci Ţie Îţi încredinţez pricina mea!”

But, O LORD of hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance upon them, for to you have I committed my cause.

Azért azt mondja az ÚR az anátótbeli emberekről, akik életedre törnek, és azt mondják: Ne prófétálj az ÚR nevében, mert akkor a kezünk által halsz meg!

Azért ezt mondja az Úr az Anatóthbeli embereknek, a kik életedre törnek és ezt mondják: Ne prófétálj az Úr nevében, hogy meg ne halj a mi kezünk által!

Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:

De aceea aşa vorbeşte Domnul împotriva oamenilor din Anatot care vor să-ţi ia viaţa şi zic: „Nu proroci în Numele Domnului, căci vei muri ucis de mâna noastră!”

Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, and say, “Do not prophesy in the name of the LORD, or you will die by our hand”—

Azért azt mondja a Seregek URa: Íme, megbüntetem őket: az ifjak fegyver által halnak meg, fiaik és leányaik pedig éhen halnak.

Azért ezt mondja a Seregek Ura: Ímé, én megfenyítem őket; az ifjak fegyver által halnak meg, fiaik és leányaik [pedig] meghalnak éhen.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:

De aceea aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Iată, îi voi pedepsi; tinerii vor muri ucişi de sabie, iar fiii şi fiicele lor vor muri de foamete.

therefore thus says the LORD of hosts: “Behold, I will punish them. The young men shall die by the sword, their sons and their daughters shall die by famine,

Senki sem marad meg közülük, mert veszedelmet hozok az anátótbeli emberekre, az ő büntetésük esztendejét.

És senki sem marad meg közülök, hogyha veszedelmet hozok az Anatóthbeli emberekre, az ő büntetésök esztendejét.

And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.

Şi niciunul din ei nu va scăpa, căci voi aduce nenorocirea peste oamenii din Anatot în anul când îi voi pedepsi.”

and none of them shall be left. For I will bring disaster upon the men of Anathoth, the year of their punishment.”
