Izráel fiai szám szerint, a családfők, ezredesek, századosok és azok elöljárói, akik a király szolgálatában álltak a seregek minden dolgában, és hónapról hónapra felváltva az egész esztendőn át fegyverben álltak, a csapatok egyenként huszonnégyezer emberből álltak.

Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.

Aceştia sunt copiii lui Israel, după numărul lor, capii caselor părinteşti, căpeteniile peste mii şi peste sute şi slujbaşi în slujba împăratului pentru tot ce privea şirul cetelor, sosirea şi plecarea lor, lună după lună, în toate lunile anului; fiecare ceată era de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

This is the number of the people of Israel, the heads of fathers’ houses, the commanders of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who served the king in all matters concerning the divisions that came and went, month after month throughout the year, each division numbering 24,000:

Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

În fruntea celei dintâi cete, pentru luna întâi, era Iaşobeam, fiul lui Zabdiel: şi avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel was in charge of the first division in the first month; in his division were 24,000.

Ő Pérec fiai közül származott, és az első hónapra rendelt sereg minden elöljárójának ő volt a feje.

Ő a Péres fiai közül való volt és vezére az első hónapra [rendelt] sereg minden előljárójának.

Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.

El era din fiii lui Pereţ şi era capul tuturor căpeteniilor oştirii în luna întâi.

He was a descendant of Perez and was chief of all the commanders. He served for the first month.

A második csapat vezére a második hónapban az ahóhi Dódaj volt csapatával. Egyik csapatának Miklót volt a vezetője. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

A [második] csapatnak [vezére] a második hónapban Dódai Ahohites vala és az ő csapatja; és Miklót az előljáró. Az ő csapatja is huszonnégyezerből állott.

And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.

În fruntea cetei din luna a doua era Dodai, ahohitul; Miclot era unul din capii cetei sale. El avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

Dodai the Ahohite was in charge of the division of the second month; in his division were 24,000.

The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The third commander, for the third month, was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest; in his division were 24,000.

Ez a Benájá a harminc vitéz közé tartozott, sőt a harmincnak a feje volt. Csapatának elöljárója fia, Ammizábád volt.

Ez a Benája hős volt a harmincz között, sőt a harmincz felett való volt. Csapatjának [előljárója] az ő fia, Ammizabád vala.

This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.

Acest Benaia era un viteaz dintre cei treizeci şi în fruntea celor treizeci. Fiul său Amizadab era una din căpeteniile cetei sale.

This is the Benaiah who was a mighty man of the thirty and in command of the thirty; Ammizabad his son was in charge of his division.

A negyedik csapat vezére a negyedik hónapban Aszáél, Jóáb testvére volt, helyettese pedig fia, Zebadjá. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

A negyediknek [vezére] a negyedik hónapban Asáel vala, a Joáb testvére és utána az ő fia, Zebádia. Az ő csapatja is huszonnégyezerből állott.

The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Al patrulea, pentru luna a patra, era Asael, fratele lui Ioab; şi, după el, fiul său Zebadia. El avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

Asahel the brother of Joab was fourth, for the fourth month, and his son Zebadiah after him; in his division were 24,000.

Az ötödik vezére az ötödik hónapban a jizráhi Samhút volt. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Al cincilea, pentru luna a cincea, era căpetenia Şamehut, izrahitul. El avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

The fifth commander, for the fifth month, was Shamhuth the Izrahite; in his division were 24,000.

The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira, the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; in his division were 24,000.

A hetedik vezére a hetedik hónapban a pelóni Hélec volt, Efraim fiai közül. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

A hetediknek [vezére] a hetedik hónapban a Pélonbeli Héles vala, az Efraim fiai közül. Az ő csapatja is huszonnégyezerből állott.

The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Al şaptelea, pentru luna a şaptea, era Heleţ, pelonitul, din fiii lui Efraim. El avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

Seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim; in his division were 24,000.

A nyolcadik vezére a nyolcadik hónapban a húsái Szibbekaj volt, a zerahiak közül. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

A nyolczadiknak [vezére] a nyolczadik hónapban a Husátbeli Sibbékai vala, a Zárhiták közül. Az ő csapatja is huszonnégyezerből állott.

The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Al optulea, pentru luna a opta, era Sibecai, huşatitul, din familia zerahiţilor. El avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

Eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites; in his division were 24,000.

A kilencedik vezére a kilencedik hónapban az anátóti Abiezer volt, a benjáminiak közül. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

A kilenczediknek [vezére] a kilenczedik hónapban az Anatótbeli Abiézer vala, a Benjáminiták közül. Az ő csapatja is huszonnégyezerből állott.

The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Al nouălea, pentru luna a noua, era Abiezer din Anatot, din beniamiţi. El avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

Ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer of Anathoth, a Benjaminite; in his division were 24,000.

A tizedik vezére a tizedik hónapban a netófái Mahraj volt, a zerahiak közül. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai of Netophah, of the Zerahites; in his division were 24,000.

A tizenegyedik vezére a tizenegyedik hónapban a pirátóni Benájá volt, Efraim fiai közül. Az ő csapata is huszonnégyezer főből állt.

The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Al unsprezecelea, pentru luna a unsprezecea, era Benaia din Piraton, din fiii lui Efraim. El avea o ceată de douăzeci şi patru de mii de oameni.

Eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah of Pirathon, of the sons of Ephraim; in his division were 24,000.

The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel; in his division were 24,000.

Izráel törzseinek az élén a következők álltak: a rúbeniek fejedelme Eliezer volt, Zikri fia. A simeoniaké Sefatjáhú, Maaká fia.

Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:

Júdáé Elihú, Dávid testvérei közül. Issakáré Omri, Míkáél fia.

Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:

Dáné Azarél, Jeróhám fia. Ezek voltak Izráel törzseinek fejedelmei.

Nem számláltatta meg Dávid azokat, akik húsz esztendőn aluliak voltak, mert az ÚR megígérte, hogy úgy megsokasítja Izráelt, mint az ég csillagait.

Nem számláltatá meg pedig Dávid azokat, a kik húsz esztendőn alól valának; mert az Úr megigérte, hogy megsokasítja Izráelt, mint az égnek csillagait.

But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.

David n-a făcut numărătoarea celor în vârstă de la douăzeci de ani în jos din Israel, căci Domnul făgăduise că va înmulţi pe Israel ca stelele cerului.

David did not count those below twenty years of age, for the LORD had promised to make Israel as many as the stars of heaven.

Jóáb, Cerújá fia elkezdte ugyan a számlálást, de nem fejezte be, mivel emiatt támadt Isten haragra Izráel ellen. Ezért nem került be ez a szám Dávid király krónikájának számadatai közé.

Joáb, a Séruja fia megkezdé a számlálást, de véghez nem vivé, mivelhogy e miatt [Istennek] haragja támadt Izráel ellen. Ez okból a szám nem vétetett fel a Dávid király krónikájának száma közé.

Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.

Joab the son of Zeruiah began to count, but did not finish. Yet wrath came upon Israel for this, and the number was not entered in the chronicles of King David.

A királyi kincstár gondnoka Azmávet, Adíél fia volt. A mezőkön, városokban, falvakban és várakban lévő raktárainak felügyelője pedig Jehónátán, Uzzijjáhú fia volt.

A király kincsének [gondviselője] vala Azmávet, az Adiel fia; a mezőkön, a városokban, a falvakban, a várakban való kincseknek pedig Jónatán, az Uzziás fia volt a [gondviselője;]

And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:

Azmavet, fiul lui Adiel, era pus peste vistieriile împăratului; Ionatan, fiul lui Ozia, peste merindea din ogoare, cetăţi, sate şi turnuri;

Over the king’s treasuries was Azmaveth the son of Adiel; and over the treasuries in the country, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers, was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;

A föld művelésére rendelt mezei munkások felügyelője Ezri, Kelúb fia volt;

A föld művelésére rendelt mezei munkások felett volt Ezri, a Kélub fia.

And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:

Ezri, fiul lui Chelub, peste lucrătorii de la ţară, care lucrau pământul;

and over those who did the work of the field for tilling the soil was Ezri the son of Chelub;

a szőlőművesek fölött a rámai Simei, a szőlőkben levő borospincék fölött a sefemi Zabdi volt a felügyelő.

A szőlőmívesek felett volt a Rámátbeli Simei, és a szőlőkben levő boros tárházak felett a Sifmitbeli Zabdi;

And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:

Şimei din Rama, peste vii; Zabdi din Şefam, peste pivniţele cu vin din vii;

and over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite; and over the produce of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.

A Sefélá-alföld olajfáinak és a mezőn lévő fügefák gondozói fölött a gádéri Baalhánán volt, az olajraktárak fölött pedig Jóás.

Az olajfák és a mezőn való fügefák [mívesei] felett a Gideritbeli Baálhanán; az olajos tárházak felett Joás;

And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baalhanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:

Baal-Hanan din Gheder, peste măslini şi sicomori în câmpie; Ioaş, peste magaziile de untdelemn;

Over the olive and sycamore trees in the Shephelah was Baal-hanan the Gederite; and over the stores of oil was Joash.

A Sárón mezején legelő szarvasmarhákra a sáróni Sitraj, a völgyekben legelő jószágra pedig Sáfát, Adlaj fia ügyelt.

A Sáron [mezején] legelő barmok felett a Sáronbeli Sitrai; a völgyekben [legelő] barmok felett pedig Sáfát, az Adlai fia.

And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:

Şitrai din Saron, peste boii care păşteau în Saron; Şafat, fiul lui Adlai, peste boii din văi;

Over the herds that pastured in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; over the herds in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.

A tevék fölött a jismáéli Óbíl, a szamarak fölött a mérónóti Jehdejáhú,

A tevék felett az Ismáel nemzetéből való Obil; a szamarak felett a Méronótbeli Jehdéja;

Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:

Obil, ismaelitul, peste cămile; Iehdia din Meronot, peste măgăriţe;

Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite; and over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite.

a juhok fölött a hagri Jázíz volt a felügyelő. Mindezek Dávid király jószágainak gondnokai voltak.

And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.

Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite. All these were stewards of King David’s property.

Jónátán, Dávid nagybátyja tanácsos volt, értelmes és írástudó ember. Jehiél, Hakmóni fia pedig a király fiaival volt.

Jónatán, a Dávid nagybátyja főtanácsos vala, a ki értelmes és írástudó ember volt. Jéhiel, a Hakhmóni fia pedig a király fiaival vala.

Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:

Ionatan, unchiul lui David, era sfetnic, om cu minte şi învăţat; Iehiel, fiul lui Hacmoni, era lângă fiii împăratului;

Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, being a man of understanding and a scribe. He and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni attended the king’s sons.

Ahitófel is a király tanácsosa volt, az arki Húsaj pedig a király barátja.

Akhitófel is a királynak tanácsosa volt. Arkites Khúsai pedig a király barátja.

And Ahithophel was the king's counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion:

Ahitofel era sfetnicul împăratului; Huşai, architul, era prietenul împăratului;

Ahithophel was the king’s counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.

Ahitófel helyettese Jehójádá, Benájáhú fia és Ebjátár volt. A királyi hadsereg fővezére pedig Jóáb volt.

Akhitófel után volt Jójada, a Benája fia, és Abjátár; a király hadának fővezére pedig Joáb.

And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king's army was Joab.

după Ahitofel au fost sfetnici: Iehoiada, fiul lui Benaia, şi Abiatar; Ioab era căpetenia oştirii împăratului.

Ahithophel was succeeded by Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was commander of the king’s army.
