Dávid és a sereg fővezérei a szolgálatra különválasztották Ászáf, Hémán és Jedútún fiai közül azokat, akik prófétai lélekkel játszottak citerákon, lantokon és cintányérokon. Azok sora, akiket erre a szolgálatra rendeltek, ez volt:

David and the chiefs of the service also set apart for the service the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who prophesied with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals. The list of those who did the work and of their duties was:

Ászáf fiai közül: Zakkúr, Jószéf, Netanjá és Aszarélá, Ászáf fiai. Őket Ászáf vezette prófétai lélekkel, aki a király felügyelete alá tartozott.

Az Asáf fiai közül: Zakkúr, József, Nétánia és Asaréla, az Asáf fiai Asáf mellett, a ki a király mellett prófétál vala.

Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.

Din fiii lui Asaf: Zacur, Iosif, Netania şi Aşareela, fiii lui Asaf, sub cârmuirea lui Asaf care prorocea după poruncile împăratului.

Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah, sons of Asaph, under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.

A jedútúniak közül: Jedútún hat fia, Gedaljáhú, Ceri, Jesajáhú, Hasabjáhú, Mattitjáhú és Simei, akik apjuk, Jedútún mellett prófétai lélekkel játszottak citerán az ÚR tiszteletére és dicséretére.

A Jédutun [fiai] közül: A Jédutun fiai Gedália, Séri, Jésája, Hasábia, Mattithia [és] [Simei,] hatan cziterával az ő atyjok Jédutun mellett, a ki az Úr tiszteletére és dícséretére prófétál vala.

Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

Din Iedutun, fiii lui Iedutun: Ghedalia, Ţeri, Isaia, Haşabia, Matitia şi Şimei, şase, sub cârmuirea tatălui lor, Iedutun, care prorocea cu harpa, ca să laude şi să mărească pe Domnul.

Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the lyre in thanksgiving and praise to the LORD.

Hémán fiai közül: Hémán fiai: Bukkijjáhú, Mattanjáhú, Uzzíél, Sebuél, Jerimót, Hananjá, Hanáni, Eliátá, Giddalti, Rómamti-Ezer, Josbekásá, Mallóti, Hótir, Mahaziót.

A Hémán [fiai] közül: Hémán fiai: Bukkija, Mattánia, Uzziel, Sébuel, Jérimót, Hanánia, Hanáni, Eliáta, Giddálti, Romámti-Ezer, Josbekása, Mallóti, Hótir, Maháziót.

Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:

Din Heman, fiii lui Heman: Buchia, Matania, Uziel, Şebuel, Ierimot, Hanania, Hanani, Eliata, Ghidalti, Romamti-Ezer, Ioşbecaşa, Maloti, Hotir, Mahaziot,

Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

Ezek mind Hémán fiai, aki a király látnoka volt, hogy Isten beszédeivel a hatalmát fölemelje. Isten Hémánnak tizennégy fiút és három leányt adott.

Ezek mind Hémán fiai, a ki az Isten beszédeiben a király látnoka a [hatalom] szarvának emelésére. Az Isten Hémánnak tizennégy fiút és három leányt ada.

All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

toţi fii ai lui Heman, care era văzătorul împăratului, ca să descopere cuvintele lui Dumnezeu şi să înalţe puterea Lui; Dumnezeu dăduse lui Heman paisprezece fii şi trei fete.

All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer, according to the promise of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

Ezek mindnyájan apjuk vezetésével az ÚR házában énekeltek cintányérokkal, lantokkal és citerákkal Isten házának a szolgálatában a király, Ászáf, Jedútún és Hémán irányítása szerint.

Ezek mindnyájan az ő atyjuk mellett valának, a kik az Úr házában énekelnek vala czimbalmokkal, lantokkal és cziterákkal az Isten házának szolgálatában, a királynak, Asáfnak, Jédutunnak és Hémánnak parancsolata szerint.

All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

Toţi aceştia erau sub cârmuirea părinţilor lor pentru cântarea în Casa Domnului şi aveau chimvale, lăute şi harpe pentru slujba Casei lui Dumnezeu. Asaf, Iedutun şi Heman lucrau sub poruncile împăratului.

They were all under the direction of their father in the music in the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the order of the king.

Kétszáznyolcvannyolc volt a száma testvéreikkel együtt azoknak, akiket megtanítottak az ÚR énekeire; és mindnyájan képzettek voltak.

Ezeknek száma testvéreikkel együtt, a kik jártasok valának az Úr énekében, mindnyájan tudósok, kétszáznyolczvannyolcz vala.

So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

Erau în număr de două sute optzeci şi opt, cuprinzându-se în acest număr şi fraţii lor deprinşi la cântarea Domnului, toţi cei ce erau meşteri.

The number of them along with their brothers, who were trained in singing to the LORD, all who were skillful, was 288.

Sorsot vetettek a szolgálat sorrendjére nézve a fiatalokra és az öregekre, tanítókra és a tanítványokra egyaránt.

És sorsot vetének a szolgálat sorrendjére nézve, kicsiny és nagy, tanító és tanítvány egyaránt.

And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

Au tras la sorţi pentru slujbele lor, mici şi mari, învăţători şi ucenici.

And they cast lots for their duties, small and great, teacher and pupil alike.

A sorsolás először Ászáf fiára, Jószéfre esett, a második Gedaljáhúra, akik testvéreikkel és fiaikkal együtt összesen tizenketten voltak.

És esék az első sors az Asáf [fiára,] Józsefre; Gedáliára a második. Ő és testvérei tizenketten valának.

Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:

The first lot fell for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, to him and his brothers and his sons, twelve;

The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
