Now after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and her towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

After this David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and he took Gath and its villages out of the hand of the Philistines.

And he smote Moab; and the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.

And he defeated Moab, and the Moabites became servants to David and brought tribute.

Továbbá megverte Dávid Hamátban Hadadezert, Cóbá királyát is, amikor elindult, hogy az Eufrátesz folyamig terjessze ki birodalmának határát.

Továbbá megveré Dávid Hámátban Hadadézert is, Sóbának királyát, mikor elindult vala, hogy az Eufrátes folyóvízig vesse birodalmának határát.

And David smote Hadarezer king of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to stablish his dominion by the river Euphrates.

David a bătut pe Hadarezer, împăratul Ţobei, spre Hamat, când s-a dus să-şi aşeze stăpânirea peste râul Eufratului.

David also defeated Hadadezer king of Zobah-Hamath, as he went to set up his monument at the river Euphrates.

Dávid elfogott ezer harci szekeret, hétezer lovast és húszezer gyalogost. Az összes szekérhez való ló inát elvágatta Dávid, és csak száz szekérbe valót tartott meg belőlük.

Dávid pedig nyere ő tőle ezer szekeret és hétezer lovast és húszezer gyalogost; és minden szekeres lovaknak inait elvagdaltatá Dávid, és csak száz szekérbe valót tarta meg azokból.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.

And David took from him 1,000 chariots, 7,000 horsemen, and 20,000 foot soldiers. And David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but left enough for 100 chariots.

És amikor eljöttek Damaszkuszból az arámok, hogy megsegítsék Hadadezert, Cóbá királyát, Dávid levágott az arámok közül huszonkétezer férfit.

És mikor eljövének Damaskusból a Siriabeliek, hogy megsegéllenék Hadadézert, a Sóba királyát: levága Dávid a Siriabeliek közül huszonkétezer férfit.

And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

Majd Dávid tiszttartókat rendelt az arám Damaszkuszba. Az arámok Dávid adófizető szolgái lettek. És megsegítette az ÚR Dávidot mindenütt, ahová csak ment.

És rendele Dávid [tiszttartókat] Siriában, a hol Damaskus van; és lettek a Siriabeliek Dávidnak adófizető szolgái. És megsegíté az Úr Dávidot mindenütt, a merre csak ment.

Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

David a pus o strajă de oşti în Siria Damascului. Şi sirienii au fost supuşi lui David şi i-au plătit bir. Domnul ocrotea pe David oriunde mergea.

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

Dávid igen sok rezet hozott Hadadezer városaiból, Tibhatból és Kúnból. Abból csináltatta Salamon a réztengert, az oszlopokat és a rézedényeket.

És hoza Dávid Tibhátból és Kúnból, a Hadadézer városaiból igen sok rezet. Abból csinálá Salamon a réztengert, az oszlopokat és a rézedényeket.

Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.

David a mai luat multă aramă din Tibhat şi din Cun, cetăţile lui Hadarezer. Solomon a făcut din ea marea de aramă, stâlpii şi uneltele de aramă.

And from Tibhath and from Cun, cities of Hadadezer, David took a large amount of bronze. With it Solomon made the bronze sea and the pillars and the vessels of bronze.

Amikor Tói, Hamát királya meghallotta, hogy Dávid megverte Hadadezernek, Cóbá királyának egész hadát,

Mikor meghallotta volna pedig Tóhu, a Hamáthbeli király, hogy Dávid megverte Hadadézernek, a Sóba királyának egész hadát:

Now when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had smitten all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah;

Tohu, împăratul Hamatului, a auzit că David bătuse toată oştirea lui Hadarezer, împăratul Ţobei,

When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the whole army of Hadadezer, king of Zobah,

Dávid királyhoz küldte fiát, Hadórámot, hogy köszöntse és megáldja, mivel megküzdött Hadadezerrel, és megverte őt. Mert Tói is harcolt Hadadezer ellen. És sok arany-, ezüst- és rézedényt küldött Dávidnak.

Küldé Dávid királyhoz az ő fiát, Hadorámot, hogy köszöntené őt és megáldaná, mivelhogy megharczolt vala Hadadézerrel és megverte vala őt; mert Tóhu is hadakozik Hadadézer ellen. És [külde Dávidnak ]sok arany, ezüst és rézedényt,

He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had war with Tou;) and with him all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass.

şi a trimis pe fiul său Hadoram la împăratul David să-i ureze de bine şi să-l laude că a luptat împotriva lui Hadarezer şi l-a bătut. Căci Tohu era în război cu Hadarezer. A trimis de asemenea tot felul de vase de aur, de argint şi de aramă.

he sent his son Hadoram to King David, to ask about his health and to bless him because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him; for Hadadezer had often been at war with Tou. And he sent all sorts of articles of gold, of silver, and of bronze.

Dávid király ezeket is az ÚRnak szentelte, azzal az ezüsttel és arannyal együtt, amelyet a többi néptől, az edómiaktól, móábiaktól, ammóniaktól, filiszteusoktól és az amálékiaktól szerzett.

És Dávid király ezeket is az Úrnak szentelé, az ezüsttel és az aranynyal együtt, a melyet nyert vala minden pogányoktól, az Edomitáktól, a Moábitáktól, az Ammon fiaitól, a Filiszteusoktól és Amálekitáktól.

Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

Împăratul David le-a închinat Domnului, împreună cu argintul şi aurul pe care-l luase de la toate popoarele, de la Edom, de la Moab, de la fiii lui Amon, de la filisteni şi de la Amalec.

These also King David dedicated to the LORD, together with the silver and gold that he had carried off from all the nations, from Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, and Amalek.

Abisaj, Cerújá fia pedig megvert tizennyolcezer edómit a Sós-völgyben.

Abisai pedig, a Séruja fia, az Edomiták közül a Sónak völgyében megvere tizennyolczezeret.

Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.

Abişai, fiul Ţeruiei, a bătut în Valea Sării optsprezece mii de edomiţi.

And Abishai, the son of Zeruiah, killed 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt.

Dávid tiszttartókat rendelt Edómba, és az összes edómi Dávid szolgája lett. És megsegítette az ÚR Dávidot mindenütt, ahová csak ment.

És rendele Edomban [Dávid] tiszttartókat, és lettek az Edombeliek mind Dávidnak szolgái. És megsegíté az Úr Dávidot mindenütt, a merre csak ment.

And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David's servants. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

A pus oşti de strajă în Edom, şi tot Edomul a fost supus lui David. Domnul ocrotea pe David pe oriunde mergea.

Then he put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.

Így uralkodott Dávid egész Izráel fölött, jogot és igazságot szolgáltatott egész népének.

So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, recorder.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;

And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe;

and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests; and Shavsha was secretary;

És Benájá, Jehójádá fia a kerétiek és a pelétiek parancsnoka volt, Dávid fiai pedig a legelsők voltak a király mellett.

És Benája, a Jójada fia, a Kereteusok és Peleteusok előljárója volt; a Dávid fiai pedig elsők a király mellett.

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief about the king.

Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, era căpetenia cheretiţilor şi a peletiţilor; şi fiii lui David erau cei dintâi pe lângă împărat.

and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were the chief officials in the service of the king.
