Mikor Dávid már a palotájában lakott, azt mondta egyszer Nátán prófétának: Íme, én cédrusfából készült palotában lakom, az ÚR szövetségének ládája pedig sátorlapok alatt van.

Lőn pedig, mikor Dávid az ő házában ülne, monda Nátán prófétának: Ímé én czédrusfából csinált házban lakom, az Úr szövetségének ládája pedig kárpitok alatt.

Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.

Pe când locuia David în casa lui, a zis prorocului Natan: „Iată, eu locuiesc într-o casă de cedru, şi chivotul legământului Domnului este într-un Cort.”

Now when David lived in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, “Behold, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent.”

Akkor ezt mondta Dávidnak Nátán: Cselekedd meg, ami a szívedben van, mert Isten veled lesz!

Akkor monda Nátán Dávidnak: Valami a te szívedben van, cselekedd meg, mert az Isten veled leend.

Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.

Natan a răspuns lui David: „Fă tot ce-ţi spune inima, căci Dumnezeu este cu tine.”

And Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

De azon az éjjelen Isten szava így szólt Nátánhoz:

Azon éjjel pedig lőn az Istennek szava Nátánhoz, mondván:

And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying,

În noaptea următoare, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Natan:

But that same night the word of the LORD came to Nathan,

Menj el, és mondd meg szolgámnak, Dávidnak: Ezt mondja az ÚR: Ne te építs nekem házat lakásul,

Menj el, és mondd meg az én szolgámnak, Dávidnak: Ezt mondja az Úr: Ne te építs nékem házat lakásul;

Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:

„Du-te şi spune robului Meu David: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Nu tu Îmi vei zidi o Casă de locuit.

“Go and tell my servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD: It is not you who will build me a house to dwell in.

mert mindmáig nem laktam házban azóta, mióta Izráel fiait kihoztam, hanem egyik hajlékból a másikba mentem és sátorból sátorba.

Mert nem laktam én attól fogva házban, mióta az Izráel fiait kihoztam, mind e mai napig, hanem egy hajlékból más hajlékba [mentem] és sátorból [sátorba.]

For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.

Căci Eu n-am locuit într-o Casă din ziua când am scos pe Israel din Egipt până în ziua de azi; ci am mers din Cort în Cort şi din Locaş în Locaş.

For I have not lived in a house since the day I brought up Israel to this day, but I have gone from tent to tent and from dwelling to dwelling.

Amerre Izráel egész népével jártam, szóltam-e így egyszer is valakinek Izráel bírái közül, akiknek azt parancsoltam, hogy legeltessék népemet: Miért nem csináltatok nekem cédrusfából házat?

A mely helyeken jártam az Izráel egész népével, szólottam-é vagy egyszer valakinek az Izráel birái közül (a kiknek parancsoltam vala, hogy az én népemet legeltessék), mondván: Miért nem csináltatok nékem czédrusfából házat?

Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?

Pretutindeni pe unde am mers cu tot Israelul, am spus Eu o vorbă vreunuia din judecătorii lui Israel, cărora le poruncisem să pască pe poporul Meu, am zis Eu: „Pentru ce nu-Mi zidiţi o Casă de cedru?”

In all places where I have moved with all Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd my people, saying, “Why have you not built me a house of cedar?”’

Most azért ezt mondd szolgámnak, Dávidnak: Ezt mondja a Seregek URa: Én választottalak ki téged a juhok mellől a pásztorkunyhóból, hogy vezére légy népemnek, Izráelnek.

Most azért ezt mondjad az én szolgámnak, Dávidnak: Ezt mondja a Seregek Ura: Én választottalak téged a juhok mellől a pásztorkunyhóból, hogy légy vezére az én népemnek, az Izráelnek,

Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:

Acum să spui robului Meu David: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Te-am luat de la păşune, dinapoia oilor, ca să fii căpetenia poporului Meu, Israel;

Now, therefore, thus shall you say to my servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people Israel,

És veled voltam mindenütt, amerre csak jártál, minden ellenségedet elpusztítottam előled, sőt mindezen felül olyan nevet szereztem neked, amilyen csak a föld hatalmasainak van.

És veled voltam mindenütt, valahová mentél, minden ellenségeidet is a te orczád elől elvesztettem, ennekfelette [oly] hírt szerzettem néked, a minemű hírök van a hatalmasoknak, a kik a földön vannak;

And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.

am fost cu tine pretutindeni pe unde ai mers, am nimicit pe toţi vrăjmaşii tăi dinaintea ta şi ţi-am făcut nume ca numele celor mari de pe pământ:

and I have been with you wherever you have gone and have cut off all your enemies from before you. And I will make for you a name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.

Lakóhelyet is adtam népemnek, Izráelnek, és elültettem őt. Saját helyén lakik, nem mozdítják ki többé helyéből, nem fogják sanyargatni a gonoszok, mint azelőtt.

Lakóhelyet is adtam az én népemnek, az Izráelnek és elplántálám őt; és lakik az ő helyén, és ki nem mozdul többé, s nem fogják az álnokságnak fiai sanyargatni, mint azelőtt.

Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,

am dat o locuinţă poporului Meu Israel, şi l-am sădit ca să fie statornic acolo şi să nu mai fie tulburat, pentru ca cei răi să nu-l mai nimicească aşa cum îl nimiceau mai înainte

And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall waste them no more, as formerly,

Attól az időtől fogva, hogy megparancsoltam, hogy bírák legyenek népem, Izráel fölött, minden ellenségedet megaláztam. Azt is kijelentettem neked, hogy az ÚR házat épít neked.

És attól az időtől fogva, hogy megparancsoltam volt, hogy birák legyenek az én népem, az Izráel felett, minden te ellenségeidet megalázám, és azt is jelentém néked, hogy az Úr házat épít néked.

And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house.

şi pe vremea când pusesem judecători peste poporul Meu, Israel. Am smerit pe toţi vrăjmaşii tăi. Şi îţi vestesc că Domnul îţi va zidi o Casă.

from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover, I declare to you that the LORD will build you a house.

Amikor betelnek életed napjai, hogy atyáidhoz térj pihenni, föltámasztom utánad ivadékodat, aki fiaid közül való lesz, és megerősítem országát.

És lészen, mikor betelnek a te életed napjai, hogy a te atyáidhoz elmenj, a te magodat feltámasztom te utánad, mely a te fiaid közül való lesz, és az ő országát megerősítem.

And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

Când ţi se vor împlini zilele şi când te vei duce la părinţii tăi, voi ridica sămânţa ta după tine şi anume pe unul din fiii tăi şi-i voi întări domnia.

When your days are fulfilled to walk with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.

Ő épít nekem házat, és megerősítem trónját mindörökké.

Ő épít nékem házat, és megerősítem az ő királyi székét mindörökké.

He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.

El Îmi va zidi o casă, şi-i voi întări pe vecie scaunul lui de domnie.

He shall build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever.

Atyja leszek neki, ő pedig fiam lesz, és irgalmasságomat nem vonom meg tőle, mint ahogy az előtted valótól megvontam.

Én leszek néki atyja, ő pedig fiam lészen, és az én irgalmasságomat ő tőle el nem veszem, mint a hogy a te előtted valótól elvettem;

I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

Eu îi voi fi Tată, şi el Îmi va fi fiu; şi nu voi îndepărta bunătatea Mea de la el, cum am îndepărtat-o de la cel dinaintea ta.

I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. I will not take my steadfast love from him, as I took it from him who was before you,

Hanem megerősítem őt az én házam és királyságom szolgálatában mindörökre, és trónja örökké erős lesz.

Hanem megerősítem őt az én házamban és az én országomban mindörökké, és az ő királyiszéke erős lesz mindörökké.

But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

Îl voi aşeza pentru totdeauna în Casa Mea, şi în Împărăţia Mea scaunul lui de domnie va fi întărit pe vecie.”

but I will confirm him in my house and in my kingdom forever, and his throne shall be established forever.’”

Pontosan e beszédek és e látás szerint szólt Nátán Dávidnak.

Mind e beszédek szerint és mind e látás szerint szóla Nátán Dávidnak.

According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

Natan a spus lui David toate aceste cuvinte şi toată vedenia aceasta.

In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, Nathan spoke to David.

Akkor bement Dávid király, leült az ÚR előtt, és ezt mondta: Ki vagyok én, ó, URam Isten, s micsoda az én házam népe, hogy eddig eljuttattál engem?

Beméne azért Dávid király, és leüle az Úr előtt, és monda: Ki [vagyok] én, óh Uram Isten, s micsoda az én házam is, hogy engemet eddig juttattál?

And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?

Şi împăratul David s-a dus şi s-a înfăţişat înaintea Domnului şi a zis: „Cine sunt eu, Doamne Dumnezeule, şi ce este casa mea, de m-ai făcut să ajung unde sunt?

Then King David went in and sat before the LORD and said, “Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?

Sőt még ez is kevés volt előtted, ó, Istenem, hanem a jövendőre nézve is tettél ígéretet szolgád háza felől, és mint rangjában legföljebb levő embert, úgy tekintettél engem, ÚR Isten!

Sőt még ez is kevés volt előtted, óh Isten! hanem ennekfelette szólál jövendőt is a te szolgád háza felől, és mint magas rangú embert, úgy tekintettél engemet, Úr Isten!

And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

Şi atât este puţin lucru înaintea Ta, Dumnezeule! Tu vorbeşti şi de casa robului Tău pentru vremurile viitoare. Şi binevoieşti să-Ţi îndrepţi privirile asupra mea în felul oamenilor, Tu care eşti înălţat, Doamne Dumnezeule!

And this was a small thing in your eyes, O God. You have also spoken of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have shown me future generations, O LORD God!

Kérhetne-e Dávid, a te szolgád több megtiszteltetést tőled? Hiszen te jól ismered szolgádat!

És mit [kérhetne] Dávid többet te tőled, a te szolgádnak tisztességére, holott te [jól] ismered a te szolgádat?

What can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.

Ce ar putea să-Ţi mai spună David faţă de slava dată robului Tău? Tu cunoşti pe robul Tău.

And what more can David say to you for honoring your servant? For you know your servant.

Ó, URam, a te szolgádért és szíved szerint cselekedted mindezt a nagy dolgot, hogy kijelentetted mindezeket a csodálatos dolgokat.

Óh Uram, a te szolgádért és a te szíved szerint cselekedéd mind e nagy dolgokat, hogy kijelentéd mindezeket a csudálatos dolgokat,

O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.

Doamne, din pricina robului Tău şi după inima Ta, ai făcut aceste lucruri mari şi i le-ai descoperit.

For your servant’s sake, O LORD, and according to your own heart, you have done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.

Ó, URam, nincs senki hozzád fogható, és nincs nálad nagyobb Isten, egészen úgy, ahogy fülünkkel hallottuk.

(Óh Uram, nincsen senki hasonló hozzád, és nincsen Isten náladnál több), mind a szerint, a mint füleinkkel hallottuk.

O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

Doamne! Nimeni nu este ca Tine şi nu este alt Dumnezeu afară de Tine, după tot ce am auzit cu urechile noastre.

There is none like you, O LORD, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

És van-e még egy olyan nemzet e földön, mint a te néped, Izráel, az egyetlen olyan nemzet a földön, amelyért elment Isten, hogy kiszabadítsa és a maga népéül válassza, hogy nagy és félelmes nevet szerezz magadnak, kiűzve a pogányokat néped elől, amelyet megszabadítottál Egyiptomból?

És kicsoda olyan, mint a te néped, az Izráel, egy nemzetség a földön, a melyért elment volna az Isten, hogy megváltaná magának népül; hogy magadnak nagy és rettenetes nevet szerezz, kiűzvén a pogányokat a te néped elől, a melyet Égyiptomból megszabadítál!

And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?

Este oare pe pământ un sigur popor care să fie ca poporul Tău Israel, pe care Dumnezeu a venit să-l răscumpere ca să facă din el poporul Lui, ca să-Ţi faci un nume şi să săvârşeşti minuni şi semne mari, izgonind neamuri dinaintea poporului Tău pe care l-ai răscumpărat din Egipt?

And who is like your people Israel, the one nation on earth whom God went to redeem to be his people, making for yourself a name for great and awesome things, in driving out nations before your people whom you redeemed from Egypt?

Így tetted Izráel népét a te népeddé örökre, és te, URam, Istenük lettél.

És az Izráel népét a te népeddé tevéd mindörökké, és te Uram, nékik Istenök lettél.

For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God.

Tu ai pus pe poporul Tău, Israel, ca să fie poporul Tău pe vecie; şi Tu, Doamne, Te-ai făcut Dumnezeul lui.

And you made your people Israel to be your people forever, and you, O LORD, became their God.

Most azért, URam, az ígéretedet, amelyet szolgád és az ő háza felől adtál, erősítsd meg örökre, és cselekedj úgy, amint megmondtad.

Most azért Uram, a szó, a melyet szólál a te szolgád felől és az ő háza felől, erősíttessék meg mindörökké, és úgy cselekedjél, a mint szóltál.

Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said.

Acum, Doamne, cuvântul pe care l-ai rostit asupra robului Tău şi asupra casei lui să rămână în veac, şi fă după cuvântul Tău!

And now, O LORD, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as you have spoken,

Maradjon meg és magasztaltassék föl a te neved mindörökké, hogy mondhassák: A Seregek URa Izráel Istene; ő az Istene Izráelnek. És Dávidnak, a te szolgádnak háza pedig bizton megáll színed előtt.

Maradjon meg és magasztaltassék fel a te neved mindörökké, hogy mondhassák: A Seregek Ura az Izráel Istene, Istene Izráelnek; és Dávidnak, a te szolgádnak háza legyen állandó előtted.

Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee.

Să rămână, pentru ca Numele Tău să fie slăvit pe vecie şi să se spună: „Domnul oştirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel, este un Dumnezeu pentru Israel!” Şi casa robului Tău David să fie întărită înaintea Ta!

and your name will be established and magnified forever, saying, ‘The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, is Israel’s God,’ and the house of your servant David will be established before you.

Minthogy te, Istenem, szolgád füle hallatára kijelentetted, hogy házat készítesz neki, ezért indult fel szolgád, hogy így könyörögjön előtted.

Minthogy te, én Istenem, a te szolgádnak füle hallására megjelentetted, hogy néki házat csinálsz: ezokáért indula meg a te szolgád, hogy könyörgene előtted.

For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee.

Căci Tu însuţi, Dumnezeule, ai descoperit robului Tău că îi vei zidi o casă. De aceea a îndrăznit robul Tău să se roage înaintea Ta.

For you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. Therefore your servant has found courage to pray before you.

Valóban, URam, te vagy az Isten, és te ígérted szolgádnak ezt a jót.

Most azért én Uram, te vagy az Isten, és te szólád e [jó] dolgot a te szolgád felől.

And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:

Acum, Doamne, Tu eşti adevăratul Dumnezeu şi Tu ai vestit harul acesta robului Tău.

And now, O LORD, you are God, and you have promised this good thing to your servant.

Most azért áldd meg kegyelmesen szolgád házát, hogy örökre színed előtt legyen. Mert ha te, URam, megáldod, örökre áldott lesz.

Most azért tessék néked megáldani a te szolgádnak házát, hogy legyen [állandó] mindörökké előtted; mivelhogy te, Uram, megáldottad, [legyen] azért áldott mindörökké.

Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever.

Binecuvântă, dar, casa robului Tău, ca să rămână pe vecie înaintea Ta! Căci ce binecuvântezi Tu, Doamne, este binecuvântat pentru veşnicie!”

Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you, for it is you, O LORD, who have blessed, and it is blessed forever.”
