Kálébnak pedig, Hecrón fiának Azúbá nevű feleségétől és Jerióttól ezek a fiai születtek: Jéser, Sóbáb és Ardón.

Káleb pedig, a Kheczrón fia nemzett vala az ő Azuba nevű feleségétől és Jérióttól; és ezek az ő fiai: Jéser, Sobáb és Ardon.

And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

Caleb, fiul lui Heţron, a avut copii cu nevasta sa Azuba şi cu Ieriot. Iată fiii pe care i-a avut cu Azuba: Ieşer, Şobab şi Ardon.

Caleb the son of Hezron fathered children by his wife Azubah, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

Azután bement Hecrón Mákírnak, Gileád apjának leányához. Hatvanesztendős korában vette el, és ő szülte neki Szegúbot.

And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.

Szegúb nemzette Jáírt, akinek huszonhárom városa volt Gileád földjén.

And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.

De Gesúr és Arám elvette tőlük Jáír falvait, Kenátot és mezővárosait, hatvan várost. Ezek mind Mákírnak, Gileád apjának a fiaié voltak.

And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

But Geshur and Aram took from them Havvoth-jair, Kenath, and its villages, sixty towns. All these were descendants of Machir, the father of Gilead.

After the death of Hezron, Caleb went in to Ephrathah, the wife of Hezron his father, and she bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.

Egy másik felesége is volt Jerahmeélnek, név szerint Atárá. Ő volt Ónám anyja.

Sésánnak nem voltak fiai, csak leányai. De volt Sésánnak egy Jarhá nevű egyiptomi szolgája.

Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
