Abban az időben hallotta Jézus hírét Heródes, a negyedes fejedelem,

Abban az időben hírét hallá Heródes negyedes fejedelem Jézusnak,

At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

În vremea aceea, cârmuitorul Irod a auzit vorbindu-se despre Isus;

At that time Herod the tetrarch heard about the fame of Jesus,

és azt mondta szolgáinak: Keresztelő János ez, ő támadt fel a halálból, és azért működnek benne csodatevő erők.

És monda szolgáinak: Ez ama Keresztelő János; ő támadt fel a halálból, és azért működnek benne az erők.

And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

şi a zis slujitorilor săi: „Acesta este Ioan Botezătorul! A înviat din morţi, şi de aceea se fac minuni prin el.”

and he said to his servants, “This is John the Baptist. He has been raised from the dead; that is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.”

Tudniillik Heródes elfogatta Jánost, bilincsbe verette, és tömlöcbe vettette felesége, Heródiás kedvéért, aki a testvérének, Fülöpnek volt a felesége.

Mert Heródes elfogatta vala Jánost, és megkötöztetvén, tömlöczbe vetette vala Heródiásért, az ő testvérének, Fülöpnek feleségéért.

For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

Căci Irod prinsese pe Ioan, îl legase şi-l pusese în temniţă, din pricina Irodiadei, nevasta fratelui său Filip;

For Herod had seized John and bound him and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife,

Mert ezt mondta neki János: Nem szabad neked vele élned.

Mert ezt mondja vala néki János: Nem szabad néked ővele élned.

For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

pentru că Ioan îi zicea: „Nu-ţi este îngăduit s-o ai de nevastă.”

because John had been saying to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.”

Ezért meg akarta őt öletni, de félt a sokaságtól, mert az prófétaként tisztelte.

De mikor meg akarta öletni, félt a sokaságtól, mert mint egy prófétát úgy tartják vala őt.

And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

Irod ar fi vrut să-l omoare, dar se temea de norod, pentru că norodul privea pe Ioan ca pe un proroc.

And though he wanted to put him to death, he feared the people, because they held him to be a prophet.

Amikor azonban egyszer Heródes születésnapját ünnepelték, Heródiás leánya táncolt előttük, és úgy megtetszett Heródesnek,

Hanem mikor a Heródes születése napját ünnepelék, tánczola a Heródiás leánya ő előttük, és megtetszék Heródesnek;

But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

Dar, când se prăznuia ziua naşterii lui Irod, fata Irodiadei a jucat înaintea oaspeţilor şi a plăcut lui Irod.

But when Herod’s birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced before the company and pleased Herod,

hogy esküvel fogadta: bármit kér, megadja neki.

Azért esküvéssel fogadá, hogy a mit kér, megadja néki.

Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

De aceea i-a făgăduit cu jurământ că îi va da orice va cere.

so that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask.

Az pedig anyja rábeszélésére így szólt: Add ide nekem egy tálon Keresztelő János fejét!

A leány pedig, anyja rábeszélésére, monda: Add ide nékem egy tálban a Keresztelő János fejét.

And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

Îndemnată de mama sa, ea a zis: „Dă-mi aici, într-o farfurie, capul lui Ioan Botezătorul!”

Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter.”

Ekkor a király igen megszomorodott, de esküjéért és a vendégek miatt megparancsolta, hogy adják oda.

És megszomorodék a király, de esküjéért és a vendégek miatt parancsolá, hogy adják oda.

And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

Împăratul s-a întristat; dar din pricina jurămintelor sale şi de ochii celor ce şedeau la masă împreună cu el, a poruncit să i-l dea.

And the king was sorry, but because of his oaths and his guests he commanded it to be given.

Elküldött a börtönbe, és lefejeztette Jánost,

És elküldvén, fejét véteté Jánosnak a tömlöczben.

And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

Şi a trimis să taie capul lui Ioan în temniţă.

He sent and had John beheaded in the prison,

majd elhozták a fejét egy tálon, és odaadták a leánynak, ő meg az anyjához vitte.

És előhozák az ő fejét egy tálban, és adák a leánynak; az pedig vivé az ő anyjának.

And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

Capul a fost adus într-o farfurie şi dat fetei, care l-a dus la mama sa.

and his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.

Tanítványai pedig eljöttek, elvitték a holttestet, és eltemették, majd elmentek, és megvitték a hírt Jézusnak.

És előjövén az ő tanítványai, elvivék a testet, és eltemeték azt; és elmenvén, megjelenték Jézusnak.

And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

Ucenicii lui Ioan au venit de i-au luat trupul, l-au îngropat şi s-au dus de au dat de ştire lui Isus.

And his disciples came and took the body and buried it, and they went and told Jesus.

Amikor ezt meghallotta Jézus, elment onnan hajón egy puszta helyre egyedül. A sokaság pedig ezt hallva gyalog követte őt a városokból.

És mikor ezt meghallotta Jézus, elméne onnét hajón egy puszta helyre egyedül. A sokaság pedig ezt hallva, gyalog követé őt a városokból.

When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

Isus, când a auzit vestea aceasta, a plecat de acolo într-o corabie, ca să Se ducă singur la o parte, într-un loc pustiu. Noroadele, când au auzit lucrul acesta, au ieşit din cetăţi şi s-au luat după El pe jos.

Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns.

Amikor Jézus kiszállt, nagy sokaságot látott maga körül, megszánta őket, és meggyógyította betegeiket.

És kimenvén Jézus, láta nagy sokaságot, és megszáná őket, és azoknak betegeit meggyógyítá.

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

Când a ieşit din corabie, Isus a văzut o gloată mare, I s-a făcut milă de ea, şi a vindecat pe cei bolnavi.

When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

Amikor esteledett, odamentek hozzá a tanítványai, és azt mondták: Puszta hely ez, és az idő már későre jár; bocsásd el a sokaságot, hogy menjenek el a falvakba, és vegyenek maguknak élelmet.

Mikor pedig estveledék, hozzá menének az ő tanítványai, mondván: Puszta hely ez, és az idő már elmúlt; bocsásd el a sokaságot, hogy menjenek el a falvakba és vegyenek magoknak eleséget.

And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

Când s-a înserat, ucenicii s-au apropiat de El şi I-au zis: „Locul acesta este pustiu, şi vremea iată că a trecut; dă drumul noroadelor să se ducă prin sate să-şi cumpere de mâncare.”

Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

Jézus azonban azt mondta nekik: Nem szükséges elmenniük, ti adjatok nekik enni.

Jézus pedig monda nékik: Nem szükség elmenniök; adjatok nékik ti enniök.

But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

„N-au nevoie să plece”, le-a răspuns Isus, „daţi-le voi să mănânce.”

But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.”

Erre ők azt felelték: Nincs itt egyebünk, csak öt kenyerünk és két halunk.

Azok pedig mondának néki: Nincsen itt, csupán öt kenyerünk és két halunk.

And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

Dar ei I-au zis: „N-avem aici decât cinci pâini şi doi peşti.”

They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.”

Ő pedig így szólt: Hozzátok ide!

Ő pedig monda: Hozzátok azokat ide hozzám.

He said, Bring them hither to me.

Şi El le-a zis: „Aduceţi-i aici la Mine.”

And he said, “Bring them here to me.”

Akkor megparancsolta a sokaságnak, hogy üljenek le a fűre, vette az öt kenyeret és a két halat, föltekintett az égre, és hálát adott, majd megtörte a kenyereket, a tanítványoknak adta, a tanítványok pedig a sokaságnak.

És mikor megparancsolá a sokaságnak, hogy üljenek le a fűre, vevé az öt kenyeret és két halat, és szemeit az égre emelvén, hálákat ada; és megszegvén a kenyereket, adá a tanítványoknak, a tanítványok pedig a sokaságnak.

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

Apoi a poruncit noroadelor să şadă pe iarbă, a luat cele cinci pâini şi cei doi peşti, Şi-a ridicat ochii spre cer, a binecuvântat, a frânt pâinile şi le-a dat ucenicilor, iar ei le-au împărţit noroadelor.

Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

Miután valamennyien ettek és jóllaktak, felszedték a maradék darabokat, tizenkét tele kosárral.

És mindnyájan evének, és megelégedének; és felszedék a maradék darabokat, tizenkét teli kosárral.

And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

Toţi au mâncat şi s-au săturat; şi s-au ridicat douăsprezece coşuri pline cu rămăşiţele de firimituri.

And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over.

Akik pedig ettek, mintegy ötezren voltak férfiak, az asszonyokon és gyermekeken kívül.

A kik pedig ettek vala, mintegy ötezeren valának férfiak, asszonyokon és gyermekeken kívül.

And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Cei ce mâncaseră erau cam la cinci mii de bărbaţi, afară de femei şi de copii.

And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

És mindjárt meghagyta a tanítványainak, hogy szálljanak hajóba, és menjenek át előtte a túlsó partra, míg ő elbocsátja a sokaságot.

És mindjárt kényszeríté Jézus az ő tanítványait, hogy szálljanak a hajóba és menjenek át előre a túlsó partra, míg ő elbocsátja a sokaságot.

And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

Îndată după aceea, Isus a silit pe ucenicii Săi să intre în corabie şi să treacă înaintea Lui de partea cealaltă, până va da drumul noroadelor.

Immediately he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds.

Miután elbocsátotta a sokaságot, felment a hegyre, hogy magányosan imádkozzék. Amikor beesteledett, egyedül volt ott.

És a mint elbocsátá a sokaságot, felméne a hegyre, magánosan imádkozni. Mikor pedig beestveledék, egyedül vala ott.

And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

După ce a dat drumul noroadelor, S-a suit pe munte să Se roage, singur la o parte. Se înnoptase, şi El era singur acolo.

And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,

A hajó pedig már a tenger közepén küzdött a hullámokkal, mivelhogy ellenszél volt.

A hajó pedig immár a tenger közepén vala, a haboktól háborgattatva; mivelhogy a szél szembe fújt vala.

But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

În timpul acesta, corabia era învăluită de valuri în mijlocul mării; căci vântul era împotrivă.

but the boat by this time was a long way from the land, beaten by the waves, for the wind was against them.

Az éjszaka negyedik őrváltása idején odament hozzájuk Jézus a tengeren járva.

Az éjszaka negyedik részében pedig hozzájuk méne Jézus, a tengeren járván.

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

Când se îngâna ziua cu noaptea, Isus a venit la ei, umblând pe mare.

And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea.

Amikor meglátták a tanítványok, hogy ő a tengeren jár, megrémültek, és azt mondták: Kísértet ez! És félelmükben kiáltoztak.

És mikor látták a tanítványok, hogy ő a tengeren jára, megrémülének, mondván: Ez kísértet; és a félelem miatt kiáltozának.

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

Când L-au văzut ucenicii umblând pe mare, s-au înspăimântat şi au zis: „Este o nălucă!” Şi, de frică, au ţipat.

But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” and they cried out in fear.

De Jézus azonnal megszólította őket: Bízzatok, én vagyok, ne féljetek!

De Jézus azonnal szóla hozzájuk, mondván: Bízzatok; én vagyok, ne féljetek!

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

Isus le-a zis îndată: „Îndrăzniţi, Eu sunt; nu vă temeţi!”

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.”

Péter pedig így válaszolt: Uram, ha te vagy, parancsolj, hogy hozzád mehessek a vízen.

Péter pedig felelvén néki, monda: Uram, ha te vagy, parancsolj, hogy hozzád mehessek a vizeken.

And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

„Doamne”, I-a răspuns Petru, „dacă eşti Tu, porunceşte-mi să vin la Tine pe ape.”

And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.”

Ő pedig azt mondta: Jöjj! Erre Péter kiszállt a hajóból, és a vízen járva Jézus felé tartott.

Ő pedig monda: Jövel! És Péter kiszállván a hajóból, jár vala a vizeken, hogy Jézushoz menjen.

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

„Vino!”, i-a zis Isus. Petru s-a coborât din corabie şi a început să umble pe ape ca să meargă la Isus.

He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus.

De látva a szelet, megrémült, és süllyedni kezdett. Rémülten kiáltott: Uram, ments meg!

De látva a nagy szelet, megrémüle; és a mikor kezd vala merülni, kiálta, mondván: Uram, tarts meg engem!

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

Dar, când a văzut că vântul era tare, s-a temut; şi, fiindcă începea să se afunde, a strigat: „Doamne, scapă-mă!”

But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.”

Jézus pedig azonnal kinyújtotta kezét, megragadta őt, és azt mondta neki: Kicsinyhitű, miért kételkedtél?

Jézus pedig azonnal kinyújtván kezét, megragadá őt, és monda néki: Kicsinyhitű, miért kételkedél?

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Îndată, Isus a întins mâna, l-a apucat şi i-a zis: „Puţin credinciosule, pentru ce te-ai îndoit?”

Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

És amint beszálltak a hajóba, elállt a szél.

És a mikor beléptek a hajóba, elállt a szél.

And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

Şi după ce au intrat în corabie, a stat vântul.

And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

A hajóban levők pedig leborultak előtte, és ezt mondták: Bizony, Isten Fia vagy!

A hajóban levők pedig hozzámenvén, leborulának előtte, mondván: Bizony, Isten Fia vagy!

Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Cei ce erau în corabie au venit de s-au închinat înaintea lui Isus şi I-au zis: „Cu adevărat, Tu eşti Fiul lui Dumnezeu!”

And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Átkelve a vízen Genezáret földjére jutottak.

És általkelvén, eljutának Genezáret földére.

And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

După ce au trecut marea, au venit în ţinutul Ghenezaretului.

And when they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret.

Amikor annak a helynek a lakosai felismerték őt, szétküldtek az egész környékre, minden beteget odavittek hozzá,

És mikor megismerték őt annak a helynek lakosai, szétküldének abba az egész környékbe, és minden beteget hozzá hozának;

And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

Oamenii din locul acela, care cunoşteau pe Isus, au trimis să dea de ştire în toate împrejurimile şi au adus la El pe toţi bolnavii.

And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick

és kérték őt, hogy csak a ruhája szegélyét érinthessék. És akik érintették, mindnyájan meggyógyultak.

És kérik vala őt, hogy csak az ő ruhájának peremét illethessék. És a kik illeték vala, mindnyájan meggyógyulának.

And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

Bolnavii Îl rugau să le dea voie numai să se atingă de poala hainei Lui. Şi toţi câţi s-au atins s-au vindecat.

and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well.
