Ábrahám fia volt Izsák, Izsák fia volt Jákób; Jákób fiai voltak Júda és testvérei.

Ábrahám nemzé Izsákot; Izsák nemzé Jákóbot; Jákób nemzé Júdát és testvéreit;

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

Avraam a născut pe Isaac; Isaac a născut pe Iacov; Iacov a născut pe Iuda şi fraţii lui;

Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,

Júda fia volt Fáresz és Zerah Támártól, Fáresz fia volt Heszrón; Heszrón fia volt Arám,

Júda nemzé Fárest és Zárát Támártól; Fáres nemzé Esromot; Esrom nemzé Arámot;

And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

Iuda a născut pe Fares şi Zara, din Tamar; Fares a născut pe Esrom; Esrom a născut pe Aram;

and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram,

Arám fia volt Aminádáb, Aminádáb fia volt Nahson, Nahson fia volt Szalmón.

Arám nemzé Aminádábot; Aminádáb nemzé Naássont; Naásson nemzé Sálmónt;

And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

Aram a născut pe Aminadab; Aminadab a născut pe Naason; Naason a născut pe Salmon;

and Ram the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon,

Szalmón fia volt Boáz Ráhábtól, Boáz fia volt Óbéd Ruthtól, Óbéd fia volt Isai.

Sálmón nemzé Boázt Ráhábtól; Boáz nemzé Obedet Ruthtól; Obed nemzé Isait;

And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

Salmon a născut pe Boaz, din Rahab; Boaz a născut pe Obed, din Rut; Obed a născut pe Iese;

and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse,

And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah,

Salamon fia volt Roboám, Roboám fia volt Abijjá, Abijjá fia volt Ászá,

Salamon nemzé Roboámot; Roboám nemzé Abiját; Abija nemzé Asát;

And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

Solomon a născut pe Roboam; Roboam a născut pe Abia; Abia a născut pe Asa;

and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asaph,

Ászá fia volt Jósafát, Jósafát fia volt Jórám, Jórám fia volt Uzziás,

Asa nemzé Josafátot; Josafát nemzé Jórámot; Jórám nemzé Uzziást;

And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

Asa a născut pe Iosafat; Iosafat a născut pe Ioram; Ioram a născut pe Ozia;

and Asaph the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah,

Uzziás fia volt Jótám, Jótám fia volt Áház, Áház fia volt Ezékiás,

Uzziás nemzé Jóathámot; Joathám nemzé Ákházt; Ákház nemzé Ezékiást;

And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

Ozia a născut pe Ioatam; Ioatam a născut pe Ahaz; Ahaz a născut pe Ezechia;

and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,

Ezékiás fia volt Manassé, Manassé fia volt Ámón, Ámón fia volt Jósiás,

Ezékiás nemzé Manassét; Manassé nemzé Ámont; Ámon nemzé Jósiást;

And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

Ezechia a născut pe Manase; Manase a născut pe Amon; Amon a născut pe Iosia;

and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amos, and Amos the father of Josiah,

Jósiás fiai voltak Jekonjás és testvérei a babiloni fogság idején.

Jósiás nemzé Jekoniást és testvéreit a babilóni fogságra vitelkor.

And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

Iosia a născut pe Iehonia şi fraţii lui, pe vremea strămutării în Babilon.

and Josiah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon.

A babiloni fogság után Jekonjás fia volt Sealtiél, Sealtiél fia volt Zerubbábel,

A babilóni fogságravitel után pedig Jekoniás nemzé Saláthielt; Saláthiel nemzé Zorobábelt;

And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

După strămutarea în Babilon, Iehonia a născut pe Salatiel; Salatiel a născut pe Zorobabel;

And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,

Zerubbábel fia volt Abihud, Abihud fia volt Eljákim, Eljákim fia volt Azzur,

Zorobábel nemzé Abiudot; Abiud nemzé Eliákimot; Eliákim nemzé Azort;

And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

Zorobabel a născut pe Abiud; Abiud a născut pe Eliachim; Eliachim a născut pe Azor;

and Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, and Abiud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor,

Azzur fia volt Cádók, Cádók fia volt Jákin, Jákin fia volt Elihud,

Azor nemzé Sádokot; Sádok nemzé Akimot; Akim nemzé Eliudot;

And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

Azor a născut pe Sadoc; Sadoc a născut pe Achim; Achim a născut pe Eliud;

and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud,

Elihud fia volt Eleázár, Eleázár fia volt Mattán, Mattán fia volt Jákób.

Eliud nemzé Eleázárt; Eleázár nemzé Matthánt; Matthán nemzé Jákóbot;

And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

Eliud a născut pe Eleazar; Eleazar a născut pe Matan; Matan a născut pe Iacov;

and Eliud the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob,

Jákób fia volt József, Mária férje, és Máriától született Jézus, akit Krisztusnak neveznek.

Jákób nemzé Józsefet, férjét Máriának, a kitől született Jézus, a ki Krisztusnak neveztetik.

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Iacov a născut pe Iosif, bărbatul Mariei, din care S-a născut Isus, care Se cheamă Hristos.

and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.

Összesen tehát Ábrahámtól Dávidig tizennégy nemzedék, Dávidtól a babiloni fogságba vitelig tizennégy nemzedék és a babiloni fogságba viteltől Krisztusig tizennégy nemzedék.

Az összes nemzetség tehát Ábrahámtól Dávidig tizennégy nemzetség, és Dávidtól a babilóni fogságravitelig tizennégy nemzetség, és a babilóni fogságraviteltől Krisztusig tizennégy nemzetség.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

Deci de la Avraam până la David sunt paisprezece neamuri de toate; de la David până la strămutarea în Babilon sunt paisprezece neamuri; şi de la strămutarea în Babilon până la Hristos sunt paisprezece neamuri.

So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.

Jézus Krisztus születése így történt: Mária, az ő anyja eljegyeztetett Józseffel, de mielőtt egybekeltek volna, viselős lett a Szentlélektől.

A Jézus Krisztus születése pedig így vala: Mária, az ő anyja, eljegyeztetvén Józsefnek, mielőtt egybekeltek volna, viselősnek találtaték a Szent Lélektől.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Iar naşterea lui Isus Hristos a fost aşa: Maria, mama Lui, era logodită cu Iosif; şi, înainte ca să locuiască ei împreună, ea s-a aflat însărcinată de la Duhul Sfânt.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

József pedig, az ő férje igaz ember volt, és nem is akarta megbélyegezni feleségét, el akarta tehát titkon bocsátani.

József pedig, az ő férje, mivelhogy igaz ember vala és nem akará őt gyalázatba keverni, el akarta őt titkon bocsátani.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Iosif, bărbatul ei, era un om neprihănit şi nu voia s-o facă de ruşine înaintea lumii; de aceea şi-a pus de gând s-o lase pe ascuns.

And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.

Amíg ezen tűnődött, íme, az Úr angyala álomban megjelent neki, és ezt mondta: József, Dávid fia, ne félj magadhoz venni Máriát, a feleségedet, mert ami benne fogantatott, az a Szentlélektől van.

Mikor pedig ezeket magában elgondolta: ímé az Úrnak angyala álomban megjelenék néki, mondván: József, Dávidnak fia, ne félj magadhoz venni Máriát, a te feleségedet, mert a mi benne fogantatott, a Szent Lélektől van az.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Dar, pe când se gândea el la aceste lucruri, i s-a arătat în vis un înger al Domnului şi i-a zis: „Iosife, fiul lui David, nu te teme să iei la tine pe Maria, nevasta ta, căci ce S-a zămislit în ea este de la Duhul Sfânt.

But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

Fiat szül, és nevezd őt Jézusnak, mert ő szabadítja meg népét bűneiből.

Szűl pedig fiat, és nevezd annak nevét Jézusnak, mert ő szabadítja meg az ő népét annak bűneiből.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Ea va naşte un Fiu, şi-I vei pune numele Isus, pentru că El va mântui pe poporul Lui de păcatele sale.”

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

Mindez pedig azért történt, hogy beteljesedjék, amit az Úr mondott a próféta által, aki így szólt:

Mindez pedig azért lőn, hogy beteljesedjék, a mit az Úr mondott volt a próféta által, a ki így szól:

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

Toate aceste lucruri s-au întâmplat ca să se împlinească ce vestise Domnul prin prorocul care zice:

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

Íme, a szűz fogan méhében, és fiat szül, akinek a neve Immánuel, amely azt jelenti: Velünk az Isten.

Ímé a szűz fogan méhében és szűl fiat, és annak nevét Immanuelnek nevezik, a mi azt jelenti: Velünk az Isten.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

„Iată, fecioara va fi însărcinată, va naşte un Fiu, şi-I vor pune numele Emanuel” care, tălmăcit, înseamnă: „Dumnezeu este cu noi.”

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

József pedig felserkent álmából, és úgy cselekedett, amint az Úr angyala parancsolta neki: magához vette feleségét,

József pedig az álomból felserkenvén, úgy tőn, a mint az Úr angyala parancsolta vala néki, és feleségét magához vevé.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

Când s-a trezit Iosif din somn, a făcut cum îi poruncise îngerul Domnului; şi a luat la el pe nevasta sa.

When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife,

de nem ismerte őt, amíg Mária meg nem szülte elsőszülött fiát. És Jézusnak nevezte őt.

És nem ismeré őt, míg meg nem szülé az ő elsőszülött fiát; és nevezé annak nevét Jézusnak.

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Dar n-a cunoscut-o, până ce ea a născut un Fiu. Şi el I-a pus numele Isus.

but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.
