Magához hívta tizenkét tanítványát, és hatalmat adott nekik a tisztátalan lelkek felett, hogy kiűzzék őket, és gyógyítsanak mindenféle betegséget és erőtlenséget.

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Ezt a tizenkettőt küldte ki Jézus, és megparancsolta nekik: Pogányok útjára ne térjetek le, és samáriai városba se menjetek be,

Menjetek, és hirdessétek mindenütt: Elközelített a mennyek országa!

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Vindecaţi pe bolnavi, înviaţi pe morţi, curăţaţi pe leproşi, scoateţi afară dracii. Fără plată aţi primit, fără plată să daţi.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.

Ne szerezzetek se aranyat, se ezüstöt, se rézpénzt az erszényetekbe,

Ne szerezzetek aranyat, se ezüstöt, se réz-pénzt a ti erszényetekbe,

Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

Să nu luaţi nici aur, nici argint, nici aramă în brâiele voastre,

Acquire no gold or silver or copper for your belts,

se útitáskát, se két ruhát, se sarut, se botot, mert méltó a munkás a kenyerére.

Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

no bag for your journey, or two tunics or sandals or a staff, for the laborer deserves his food.

Amikor betértek egy városba vagy faluba, tudakozzátok meg, ki méltó ott erre, és annál maradjatok, míg csak tovább nem mentek.

A mely városba vagy faluba pedig bementek, tudakozzátok meg, ki abban méltó; és ott maradjatok, a míg tovább mehettek.

And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

În orice cetate sau sat veţi intra, să cercetaţi cine este acolo vrednic şi să rămâneţi la el până veţi pleca.

And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart.

And when ye come into an house, salute it.

La intrarea voastră în casă, uraţi-i de bine;

As you enter the house, greet it.

És ha méltó rá az a ház, szálljon rá békességetek, ha pedig nem méltó, békességetek térjen vissza rátok.

És ha méltó a ház, szálljon a ti békességtek reá; ha pedig nem méltó, a ti békességtek rátok térjen vissza.

And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

şi, dacă este casa aceea vrednică, pacea voastră să vină peste ea; dar, dacă nu este vrednică, pacea voastră să se întoarcă la voi.

And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

És ha valaki nem fogad be titeket, és nem hallgatja meg a beszédeteket, menjetek ki abból a házból vagy városból, és még a port is verjétek le a lábatokról.

És ha valaki nem fogad be titeket, és nem hallgatja a ti beszédeteket, mikor kimentek abból a házból, vagy városból, lábaitok porát is verjétek le.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Dacă nu vă va primi cineva, nici nu va asculta cuvintele voastre, să ieşiţi din casa sau din cetatea aceea şi să scuturaţi praful de pe picioarele voastre.”

And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.

Bizony mondom nektek: Sodoma és Gomora földjének könnyebb lesz a dolga az ítélet napján, mint annak a városnak.

Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Adevărat vă spun că, în ziua judecăţii, va fi mai uşor pentru ţinutul Sodomei şi Gomorei, decât pentru cetatea aceea.

Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.

Íme, én elküldelek titeket, mint juhokat a farkasok közé; legyetek azért okosak, mint a kígyók, és szelídek, mint a galambok.

Ímé, én elbocsátlak titeket, mint juhokat a farkasok közé; legyetek azért okosak mint a kígyók, és szelidek mint a galambok.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

Beware of men, for they will deliver you over to courts and flog you in their synagogues,

And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

De amikor átadnak titeket, ne aggodalmaskodjatok, hogyan vagy mit szóljatok, mert megadatik nektek abban az órában, mit mondjatok.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

Dar, când vă vor da în mâna lor, să nu vă îngrijoraţi, gândindu-vă cum sau ce veţi spune; căci ce veţi avea de spus vă va fi dat chiar în ceasul acela;

When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.

For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

fiindcă nu voi veţi vorbi, ci Duhul Tatălui vostru va vorbi în voi.

For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Akkor majd halálra adja testvér a testvérét, apa a gyermekét, és a gyermekek szüleik ellen támadnak, és megöletik őket.

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

És mindenki gyűlöl majd titeket az én nevemért, de aki mindvégig helytáll, az megtartatik.

És gyűlöletesek lesztek, mindenki előtt az én nevemért; de a ki mindvégig megáll, az megtartatik.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Veţi fi urâţi de toţi, din pricina Numelui Meu; dar cine va răbda până la sfârşit va fi mântuit.

and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Ha az egyik városban üldöznek titeket, fussatok a másikba. Bizony mondom nektek, végig sem járjátok Izráel városait, mire eljön az Emberfia.

Mikor pedig abban a városban üldöznek titeket, szaladjatok a másikba. Mert bizony mondom néktek: be sem járjátok Izráel városait, míg az embernek Fia eljövend.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Când vă vor prigoni într-o cetate, să fugiţi într-alta. Adevărat vă spun că nu veţi isprăvi de străbătut cetăţile lui Israel până va veni Fiul omului.

When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Nem feljebb való a tanítvány a mesterénél, sem a szolga az ő uránál.

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

Ucenicul nu este mai presus de învăţătorul său, nici robul mai presus de domnul său.

“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.

Elég a tanítványnak, ha olyan, mint mestere, és a szolga, mint az ő ura. Ha a házigazdát Belzebubnak hívták, mennyivel inkább az ő háznépét!

Elég a tanítványnak, ha olyan mint a mestere, és a szolga mint az ő Ura. Ha a házigazdát Belzebubnak hívták, mennyivel inkább az ő házanépét?!

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Ajunge ucenicului să fie ca învăţătorul lui, şi robului să fie ca domnul lui. Dacă pe Stăpânul casei L-au numit Beelzebul, cu cât mai mult vor numi aşa pe cei din casa Lui?

It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household.

Azért ne féljetek tőlük! Mert nincs olyan rejtett dolog, amely napfényre ne kerülne, sem olyan titok, amely ki ne tudódnék.

Azért ne féljetek tőlök. Mert nincs oly rejtett dolog, a mi napfényre ne jőne; és oly titok, a mi ki ne tudódnék.

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Aşa că, să nu vă temeţi de ei. Căci nu este nimic ascuns care nu va fi descoperit şi nimic tăinuit care nu va fi cunoscut.

“So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

Amit a sötétben mondok nektek, a világosságban mondjátok el, és amit fülbe súgva hallotok, a háztetőkről hirdessétek.

A mit néktek a sötétben mondok, a világosságban mondjátok; és a mit fülbe súgva hallotok, a háztetőkről hirdessétek.

What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Ce vă spun Eu la întuneric voi să spuneţi la lumină; şi ce auziţi şoptindu-se la ureche să propovăduiţi de pe acoperişul caselor.

What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.

És ne féljetek azoktól, akik a testet megölik, de a lelket nem tudják megölni, hanem inkább attól féljetek, aki mind a lelket, mind a testet elveszítheti a gyehennában.

És ne féljetek azoktól, a kik a testet ölik meg, a lelket pedig meg nem ölhetik; hanem attól féljetek inkább, a ki mind a lelket, mind a testet elvesztheti a gyehennában.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Nu vă temeţi de cei ce ucid trupul, dar care nu pot ucide sufletul; ci temeţi-vă mai degrabă de Cel ce poate să piardă şi sufletul şi trupul în gheenă.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

Nu se vând oare două vrăbii la un ban? Totuşi, niciuna din ele nu cade pe pământ fără voia Tatălui vostru.

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.

Ne féljetek tehát, ti sok verebecskénél drágábbak vagytok.

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

Ne gondoljátok, hogy békességet szerezni jöttem a földre; nem azért jöttem, hogy békességet hozzak, hanem hogy kardot.

Ne gondoljátok, hogy azért jöttem, hogy békességet bocsássak e földre; nem azért jöttem, hogy békességet bocsássak, hanem hogy fegyvert.

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Să nu credeţi că am venit s-aduc pacea pe pământ; n-am venit să aduc pacea, ci sabia.

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Azért jöttem, hogy meghasonlást támasszak az ember és az ő apja, a leány és az ő anyja, a meny és az ő anyósa között,

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

Aki inkább szereti apját vagy anyját, mint engem, nem méltó hozzám, és aki inkább szereti fiát és leányát, mint engem, nem méltó hozzám,

A ki inkább szereti atyját és anyját, hogynem engemet, nem méltó én hozzám; és a ki inkább szereti fiát és leányát, hogynem engemet, nem méltó én hozzám.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Cine iubeşte pe tată ori pe mamă mai mult decât pe Mine nu este vrednic de Mine; şi cine iubeşte pe fiu ori pe fiică mai mult decât pe Mine nu este vrednic de Mine.

Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

és aki nem veszi föl az ő keresztjét, és nem úgy követ engem, nem méltó hozzám.

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

“Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.

Aki befogadja a prófétát, mert az próféta, a próféta jutalmát kapja, és aki igaz embert fogad be, mivel az igaz ember, az igaz jutalmát nyeri.

A ki befogadja a prófétát próféta nevében, prófétának jutalmát veszi; és a ki befogadja az igazat igaznak nevében, igaznak jutalmát veszi;

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Cine primeşte un proroc, în numele unui proroc, va primi răsplata unui proroc; şi cine primeşte pe un om neprihănit, în numele unui om neprihănit, va primi răsplata unui om neprihănit.

The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.

Aki pedig e kicsinyek közül egynek is inni ad csak egy pohár friss vizet azért, mert ő az én tanítványom, bizony mondom nektek, semmiképpen sem fogja elveszteni jutalmát.

És a ki inni ád egynek e kicsinyek közül, csak egy pohár hideg vizet tanítvány nevében, bizony mondom néktek, el nem vesztheti jutalmát.

And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Şi oricine va da de băut numai un pahar de apă rece unuia din aceşti micuţi, în numele unui ucenic, adevărat vă spun că nu-şi va pierde răsplata.”

And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”
