Abban az órában odamentek a tanítványok Jézushoz ezzel a kérdéssel: Ki a nagyobb a mennyek országában?

Abban az órában menének a tanítványok Jézushoz, mondván: Vajjon ki nagyobb a mennyeknek országában?

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

În clipa aceea, ucenicii s-au apropiat de Isus şi L-au întrebat: „Cine este mai mare în Împărăţia cerurilor?”

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

Erre Jézus odahívott egy kisgyermeket, közéjük állította,

És előhíván Jézus egy kis gyermeket, közéjök állítja vala azt,

And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

Isus a chemat la El un copilaş, l-a pus în mijlocul lor

And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them

és így szólt: Bizony mondom nektek, ha meg nem tértek, és olyanok nem lesztek, mint a kisgyermekek, semmiképpen sem mentek be a mennyek országába.

És monda: Bizony mondom néktek, ha meg nem tértek és olyanok nem lesztek mint a kis gyermekek, semmiképen nem mentek be a mennyeknek országába.

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

şi le-a zis: „Adevărat vă spun că, dacă nu vă veţi întoarce la Dumnezeu şi nu vă veţi face ca nişte copilaşi, cu niciun chip nu veţi intra în Împărăţia cerurilor.

and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Aki tehát megalázza magát, mint ez a kisgyermek, az a nagyobb a mennyek országában.

A ki azért megalázza magát, mint ez a kis gyermek, az a nagyobb a mennyeknek országában.

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

De aceea, oricine se va smeri ca acest copilaş va fi cel mai mare în Împărăţia cerurilor.

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

És aki egy ilyen kisgyermeket befogad az én nevemben, engem fogad be.

És a ki egy ilyen kis gyermeket befogad az én nevemben, engem fogad be.

And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

Şi oricine va primi un copilaş ca acesta în Numele Meu Mă primeşte pe Mine.

“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me,

Aki pedig megbotránkoztat egyet is e kicsinyek közül, akik hisznek bennem, jobb annak, hogy malomkövet kössenek a nyakára, és a tenger mélyére vessék.

A ki pedig megbotránkoztat egyet e kicsinyek közül, a kik én bennem hisznek, jobb annak, hogy malomkövet kössenek a nyakára, és a tenger mélységébe vessék.

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Dar pentru oricine va face să păcătuiască pe unul din aceşti micuţi, care cred în Mine, ar fi mai de folos să i se atârne de gât o piatră mare de moară şi să fie înecat în adâncul mării.

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Jaj a világnak a botránkozások miatt! Mert elkerülhetetlen, hogy botránkozások legyenek, de jaj annak az embernek, aki által a botránkozás esik!

Jaj a világnak a botránkozások miatt! Mert szükség, hogy botránkozások essenek; de jaj annak az embernek, a ki által a botránkozás esik.

Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Vai de lume, din pricina prilejurilor de păcătuire! Fiindcă nu se poate să nu vină prilejuri de păcătuire; dar vai de omul acela prin care vine prilejul de păcătuire!

“Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!

Ha a kezed vagy lábad megbotránkoztat téged, vágd le azokat, és vesd el magadtól. Jobb neked, ha sántán vagy csonkán mégy az életre, mint két kézzel vagy két lábbal az örök tűzre vettetned.

Ha pedig a te kezed vagy a te lábad megbotránkoztat téged, vágd le azokat és vesd el magadtól; jobb néked az életre sántán vagy csonkán bemenned, hogynem két kézzel vagy két lábbal vettetned az örök tűzre.

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

Acum, dacă mâna ta sau piciorul tău te face să cazi în păcat, taie-le şi leapădă-le de la tine. Este mai bine pentru tine să intri în viaţă şchiop sau ciung, decât să ai două mâini sau două picioare şi să fii aruncat în focul veşnic.

And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire.

És ha a szemed botránkoztat meg téged, vájd ki és vesd el magadtól. Jobb neked fél szemmel az életre menned, mint két szemmel a gyehenna tüzére vettetned.

És ha a te szemed botránkoztat meg téged, vájd ki azt és vesd el magadtól; jobb néked félszemmel bemenned az életre, hogynem két szemmel vettetned a gyehenna tüzére.

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Şi dacă ochiul tău te face să cazi în păcat, scoate-l şi leapădă-l de la tine. Este mai bine pentru tine să intri în viaţă numai cu un ochi, decât să ai amândoi ochii şi să fii aruncat în focul gheenei.

And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.

Vigyázzatok, hogy e kicsinyek közül egyet se vessetek meg, mert mondom nektek, hogy az ő angyalaik a mennyben mindenkor látják az én mennyei Atyám arcát.

Meglássátok, hogy eme kicsinyek közül egyet is meg ne utáljatok; mert mondom néktek, hogy az ő angyalaik a mennyekben mindenkor látják az én mennyei Atyám orczáját.

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Feriţi-vă să nu defăimaţi nici măcar pe unul din aceşti micuţi; căci vă spun că îngerii lor în ceruri văd pururi faţa Tatălui Meu care este în ceruri.

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Az Emberfia azért jött, hogy megtartsa, ami elveszett.

Mert az embernek Fia azért jött, hogy megtartsa, a mi elveszett vala.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Fiindcă Fiul omului a venit să mântuiască ce era pierdut.

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?

Mit gondoltok? Ha egy embernek száz juha van, és egy azok közül eltéved, az ember nem hagyja-e ott a kilencvenkilencet a hegyeken, és nem megy-e el megkeresni azt, amelyik eltévedt?

Mit gondoltok? Ha valamely embernek száz juha van, és egy azok közül eltévelyedik: vajjon a kilenczvenkilenczet nem hagyja-é ott, és a hegyekre menvén, nem keresi-é azt, a melyik eltévelyedett?

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

Ce credeţi? Dacă un om are o sută de oi şi se rătăceşte una din ele, nu lasă el pe cele nouăzeci şi nouă pe munţi şi se duce să caute pe cea rătăcită?

And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.

És ha történetesen megtalálja, bizony mondom nektek, jobban örül annak, mint az el nem tévedt kilencvenkilencnek.

És ha történetesen megtalálja azt, bizony mondom néktek, inkább örvend azon, mint a kilenczvenkilenczen, a mely el nem tévelyedett.

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

Şi, dacă i se întâmplă s-o găsească, adevărat vă spun că are mai multă bucurie de ea decât de cele nouăzeci şi nouă care nu se rătăciseră.

So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

Így a ti mennyei Atyátok sem akarja, hogy egy is elvesszen e kicsinyek közül.

Ekképen a ti mennyei Atyátok sem akarja, hogy egy is elveszszen e kicsinyek közül.

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Tot aşa, nu este voia Tatălui vostru celui din ceruri să piară unul măcar din aceşti micuţi.

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.

Ha pedig a te atyádfia vétkezik ellened, menj el, és fedd meg őt négyszemközt. Ha hallgat rád, megnyerted a te atyádfiát.

Ha pedig a te atyádfia vétkezik ellened, menj el és dorgáld meg őt négy szem között: ha hallgat rád, megnyerted a te atyádfiát;

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

Dacă fratele tău a păcătuit împotriva ta, du-te şi mustră-l între tine şi el singur. Dacă te ascultă, ai câştigat pe fratele tău.

But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.

Ha pedig nem hallgat rád, végy magad mellé még egyet vagy kettőt, hogy két vagy három tanú vallomásával erősíttessék meg minden szó.

Ha pedig nem hallgat rád, végy magad mellé még egyet vagy kettőt, hogy két vagy három tanú vallomásával erősíttessék minden szó.

But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Dar, dacă nu te ascultă, mai ia cu tine unul sau doi inşi, pentru ca orice vorbă să fie sprijinită pe mărturia a doi sau trei martori.

If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

Ha azokra sem hallgat, mondd meg a gyülekezetnek. Ha a gyülekezetre sem hallgat, legyen előtted olyan, mint a pogány vagy a vámszedő.

Ha azokra nem hallgat, mondd meg a gyülekezetnek; ha a gyülekezetre sem hallgat, legyen előtted olyan, mint a pogány és a vámszedő.

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Dacă nu vrea să asculte de ei, spune-l bisericii; şi, dacă nu vrea să asculte nici de biserică, să fie pentru tine ca un păgân şi ca un vameş.

Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Bizony mondom nektek, amit megköttök a földön, kötve lesz a mennyben is, és amit feloldotok a földön, oldva lesz a mennyben is.

Bizony mondom néktek: A mit megköttök a földön, a mennyben is kötve lészen; és a mit megoldotok a földön, a mennyben is oldva lészen.

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Adevărat vă spun că orice veţi lega pe pământ va fi legat în cer; şi orice veţi dezlega pe pământ va fi dezlegat în cer.

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

Ismét mondom nektek, hogy ha ketten közületek egyetértenek a földön bármely dolog felől, amit csak kérnek, megadja nekik az én mennyei Atyám.

Ismét, mondom néktek, hogy ha ketten közületek egy akaraton lesznek a földön minden dolog felől, a mit csak kérnek, megadja nékik az én mennyei Atyám.

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Vă mai spun iarăşi că, dacă doi dintre voi se învoiesc pe pământ să ceară un lucru oarecare, le va fi dat de Tatăl Meu care este în ceruri.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Căci acolo unde sunt doi sau trei adunaţi în Numele Meu, sunt şi Eu în mijlocul lor.”

Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”

Ekkor Péter odament hozzá, és azt kérdezte: Uram, hányszor vétkezhet az én atyámfia ellenem, és hányszor kell megbocsátanom neki? Még hétszer is?

Ekkor hozzámenvén Péter, monda: Uram, hányszor lehet az én atyámfiának ellenem vétkezni, és néki megbocsátanom? még hétszer is?

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

Atunci Petru s-a apropiat de El şi I-a zis: „Doamne, de câte ori să iert pe fratele meu când va păcătui împotriva mea? Până la şapte ori?”

Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Jézus így válaszolt: Nem azt mondom, hogy hétszer, hanem még hetvenhétszer is.

Monda néki Jézus: Nem mondom néked, hogy még hétszer is, hanem még hetvenhétszer is.

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Isus i-a zis: „Eu nu-ţi zic până la şapte ori, ci până la şaptezeci de ori câte şapte.

“Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.

Mert hasonló a mennyek országa a királyhoz, aki számadást tartott a szolgáival.

Annakokáért hasonlatos a mennyeknek országa a királyhoz, a ki számot akar vala vetni az ő szolgáival.

Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

De aceea, Împărăţia cerurilor se aseamănă cu un împărat care a vrut să se socotească cu robii săi.

When he began to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

Amikor megkezdte a számonkérést, eléje vittek egy szolgát, aki tízezer talentummal volt adósa.

Mikor pedig számot kezde vetni, hozának eléje egyet, a ki tízezer tálentommal vala adós.

And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

A început să facă socoteala şi i-au adus pe unul care îi datora zece mii de galbeni.

And since he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made.

Mivel nem tudott miből fizetni, megparancsolta annak ura, hogy adják el őt is, feleségét is, gyermekeit is és mindenét, amije csak van, hogy fizethessen.

Nem tudván pedig fizetni, parancsolá annak ura, hogy adják el azt, és a feleségét és gyermekeit, és mindenét, a mije vala, és fizessenek.

But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

Fiindcă el n-avea cu ce plăti, stăpânul lui a poruncit să-l vândă pe el, pe nevasta lui, pe copiii lui şi tot ce avea, şi să se plătească datoria.

So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’

Ekkor a szolga térdre esve könyörgött: Légy türelemmel hozzám, és mindent megfizetek neked!

Leborulván azért a szolga előtte, könyörög vala néki, mondván: Uram, légy türelemmel hozzám, és mindent megfizetek néked.

The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

Robul s-a aruncat la pământ, i s-a închinat şi a zis: „Doamne, mai îngăduie-mă, şi-ţi voi plăti tot.”

And out of pity for him, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the debt.

Az úr pedig megszánta azt a szolgát, elbocsátotta, sőt az adósságát is elengedte.

Az úr pedig megszánván azt a szolgát, elbocsátá őt, és az adósságot is elengedé néki.

Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

Stăpânul robului aceluia, făcându-i-se milă de el, i-a dat drumul şi i-a iertat datoria.

But when that same servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, and seizing him, he began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay what you owe.’

Ahogy kiment az a szolga, találkozott az egyik szolgatársával, aki száz dénárral tartozott neki. Megragadta, fojtogatni kezdte, és ezt mondta neki: Fizesd meg, amivel tartozol!

Kimenvén pedig az a szolga, találkozék egygyel az ő szolgatársai közül, a ki száz dénárral vala néki adós; és megragadván azt, fojtogatja vala, mondván: Fizesd meg nékem, a mivel tartozol.

But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

Robul acela, când a ieşit afară, a întâlnit pe unul din tovarăşii lui de slujbă care-i era dator o sută de lei. A pus mâna pe el şi-l strângea de gât, zicând: „Plăteşte-mi ce-mi eşti dator.”

So his fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’

Szolgatársa ekkor térdre esve könyörgött: Légy türelemmel hozzám, és megfizetek neked.

Leborulván azért az ő szolgatársa az ő lábai elé, könyörög vala néki, mondván: Légy türelemmel hozzám, és mindent megfizetek néked.

And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

Tovarăşul lui s-a aruncat la pământ, îl ruga şi zicea: „Mai îngăduie-mă, şi-ţi voi plăti.”

He refused and went and put him in prison until he should pay the debt.

De ő nem engedett, hanem elment, és börtönbe vettette azt, amíg meg nem fizeti tartozását.

De ő nem akará; hanem elmenvén, börtönbe veté őt, mígnem megfizeti, a mivel tartozik.

And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

Dar el n-a vrut, ci s-a dus şi l-a aruncat în temniţă, până va plăti datoria.

When his fellow servants saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their master all that had taken place.

Amikor szolgatársai látták, hogy mi történt, felháborodtak, és elmentek jelenteni uruknak a történteket.

Látván pedig az ő szolgatársai, a mik történtek vala, felettébb megszomorodának; és elmenvén, mindent megjelentének az ő uroknak, a mik történtek vala.

So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

Când au văzut tovarăşii lui cele întâmplate, s-au întristat foarte mult şi s-au dus de au spus stăpânului lor toate cele petrecute.

Then his master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.

Akkor maga elé hívatta őt az ura, és azt mondta neki: Gonosz szolga, minden adósságodat elengedtem neked a te könyörgésedre.

Akkor előhivatván őt az ő ura, monda néki: Gonosz szolga, minden adósságodat elengedtem néked, mivelhogy könyörögtél nékem:

Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

Atunci stăpânul a chemat la el pe robul acesta şi i-a zis: „Rob viclean! Eu ţi-am iertat toată datoria, fiindcă m-ai rugat.

And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’

Nem kellett volna neked is könyörülnöd szolgatársadon, ahogy én is könyörültem rajtad?

Nem kellett volna-é néked is könyörülnöd a te szolgatársadon, a miképen én is könyörültem te rajtad?

Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

Oare nu se cădea să ai şi tu milă de tovarăşul tău cum am avut eu milă de tine?”

And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers, until he should pay all his debt.

És haragjában ura átadta őt a hóhéroknak, míg minden tartozását meg nem fizeti.

És megharagudván az ő ura, átadta őt a hóhérok kezébe, mígnem megfizeti mind, a mivel tartozik.

And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

Şi stăpânul s-a mâniat şi l-a dat pe mâna chinuitorilor, până va plăti tot ce datora.

So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”

Így cselekszik az én mennyei Atyám is veletek, ha szívből meg nem bocsátotok atyátokfiainak.

Ekképen cselekszik az én mennyei Atyám is veletek, ha szivetekből meg nem bocsátjátok, kiki az ő atyjafiának, az ő vétkeiket.

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Tot aşa vă va face şi Tatăl Meu cel ceresc, dacă fiecare din voi nu iartă din toată inima pe fratele său.”
