Hat nap múlva Jézus magához vette Pétert, Jakabot és annak testvérét, Jánost, és felvitte őket magukban egy magas hegyre.

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

După şase zile, Isus a luat cu El pe Petru, Iacov şi Ioan, fratele lui, şi i-a dus la o parte pe un munte înalt.

And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

És elváltozott előttük: arca ragyogott, mint a nap, ruhája pedig fehér lett, mint a fényesség.

És elváltozék előttök, és az ő orczája ragyog vala, mint a nap, ruhája pedig fehér lőn, mint a fényesség.

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

El S-a schimbat la faţă înaintea lor; faţa Lui a strălucit ca soarele, şi hainele I s-au făcut albe ca lumina.

And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.

És íme, megjelent nekik Mózes és Illés, és beszélgettek vele.

És ímé megjelenék ő nékik Mózes és Illés, a kik beszélnek vala ő vele.

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Şi iată că li s-au arătat Moise şi Ilie, stând de vorbă cu El.

And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him.

Péter pedig megszólalt, és azt mondta Jézusnak: Uram, jó nekünk itt lennünk. Ha akarod, építek itt három sátrat, neked egyet, Mózesnek is egyet, Illésnek is egyet.

Péter pedig megszólalván, monda Jézusnak: Uram, jó nékünk itt lennünk. Ha akarod, építsünk itt három hajlékot, néked egyet, Mózesnek is egyet, Illésnek is egyet.

Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

Petru a luat cuvântul şi a zis lui Isus: „Doamne, este bine să fim aici; dacă vrei, am să fac aici trei colibe: una pentru Tine, una pentru Moise şi una pentru Ilie.”

And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

Még beszélt, amikor fényes felhő borította be őket, és szózat hallatszott a felhőből: Ez az én szeretett Fiam, akiben gyönyörködöm, őt hallgassátok.

Mikor ő még beszél vala, ímé, fényes felhő borítá be őket; és ímé szózat lőn a felhőből, mondván: Ez az én szerelmes Fiam, a kiben én gyönyörködöm: őt hallgassátok.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Pe când vorbea el încă, iată că i-a acoperit un nor luminos cu umbra lui. Şi din nor s-a auzit un glas care zicea: „Acesta este Fiul Meu preaiubit, în care Îmi găsesc plăcerea Mea: de El să ascultaţi!”

He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”

Amint a tanítványok ezt hallották, arcra borultak, és igen megijedtek.

És a tanítványok a mint ezt hallák, arczra esének és igen megrémülének.

And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

Când au auzit, ucenicii au căzut cu feţele la pământ şi s-au înspăimântat foarte tare.

When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified.

De Jézus hozzájuk lépett, megérintette őket, és így szólt: Keljetek fel, és ne féljetek!

Jézus pedig hozzájok menvén, illeté őket, és monda: Keljetek fel és ne féljetek!

And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

Dar Isus S-a apropiat, S-a atins de ei şi le-a zis: „Sculaţi-vă, nu vă temeţi!”

But Jesus came and touched them, saying, “Rise, and have no fear.”

Akkor szemüket fölemelték, és senkit sem láttak, csak egyedül Jézust.

Mikor pedig szemeiket fölemelék, senkit sem látának, hanem csak Jézust egyedül.

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Ei au ridicat ochii, şi n-au văzut pe nimeni decât pe Isus singur.

And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

Amikor a hegyről lejöttek, Jézus megparancsolta nekik: Senkinek se szóljatok e látomásról, amíg az Emberfia fel nem támad a halálból.

És mikor a hegyről alájövének, megparancsolá nékik Jézus, mondván: Senkinek se mondjátok el a mit láttatok, míg fel nem támadt az embernek Fia a halálból.

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

Pe când se coborau din munte, Isus le-a dat porunca următoare: „Să nu spuneţi nimănui de vedenia aceasta, până va învia Fiul omului din morţi.”

And as they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

És megkérdezték a tanítványai: Miért mondják hát az írástudók, hogy előbb Illésnek kell eljönnie?

És megkérdezék őt az ő tanítványai, mondván: Miért mondják tehát az írástudók, hogy előbb Illésnek kell eljőnie?

And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

Ucenicii I-au pus întrebarea următoare: „Oare de ce zic cărturarii că întâi trebuie să vină Ilie?”

And the disciples asked him, “Then why do the scribes say that first Elijah must come?”

Ő pedig azt felelte: Illés csakugyan eljön előbb, és mindent helyreállít.

Jézus pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Illés bizony eljő előbb, és mindent helyreállít;

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

Drept răspuns, Isus le-a zis: „Este adevărat că trebuie să vină întâi Ilie şi să aşeze din nou toate lucrurile.

He answered, “Elijah does come, and he will restore all things.

De én azt mondom nektek, hogy Illés immár eljött, és nem ismerték meg őt, hanem azt tették vele, amit akartak. Így kell az Emberfiának is szenvednie tőlük.

De mondom néktek, hogy Illés immár eljött, és nem ismerék meg őt, hanem azt mívelék vele, a mit akarának. Ezenképen az ember Fiának is szenvednie kell majd ő tőlük.

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Dar vă spun că Ilie a şi venit, şi ei nu l-au cunoscut, ci au făcut cu el ce au vrut. Tot aşa are să sufere şi Fiul omului din partea lor.”

But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.”

Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Ucenicii au înţeles atunci că le vorbise despre Ioan Botezătorul.

Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist.

Amikor leértek a sokasághoz, egy ember odament hozzá, térdre borult előtte,

És mikor a sokasághoz értek, egy ember jöve hozzá, térdre esvén ő előtte,

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

Când au ajuns la norod, a venit un om care a căzut în genunchi înaintea lui Isus şi I-a zis:

And when they came to the crowd, a man came up to him and, kneeling before him,

és így szólt: Uram, könyörülj a fiamon, mert holdkóros, és kegyetlenül szenved, gyakorta esik tűzbe és gyakorta vízbe.

És mondván: Uram, könyörülj az én fiamon, mert holdkóros és kegyetlenül szenved; mivelhogy gyakorta esik a tűzbe, és gyakorta a vízbe.

Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

„Doamne, ai milă de fiul meu, căci este lunatic şi pătimeşte rău: de multe ori cade în foc şi de multe ori cade în apă.

said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he has seizures and he suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water.

Elhoztam őt a tanítványaidhoz, de nem tudták meggyógyítani.

És elvittem őt a te tanítványaidhoz, és nem tudták őt meggyógyítani.

And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

L-am adus la ucenicii Tăi, şi n-au putut să-l vindece.”

And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him.”

Jézus pedig azt mondta: Ó, hitetlen és elfajult nemzedék, meddig leszek még veletek? Meddig tűrjelek még titeket? Vezessétek őt ide hozzám!

Jézus pedig felelvén, monda: Óh hitetlen és elfajult nemzetség! vajjon meddig leszek veletek? vajjon meddig szenvedlek titeket? Hozzátok őt ide nékem.

Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

„O, neam necredincios şi pornit la rău!”, a răspuns Isus. „Până când voi fi cu voi? Până când vă voi suferi? Aduceţi-l aici la Mine.”

And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.”

Jézus megdorgálta az ördögöt, és az kiment belőle, a gyermek pedig meggyógyult még abban az órában.

És megdorgálá őt Jézus, és kiméne belőle az ördög; és meggyógyula a gyermek azon órától fogva.

And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

Isus a certat dracul, care a ieşit afară din el. Şi băiatul s-a tămăduit chiar în ceasul acela.

And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly.

Ekkor a tanítványok külön odamentek Jézushoz, és megkérdezték: Mi miért nem tudtuk kiűzni?

Ekkor a tanítványok magukban Jézushoz menvén, mondának néki: Mi miért nem tudtuk azt kiűzni?

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

Atunci ucenicii au venit la Isus şi I-au zis deoparte: „Noi de ce n-am putut să-l scoatem?”

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

Jézus pedig azt mondta nekik: A ti kicsinyhitűségetek miatt. Mert bizony mondom nektek: ha akkora hitetek volna, mint egy mustármag, és azt mondanátok ennek a hegynek: Menj innen amoda, az odamenne, és semmi sem volna lehetetlen nektek.

Jézus pedig monda nékik: A ti hitetlenségetek miatt. Mert bizony mondom néktek: Ha akkora hitetek volna, mint a mustármag, azt mondanátok ennek a hegynek: Menj innen amoda, és elmenne; és semmi sem volna lehetetlen néktek.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

„Din pricina puţinei voastre credinţe”, le-a zis Isus. „Adevărat vă spun că, dacă aţi avea credinţă cât un grăunte de muştar, aţi zice muntelui acestuia: „Mută-te de aici acolo”, şi s-ar muta; nimic nu v-ar fi cu neputinţă.

He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Ez a fajta pedig nem megy ki, csak könyörgés és böjtölés által.

Ez a fajzat pedig ki nem megy, hanemha könyörgés és bőjtölés által.

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Dar acest soi de draci nu iese afară decât cu rugăciune şi cu post.”

As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men,

Amikor pedig Galileában jártak, azt mondta nekik Jézus: Az Emberfia emberek kezébe adatik,

Mikor pedig Galileában jártak vala, monda nékik Jézus: Az ember Fia emberek kezébe adatik;

And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

Pe când stăteau în Galileea, Isus le-a zis: „Fiul omului trebuie să fie dat în mâinile oamenilor.

and they will kill him, and he will be raised on the third day.” And they were greatly distressed.

megölik őt, de harmadnap feltámad. Ezen nagyon elszomorodtak.

És megölik őt, de harmadnapon föltámad. És felettébb megszomorodának.

And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

Ei Îl vor omorî, dar a treia zi va învia.” Ucenicii s-au întristat foarte mult.

When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax went up to Peter and said, “Does your teacher not pay the tax?”

Amikor Kapernaumba értek, a templomi adószedők odamentek Péterhez, és azt kérdezték: A ti mesteretek nem fizeti a két drahmát?

Mikor pedig eljutottak vala Kapernaumba, a kétdrakma-szedők Péterhez menének és mondának néki: A ti mesteretek nem fizeti-é a kétdrakmát?

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

Când au ajuns în Capernaum, cei ce strângeau darea pentru Templu au venit la Petru şi i-au zis: „Învăţătorul vostru nu plăteşte darea?”

He said, “Yes.” And when he came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do kings of the earth take toll or tax? From their sons or from others?”

De igen – felelte. És amikor bement a házba, megelőzte őt a beszédben Jézus ezzel a kérdéssel: Mit gondolsz, Simon, a föld királyai kiktől szednek vámot vagy adót: a fiaiktól vagy az idegenektől?

Monda: Igen. És mikor beméne a házba, megelőzé őt Jézus, mondván: Mit gondolsz Simon? A föld királyai kiktől szednek vámot vagy adót? a fiaiktól-é, vagy az idegenektől?

He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

„Ba da”, a zis Petru. Şi, când a intrat în casă, Isus i-a luat înainte şi i-a zis: „Ce crezi, Simone? Împăraţii pământului de la cine iau dări sau biruri? De la fiii lor sau de la străini?”

And when he said, “From others,” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free.

Az idegenektől – hangzott a válasz. Tehát a fiak mentesek – mondta Jézus.

Monda néki Péter: Az idegenektől. Monda néki Jézus: Tehát a fiak szabadok.

Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

Petru I-a răspuns: „De la străini.” Şi Isus i-a zis: „Aşadar, fiii sunt scutiţi.

However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.”

– De hogy ne botránkoztassuk meg őket, menj a tengerpartra, vesd be a horgot, és húzd ki az első halat, amely ráakad. Ha annak száját felnyitod, egy státert találsz benne: vedd ki, és add oda nekik értem és érted.

De hogy őket meg ne botránkoztassuk, menj a tengerre, vesd be a horgot, és vond ki az első halat, a mely rá akad: és felnyitván a száját, egy státert találsz benne: azt kivévén, add oda nékik én érettem és te éretted.

Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Dar, ca să nu-i facem să păcătuiască, du-te la mare, aruncă undiţa şi trage afară peştele care va veni întâi; deschide-i gura şi vei găsi în ea o rublă pe care ia-o şi dă-le-o lor, pentru Mine şi pentru tine.”
