Amikor megszületett Jézus a júdeai Betlehemben, Heródes király idejében, íme, bölcsek jöttek napkeletről Jeruzsálembe,

A mikor pedig megszületik vala Jézus a júdeai Bethlehemben, Heródes király idejében, ímé napkeletről bölcsek jövének Jeruzsálembe, ezt mondván:

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

După ce S-a născut Isus în Betleemul din Iudeea, în zilele împăratului Irod, iată că au venit nişte magi din răsărit la Ierusalim

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem,

és ezt kérdezték: Hol van a zsidók újszülött királya? Mert láttuk az ő csillagát napkeleten, és azért jöttünk, hogy tisztességet tegyünk neki.

Hol van a zsidók királya, a ki megszületett? Mert láttuk az ő csillagát napkeleten, és azért jövénk, hogy tisztességet tegyünk néki.

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

şi au întrebat: „Unde este Împăratul de curând născut al iudeilor? Fiindcă I-am văzut steaua în răsărit şi am venit să ne închinăm Lui.”

saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

Heródes király nagy megdöbbenéssel hallotta ezt és vele együtt az egész Jeruzsálem.

Heródes király pedig ezt hallván, megháborodék, és vele együtt az egész Jeruzsálem.

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

Când a auzit împăratul Irod acest lucru, s-a tulburat mult; şi tot Ierusalimul s-a tulburat împreună cu el.

When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him;

És összegyűjtve a papi fejedelmeket és a nép írástudóit, tudakozódott tőlük, hol születhetett meg Krisztus.

És egybegyűjtve minden főpapot és a nép írástudóit, tudakozódik vala tőlük, hol kell a Krisztusnak megszületnie?

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

A adunat pe toţi preoţii cei mai de seamă şi pe cărturarii norodului şi a căutat să afle de la ei unde trebuia să Se nască Hristosul.

and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.

Azok pedig azt mondták: A júdeai Betlehemben, mert így írta meg a próféta:

Azok pedig mondának néki: A júdeai Bethlehemben; mert így írta vala meg a próféta:

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

„În Betleemul din Iudeea”, i-au răspuns ei, „căci iată ce a fost scris prin prorocul:

They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:

És te, Betlehem, Júda földje, semmiképpen sem vagy a legkisebb Júda főhelyei között, mert belőled származik az a fejedelem, aki pásztorolja az én népemet, Izráelt.

És te Bethlehem, Júdának földje, semmiképen sem vagy legkisebb Júda fejedelmi városai között: mert belőled származik a fejedelem, a ki legeltetni fogja az én népemet, az Izráelt.

And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

„Şi tu, Betleeme, ţara lui Iuda, nu eşti nicidecum cea mai neînsemnată dintre căpeteniile lui Iuda; căci din tine va ieşi o Căpetenie, care va fi Păstorul poporului Meu Israel.”

“‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

Ekkor Heródes titkon hívatta a bölcseket, pontosan megtudakolta tőlük a csillag feltűnésének idejét,

Ekkor Heródes titkon hivatván a bölcseket, szorgalmatosan megtudakolá tőlük a csillag megjelenésének idejét.

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

Atunci Irod a chemat în ascuns pe magi şi a aflat întocmai de la ei vremea în care se arătase steaua.

Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared.

elküldte őket Betlehembe, és azt mondta: Menjetek el, gondosan kérdezősködjetek a gyermek felől, és ha megtaláljátok, adjátok tudtomra, hogy én is elmenjek, és tisztességet tegyek neki.

És elküldvén őket Bethlehembe, monda nékik: Elmenvén, szorgalmatosan kérdezősködjetek a gyermek felől, mihelyt pedig megtaláljátok, adjátok tudtomra, hogy én is elmenjek és tisztességet tegyek néki.

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

Apoi i-a trimis la Betleem şi le-a zis: „Duceţi-vă de cercetaţi cu de-amănuntul despre Prunc: şi, când Îl veţi găsi, daţi-mi şi mie de ştire, ca să vin şi eu să mă închin Lui.”

And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.”

Ők pedig a király meghallgatása után útra keltek. És íme, a csillag, amelyet napkeleten láttak, előttük ment mindaddig, amíg meg nem érkeztek. Akkor megállt a hely felett, ahol a gyermek volt.

Ők pedig a király beszédét meghallván, elindulának. És ímé a csillag, a melyet napkeleten láttak, előttük megy vala mind addig, a míg odaérvén, megálla a hely fölött, a hol a gyermek vala.

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

După ce au ascultat pe împăratul, magii au plecat. Şi iată că steaua pe care o văzuseră în răsărit, mergea înaintea lor, până ce a venit şi s-a oprit deasupra locului unde era Pruncul.

After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was.

A csillagot látva igen nagy örömmel örvendeztek.

És mikor meglátták a csillagot, igen nagy örömmel örvendezének.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

Când au văzut ei steaua, n-au mai putut de bucurie.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.

Bementek a házba, és meglátták a gyermeket anyjával, Máriával, és arcra borulva hódoltak neki. Majd kinyitották kincsesládáikat, és ajándékokat adtak neki: aranyat, tömjént és mirhát.

És bemenvén a házba, ott találák a gyermeket anyjával, Máriával; és leborulván, tisztességet tőnek néki; és kincseiket kitárván, ajándékokat adának néki: aranyat, tömjént és mirhát.

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

Au intrat în casă, au văzut Pruncul cu Maria, mama Lui, s-au aruncat cu faţa la pământ şi I s-au închinat; apoi şi-au deschis vistieriile şi I-au adus daruri: aur, tămâie şi smirnă.

And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

És mivel álomban intést kaptak, hogy ne menjenek vissza Heródeshez, más úton tértek haza.

És mivel álomban meginttettek, hogy Heródeshez vissza ne menjenek, más úton térének vissza hazájokba.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

În urmă, au fost înştiinţaţi de Dumnezeu în vis să nu mai dea pe la Irod, şi s-au întors în ţara lor pe un alt drum.

And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.

Alighogy elmentek, íme, az Úr angyala álomban megjelent Józsefnek, és ezt mondta: Kelj fel, vedd a gyermeket és anyját, menekülj Egyiptomba, és maradj ott, ameddig mondom, mert Heródes máris halálra keresi a gyermeket.

Mikor pedig azok visszatérnek vala, ímé megjelenék az Úrnak angyala Józsefnek álomban, és monda: Kelj fel, vedd a gyermeket és annak anyját, és fuss Égyiptomba, és maradj ott, a míg én mondom néked; mert Heródes halálra fogja keresni a gyermeket.

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

După ce au plecat magii, un înger al Domnului se arată în vis lui Iosif şi-i zice: „Scoală-te, ia Pruncul şi pe mama Lui, fugi în Egipt şi rămâi acolo până îţi voi spune eu; căci Irod are să caute Pruncul, ca să-L omoare.”

Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”

Ő erre felkelt, vette a gyermeket és anyját, és még azon az éjjelen Egyiptomba ment.

Ő pedig fölkelvén, vevé a gyermeket és annak anyját éjjel, és Égyiptomba távozék.

When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

Iosif s-a sculat, a luat Pruncul şi pe mama Lui, noaptea, şi a plecat în Egipt.

And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt

Ott is maradt Heródes haláláig, hogy beteljesedjék, amit az Úr mondott a próféta által: Egyiptomból hívtam ki az én fiamat.

És ott vala egész a Heródes haláláig, hogy beteljesedjék, a mit az Úr mondott a próféta által, a ki így szólt: Égyiptomból hívtam ki az én fiamat.

And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Acolo a rămas până la moartea lui Irod, ca să se împlineacă ce fusese vestit de Domnul prin prorocul care zice: „Am chemat pe Fiul Meu din Egipt.”

and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

Amikor Heródes látta, hogy a bölcsek túljártak az eszén, nagyon felháborodott, és embereivel megöletett Betlehemben és annak egész környékén minden kétesztendős és ennél fiatalabb fiúgyermeket a bölcsektől megtudakolt idő szerint.

Ekkor Heródes látván, hogy a bölcsek megcsúfolták őt, szerfölött felháborodék, és kiküldvén, megölete Bethlehemben és annak egész környékén minden gyermeket, két esztendőstől és azon alól, az idő szerint, a melyet szorgalmasan tudakolt a bölcsektől.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

Atunci Irod, când a văzut că fusese înşelat de magi, s-a mâniat foarte tare şi a trimis să omoare pe toţi pruncii de parte bărbătească, de la doi ani în jos, care erau în Betleem şi în toate împrejurimile lui, potrivit cu vremea pe care o aflase întocmai de la magi.

Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men.

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,

Kiáltás hallatszott Rámában, hangos sírás és sok jajgatás. Ráhel siratta fiait, és nem akart megvigasztalódni, mert nincsenek.

Szó hallatszott Rámában: Sírás-rívás és sok keserves jajgatás. Rákhel siratta az ő fiait és nem akart megvigasztaltatni, mert nincsenek.

In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

„Un ţipăt s-a auzit în Rama, plângere şi bocet mult: Rahela îşi jelea copiii şi nu voia să fie mângâiată, pentru că nu mai erau.”

“A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children; she refused to be comforted, because they are no more.”

Amikor Heródes meghalt, az Úr angyala álomban megjelent Józsefnek Egyiptomban,

Mikor pedig Heródes meghalt, ímé az Úrnak angyala megjelenék álomban Józsefnek Égyiptomban.

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

După ce a murit Irod, un înger al Domnului se arată în vis lui Iosif, în Egipt,

But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

és azt mondta: Kelj fel, vedd a gyermeket és anyját, és menj haza Izráel földjére, mert meghaltak, akik a gyermek életére törtek.

Mondván: Kelj fel, vedd a gyermeket és annak anyját, és eredj az Izráel földére; mert meghaltak, a kik a gyermeket halálra keresik vala.

Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.

şi-i zice: „Scoală-te, ia Pruncul şi pe mama Lui şi du-te în ţara lui Israel, căci au murit cei ce căutau să ia viaţa Pruncului.”

saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child’s life are dead.”

Ő fel is kelt, vette a gyermeket és anyját, és hazament Izráel földjére.

Ő pedig felkelvén, magához vevé a gyermeket és annak anyját, és elméne Izráel földére.

And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

Iosif s-a sculat, a luat Pruncul şi pe mama Lui şi a venit în ţara lui Israel.

And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel.

De amikor meghallotta, hogy Júdeában Arkhelaosz uralkodik atyja, Heródes örökében, nem mert odamenni, hanem álomban vett isteni intelemre továbbment Galilea vidékére,

Mikor pedig hallá, hogy Júdeában Arkhelaus uralkodik, Heródesnek, az ő atyjának helyén, nem mert vala oda menni, hanem minthogy álomban meginteték, Galilea vidékeire tére.

But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

Dar când a auzit că în Iudeea împărăţeşte Arhelau, în locul tatălui său Irod, s-a temut să se ducă acolo; şi, fiind înştiinţat de Dumnezeu în vis, a plecat în părţile Galileii.

But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee.

és ott telepedett le egy Názáret nevű városban, hogy beteljesedjék a próféta mondása: Názáretinek fogják őt nevezni.

És oda jutván, lakozék Názáret nevű városban, hogy beteljesedjék, a mit a próféták mondottak, hogy názáretinek fog neveztetni.

And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

A venit acolo şi a locuit într-o cetate numită Nazaret, ca să se împlinească ce fusese vestit prin proroci: că El va fi chemat Nazarinean.

And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene.
