Öt nap múlva azután lement Anániás főpap néhány vénnel és egy Tertullusz nevű ügyvéddel, és panaszt tettek a helytartónál Pál ellen.

Öt nap mulva aztán aláméne Ananiás főpap a vénekkel és egy Tertullus nevű prókátorral, kik panaszt tettek a tiszttartónál Pál ellen.

And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.

După cinci zile, a venit marele preot Anania cu unii din bătrâni şi cu un vorbitor, numit Tertul. Au adus înaintea dregătorului plângere împotriva lui Pavel.

And after five days the high priest Ananias came down with some elders and a spokesman, one Tertullus. They laid before the governor their case against Paul.

Amikor előállították, Tertullusz vádolni kezdte:

Mikor pedig ő előszólíttatott, Tertullus vádolni kezdé, mondván:

And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,

Pavel a fost chemat, şi Tertul a început să-l pârască astfel: „Preaalesule Felix, tu ne faci să ne bucurăm de o pace mare; şi neamul acesta a căpătat îmbunătăţiri sănătoase prin îngrijirile tale.

And when he had been summoned, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying: “Since through you we enjoy much peace, and since by your foresight, most excellent Felix, reforms are being made for this nation,

Nagyra becsült Félix, nagy békében van részünk, és helyes intézkedések történnek a nép javára előrelátásod folytán. Ezt minden tekintetben és mindenütt teljes hálával elismerjük.

Nagyságos Félix, teljes háládatossággal ismerjük el, hogy te általad nagy békességet nyerünk, és a te gondoskodásod folytán igen jó intézkedések történnek e népre nézve, minden tekintetben és mindenütt.

We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.

in every way and everywhere we accept this with all gratitude.

Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.

Dar, ca să nu te ţin prea mult, te rog să asculţi, în bunătatea ta, câteva cuvinte.

But, to detain you no further, I beg you in your kindness to hear us briefly.

Mi ugyanis úgy találtuk, hogy ez az ember valóságos pestis, és lázadást szít a föld kerekségén levő valamennyi zsidó közt, és a názáreti felekezet vezetője,

Mi ugyanis úgy találtuk, hogy ez veszedelmes ember, és hasonlást támaszt a föld kerekségén levő valamennyi zsidó közt, és a nazarénusok felekezetének feje,

For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:

Am găsit pe omul acesta, care este o ciumă: pune la cale răzvrătiri printre toţi iudeii de pe tot pământul, este mai marele partidei nazarinenilor

For we have found this man a plague, one who stirs up riots among all the Jews throughout the world and is a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

aki a templomot is meg akarta szentségteleníteni, de elfogtuk, és a mi törvényünk szerint akartuk elítélni.

Ki a templomot is meg akarta fertőztetni. Meg is fogtuk őt, és a mi törvényünk szerint akartuk megítélni.

Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.

şi a încercat să spurce chiar şi Templul. Şi am pus mâna pe el. Am vrut să-l judecăm după Legea noastră,

He even tried to profane the temple, but we seized him.

Liziász ezredes azonban odajött, és erőszakkal kivette őt kezünkből,

De Lisiás, az ezredes, nagy karhatalommal oda jövén, kivevé őt kezünkből.

But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,

dar a venit căpitanul Lisias, l-a smuls din mâinile noastre cu mare silă

By examining him yourself you will be able to find out from him about everything of which we accuse him.”

és azt parancsolta, hogy vádlói hozzád jöjjenek. Ha kihallgatod őt, magad is tudomást szerezhetsz mindarról, amivel vádoljuk.

És azt parancsolá, hogy az ő vádolói hozzád jőjjenek. Tőle te magad, ha kihallgatod, értesülhetsz mindezekről, melyekkel mi őt vádoljuk.

Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.

şi a poruncit pârâşilor lui să vină înaintea ta. Dacă-l vei cerceta, tu însuţi vei putea afla de la el toate lucrurile de care îl pârâm noi.”

The Jews also joined in the charge, affirming that all these things were so.

A zsidók is csatlakoztak ehhez, és bizonygatták, hogy mindez valóban így van.

Helybenhagyák pedig a zsidók is, mondogatván, hogy úgy vannak ezek.

And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.

Iudeii s-au unit la învinuirea aceasta şi au spus că aşa stau lucrurile.

And when the governor had nodded to him to speak, Paul replied: “Knowing that for many years you have been a judge over this nation, I cheerfully make my defense.

Pál, miután intett neki a helytartó, hogy szóljon, így válaszolt: Mivel tudom, hogy hosszú évek óta vagy e népnek a bírája, bátrabban védekezem a magam ügyében.

Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:

După ce i-a făcut dregătorul semn să vorbească, Pavel a răspuns: „Fiindcă ştiu că de mulţi ani eşti judecătorul neamului acestuia, voi răspunde cu încredere pentru apărarea mea.

You can verify that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship in Jerusalem,

Megtudhatod, hogy nincs több mint tizenkét napja, hogy feljöttem imádkozni Jeruzsálembe.

Mert megtudhatod, hogy nincsen tizenkét napjánál több, mióta feljöttem imádkozni Jeruzsálembe.

Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.

Nu sunt mai mult de douăsprezece zile, te poţi încredinţa de lucrul acesta, de când m-am suit să mă închin la Ierusalim.

and they did not find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the temple or in the synagogues or in the city.

De sem a templomban, sem a zsinagógákban, sem a városban nem láttak engem, hogy valakivel is vitatkoztam volna, vagy hogy a sokaságot lázítottam volna.

És a templomban sem találtak engem, hogy valakivel vetekedtem volna, vagy hogy a népet egybezendítettem volna, sem a zsinagógákban, sem a városban.

And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:

Nu m-au găsit nici în Templu, nici în sinagogi, nici în cetate, stând de vorbă cu cineva sau făcând răscoală de norod.

Neither can they prove to you what they now bring up against me.

Nem is tudják bizonyítani azt, amivel most vádolnak.

Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.

Aşa că n-ar putea dovedi lucrurile de care mă pârăsc acum.

But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets,

Azt azonban megvallom neked, hogy én a szerint az út szerint, amelyet ők eretnekségnek mondanak, úgy szolgálok az én atyáim Istenének, mint aki hiszek mindabban, ami a törvényben és a prófétákban meg van írva.

But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

having a hope in God, which these men themselves accept, that there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust.

Mert reménységem van Istenben, hogy lesz feltámadásuk mind az igazaknak, mind a gonoszoknak, amint ezt ők maguk is várják.

Reménységem lévén az Istenben, hogy a mit ezek maguk is várnak, lesz feltámadásuk a halottaknak, mind igazaknak, mind hamisaknak.

And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

şi am în Dumnezeu nădejdea aceasta, pe care o au şi ei înşişi, că va fi o înviere a celor drepţi şi a celor nedrepţi.

So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man.

Ezért magam is arra törekszem, hogy mindenkor feddhetetlen lelkiismeretem legyen Isten és az emberek előtt.

Ebben gyakorlom pedig magamat, hogy botránkozás nélkül való lelkiismeretem legyen az Isten és emberek előtt mindenkor.

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.

De aceea mă silesc să am totdeauna un cuget curat înaintea lui Dumnezeu şi înaintea oamenilor.

Now after several years I came to bring alms to my nation and to present offerings.

Több esztendő elteltével pedig eljöttem, hogy az én népemnek adományokat hozzak, és áldozatot mutassak be.

Sok esztendő múlva pedig eljövék, hogy az én népemnek alamizsnát hozzak és áldozatokat.

Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.

După o lipsă de mai mulţi ani, am venit să aduc milostenii neamului meu şi să aduc daruri la Templu.

While I was doing this, they found me purified in the temple, without any crowd or tumult. But some Jews from Asia—

Ennek során néhány Ázsiából való zsidó rám talált a templomban a tisztulási fogadalom teljesítése közben, nem pedig csődületben és nem lázítás közben.

Ezek közben találának engem megtisztulva a templomban, nem sokasággal, sem pedig háborúságtámasztásban, némely Ázsiából való zsidók,

Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.

Tocmai atunci nişte iudei din Asia m-au găsit curăţat în Templu, nu cu gloată, nici cu zarvă.

they ought to be here before you and to make an accusation, should they have anything against me.

Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.

Ei înşişi ar trebui să se înfăţişeze înaintea ta şi să mă pârască, dacă au ceva împotriva mea.

Or else let these men themselves say what wrongdoing they found when I stood before the council,

Vagy ezek a vádlók maguk mondják meg, hogy találtak-e bennem valami vétket, amikor a nagytanács előtt álltam,

Avagy ezek magok mondják meg, vajjon találtak-é bennem valami hamis cselekedetet, mikor én a tanács előtt álltam;

Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,

Sau să spună aceştia singuri de ce nelegiuire m-au găsit vinovat, când am stat înaintea soborului,

other than this one thing that I cried out while standing among them: ‘It is with respect to the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial before you this day.’”

Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.

afară numai doar de strigătul acesta pe care l-am scos în mijlocul lor: „Pentru învierea morţilor sunt dat eu în judecată astăzi înaintea voastră.”

But Felix, having a rather accurate knowledge of the Way, put them off, saying, “When Lysias the tribune comes down, I will decide your case.”

Félix pedig, akinek elég pontos tudomása volt erről a tanításról, elnapolta ügyüket, és így szólt: Amikor Liziász ezredes idejön, akkor fogok dönteni az ügyetekben.

And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.

Then he gave orders to the centurion that he should be kept in custody but have some liberty, and that none of his friends should be prevented from attending to his needs.

And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.

Şi a poruncit sutaşului să păzească pe Pavel, dar să-l lase puţin mai slobod şi să nu oprească pe nimeni din ai lui să-i slujească sau să vină la el.

After some days Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, and he sent for Paul and heard him speak about faith in Christ Jesus.

Néhány nap múlva pedig megjelent Félix a feleségével, Druzillával együtt, aki zsidó volt, maga elé hívatta Pált, és meghallgatta őt a Krisztusban való hit felől.

Egynéhány nap mulva pedig Félix megjelenvén feleségével Drusillával egybe, ki zsidó asszony vala, maga elé hívatá Pált, és hallgatá őt a Krisztusban való hit felől.

And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

După câteva zile, a venit Felix cu nevasta sa, Drusila, care era iudeică; a chemat pe Pavel şi l-a ascultat despre credinţa în Hristos Isus.

And as he reasoned about righteousness and self-control and the coming judgment, Felix was alarmed and said, “Go away for the present. When I get an opportunity I will summon you.”

Amikor pedig igazságról, önmegtartóztatásról és az eljövendő ítéletről kezdett beszélni, Félix megrémülve így szólt: Most menj el, de amikor alkalmam lesz rá, magamhoz hívatlak.

Mikor pedig ő igazságról, önmegtartóztatásról és az eljövendő ítéletről szólt, megrémülve monda Félix: Mostan eredj el; de mikor alkalmatosságom lesz, magamhoz hivatlak téged.

And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

Dar, pe când vorbea Pavel despre neprihănire, despre înfrânare şi despre judecata viitoare, Felix, îngrozit, a zis: „De astă dată, du-te; când voi mai avea prilej, te voi chema.”

At the same time he hoped that money would be given him by Paul. So he sent for him often and conversed with him.

Egyúttal azt is remélte, hogy Pál pénzt ad neki, ezért gyakran magához hívatta, és elbeszélgetett vele.

Egyszersmind pedig azt is reményli vala, hogy Pál pénzt ad néki, hogy őt szabadon bocsássa: ezért gyakrabban is magához hivatván őt, beszélget vala véle.

He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

Totodată el trăgea nădejde că Pavel are să-i dea bani; de aceea trimitea şi mai des să-l cheme, ca să stea de vorbă cu el.

When two years had elapsed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus. And desiring to do the Jews a favor, Felix left Paul in prison.

Két esztendő múlva Porciusz Fesztusz lett Félix utóda. Félix azonban, hogy kedvébe járjon a zsidóknak, Pált fogságban hagyta.

Mikor pedig két esztendő elmúlt, Félix utóda Porcius Festus lőn; és a zsidóknak kedveskedni akarván Félix, Pált fogságban hagyá.

But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

Doi ani au trecut astfel; şi, în locul lui Felix, a venit Porcius Festus. Felix a vrut să facă pe placul iudeilor, şi a lăsat pe Pavel în temniţă.
