Így jutott el Pál Derbébe és Lisztrába. Volt ott egy Timóteus nevű tanítvány, egy hívő zsidó asszonynak és görög apának a fia,

Juta pedig Derbébe és Listrába: És ímé vala ott egy Timótheus nevű tanítvány, egy hívő zsidó asszonynak, de görög atyának fia;

Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:

În urmă, Pavel s-a dus la Derbe şi la Listra. Şi iată că acolo era un ucenic, numit Timotei, fiul unei iudeice credincioase şi al unui tată grec.

Paul came also to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek.

akiről jó bizonyságot tettek a Lisztrában és Ikóniumban levő testvérek.

Kiről jó bizonyságot tesznek vala a Listrában és Ikóniumban levő atyafiak.

Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.

Fraţii din Listra şi Iconia îl vorbeau de bine.

He was well spoken of by the brothers at Lystra and Iconium.

Ezt Pál magával akarta vinni, ezért az ott lakó zsidókra való tekintettel körülmetélte, mert mindenki tudta, hogy az apja görög volt.

Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.

Pavel a vrut să-l ia cu el; şi, după ce l-a luat, l-a tăiat împrejur, din pricina iudeilor care erau în acele locuri; căci toţi ştiau că tatăl lui era grec.

Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him, and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

Amikor végigjárták a városokat, meghagyták nekik, hogy tartsák meg a rendeléseket, amelyeket a Jeruzsálemben levő apostolok és vének hoztak.

And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

Pe când trecea prin cetăţi, învăţa pe fraţi să păzească hotărârile apostolilor şi prezbiterilor din Ierusalim.

As they went on their way through the cities, they delivered to them for observance the decisions that had been reached by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem.

A gyülekezetek pedig naponként erősödtek a hitben, és gyarapodtak lélekszámban.

And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

Bisericile se întăreau în credinţă şi sporeau la număr din zi în zi.

So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.

Frígiát és Galácia tartományát járták be, mert a Szentlélek visszatartotta őket, hogy az igét Ázsiában hirdessék,

Eljárván pedig Frigiát és Galácia tartományát, mivelhogy eltiltatának a Szent Lélektől, hogy az ígét Ázsiában hirdessék,

Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,

Fiindcă au fost opriţi de Duhul Sfânt să vestească Cuvântul în Asia, au trecut prin ţinutul Frigiei şi Galatiei.

And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.

így Mízia felé menve, Bitíniába próbáltak jutni, de Jézus Lelke nem engedte őket.

Misia felé menvén, igyekeznek vala Bithiniába jutni; de nem ereszté őket a Lélek.

After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.

Ajunşi lângă Misia, se pregăteau să intre în Bitinia; dar Duhul lui Isus nu le-a dat voie.

And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them.

Akkor Mízián át lementek Tróászba.

Áthaladván azért Misián, lemenének Tróásba.

And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.

Au trecut atunci prin Misia şi s-au coborât la Troa.

So, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas.

Azon az éjjelen látomás jelent meg Pálnak: egy macedón férfi állt előtte, és ezekkel a szavakkal kérlelte őt: Jöjj át Macedóniába, és segíts nekünk!

És azon az éjszakán látás jelenék meg Pálnak: egy macedón férfiú állt [előtte,] kérve őt és ezt mondva: Jer által Macedóniába, és légy segítségül nékünk!

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

Noaptea, Pavel a avut o vedenie: un om din Macedonia stătea în picioare şi i-a făcut următoarea rugăminte: „Treci în Macedonia şi ajută-ne!”

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

Ahogy a látomást látta, azonnal igyekeztünk elmenni Macedóniába, mert megértettük, hogy oda hívott minket az Úr, hogy azoknak prédikáljuk az evangéliumot.

Mihelyt pedig a látást látta, azonnal igyekezénk elmenni Macedóniába, megértvén, hogy oda hívott minket az Úr, hogy azoknak prédikáljuk az evangyéliomot.

And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

După vedenia aceasta a lui Pavel, am căutat îndată să ne ducem în Macedonia, căci înţelegeam că Domnul ne cheamă să le vestim Evanghelia.

And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

Elhajózva Tróászból egyenesen Szamotrákéba mentünk, másnap Neápoliszba,

Elhajózván azért Tróásból, egyenesen Sámothrákéba mentünk, és másnap Neápolisba;

Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;

După ce am pornit din Troa, am mers cu corabia drept la Samotracia, şi a doua zi ne-am oprit la Neapolis.

So, setting sail from Troas, we made a direct voyage to Samothrace, and the following day to Neapolis,

onnan pedig Filippibe, amely római település, Macedónia e részének első városa. Ebben a városban töltöttünk néhány napot.

Onnét pedig Filippibe, mely Macedónia azon részének első gyarmatvárosa. És ebben a városban töltöttünk néhány napot.

And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.

De acolo ne-am dus la Filipi, care este cea dintâi cetate dintr-un ţinut al Macedoniei şi o colonie romană. În cetatea aceasta am stat câteva zile.

and from there to Philippi, which is a leading city of the district of Macedonia and a Roman colony. We remained in this city some days.

És szombaton kimentünk a városkapun kívül egy folyó mellé, ahol gondoltuk, hogy imádkozni szoktak, leültünk, és beszélgettünk az összegyűlt asszonyokkal.

És szombatnapon kimenénk a városon kívül egy folyóvíz mellé, hol az imádkozás szokott lenni; és leülvén, beszélgeténk az egybegyűlt asszonyokkal.

And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

În ziua Sabatului am ieşit afară pe poarta cetăţii, lângă un râu, unde credeam că se află un loc de rugăciune. Am şezut jos şi am vorbit femeilor care erau adunate laolaltă.

And on the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.

Egy Lídia nevű, Thiatíra városbeli bíborárus asszony, aki félte az Istent, hallgatott ránk. Ennek az Úr megnyitotta a szívét, hogy figyeljen arra, amit Pál mondott.

És egy Lidia nevű, Thiatira városbeli bíborárús asszony, ki féli vala az Istent, hallgata [reánk.] Ennek az Úr megnyitá szívét, hogy figyelmezzen azokra, a miket Pál mond vala.

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

Una din ele, numită Lidia, vânzătoare de purpură, din cetatea Tiatira, era o femeie temătoare de Dumnezeu şi asculta. Domnul i-a deschis inima, ca să ia aminte la cele ce spunea Pavel.

One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul.

Amikor pedig a házanépével együtt megkeresztelkedett, így kérlelt minket: Ha az Úr hívének ítéltetek engem, gyertek az én házamhoz, és maradjatok ott! És unszolt minket.

Mikor pedig megkeresztelkedék mind házanépével egybe, kére minket, mondván: Ha az Úr hívének ítéltetek engem, jertek az én házamhoz, és maradjatok [ott.] És unszola minket.

And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

După ce a fost botezată, ea şi casa ei, ne-a rugat şi ne-a zis: „Dacă mă socotiţi credincioasă Domnului, intraţi şi rămâneţi în casa mea.” Şi ne-a silit să intrăm.s

And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.

Történt pedig, hogy amikor imádkozásra mentünk, egy szolgálóleányka jött elénk, akiben jövendőmondás lelke volt, és aki urainak nagy hasznot hozott jövendőmondásával.

Lőn pedig, hogy mikor mentünk a könyörgésre, egy szolgálóleányka jöve előnkbe, kiben jövendőmondásnak lelke vala, ki az ő urainak nagy hasznot hajta jövendőmondásával.

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

Pe când ne duceam la locul de rugăciune, ne-a ieşit înainte o roabă care avea un duh de ghicire. Prin ghicire, ea aducea mult câştig stăpânilor ei.

As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling.

Ez követte Pált és minket, és így kiáltozott: Ezek az emberek a magasságos Isten szolgái, akik nektek az üdvösség útját hirdetik.

Ez követvén Pált és minket, kiált vala, mondván: Ezek az emberek a magasságos Istennek szolgái, kik néktek az idvességnek útját hirdetik.

The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Roaba aceasta s-a luat după Pavel şi după noi şi striga: „Oamenii aceştia sunt robii Dumnezeului celui Preaînalt şi ei vă vestesc calea mântuirii.”

She followed Paul and us, crying out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation.”

Ezt pedig több napon át művelte. Pált azonban bosszantotta ez, és hátrafordulva azt mondta a léleknek: Jézus Krisztus nevében parancsolom neked, hogy menj ki belőle! És az még abban az órában kiment belőle.

Ezt pedig több napon át mívelte. Pál azonban megbosszankodván, és hátrafordulván, mondá a léleknek: Parancsolom néked a Jézus Krisztus nevében, hogy menj ki belőle. És kiméne abban az órában.

And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Aşa a făcut ea timp de mai multe zile. Pavel, necăjit, s-a întors şi a zis duhului: „În Numele lui Isus Hristos îţi poruncesc să ieşi din ea.” Şi a ieşit chiar în ceasul acela.

And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour.

Annak urai pedig, amikor látták, hogy keresetük reménysége elveszett, megragadták Pált és Szilászt, és a piactérre, a hatóságok elé hurcolták őket.

Látván pedig annak az urai, hogy keresetüknek a reménysége elveszett, megfogva Pált és Silást, vonák a piaczra a hatóságok elé.

And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,

Când au văzut stăpânii roabei că s-a dus nădejdea câştigului lor, au pus mâna pe Pavel şi pe Sila şi i-au târât în piaţă înaintea fruntaşilor.

But when her owners saw that their hope of gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers.

Odavitték őket a bírákhoz, és azt mondták: Ezek az emberek megháborítják a városunkat, zsidók lévén

És odavezetvén őket a bírákhoz, mondának: Ezek az emberek zsidó létükre megháborítják a mi városunkat,

And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,

I-au dat pe mâna dregătorilor şi au zis: „Oamenii aceştia ne tulbură cetatea; sunt nişte iudei,

And when they had brought them to the magistrates, they said, “These men are Jews, and they are disturbing our city.

olyan szokásokat hirdetnek, amelyeket nem szabad nekünk sem átvennünk, sem követnünk, mivelhogy rómaiak vagyunk.

És olyan szertartásokat hirdetnek, melyeket nem szabad nékünk bevennünk, sem cselekednünk, mivelhogy rómaiak vagyunk.

And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

care vestesc nişte obiceiuri pe care noi, romanii, nu trebuie nici să le primim, nici să le urmăm.”

They advocate customs that are not lawful for us as Romans to accept or practice.”

És velük együtt a sokaság is ellenük fordult, a bírák pedig letépették ruháikat, és megvesszőztették őket.

És [velök] egyben feltámada a sokaság ő ellenök. A bírák pedig letépetvén ruháikat, megvesszőzteték [őket.]

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.

Norodul s-a ridicat şi el împotriva lor, şi dregătorii au pus să le smulgă hainele de pe ei şi au poruncit să-i bată cu nuiele.

The crowd joined in attacking them, and the magistrates tore the garments off them and gave orders to beat them with rods.

Miután sok ütést mértek rájuk, börtönbe vetették őket, megparancsolva a tömlöctartónak, hogy szigorúan őrizze őket.

És miután sok ütést mértek rájok, tömlöczbe veték [őket,] megparancsolva a tömlöcztartónak, hogy gondosan őrizze őket.

And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

După ce le-au dat multe lovituri, i-au aruncat în temniţă şi au dat în grijă temnicerului să-i păzească bine.

And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to keep them safely.

Az pedig a parancsnak megfelelően a belső börtönbe zárta őket, és lábukat kalodába szorította.

Ki ilyen parancsolatot vévén, veté őket a belső tömlöczbe, és lábaikat kalodába szorítá.

Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

Temnicerul, ca unul care primise o astfel de poruncă, i-a aruncat în temniţa dinăuntru şi le-a băgat picioarele în butuci.

Having received this order, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

Éjféltájban pedig Pál és Szilász imádkozott, és énekkel dicsőítette Istent. A foglyok pedig hallgatták őket.

Éjféltájban pedig Pál és Silás imádkozván, énekkel dicsőíték az Istent. A foglyok pedig hallgatják vala őket.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Pe la miezul nopţii, Pavel şi Sila se rugau şi cântau cântări de laudă lui Dumnezeu; iar cei închişi îi ascultau.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,

És hirtelen nagy földrengés támadt, úgyannyira, hogy megrendültek a börtön alapjai, és azonnal kinyílt minden ajtó, és a bilincsek mindenkiről leestek.

És hirtelen nagy földindulás lőn, úgyannyira, hogy megrendülének a tömlöcz fundamentomai; és azonnal megnyílának az ajtók mind, és mindnyájoknak a bilincsei feloldódnak.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Deodată, s-a făcut un mare cutremur de pământ, aşa că s-au clătinat temeliile temniţei. Îndată, s-au deschis toate uşile şi s-au dezlegat legăturile fiecăruia.

and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.

A börtönőr pedig álmából fölriadva látta, hogy nyitva vannak a börtön ajtajai, kivonta kardját, és meg akarta ölni magát, mert azt gondolta, hogy megszöktek a foglyok.

Fölserkenvén pedig a tömlöcztartó, és látván, hogy nyitva vannak a tömlöcznek ajtai, kivonva fegyverét, meg akará magát ölni, azt gondolván, hogy elszöktek a foglyok.

And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

Temnicerul s-a deşteptat; şi, când a văzut uşile temniţei deschise, a scos sabia şi era să se omoare, căci credea că cei închişi au fugit.

When the jailer woke and saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.

Pál azonban hangosan így kiáltott: Semmi kárt ne tégy magadban, mert mindnyájan itt vagyunk!

Pál azonban nagy fenszóval kiáltá, mondván: Semmi kárt ne tégy magadban; mert mindnyájan itt vagyunk!

But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

Dar Pavel a strigat cu glas tare: „Să nu-ţi faci niciun rău, căci toţi suntem aici.”

But Paul cried with a loud voice, “Do not harm yourself, for we are all here.”

Az pedig világosságot kérve berohant, és remegve borult Pál és Szilász elé,

Az pedig világot kérve beugrott, és remegve borult Pál és Silás elé,

Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

Atunci temnicerul a cerut o lumină, a sărit înăuntru şi, tremurând de frică, s-a aruncat la picioarele lui Pavel şi ale lui Sila;

And the jailer called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas.

majd kihozta őket, és azt kérdezte: Uraim, mit kell tennem, hogy üdvözüljek?

És kihozván őket, monda: Uraim, mit kell nékem cselekednem, hogy idvezüljek?

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

i-a scos afară şi le-a zis: „Domnilor, ce trebuie să fac ca să fiu mântuit?”

Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

Azok pedig így válaszoltak: Higgy az Úr Jézus Krisztusban, és üdvözülsz mind te, mind a te házad népe!

Azok pedig mondának: Higyj az Úr Jézus Krisztusban, és idvezülsz mind te, mind a te házadnépe!

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Pavel şi Sila i-au răspuns: „Crede în Domnul Isus, şi vei fi mântuit tu şi casa ta.”

And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

És hirdették neki az Úr igéjét, és mindazoknak, akik az ő házánál voltak.

És hirdeték néki az Úrnak ígéjét, és mindazoknak, kik az ő házánál valának.

And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

Şi i-au vestit Cuvântul Domnului, atât lui cât şi tuturor celor din casa lui.

And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.

Ő pedig magához vette őket az éjszakának abban az órájában, kimosta őket sebeikből, és azonnal megkeresztelkedett az övéivel együtt.

És az magához vévén őket az éjszakának azon órájában, megmosá az ütésektől; és megkeresztelkedék azonnal ő és az övéi mindnyájan.

And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

Temnicerul i-a luat cu el, chiar în ceasul acela din noapte, le-a spălat rănile şi a fost botezat îndată, el şi toţi ai lui.

And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.

És bevitte őket a házába, asztalt terített nekik, és egész házanépével együtt örvendezett, hogy Istenben való hitre jutott.

És bevivén őket házába, asztalt teríte nékik, és egész háznépével egyben örvendeze, hogy hitt az Istennek.

And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

După ce i-a dus în casă, le-a pus masa şi s-a bucurat cu toată casa lui că a crezut în Dumnezeu.

Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. And he rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God.

Amikor pedig megvirradt, a bírák elküldték a szolgákat ezzel az üzenettel: Bocsásd el azokat az embereket!

Mikor pedig megvirradt, a bírák elküldék a poroszlókat, mondván: Bocsásd el azokat az embereket.

And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.

Când s-a făcut ziuă, dregătorii au trimis pe cei ce purtau nuielele, să spună temnicerului: „Dă drumul oamenilor acelora.”

But when it was day, the magistrates sent the police, saying, “Let those men go.”

A tömlöctartó pedig tudtára adta ezt az üzenetet Pálnak: A bírák ideküldtek, hogy bocsássalak el titeket, most tehát távozhattok, menjetek el békességgel!

A tömlöcztartó pedig tudtára adá e szavakat Pálnak: A bírák ide küldöttek, hogy bocsássalak el titeket: most azért kimenvén, menjetek el békességgel!

And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.

Şi temnicerul a spus lui Pavel aceste cuvinte: „Dregătorii au trimis să vi se dea drumul; acum, dar, ieşiţi afară şi duceţi-vă în pace.”

And the jailer reported these words to Paul, saying, “The magistrates have sent to let you go. Therefore come out now and go in peace.”

Pál pedig azt mondta nekik: Megvesszőztek minket nyilvánosan, ítélet nélkül, holott római polgárok vagyunk, és börtönbe vetettek, és most titokban akarnak bennünket kiküldeni? Azt nem, hanem jöjjenek ide, és ők maguk vezessenek ki minket!

Pál pedig monda nékik: Megvesszőztek minket nyilvánosan, ítélet nélkül, holott római emberek vagyunk, és tömlöczbe vetettek: és most alattomban akarnak bennünket kiküldeni? Nem úgy; hanem jőjjenek ők maguk és vezessenek ki minket.

But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.

Dar Pavel le-a zis: „După ce ne-au bătut cu nuiele în faţa tuturor, fără să fim judecaţi, pe noi, care suntem romani, ne-au aruncat în temniţă, şi acum ne scot afară pe ascuns! Nu merge aşa! Să vină ei singuri să ne scoată afară!”

But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, uncondemned, men who are Roman citizens, and have thrown us into prison; and do they now throw us out secretly? No! Let them come themselves and take us out.”

A szolgák pedig elmondták a bíráknak ezeket a szavakat, azok pedig megijedtek, amikor meghallották, hogy rómaiak.

Odamentek, és bocsánatot kértek tőlük, majd kikísérték őket, és kérték, hogy távozzanak a városból.

És odamenvén, megkérlelék őket: és kivezetvén, kérék, hogy menjenek ki a városból.

And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city.

Ők pedig, ahogy kijöttek a börtönből, elmentek Lídiához, és a testvéreket látva vigasztalták őket, majd eltávoztak.
