Azokban a napokban pedig, ahogy a tanítványok számban gyarapodtak, a görögül beszélő zsidók között zúgolódás támadt a héberek ellen, hogy a közülük való özvegyasszonyokat mellőzik a mindennapi szolgálatban.

And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

În zilele acelea, când s-a înmulţit numărul ucenicilor, evreii care vorbeau greceşte cârteau împotriva evreilor, pentru că văduvele lor erau trecute cu vederea la împărţirea ajutoarelor de toate zilele.

Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution.

Ekkor a tizenkettő összehívta a tanítványok sokaságát, és ezt mondták: Nem helyes az, hogy mi az Isten igéjét elhagyjuk, és az asztalok körül szolgálunk.

Annakokáért a tizenkettő egybegyűjtvén a tanítványok sokaságát, mondának: Nem helyes, hogy mi az Isten ígéjét elhagyjuk és az asztalok körül szolgáljunk.

Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Cei doisprezece au adunat mulţimea ucenicilor şi au zis: „Nu este potrivit pentru noi să lăsăm Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu ca să slujim la mese.

And the twelve summoned the full number of the disciples and said, “It is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables.

Testvéreink, válasszatok ki magatok közül hét férfit, akiről jó bizonyságot tesznek, akik Lélekkel és bölcsességgel teljesek, hogy őket rendeljük erre a szolgálatra,

Válaszszatok azért, atyámfiai, ti közületek hét férfiút, kiknek [jó] bizonyságuk van, kik Szent Lélekkel és bölcseséggel teljesek, kiket erre a foglalatosságra beállítsunk.

Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

De aceea, fraţilor, alegeţi dintre voi şapte bărbaţi, vorbiţi de bine, plini de Duhul Sfânt şi înţelepciune, pe care îi vom pune la slujba aceasta.

Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty.

mi pedig az imádkozás és az igehirdetés szolgálatát végezzük.

Mi pedig foglalatosok maradunk a könyörgésben és az ígehirdetés szolgálatában.

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Iar noi vom stărui necurmat în rugăciune şi în propovăduirea Cuvântului.”

But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

Tetszett ez a beszéd az egész sokaságnak, és kiválasztották Istvánt, aki hittel és Szentlélekkel teljes férfi volt, Fülöpöt, Prokhoroszt, Nikánórt, Timónt, Parmenászt és Nikoláoszt, aki antiókhiai prozelita volt,

És tetszék e beszéd az egész sokaságnak: és kiválaszták Istvánt, ki hittel és Szent Lélekkel teljes férfiú vala, Filepet, Prokhórust, Nikánórt, Timónt, Párménást és Nikolaust, ki Antiókhiából való prozelitus vala;

And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

Vorbirea aceasta a plăcut întregii adunări. Au ales pe Ştefan, bărbat plin de credinţă şi de Duhul Sfânt, pe Filip, pe Prohor, pe Nicanor, pe Timon, pe Parmena şi pe Nicolae, un prozelit din Antiohia.

And what they said pleased the whole gathering, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch.

akiket az apostolok elé állítottak, majd imádkoztak, és rájuk tették kezüket.

Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

Az Isten igéje pedig terjedt, és a tanítványok száma igen megnövekedett Jeruzsálemben, és a papok közül is nagyon sokan engedtek a hitnek.

És az Isten ígéje növekedék; és sokasodék nagyon a tanítványok száma Jeruzsálemben; és a papok közül is nagy sokan követék a hitet.

And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu se răspândea tot mai mult, numărul ucenicilor se înmulţea mult în Ierusalim, şi o mare mulţime de preoţi veneau la credinţă.

And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.

István pedig kegyelemmel és erővel teljesen, nagy csodákat és jeleket tett a nép között.

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

And Stephen, full of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people.

Azonban a zsinagógából előálltak némelyek, akiket szabadosoknak neveztek, valamint a ciréneiek, az alexandriaiak, a ciliciaiak és az ázsiaiak, és vitatkozni kezdtek Istvánnal.

Előállának azonban némelyek ahhoz a zsinagógához tartozók közül, mely a szabadosokénak, Czirénebeliekének, Alexandriabeliekének és a Czilicziából és Ázsiából valókénak neveztetett, kik Istvánnal vetekednek vala.

Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

Unii din sinagoga numită a izbăviţilor, a cirinenilor şi a alexandrinilor, împreună cu nişte iudei din Cilicia şi din Asia, au început o ceartă de vorbe cu Ştefan;

Then some of those who belonged to the synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called), and of the Cyrenians, and of the Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and disputed with Stephen.

De nem állhattak ellene annak a bölcsességnek és a Léleknek, amellyel beszélt.

De nem állhattak ellene a bölcseségnek és a Léleknek, mely által szól vala.

And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

dar nu puteau să stea împotriva înţelepciunii şi Duhului cu care vorbea el.

But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking.

Akkor felbujtottak néhány embert, akik azt mondták: Hallottuk, hogy káromló beszédeket mondott Mózes és Isten ellen.

Akkor felbujtottak valami embereket, kik mondának: Hallottuk őt káromló beszédeket szólni Mózes ellen és az Isten ellen.

Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

Atunci au pus la cale pe nişte oameni să zică: „Noi l-am auzit rostind cuvinte de hulă împotriva lui Moise şi împotriva lui Dumnezeu.”

Then they secretly instigated men who said, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

Ezzel fellázították a népet, a véneket és az írástudókat is, majd rátámadva elfogták, és a nagytanács elé hurcolták.

És felzendíték a népet, a véneket és az írástudókat; és reá rohanván, magukkal ragadák őt, és vivék a tanács elé;

And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,

Au întărâtat norodul, pe bătrâni şi pe cărturari, au năvălit asupra lui, au pus mâna pe el şi l-au dus în sobor.

And they stirred up the people and the elders and the scribes, and they came upon him and seized him and brought him before the council,

Hamis tanúkat is állítottak ellene, akik azt mondták: Ez az ember nem szűnik meg káromló beszédeket szólni e szent hely és a törvény ellen.

És állatának hamis tanúkat, kik mondának: Ez az ember nem szűnik meg káromló beszédeket szólni e szent hely ellen és a törvény ellen:

And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

Au scos nişte martori mincinoşi care au zis: „Omul acesta nu încetează să spună cuvinte de hulă împotriva acestui Locaş Sfânt şi împotriva Legii.

and they set up false witnesses who said, “This man never ceases to speak words against this holy place and the law,

Hallottuk, amikor azt mondta, hogy az a názáreti Jézus ezt a helyet lerontja, és megváltoztatja azokat a szokásokat, amelyeket Mózes hagyott ránk.

Mert hallottuk, a mint azt mondá, hogy az a názáreti Jézus ezt a helyet elrontja, és megváltoztatja a czerimóniákat, melyeket adott nékünk Mózes.

For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

În adevăr, l-am auzit zicând că acest Isus din Nazaret va dărâma Locaşul acesta şi va schimba obiceiurile pe care ni le-a dat Moise.”

for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and will change the customs that Moses delivered to us.”

A nagytanácsban ülők pedig mindnyájan rátekintettek, és arcát olyannak látták, mint egy angyalét.

És szemeiket reá vetvén a tanácsban űlők mindnyájan, [olyannak] láták az ő orczáját, mint egy angyalnak orczáját.

And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

Toţi cei ce şedeau în sobor s-au uitat ţintă la Ştefan, şi faţa lui li s-a arătat ca o faţă de înger.

And gazing at him, all who sat in the council saw that his face was like the face of an angel.
