Ahogy elváltunk tőlük, és kifutottunk a tengerre, egyenesen Kósz szigetére érkeztünk, másnap pedig Rodoszba és onnan Patarába.

A mint pedig, ő tőlük elszakadván, elindultunk, egyenesen haladva Kóusba érkezénk, másnap pedig Rhodusba, és onnét Patarába.

And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:

După ce ne-am smuls din braţele lor, am plecat pe apă şi ne-am dus drept la Cos, a doua zi la Rodos, şi de-acolo la Patara.

And when we had parted from them and set sail, we came by a straight course to Cos, and the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.

Amikor találtunk egy hajót, amely Föníciába ment, beszálltunk és elhajóztunk.

És mikor találtunk egy hajót, mely Fenicziába méne által, abba beülvén, elhajózánk.

And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.

Am găsit o corabie, care avea să treacă în Fenicia, ne-am suit în ea şi am plecat.

And having found a ship crossing to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail.

Miután Ciprust megpillantottuk, és bal kéz felől elhagytuk, Szíriába eveztünk, és Tíruszban kötöttünk ki, mert a hajó ott tette ki a rakományát.

És miután megláttuk Cziprust és elhagytuk azt balkézre, evezénk Siriába, és Tirusban köténk ki: mert a hajó ott rakja vala ki a terhét.

Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.

Am trecut prin faţa insulei Cipru, am lăsat-o la stânga şi ne-am urmat drumul spre Siria; apoi ne-am dat jos în Tir, unde avea să se descarce corabia.

When we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left we sailed to Syria and landed at Tyre, for there the ship was to unload its cargo.

And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

Acolo am găsit pe ucenici şi am rămas şapte zile. Ucenicii, prin Duhul, ziceau lui Pavel să nu se suie la Ierusalim.

And having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days. And through the Spirit they were telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.

Ott töltött napjaink elteltével, útnak indultunk, ők pedig mindnyájan kikísértek bennünket feleségestül, gyermekestül egészen a városon kívülre, és a tenger partján térdre esve imádkoztunk.

Mikor pedig eltöltöttük azokat a napokat, kimenvén, elutazánk; kikísérvén bennünket mindnyájan feleségestől, gyermekestől egészen a városon kívülre. És a tenger partján térdre esve imádkozánk.

And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

When our days there were ended, we departed and went on our journey, and they all, with wives and children, accompanied us until we were outside the city. And kneeling down on the beach, we prayed

And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.

Apoi ne-am luat ziua bună unii de la alţii, şi noi ne-am suit în corabie, iar ei s-au întors acasă.

and said farewell to one another. Then we went on board the ship, and they returned home.

Hajóutunk végeztével Tíruszból Ptolemaiszba jutottunk. Köszöntöttük a testvéreket, és náluk maradtunk egy napig.

Mi pedig a hajózást bevégezvén, Tirusból eljutánk Ptolemaisba; és köszöntvén az atyafiakat, nálok maradánk egy napig.

And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.

După ce ne-am isprăvit călătoria pe mare, din Tir am plecat la Ptolemaida, unde am urat de bine fraţilor şi am stat la ei o zi.

When we had finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais, and we greeted the brothers and stayed with them for one day.

Másnap elindultunk, és Cézáreába érkeztünk, és betértünk Fülöp evangélista házába, aki a hét közül való volt, és nála maradtunk.

Másnap pedig elmenvén Pál és mi, kik ő vele valánk, érkezénk Czezáreába; és bemenvén a Filep evangyélista házába, ki ama hét közül való vala, ő nála maradánk.

And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

On the next day we departed and came to Caesarea, and we entered the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.

Neki négy hajadon lánya volt, akik prófétáltak.

And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

He had four unmarried daughters, who prophesied.

Mialatt több napig ott maradtunk, lejött egy Júdeából való próféta, név szerint Agabosz.

Mialatt pedig mi több napig ott maradánk, alájöve egy Júdeából való próféta, névszerint Agabus.

And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

Fiindcă stăteam de mai multe zile acolo, un proroc, numit Agab, s-a coborât din Iudeea

While we were staying for many days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.

Amikor eljött hozzánk, levette Pál övét, és kezét-lábát megkötözte vele, majd azt mondta: Ezt mondja a Szentlélek: Azt a férfit, akié ez az öv, így kötözik meg a zsidók Jeruzsálemben, és a pogányok kezébe adják.

És mikor hozzánk jött, vevé Pálnak az övét, és megkötözvén a maga kezeit és lábait, monda: Ezt mondja a Szent Lélek: A férfiút, a kié ez az öv, ekképen kötözik meg a zsidók Jeruzsálemben, és adják a pogányoknak kezébe.

And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

şi a venit la noi. A luat brâul lui Pavel, şi-a legat picioarele şi mâinile şi a zis: „Iată ce zice Duhul Sfânt: „Aşa vor lega iudeii în Ierusalim pe omul acela al cui este brâul acesta şi-l vor da în mâinile Neamurilor.”

And coming to us, he took Paul’s belt and bound his own feet and hands and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘This is how the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

Când am auzit lucrul acesta, atât noi, cât şi cei de acolo, am rugat pe Pavel să nu se suie la Ierusalim.

When we heard this, we and the people there urged him not to go up to Jerusalem.

De Pál így felelt: Miért sírtok, és keserítitek a szívemet? Mert én nemcsak megkötöztetni, hanem meghalni is kész vagyok Jeruzsálemben az Úr Jézus nevéért.

De Pál felele: Mit míveltek sírván és az én szívemet kesergetvén? mert én nemcsak megkötöztetni, hanem meghalni is kész vagyok Jeruzsálemben az Úr Jézusnak nevéért.

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Atunci Pavel a răspuns: „Ce faceţi de plângeţi aşa şi-mi rupeţi inima? Eu sunt gata nu numai să fiu legat, dar chiar să şi mor în Ierusalim pentru Numele Domnului Isus.”

Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Amikor nem hagyta magát lebeszélni, megnyugodtunk, és azt mondtuk: Legyen meg az Úr akarata.

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

Dacă am văzut că nu-l putem îndupleca, n-am mai stăruit şi am zis: „Facă-se voia Domnului!”

And since he would not be persuaded, we ceased and said, “Let the will of the Lord be done.”

E napok után pedig felkészültünk, és felmentünk Jeruzsálembe.

And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.

După zilele acelea, ne-am pregătit de plecare şi ne-am suit la Ierusalim.

After these days we got ready and went up to Jerusalem.

Velünk jött néhány cézáreai tanítvány is, akik elvezettek egy régi tanítványhoz, a ciprusi Mnázonhoz, hogy nála szálljunk meg.

There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

Câţiva ucenici din Cezareea au venit şi ei cu noi şi ne-au dus la unul numit Mnason, din Cipru, vechi ucenic, la care aveam să găzduim.

And some of the disciples from Caesarea went with us, bringing us to the house of Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we should lodge.

And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.

And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.

On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.

Köszöntötte őket, és részletesen elmondta, mit tett Isten a pogányok között a szolgálata által.

És köszöntvén őket, elbeszélé egyenként, a miket az Isten a pogányok között az ő szolgálata által cselekedett.

And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.

After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.

Azok pedig ezt hallva dicsőítették Istent, és azt mondták neki: Látod, testvér, milyen sok ezren vannak a zsidók között, akik hívők, és mindnyájan buzognak a törvényért!

Azok pedig [ezt] hallván, dicsőíték az Urat; és mondának néki: Látod, atyámfia, mely sok ezeren vannak zsidók, kik hívőkké lettek; és mindnyájan buzognak a törvény mellett:

And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

Când l-au auzit, au proslăvit pe Dumnezeu. Apoi i-au zis: „Vezi, frate, câte mii de iudei au crezut, şi toţi sunt plini de râvnă pentru Lege.

And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law,

Felőled pedig azt hallották, hogy te mindazokat a zsidókat, akik a pogányok között vannak, a Mózestől való elszakadásra tanítod, azt mondva, hogy ne metéljék körül fiaikat, és ne tartsák meg a zsidó szokásokat.

And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

Dar ei au auzit despre tine că înveţi pe toţi iudeii care trăiesc printre Neamuri să se lepede de Moise, că le zici să nu-şi taie copiii împrejur şi să nu trăiască potrivit cu obiceiurile.

and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or walk according to our customs.

Mi hát a teendő? Mindenképpen meg fogják hallani, hogy idejöttél.

Micsoda annakokáért? Mindenesetre össze kell gyülekezni a sokaságnak; mert meghallják, hogy ide jöttél.

What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.

Ce este de făcut? Negreşit, mulţimea are să se adune, căci vor auzi că ai venit.

What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come.

Tedd meg azért, amit mondunk neked. Van köztünk négy férfi, akik fogadalmat tettek.

Ezt míveld azért, a mit néked mondunk: Van mi köztünk négy férfiú, kik fogadalmat vettek magokra;

Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

Deci fă ce-ţi vom spune noi. Avem aici patru bărbaţi care au făcut o juruinţă.

Do therefore what we tell you. We have four men who are under a vow;

Vedd magad mellé őket, és tisztulj meg velük együtt, fizesd ki a költségeiket, hogy megnyírhassák a fejüket, és így mindenki megtudja, hogy semmi sem igaz abból, amit felőled hallott, hanem te magad is úgy élsz, hogy a törvényt megtartod.

Ezeket magad mellé vévén, tisztulj meg velök, és költs rájok, hogy megnyíressék fejöket: és megtudják mindenek, hogy semmi sincs azokban, a miket te felőled hallottak; hanem te magad is úgy jársz, hogy a törvényt megtartod.

Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

Ia-i cu tine, curăţă-te împreună cu ei şi cheltuie tu pentru ei, ca să-şi radă capul. Şi astfel vor cunoaşte toţi că nu este nimic adevărat din cele ce au auzit despre tine, ci că şi tu umbli întocmai după rânduială şi păzeşti Legea.

take these men and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses, so that they may shave their heads. Thus all will know that there is nothing in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself also live in observance of the law.

A pogányokból lett hívőknek pedig már megírtuk azt a határozatot, hogy tartózkodjanak a bálványoknak áldozott hústól, a vértől, a fulladt állattól és a paráznaságtól.

A pogányokból lett hívők felől pedig mi írtunk, azt végezvén, hogy ők semmi ilyenfélét ne tartsanak meg, hanem csak oltalmazzák meg magokat mind a bálványoknak áldozott hústól, mind a vértől, mind a fúlvaholt állattól, mind a paráznaságtól.

As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

Cu privire la Neamurile care au crezut, noi am hotărât şi le-am scris că trebuie să se ferească de lucrurile jertfite idolilor, de sânge, de dobitoace sugrumate şi de curvie.”

But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.”

Akkor Pál maga mellé vette azokat a férfiakat, és másnap velük együtt elvégezte a tisztulási szertartást, bement a templomba, és bejelentette, hogy mikor telnek le a tisztulás napjai, addig pedig mindegyikükért bemutatják az áldozatot.

Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

Atunci Pavel a luat pe oamenii aceia, s-a curăţat şi a intrat cu ei a doua zi în Templu, ca să vestească sfârşitul zilelor curăţării când se va aduce jertfă pentru fiecare din ei.

Then Paul took the men, and the next day he purified himself along with them and went into the temple, giving notice when the days of purification would be fulfilled and the offering presented for each one of them.

Amikor pedig a hét nap már a vége felé járt, az Ázsiából való zsidók meglátták őt a templomban. Fellázították az egész sokaságot, majd megragadták,

And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

When the seven days were almost completed, the Jews from Asia, seeing him in the temple, stirred up the whole crowd and laid hands on him,

és így kiáltoztak: Izraelita férfiak, segítsetek! Ez az az ember, aki e nép ellen, a törvény ellen és e hely ellen tanít mindenkit mindenütt; és ezenfelül még görögöket is behozott a templomba, és megszentségtelenítette ezt a szent helyet.

Kiáltván: Izraelita férfiak, legyetek segítségül: ez az az ember, ki e nép ellen, a törvény ellen és e hely ellen tanít mindenkit mindenütt; ezen felül még görögöket is hozott be a templomba, és megfertéztette ezt a szent helyet.

Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

crying out, “Men of Israel, help! This is the man who is teaching everyone everywhere against the people and the law and this place. Moreover, he even brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.”

Mert korábban az efezusi Trofimosszal látták a városban, és azt hitték, hogy Pál bevitte őt a templomba.

(For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)

For they had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the city, and they supposed that Paul had brought him into the temple.

Megmozdult azért az egész város, a nép összecsődült, Pált megragadták, kivonszolták a templomból, és a kapukat azon nyomban bezárták.

Megmozdula azért az egész város, és a nép összecsődüle: és Pált megragadván, vonszolják vala ki őt a templomból: és mindjárt bezáratának az ajtók.

And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.

Toată cetatea s-a pus în mişcare şi s-a strâns norodul din toate părţile. Au pus mâna pe Pavel şi l-au scos afară din Templu, ale cărui uşi au fost încuiate îndată.

Then all the city was stirred up, and the people ran together. They seized Paul and dragged him out of the temple, and at once the gates were shut.

Amikor már azon voltak, hogy megölik, felment egy jelentés a sereg ezredeséhez, hogy egész Jeruzsálem lázong;

Mikor pedig meg akarák őt ölni, feljuta a hír a sereg ezredeséhez, hogy az egész Jeruzsálem felzendült.

And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

Pe când încercau să-l omoare, s-a dus vestea la căpitanul oştii că tot Ierusalimul s-a tulburat.

And as they were seeking to kill him, word came to the tribune of the cohort that all Jerusalem was in confusion.

ő azonnal katonákat és századosokat vett maga mellé, és lerohant hozzájuk. Azok pedig, amikor meglátták az ezredest és a katonákat, abbahagyták Pál ütlegelését.

Ki azonnal vitézeket és századosokat vévén maga mellé, lefutott hozzájok. Azok pedig mikor meglátták az ezredest és a vitézeket, megszűnének Pált verni.

Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.

Acesta a luat îndată ostaşi şi sutaşi şi a alergat la ei. Când au văzut pe căpitan şi pe ostaşi, au încetat să mai bată pe Pavel.

He at once took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. And when they saw the tribune and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.

Ahogy az ezredes odaért, elfogatta, és megparancsolta, hogy kötözzék meg két lánccal, és tudakozódott, hogy ki ez az ember, és mit tett.

Akkor odaérvén az ezredes, elfogatá őt, és parancsolá, hogy kötözzék meg két lánczczal; és tudakozá, hogy kicsoda és mit cselekedett.

Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.

Atunci căpitanul s-a apropiat, a pus mâna pe el şi a poruncit să-l lege cu două lanţuri. Apoi a întrebat cine este şi ce a făcut.

Then the tribune came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. He inquired who he was and what he had done.

De ki ezt, ki azt kiáltozta a sokaságban, és mivel a zajongás miatt nem tudott meg semmi bizonyosat, az ezredes megparancsolta, hogy vezessék a várba.

De ki egyet, ki mást kiált vala a sokaság között; és mikor nem értheté meg a bizonyos valóságot a zajongás miatt, parancsolá, hogy vigyék el őt a várba.

And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.

Dar unii strigau într-un fel, alţii în alt fel prin mulţime; fiindcă nu putea deci să înţeleagă adevărul, din pricina zarvei, a poruncit să-l ducă în cetăţuie.

Some in the crowd were shouting one thing, some another. And as he could not learn the facts because of the uproar, he ordered him to be brought into the barracks.

Amikor a lépcsőkhöz jutott, az történt, hogy a katonáknak vinniük kellett Pált a tömeg erőszakossága miatt,

Mikor pedig a lépcsőkhöz jutott, lőn, hogy úgy vivék őt a vitézek a néptömeg erőszaktétele miatt;

And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people.

Când a ajuns pe trepte, Pavel a trebuit să fie dus de ostaşi, din pricina îmbulzelii norodului întărâtat;

And when he came to the steps, he was actually carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd,

mert a tömeg utánuk tódult, és azt kiáltozta: Végeztesd ki!

Mert követi vala a népnek sokasága, kiáltozva: Öld meg őt!

For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.

căci mulţimea norodului se ţinea după el şi striga: „La moarte cu el!”

for the mob of the people followed, crying out, “Away with him!”

Amikor már éppen be akarták vinni Pált a várba, azt mondta az ezredesnek: Szabad valamit mondanom neked? Ő pedig azt kérdezte: Te tudsz görögül?

És mikor immár a várba akarák bevinni Pált, monda az ezredesnek: Vajjon szabad-e nékem valamit szólanom te hozzád? Az pedig monda: Tudsz görögül?

And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?

Tocmai când era să fie băgat în cetăţuie, Pavel a zis căpitanului: „Îmi este îngăduit să-ţi spun ceva?” Căpitanul a răspuns: „Ştii greceşte?

As Paul was about to be brought into the barracks, he said to the tribune, “May I say something to you?” And he said, “Do you know Greek?

Hát nem te vagy az az egyiptomi, aki néhány nappal korábban felkelést szított, és kivitte a pusztába azt a négyezer felfegyverzett férfit?

Hát nem te vagy az az egyiptomi, ki e napoknak előtte fellázította és kivitte a pusztába azt a négyezer orgyilkos férfiút?

Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

Nu cumva eşti egipteanul acela care s-a răsculat acum în urmă şi a dus în pustiu pe cei patru mii de tâlhari?”

Are you not the Egyptian, then, who recently stirred up a revolt and led the four thousand men of the Assassins out into the wilderness?”

Mire Pál így válaszolt: Én ugyan tarzuszi zsidó ember vagyok, Cilicia nevezetes városának polgára, de kérlek, engedd meg nekem, hogy szóljak a néphez.

Monda pedig Pál: Én ugyan tárzusi zsidó ember vagyok, Cziliczia nem ismeretlen városának polgára; de kérlek téged, engedd meg nékem, hogy szóljak a néphez.

But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.

„Eu sunt iudeu”, a spus Pavel, „din Tarsul din Cilicia, cetăţean al unei cetăţi nu fără însemnătate. Te rog, dă-mi voie să vorbesc norodului.”

Paul replied, “I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no obscure city. I beg you, permit me to speak to the people.”

Amikor megengedte, Pál a lépcsőn állva intett kezével a népnek, és amikor nagy csendesség lett, héber nyelven szólította meg őket:

Mikor aztán az megengedte, Pál a lépcsőkön állva intett kezével a népnek: és mikor nagy csendesség lőn, megszólala zsidó nyelven, mondván:

And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,

După ce i-a dat voie căpitanul, Pavel a stat în picioare pe trepte şi a făcut semn norodului cu mâna. S-a făcut o mare tăcere, şi Pavel le-a vorbit în limba evreiască astfel:

And when he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the steps, motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great hush, he addressed them in the Hebrew language, saying:
