Antiókhiában, az ottani gyülekezetben volt néhány próféta és tanító: Barnabás és Simeon, akit Nigernek is hívtak, és a cirénei Lucius és Manaén, aki Heródessel, a negyedes fejedelemmel együtt nevelkedett, és Saul.

Valának pedig Antiókhiában az [ott] levő gyülekezetben némely próféták és tanítók: Barnabás és Simeon, ki hivattatik vala Nigernek, és a Czirénei Luczius és Manaen, ki Heródessel, a negyedes fejedelemmel együtt neveltetett vala, és Saulus.

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

În Biserica din Antiohia erau nişte proroci şi învăţători: Barnaba, Simon, numit Niger, Luciu din Cirena, Manaen, care fusese crescut împreună cu cârmuitorul Irod, şi Saul.

Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers, Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Amikor egyszer ezek az Úrnak szolgáltak és böjtöltek, azt mondta a Szentlélek: Válasszátok ki nekem Barnabást és Sault arra a munkára, amelyre elhívtam őket.

Mikor azért azok szolgálának az Úrnak és bőjtölének, monda a Szent Lélek: Válaszszátok el nékem Barnabást és Saulust a munkára, a melyre én őket elhívtam.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Pe când slujeau Domnului şi posteau, Duhul Sfânt a zis: „Puneţi-Mi deoparte pe Barnaba şi pe Saul, pentru lucrarea la care i-am chemat.”

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Így aztán, miután böjtöltek és imádkoztak, kezüket rájuk tették, és elbocsátották őket.

And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

Barnaba şi Saul, trimişi de Duhul Sfânt, s-au coborât la Seleucia, şi de acolo au plecat cu corabia la Cipru.

So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

Amikor Szalamiszba értek, az Isten igéjét a zsidók zsinagógáiban hirdették, és János is velük volt mint segítőtárs.

És mikor Salamisba jutottak, hirdeték az Isten beszédét a zsidóknak zsinagógáiban: és János is velük vala, mint segítőtárs.

And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

Ajunşi la Salamina, au vestit Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu în sinagogile iudeilor. Aveau de slujitor pe Ioan.

When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. And they had John to assist them.

Ahogy bejárták a szigetet egészen Páfoszig, találkoztak egy zsidó mágus, hamis prófétával, akit Barjézusnak hívtak.

És eljárván a szigetet mind Páfusig, találkozának egy ördöngős hamispróféta zsidóra, kinek neve [vala] Barjézus;

And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:

După ce au străbătut toată insula până la Pafos, au întâlnit pe un vrăjitor, proroc mincinos, un iudeu cu numele Bar-Isus,

When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain magician, a Jewish false prophet named Bar-Jesus.

Ez Szergiusz Paulusz helytartónak, ennek az okos embernek a kíséretéhez tartozott. Ő magához hívatta Barnabást és Sault, mert hallani akarta Isten beszédét.

Ki Sergius Paulus tiszttartóval, ez okos emberrel vala. Ez magához hivatván Barnabást és Saulust, kíváná hallani az Isten beszédét.

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

care era cu dregătorul Sergius Paulus, un om înţelept. Acesta din urmă a chemat pe Barnaba şi pe Saul şi şi-a arătat dorinţa să audă Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu.

He was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence, who summoned Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.

Elimás, a mágus azonban (neve ugyanis ezt jelenti) ellenállt nekik, és igyekezett a helytartót elfordítani a hittől.

Elimás, az ördöngős azonban (mert így magyaráztatik az ő neve) ellenkezik vala velök, igyekezvén a tiszttartót elfordítani a hittől.

But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

Dar Elima, vrăjitorul – căci aşa se tâlcuieşte numele lui – le stătea împotrivă şi căuta să abată pe dregător de la credinţă.

But Elymas the magician (for that is the meaning of his name) opposed them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.

De Saul, akit Pálnak is hívnak, megtelve Szentlélekkel rászegezte tekintetét,

De Saulus, ki Pál is, megtelvén Szent Lélekkel, szemeit reá vetve,

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.

Atunci Saul, care se mai numeşte şi Pavel, fiind plin de Duhul Sfânt, s-a uitat ţintă la el

But Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him

és azt mondta: Te minden csalással és hamissággal teljes ördögfi, minden igazság ellensége, nem szűnsz meg elfordítani az Úr igaz útjait?

Monda: Ó minden álnoksággal és minden gonoszsággal teljes ördögfi, minden igazságnak ellensége, nem szűnöl-é meg az Úrnak igaz útait elfordítani?

And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

şi a zis: „Om plin de toată viclenia şi de toată răutatea, fiul dracului, vrăjmaş al oricărei neprihăniri, nu mai încetezi tu să strâmbi căile drepte ale Domnului?

and said, “You son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, full of all deceit and villainy, will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the Lord?

Most azért az Úr keze ellened fordul, vak leszel, és nem látod a napot egy ideig. Azonnal homály és sötétség szállt rá, és botorkálva keresett vezetőket.

Most azért ímé az Úrnak keze van ellened, és vak leszel és nem látod a napot egy ideig. És azonnal homály és sötétség szálla reá; és kerengve keres vala vezetőket.

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Acum, iată că mâna Domnului este împotriva ta: vei fi orb şi nu vei vedea soarele până la o vreme.” Îndată a căzut peste el ceaţă şi întuneric şi căuta bâjbâind nişte oameni care să-l ducă de mână.

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.” Immediately mist and darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking people to lead him by the hand.

A helytartó pedig, amikor látta a történteket, hitt, és elálmélkodott az Úr tanításán.

Akkor a tiszttartó, mikor látta a történt dolgot, hűn, elálmélkodván az Úrnak tudományán.

Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Atunci dregătorul, când a văzut ce se întâmplase, a crezut şi a rămas uimit de învăţătura Domnului.

Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had occurred, for he was astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

Páfoszból elhajózva Pál és kísérői a pamfiliai Pergébe mentek. János azonban elvált tőlük, és visszatért Jeruzsálembe.

Elhajózván pedig Páfusból Pál és kisérői, Pergába, Pámfiliának városába menének. János azonban elválván tőlük, megtére Jeruzsálembe.

Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

Pavel şi tovarăşii lui au pornit cu corabia din Pafos şi s-au dus la Perga în Pamfilia. Ioan s-a despărţit de ei şi s-a întors la Ierusalim.

Now Paul and his companions set sail from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia. And John left them and returned to Jerusalem,

Ők pedig Pergéből továbbmenve eljutottak a pizidiai Antiókhiába, és szombaton bementek a zsinagógába, és leültek.

Ők pedig Pergából tovább menve, eljutának Antiókhiába, Pisidiának [városába,] és bemenvén szombatnapon a zsinagógába; leülének.

But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

Din Perga şi-au urmat drumul înainte şi au ajuns la Antiohia din Pisidia. În ziua Sabatului, au intrat în sinagogă şi au şezut jos.

but they went on from Perga and came to Antioch in Pisidia. And on the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down.

A törvény és a próféták felolvasása után a zsinagóga elöljárói hozzájuk küldtek, és azt mondták: Atyánkfiai, férfiak, ha van valami buzdító szavatok a néphez, szóljatok!

És a törvénynek és a prófétáknak felolvasása után küldének a zsinagógának előljárói ő hozzájok, mondván: Atyánkfiai, férfiak, ha van valami intőbeszédetek a néphez, szóljatok.

And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

După citirea Legii şi a Prorocilor, fruntaşii sinagogii au trimis să le zică: „Fraţilor, dacă aveţi un cuvânt de îndemn pentru norod, vorbiţi.”

After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent a message to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, say it.”

Pál felállt, csendet intett kezével, és azt mondta: Izráel férfiai és ti, akik félitek az Istent, halljátok!

Pál azért felkelvén és kezével intvén, monda: Izráelnek férfiai, és ti, kik félitek az Istent, halljátok meg.

Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.

Pavel s-a sculat, a făcut semn cu mâna şi a zis: „Bărbaţi israeliţi şi voi care vă temeţi de Dumnezeu, ascultaţi!

So Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said: “Men of Israel and you who fear God, listen.

Ennek a népnek, Izráelnek Istene kiválasztotta atyáinkat, és fölemelte e népet, amikor Egyiptom földjén jövevények voltak, majd hatalmas karjával kihozta onnan őket,

Ennek a népnek, Izráelnek Istene kiválasztotta a mi atyáinkat, és e népet fölemelte, mikor Égyiptomnak földében jövevények valának, és onnét kihozá őket hatalmas karja által.

The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

Dumnezeul acestui popor, Israel, a ales pe părinţii noştri. A ridicat la cinste pe norodul acesta, în timpul şederii lui în ţara Egiptului, şi l-a scos din Egipt cu braţul Său cel puternic.

The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay in the land of Egypt, and with uplifted arm he led them out of it.

és közel negyven esztendeig türelemmel hordozta őket a pusztában.

És közel negyven esztendőnek idejéig tűrte az ő erkölcsöket a pusztában.

And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.

Timp de aproape patruzeci de ani, le-a suferit purtarea în pustiu.

And for about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness.

És miután eltörölt hét népet Kánaán földjén, örökségül adta nekik azoknak földjét.

And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.

And after destroying seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land as an inheritance.

Mintegy négyszázötven esztendő telt el, majd bírákat adott nekik egészen Sámuel prófétáig,

És azután mintegy négyszázötven esztendeig adott birákat mind Sámuel prófétáig;

And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

După aceste lucruri, le-a dat judecători, până la prorocul Samuel.

All this took about 450 years. And after that he gave them judges until Samuel the prophet.

And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

Ei au cerut atunci un împărat. Şi, timp de aproape patruzeci de ani, Dumnezeu le-a dat pe Saul, fiul lui Chis, din seminţia lui Beniamin;

Then they asked for a king, and God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.

Amikor őt elvetette, Dávidot támasztotta nekik királyul, akiről bizonyságot is tett, és azt mondta: Szívem szerint való férfit találtam, Dávidot, Isai fiát, aki teljesíti minden akaratomat.

És mikor őt elveté, támasztá nékik Dávidot királyul; kiről bizonyságot is tőn és monda: Találtam szívem szerint való férfiút, Dávidot, a Jesse fiát, ki minden akaratomat véghez viszi.

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

apoi l-a înlăturat şi le-a ridicat împărat pe David, despre care a mărturisit astfel: „Am găsit pe David, fiul lui Iese, om după inima Mea, care va împlini toate voile Mele.”

And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.’

Ígérete szerint az ő utódai közül támasztotta Isten Izráelnek a szabadítót, Jézust,

Ennek magvából támasztott Isten, ígérete szerint, Izráelnek szabadítót, Jézust;

Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

Din sămânţa lui David, Dumnezeu, după făgăduinţa Sa, a ridicat lui Israel un Mântuitor, care este Isus.

Of this man’s offspring God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, as he promised.

akinek eljövetele előtt János előre hirdette a megtérés keresztségét Izráel egész népének.

Minekutána előbb János az ő eljövetele előtt a megtérésnek keresztségét prédikálta Izráel egész népének.

When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

Before his coming, John had proclaimed a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

János küldetésének végeztével így szólt: Én nem az vagyok, akinek ti gondoltok engem, hanem íme, utánam jön az, akinek a saruját sem vagyok méltó megoldani.

És mikor be akará végezni János az ő tisztét, monda: Kinek gondoltok engem? Nem én vagyok [az], hanem ímé én utánam jő, kinek nem vagyok méltó megoldani lábainak saruját.

And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

Şi Ioan, când era la sfârşitul însărcinării lui, zicea: „Cine credeţi că sunt eu? Nu sunt Acela; ci iată că după mine vine Unul, căruia eu nu sunt vrednic să-I dezleg încălţămintea picioarelor.”

And as John was finishing his course, he said, ‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he. No, but behold, after me one is coming, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.’

Atyámfiai, férfiak, Ábrahám nemzetségének fiai, és ti jelen lévő istenfélők, ennek az üdvösségnek az üzenete nekünk küldetett!

Atyámfiai, férfiak, Ábrahám nemzetének fiai, és kik ti köztetek félik az Istent, ez idvességnek beszéde néktek küldetett.

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

Fraţilor, fii ai neamului lui Avraam, şi cei ce vă temeţi de Dumnezeu, vouă v-a fost trimis Cuvântul acestei mântuiri.

“Brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to us has been sent the message of this salvation.

De a Jeruzsálemben lakók és vezetőik nem ismerték fel őt, és azáltal, hogy elítélték, betöltötték a próféták szavait, amelyeket minden szombaton felolvasnak.

Mert a kik lakoznak Jeruzsálemben és azoknak fejei, mivelhogy őt fel nem ismerék, a prófétáknak szavait is, melyeket minden szombaton felolvasnak, ítéletükkel betöltötték.

For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

Căci locuitorii din Ierusalim şi mai marii lor n-au cunoscut pe Isus; şi, prin faptul că L-au osândit, au împlinit cuvintele Prorocilor, care se citesc în fiecare Sabat.

For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because they did not recognize him nor understand the utterances of the prophets, which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning him.

Bár semmi halálra való okot nem találtak benne, azt kérték Pilátustól, hogy ölesse meg.

And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

And though they found in him no guilt worthy of death, they asked Pilate to have him executed.

Amikor pedig mindazt véghezvitték, amik felőle megírattak, levették a fáról, és sírba helyezték.

And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.

Şi, după ce au împlinit tot ce este scris despre El, L-au dat jos de pe lemn şi L-au pus într-un mormânt.

And when they had carried out all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb.

De Isten feltámasztotta őt a halálból,

But God raised him from the dead:

és több napon át megjelent azoknak, akik együtt jöttek fel vele Galileából Jeruzsálembe, és akik most az ő tanúi a nép előtt.

And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

and for many days he appeared to those who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.

Mi is hirdetjük nektek az örömhírt: Isten beteljesítette nekünk, az ő gyermekeinek, az atyáknak tett ígéretet, amikor feltámasztotta Jézust,

És mi hirdetjük néktek az atyáknak tett ígéretet, hogy azt az Isten betöltötte nékünk, az ő fiaiknak feltámasztván Jézust:

And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

Şi noi vă aducem vestea aceasta bună că făgăduinţa făcută părinţilor noştri,

And we bring you the good news that what God promised to the fathers,

God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm, “‘You are my Son, today I have begotten you.’

Azt pedig, hogy feltámasztotta őt a halálból, úgy, hogy többé nem tér vissza az elmúlásba, így mondta: Nektek adom a Dávidnak tett biztos, szent ígéreteket.

Hogy pedig feltámasztotta őt halottaiból, úgy hogy nem is fog többé az enyészetbe visszatérni, azt így mondotta: Néktek adom a Dávid biztos szent [javait.]

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

Că L-a înviat din morţi, aşa că nu Se va mai întoarce în putrezire, a spus-o când a zis: „Vă voi împlini, cu toată credincioşia, făgăduinţele sfinte pe care le-am făcut lui David.”

And as for the fact that he raised him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he has spoken in this way, “‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.’

Azért mondja máshol is: Nem engeded, hogy a te Szented elmúlást lásson.

Azért mondja másutt is: Nem engeded, hogy a te Szented rothadást lásson.

Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

De aceea mai zice şi în alt Psalm: „Nu vei îngădui ca sfântul Tău să vadă putrezirea.”

Therefore he says also in another psalm, “‘You will not let your Holy One see corruption.’

Mert Dávid, miután a maga idejében Isten akarata szerint szolgált, meghalt, atyái mellé temették, és elmúlást látott.

Mert Dávid, minekutána a saját idejében szolgált az Isten akaratának, elaludt, és helyhezteték az ő atyáihoz, és rothadást látott.

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep and was laid with his fathers and saw corruption,

De akit Isten feltámasztott, az nem látott elmúlást.

De a kit Isten feltámasztott, az nem látott rothadást.

But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

Dar Acela, pe care L-a înviat Dumnezeu, n-a văzut putrezirea.

but he whom God raised up did not see corruption.

Azért legyen nektek tudtotokra, atyámfiai, férfiak, hogy általa a bűnök bocsánatát hirdetjük nektek.

Azért legyen néktek tudtotokra, atyámfiai, férfiak, hogy ez által hirdettetik néktek a bűnöknek bocsánata:

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

És mindabból, amiből Mózes törvénye által nem igazulhattatok meg, őáltala mindenki megigazul, aki hisz.

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

şi oricine crede este iertat prin El de toate lucrurile de care n-aţi putut fi iertaţi prin Legea lui Moise.

and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.

Vigyázzatok azért, hogy be ne következzék rajtatok, amit a próféták mondtak:

Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

Lássátok meg, ti gúnyolódók, csodálkozzatok és semmisüljetek meg, mert én olyat teszek a ti időtökben, amit el se hinnétek, ha valaki mondaná nektek!

Lássátok meg, ti megvetők, és csodálkozzatok és semmisüljetek meg; mert én [oly] dolgot cselekszem a ti időtökben, [oly] dolgot, melyet nem hinnétek, ha valaki elmondaná néktek.

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

„Uitaţi-vă, dispreţuitorilor, miraţi-vă şi pieriţi; căci în zilele voastre, am să fac o lucrare pe care n-o veţi crede nicidecum dacă v-ar istorisi-o cineva.”

“‘Look, you scoffers, be astounded and perish; for I am doing a work in your days, a work that you will not believe, even if one tells it to you.’”

Amikor kimentek, arra kérték őket, hogy a következő szombaton is hirdessék nekik ezeket a beszédeket.

Mikor pedig kimentek a zsidók zsinagógájából, kérék a pogányok, hogy a következő szombaton prédikálják nékik ezen beszédeket.

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Când au ieşit afară, Neamurile i-au rugat să le vorbească şi în Sabatul viitor despre aceleaşi lucruri.

As they went out, the people begged that these things might be told them the next Sabbath.

Miután szétoszlott a gyülekezet, a zsidók és az istenfélő prozeliták közül sokan követték Pált és Barnabást, akik velük beszélgetve arra biztatták őket, hogy maradjanak meg Isten kegyelmében.

Mikor pedig eloszlott a gyülekezet, sokan a zsidók közül és az istenfélő prozelitusok közül követék Pált és Barnabást; a kik szólván hozzájuk, biztaták őket, hogy maradjanak meg az Isten kegyelmében.

Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Şi, după ce s-a împrăştiat adunarea, mulţi din iudei şi din prozeliţii evlavioşi au mers după Pavel şi Barnaba, care stăteau de vorbă cu ei şi-i îndemnau să stăruie în harul lui Dumnezeu.

And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Amikor pedig a zsidók látták a sokaságot, beteltek irigységgel, és gyalázkodva ellene mondtak annak, amiket Pál hirdetett.

Mikor pedig látták a zsidók a sokaságot, betelének irigységgel, és ellene mondának azoknak, miket Pál mond vala, ellenkezve és káromlást szólva.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Iudeii, când au văzut noroadele, s-au umplut de pizmă, vorbeau împotriva celor spuse de Pavel şi-l batjocoreau.

But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began to contradict what was spoken by Paul, reviling him.

Ekkor Pál és Barnabás bátran ezt mondták: Először nektek kellett hirdetnünk Isten igéjét, de mivel ti megvetitek azt, és nem tartjátok magatokat méltónak az örök életre, íme, a pogányokhoz fordulunk.

Akkor Pál és Barnabás nagy bátorsággal szólva mondának: Szükséges volt, hogy először néktek hirdettessék az Isten ígéje; de mivelhogy ti megvetitek azt, és nem tartjátok méltóknak magatokat az örök életre, ímé a pogányokhoz fordulunk.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Dar Pavel şi Barnaba le-au zis cu îndrăzneală: „Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu trebuia vestit mai întâi vouă; dar fiindcă voi nu-l primiţi şi singuri vă judecaţi nevrednici de viaţa veşnică, iată că ne întoarcem spre Neamuri.

And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.

Mert így parancsolta nekünk az Úr: Világosságul rendeltelek téged a pogányoknak, hogy üdvösségükre légy a föld legvégső határáig.

Mert így parancsolta nékünk az Úr: Rendeltelek téged világosságul a pogányoknak, hogy légy üdvösségükre a földnek széléig.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

Căci aşa ne-a poruncit Domnul: „Te-am pus ca să fii Lumina Neamurilor, ca să duci mântuirea până la marginile pământului.”

For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

A pogányok pedig ezeket hallva örvendeztek, és magasztalták az Úr igéjét, és akik csak örök életre választattak, hittek.

A pogányok pedig ezeket hallván, örvendezének, és magasztalják vala az Úrnak ígéjét; és a kik csak örök életre választattak vala, hivének.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Neamurile se bucurau când au auzit lucrul acesta şi preamăreau Cuvântul Domnului. Şi toţi cei ce erau rânduiţi să capete viaţa veşnică au crezut.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

Az Úr igéje pedig az egész tartományban elterjedt.

Terjede pedig az Úrnak ígéje az egész tartományban.

And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

Cuvântul Domnului se răspândea în toată ţara.

And the word of the Lord was spreading throughout the whole region.

A zsidók azonban felingerelték ellenük a tekintélyesebb istenfélő asszonyokat és a város előkelőit, és üldözést támasztottak Pál és Barnabás ellen, és kiűzték őket a határukból.

A zsidók azonban felindíták az istenfélő és tisztességbeli asszonyokat és a városnak eleit, és üldözést támasztának Pál és Barnabás ellen, és kiűzék őket határukból.

But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

Dar iudeii au întărâtat pe femeile cucernice cu vază şi pe fruntaşii cetăţii, au stârnit o prigonire împotriva lui Pavel şi Barnaba şi i-au izgonit din hotarele lor.

But the Jews incited the devout women of high standing and the leading men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.

But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.
