And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.

Majd lángnyelvhez hasonlók jelentek meg előttük, amelyek elkülönültek, és mindegyikükre leszálltak.

És megjelentek előttük kettős tüzes nyelvek és üle mindenikre azok közül.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.

Ők pedig mindnyájan megteltek Szentlélekkel, és különféle nyelveken kezdtek beszélni, amint a Lélek adta nekik, hogy szóljanak.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven.

Amikor ez a zúgás támadt, az összegyűlt sokaság megzavarodott, mert mindegyik a maga nyelvén hallotta őket szólni.

Minekutána pedig ez a zúgás lőn, egybegyűle a sokaság és megzavarodék, mivelhogy mindegyik a maga nyelvén hallá őket szólni.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Când s-a auzit sunetul acela, mulţimea s-a adunat şi a rămas încremenită; pentru că fiecare îi auzea vorbind în limba lui.

And at this sound the multitude came together, and they were bewildered, because each one was hearing them speak in his own language.

Álmélkodtak, és csodálkozva mondták egymásnak: Nemde valamennyien galileaiak ezek, akik beszélnek?

Álmélkodnak pedig mindnyájan és csodálkoznak vala, mondván egymásnak: Nemde nem Galileusok-é ezek mindnyájan, a kik szólnak?

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Toţi se mirau, se minunau şi ziceau unii către alţii: „Toţi aceştia care vorbesc nu sunt galileeni?

And they were amazed and astonished, saying, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

Akkor hogyan hallhatja őket mindegyikünk a maga anyanyelvén?

Mimódon halljuk hát [őket,] kiki közülünk a saját nyelvén, a melyben születtünk?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Cum, dar, îi auzim vorbind fiecăruia din noi în limba noastră, în care ne-am născut?

And how is it that we hear, each of us in his own native language?

mind zsidók, mind prozeliták, krétaiak és arabok, halljuk, amint a mi nyelvünkön beszélnek Isten felséges dolgairól.

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

cretani şi arabi, îi auzim vorbind în limbile noastre lucrurile minunate ale lui Dumnezeu!”

both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians—we hear them telling in our own tongues the mighty works of God.”

Mindenki álmélkodott, és zavarban volt, egymást kérdezgették: Vajon mi akar ez lenni?

Álmélkodnak vala pedig mindnyájan és zavarban valának, egymásnak ezt mondván: Vajjon mi akar ez lennie?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Toţi erau uimiţi, nu ştiau ce să creadă şi ziceau unii către alţii: „Ce vrea să zică aceasta?”

And all were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

But others mocking said, “They are filled with new wine.”

Péter azonban előállt a tizeneggyel, felemelte hangját, és így szólt hozzájuk: Zsidó férfiak és ti mindnyájan, jeruzsálemi lakosok! Hallgassatok meg, és vegyétek tudomásul,

Péter azonban előállván a tizenegygyel, felemelé szavát, és szóla nékik: Zsidó férfiak és mindnyájan, kik lakoztok Jeruzsálemben, legyen ez néktek tudtotokra, és vegyétek füleitekbe az én beszédimet!

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Atunci Petru s-a sculat în picioare, cu cei unsprezece, a ridicat glasul şi le-a zis: „Bărbaţi iudei şi voi toţi cei care locuiţi în Ierusalim, să ştiţi lucrul acesta şi ascultaţi cuvintele mele!

But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words.

hogy nem részegek ezek, amint ti állítjátok, hiszen a napnak harmadik órája van,

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Oamenii aceştia nu sunt beţi, cum vă închipuiţi voi, căci nu este decât al treilea ceas din zi.

For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day.

És az utolsó napokban – ezt mondja Isten – kitöltök Lelkemből mindenkire, és prófétálnak fiaitok és leányaitok, és ifjaitok látomást látnak, véneitek pedig álmokat álmodnak.

És lészen az utolsó napokban, ezt mondja az Isten, kitöltök az én Lelkemből minden testre: és prófétálnak a ti fiaitok és leányaitok, és a ti ifjaitok látásokat látnak, és a ti véneitek álmokat álmodnak.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

„În zilele de pe urmă, zice Dumnezeu, voi turna din Duhul Meu peste orice făptură; feciorii voştri şi fetele voastre vor proroci, tinerii voştri vor avea vedenii, şi bătrânii voştri vor visa vise!

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

Még szolgáimra és szolgálóleányaimra is kitöltök azokban a napokban Lelkemből, és prófétálnak.

És épen az én szolgáimra és az én szolgálóleányaimra is kitöltök azokban a napokban az én Lelkemből, és prófétálnak.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Da, chiar şi peste robii Mei şi peste roabele Mele voi turna, în zilele acelea, din Duhul Meu şi vor proroci.

even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

És csodákat teszek az égben odafenn, és jeleket a földön idelenn, vért, tüzet és füstfellegeket.

És tészek csudákat az égben odafenn, és jeleket a földön idelenn, vért, tüzet és füstnek gőzölgését.

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Voi face să se arate semne sus în cer şi minuni jos pe pământ, sânge, foc şi un vârtej de fum;

And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;

A nap sötétséggé változik, és a hold vérré, mielőtt eljön az Úr nagy és fenséges napja.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

soarele se va preface în întuneric, şi luna în sânge, înainte ca să vină ziua Domnului, ziua aceea mare şi strălucită.

the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.

De mindaz, aki az Úr nevét segítségül hívja, üdvözül.

És lészen, hogy mindaz, a ki az Úrnak nevét segítségül hívja, megtartatik.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Atunci oricine va chema Numele Domnului va fi mântuit.”

And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’

Izraelita férfiak, halljátok meg ezt a beszédet: A názáreti Jézust, azt a férfit, aki erők, csodatételek és jelek által bizonyságot nyert előttetek Istentől, amelyeket Isten általa vitt véghez köztetek – amint magatok is tudjátok –,

Izráelita férfiak, halljátok meg e beszédeket: A názáreti Jézust, azt a férfiút, a ki Istentől bizonyságot nyert előttetek erők, csudatételek és jelek által, melyeket ő általa cselekedett Isten ti köztetek, a mint magatok is tudjátok.

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Bărbaţi israeliţi, ascultaţi cuvintele acestea! Pe Isus din Nazaret, Om adeverit de Dumnezeu înaintea voastră prin minunile, semnele şi lucrările pline de putere pe care le-a făcut Dumnezeu prin El în mijlocul vostru, după cum bine ştiţi;

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—

azt, aki Isten elvégzett tanácsa és terve szerint nektek adatott, gonosz kezek segítségével keresztfára szegezve megöltétek.

Azt, a ki Istennek elvégezett tanácsából és rendeléséből adatott [halálra,] megragadván, gonosz kezeitekkel keresztfára feszítve megölétek:

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

pe Omul acesta, dat în mâinile voastre, după sfatul hotărât şi după ştiinţa mai dinainte a lui Dumnezeu, voi L-aţi răstignit şi L-aţi omorât prin mâna celor fărădelege.

this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men.

De a halál fájdalmait feloldva Isten feltámasztotta, mivel lehetetlen volt, hogy a halál őt fogva tartsa.

Kit az Isten feltámasztott, a halál fájdalmait megoldván; mivelhogy lehetetlen volt néki attól fogvatartatnia.

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Dar Dumnezeu L-a înviat, dezlegându-I legăturile morţii, pentru că nu era cu putinţă să fie ţinut de ea.

God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.

Mert Dávid ezt mondja róla: Mindig magam előtt láttam az Urat, mert ő jobb kezem felől van, hogy meg ne tántorodjam.

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

For David says concerning him, “‘I saw the Lord always before me, for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken;

Azért örvendezett a szívem, és ujjongott a nyelvem, még a testem is reménységben nyugszik majd.

Annakokáért örvendezett az én szívem, és vígadott az én nyelvem; annakfelette az én testem is reménységben nyugszik.

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

De aceea, mi se bucură inima şi mi se înveseleşte limba; chiar şi trupul mi se va odihni în nădejde:

therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; my flesh also will dwell in hope.

Mert nem hagyod lelkemet a sírban, és nem engeded, hogy a te szented rothadást lásson.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

căci nu-mi vei lăsa sufletul în Locuinţa morţilor şi nu vei îngădui ca sfântul Tău să vadă putrezirea.

For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, or let your Holy One see corruption.

Megismertetted velem az élet útjait, örömmel töltesz el színed előtt.

Megjelentetted nékem az életnek útait; betöltesz engem örömmel a te orczád előtt.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

Mi-ai făcut cunoscut căile vieţii şi Mă vei umple de bucurie cu starea Ta de faţă.”

You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

Atyámfiai, férfiak, nyíltan beszélhetek nektek Dávid ősatyáról, hogy ő meghalt és eltemettetett, és sírja mind e mai napig köztünk van.

Atyámfiai férfiak, szabad nyilván szólanom ti előttetek Dávid pátriárkáról, hogy ő megholt és eltemettetett, és az ő sírja mind e mai napig minálunk van.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

Cât despre patriarhul David, să-mi fie îngăduit, fraţilor, să vă spun fără sfială că a murit şi a fost îngropat; şi mormântul lui este în mijlocul nostru până în ziua de azi.

“Brothers, I may say to you with confidence about the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

De mivel ő próféta volt, és tudta, hogy Isten esküvéssel megesküdött neki, hogy utódai közül ültet valakit trónjára,

Próféta lévén azért, és tudván, hogy az Isten néki esküvéssel megesküdött, hogy majd az ő ágyékának gyümölcséből támasztja a Krisztust test szerint, hogy helyheztesse az ő királyi székibe,

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Fiindcă David era proroc şi ştia că Dumnezeu îi făgăduise cu jurământ că va ridica pe unul din urmaşii săi pe scaunul lui de domnie,

Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne,

a bekövetkezendőt előre látva szólt Krisztus feltámadásáról, hogy nem marad a sírban, s teste sem lát rothadást.

Előre látván [ezt,] szólott a Krisztus feltámadásáról, hogy az ő lelke nem hagyatott a sírban, sem az ő teste rothadást nem látott.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

despre învierea lui Hristos a prorocit şi a vorbit el, când a zis că sufletul Lui nu va fi lăsat în Locuinţa morţilor şi trupul Lui nu va vedea putrezirea.

he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption.

Ezt a Jézust Isten feltámasztotta, s ennek mi mindnyájan tanúi vagyunk.

Ezt a Jézust feltámasztotta az Isten, minek mi mindnyájan tanúbizonyságai vagyunk.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Dumnezeu a înviat pe acest Isus, şi noi toţi suntem martori ai Lui.

This Jesus God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses.

Miután tehát az Isten jobbjára felemeltetett, és megkapta az Atyától megígért Szentlelket, kitöltötte azt, amint most látjátok és halljátok is.

Annakokáért az Istennek jobbja által felmagasztaltatván, és a megígért Szent Lelket megnyervén az Atyától, kitöltötte ezt, a mit ti most láttok és hallotok.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Şi acum, odată ce S-a înălţat prin dreapta lui Dumnezeu şi a primit de la Tatăl făgăduinţa Duhului Sfânt, a turnat ce vedeţi şi auziţi.

Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

Mert nem Dávid ment fel a mennybe, hiszen ő maga mondja: Azt mondta az Úr az én Uramnak: Ülj az én jobb kezem felől,

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says, “‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand,

amíg ellenségeidet lábad alá teszem zsámolyul.

Míglen vetem a te ellenségeidet lábaid alá zsámolyul.

Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

până ce voi pune pe vrăjmaşii Tăi sub picioarele Tale.”

until I make your enemies your footstool.”’

Bizonyosan tudja meg azért Izráel egész háza, hogy Úrrá és Krisztussá tette őt Isten, azt a Jézust, akit ti keresztre feszítettetek.

Bizonynyal tudja meg azért Izráelnek egész háza, hogy Úrrá és Krisztussá tette őt az Isten, azt a Jézust, a kit ti megfeszítettetek.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Să ştie bine, dar, toată casa lui Israel, că Dumnezeu a făcut Domn şi Hristos pe acest Isus pe care L-aţi răstignit voi.”

Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Amit hallottak, szíven találta őket, és azt kérdezték Pétertől és a többi apostoltól: Mit cselekedjünk, atyámfiai, férfiak?

[Ezeket] pedig mikor hallották, szívökben megkeseredének, és mondának Péternek és a többi apostoloknak: Mit cselekedjünk, atyámfiai, férfiak?

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

După ce au auzit aceste cuvinte, ei au rămas străpunşi în inimă şi au zis lui Petru şi celorlalţi apostoli: „Fraţilor, ce să facem?”

Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Péter pedig azt mondta nekik: Térjetek meg és keresztelkedjetek meg mindnyájan Jézus Krisztus nevében bűneitek bocsánatára, és megkapjátok a Szentlélek ajándékát.

Péter pedig monda nékik: Térjetek meg és keresztelkedjetek meg mindnyájan a Jézus Krisztusnak nevében a bűnöknek bocsánatjára; és veszitek a Szent Lélek ajándékát.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

„Pocăiţi-vă”, le-a zis Petru, „şi fiecare din voi să fie botezat în Numele lui Isus Hristos, spre iertarea păcatelor voastre; apoi veţi primi darul Sfântului Duh.

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Mert nektek szól az ígéret és gyermekeiteknek és mindazoknak, akik távol vannak ugyan, de akiket elhívott az Úr, a mi Istenünk.

Mert néktek lett az ígéret és a ti gyermekeiteknek, és mindazoknak, kik messze vannak, valakiket csak elhív magának az Úr, a mi Istenünk.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

Căci făgăduinţa aceasta este pentru voi, pentru copiii voştri şi pentru toţi cei ce sunt departe acum, în oricât de mare număr îi va chema Domnul Dumnezeul nostru.”

For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

Sok más beszéddel is intette és így kérlelte őket: Szabaduljatok meg ettől a gonosz nemzedéktől!

Sok egyéb beszéddel is buzgón kéri és inti vala őket, mondván: Szakaszszátok el magatokat e gonosz nemzetségtől!

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Şi, cu multe alte cuvinte, mărturisea, îi îndemna şi zicea: „Mântuiţi-vă din mijlocul acestui neam ticălos.”

And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

És állhatatosan kitartottak az apostolok tudományában és a közösségben, a kenyér megtörésében és az imádkozásban.

És foglalatosok valának az apostolok tudományában és a közösségben, a kenyérnek megtörésében és a könyörgésekben.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Mindennap kitartóan, egy szívvel-lélekkel összegyűltek a templomban, és házanként megtörték a kenyeret, örömmel és tiszta szívvel részesedve az eledelben,

És minden nap egyakarattal kitartva a templomban, és megtörve házanként a kenyeret, részesednek vala eledelben örömmel és tiszta szívvel.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Toţi împreună erau nelipsiţi de la Templu în fiecare zi, frângeau pâinea acasă şi luau hrana cu bucurie şi curăţie de inimă.

And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,
