A zavargás megszűntével Pál magához hívta a tanítványokat, bátorította őket, majd elbúcsúzott tőlük, és elindult, hogy Macedóniába menjen.

Minekutána pedig megszűnt a háborúság, magához híván Pál a tanítványokat és tőlük búcsút vévén, elindula, hogy Maczedóniába menjen.

And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.

After the uproar ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging them, he said farewell and departed for Macedonia.

And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,

Három hónapot töltött ott, de ahogy hajóra készült szállni Szíria felé, a zsidók merényletet terveztek ellene, ezért úgy döntött, hogy Macedónián át tér vissza.

És ott töltött három hónapot. És mivelhogy a zsidók lest hánytak néki, a mint Siriába készült hajózni, úgy végezé, hogy Maczedónián át tér vissza.

And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.

unde a rămas trei luni. Era gata să plece cu corabia în Siria, dar iudeii i-au întins curse. Atunci s-a hotărât să se întoarcă prin Macedonia.

There he spent three months, and when a plot was made against him by the Jews as he was about to set sail for Syria, he decided to return through Macedonia.

And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

Avea ca tovarăşi până în Asia pe: Sopater din Bereea, fiul lui Pir, Aristarh şi Secund din Tesalonic, Gaiu din Derbe, Timotei, precum şi Tihic şi Trofim, care erau din Asia.

Sopater the Berean, son of Pyrrhus, accompanied him; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy; and the Asians, Tychicus and Trophimus.

Ezek előrementek, és Tróászban vártak ránk.

These going before tarried for us at Troas.

These went on ahead and were waiting for us at Troas,

And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

Iar noi, după zilele praznicului Azimelor, am plecat cu corabia din Filipi şi, în cinci zile, am ajuns la ei în Troa, unde am stat şapte zile.

but we sailed away from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days we came to them at Troas, where we stayed for seven days.

A hét első napján, amikor összegyűltünk a kenyér megtörésére, Pál prédikált nekik, és mivel másnap el akart menni, a tanítást megnyújtotta éjfélig.

A hétnek első napján pedig a tanítványok egybegyűlvén a kenyér megszegésére, Pál prédikál vala nékik, mivelhogy másnap el akara menni; és a tanítást megnyújtá éjfélig.

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

În ziua dintâi a săptămânii, eram adunaţi laolaltă ca să frângem pâinea. Pavel, care trebuia să plece a doua zi, vorbea ucenicilor şi şi-a lungit vorbirea până la miezul nopţii.

On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.

Elég sok lámpás volt abban a felső szobában, ahol összegyűltünk.

And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

În odaia de sus, unde eram adunaţi, erau multe lumini.

There were many lamps in the upper room where we were gathered.

Egy Eutikhosz nevű ifjú pedig, aki az ablakban ült, mély álomba merült, és mivel Pál sokáig prédikált, az álom úgy elnyomta, hogy leesett a harmadik emeletről, és holtan szedték föl.

Egy Eutikhus nevű ifjú pedig ül vala az ablakban, mély álomba merülve: és mivelhogy Pál sok ideig prédikála, elnyomatván az álom által, aláesék a harmadik rend házból, és halva véteték föl.

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

Şi un tânăr, numit Eutih, care şedea pe fereastră, a adormit de-a binelea în timpul lungii vorbiri a lui Pavel; biruit de somn, a căzut jos din catul al treilea şi a fost ridicat mort.

And a young man named Eutychus, sitting at the window, sank into a deep sleep as Paul talked still longer. And being overcome by sleep, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead.

Pál pedig lement, ráhajolt, magához ölelte, majd azt mondta: Ne nyugtalankodjatok, mert a lelke benne van.

Pál pedig alámenvén, reá borula, és magához ölelve monda: Ne háborogjatok; mert a lelke benne van.

And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

Dar Pavel s-a coborât, s-a repezit spre el, l-a luat în braţe şi a zis: „Nu vă tulburaţi, căci sufletul lui este în el.”

But Paul went down and bent over him, and taking him in his arms, said, “Do not be alarmed, for his life is in him.”

Azután fölment, megtörte a kenyeret, és evett, majd sokáig, egészen virradatig beszélgetett velük, és akkor indult el.

Azután fölméne, és megszegé a kenyeret és evék, és sokáig, mind virradatig beszélgetvén, úgy indula el.

When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

După ce s-a suit iarăşi, a frânt pâinea, a cinat şi a mai vorbit multă vreme până la ziuă. Apoi a plecat.

And when Paul had gone up and had broken bread and eaten, he conversed with them a long while, until daybreak, and so departed.

And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

Mi pedig előrementünk, és hajóra szállva Asszoszba utaztunk, ott akartuk fölvenni Pált, mert így rendelkezett, ő ugyanis gyalog akart jönni.

Mi pedig előremenvén a hajóra, Assusba evezénk, ott akarván fölvenni Pált; mert így rendelkezett, ő maga gyalog akarván jőni.

And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.

Noi am venit înaintea lui Pavel la corabie şi am plecat cu corabia la Asos, unde ne învoiserăm să ne întâlnim din nou; pentru că el trebuia să facă drumul pe jos.

But going ahead to the ship, we set sail for Assos, intending to take Paul aboard there, for so he had arranged, intending himself to go by land.

And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.

Când s-a întâlnit cu noi în Asos, l-am luat în corabie şi ne-am dus la Mitilene.

And when he met us at Assos, we took him on board and went to Mitylene.

Onnan elhajózva másnap Khiosz elé jutottunk, azt követően pedig behajóztunk Számoszba, majd a rá következő nap megérkeztünk Milétoszba.

És onnét elevezvén, másnap eljutánk Khius ellenébe; a következőn pedig áthajózánk Sámusba; és Trogilliumban megszállván, másnap mentünk Milétusba.

And we sailed thence, and came the next day over against Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.

De aici am mers pe mare, şi a doua zi am ajuns în faţa insulei Chios. În ziua următoare, de-abia am atins Samos, ne-am oprit în Troghilion, şi a doua zi am venit la Milet.

And sailing from there we came the following day opposite Chios; the next day we touched at Samos; and the day after that we went to Miletus.

Mert Pál úgy döntött, hogy Efezus mellett elhajózik, hogy ne veszítsen időt Ázsiában. Sietett, hogy pünkösd napjára lehetőleg már Jeruzsálemben legyen.

Mert elvégezé Pál, hogy Efézus mellett elhajózik, hogy ne kelljen néki időt múlatni Ázsiában; mert siet vala, hogy ha lehetne néki, pünkösd napjára Jeruzsálemben legyen.

For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

Pavel se hotărâse să treacă pe lângă Efes, fără să se oprească aici, ca să nu piardă vremea în Asia; căci se grăbea ca, dacă-i va fi cu putinţă, să fie în Ierusalim de ziua Cincizecimii.

For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might not have to spend time in Asia, for he was hastening to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost.

And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

Now from Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called the elders of the church to come to him.

Amikor azok megérkeztek hozzá, azt mondta nekik: Ti tudjátok, hogy Ázsiába jövetelem első napjától fogva miként éltem köztetek az egész idő alatt.

Mikor pedig hozzá mentek, monda nékik: Ti tudjátok, hogy az első naptól fogva, melyen Ázsiába jöttem, mint viseltem magamat ti köztetek az egész idő alatt,

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

Când au venit la el, le-a zis: „Ştiţi cum m-am purtat cu voi în toată vremea, din ziua dintâi în care am pus piciorul pe pământul Asiei.

And when they came to him, he said to them: “You yourselves know how I lived among you the whole time from the first day that I set foot in Asia,

Az Úrnak szolgáltam teljes alázatossággal, sok könnyhullatás és megpróbáltatás között, amelyek a zsidók cselszövései miatt estek rajtam.

Szolgálván az Úrnak teljes alázatossággal és sok könnyhullatás és kisértetek közt, melyek én rajtam a zsidóknak utánam való leselkedése miatt estek;

Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

Am slujit Domnului cu toată smerenia, cu multe lacrimi şi în mijlocul încercărilor pe care mi le ridicau uneltirile iudeilor.

serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews;

Egyáltalán nem riadtam vissza attól, hogy hirdessem nektek azt, ami hasznos, és nyilvánosan és házanként tanítsalak titeket.

Hogy semmitől sem vonogattam magamat, a mi hasznos, hogy hirdessem néktek, és tanítsalak titeket nyilvánosan és házanként,

And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

Ştiţi că n-am ascuns nimic din ce vă era de folos şi nu m-am temut să vă propovăduiesc şi să vă învăţ înaintea norodului şi în case

how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house,

Mind zsidóknak, mind görögöknek bizonyságot tettem az Istenhez való megtérésről és a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusban való hitről.

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Most azért a Lélektől kényszerítve megyek Jeruzsálembe, és nem tudom, hogy ott mi vár rám.

És most ímé én a Lélektől kényszerítve megyek Jeruzsálembe, nem tudván, mik következnek ott én reám.

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

Şi acum, iată că, împins de Duhul, mă duc la Ierusalim, fără să ştiu ce mi se va întâmpla acolo.

And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there,

Csak azt tudom, hogy a Szentlélek városonként bizonyságot tesz, hogy bilincsek és szorongattatások várnak rám.

Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me.

De semmivel sem gondolok, még az életem sem drága nekem, csak hogy elvégezhessem futásomat és azt a szolgálatot, amelyet az Úr Jézustól kaptam, hogy bizonyságot tegyek az Isten kegyelmének evangéliumáról.

De semmivel sem gondolok, még az én életem sem drága nékem, csakhogy elvégezhessem az én futásomat örömmel, és azt a szolgálatot, melyet vettem az Úr Jézustól, hogy bizonyságot tegyek az Isten kegyelmének evangyéliomáról.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Dar eu nu ţin numaidecât la viaţa mea, ca şi cum mi-ar fi scumpă, ci vreau numai să-mi sfârşesc cu bucurie calea şi slujba pe care am primit-o de la Domnul Isus, ca să vestesc Evanghelia harului lui Dumnezeu.

But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

És most tudom, hogy közületek, akik között az Isten országát hirdetve jártam, többé senki sem látja az arcomat.

És most íme én tudom, hogy nem látjátok többé az én orczámat ti mindnyájan, kik között általmentem, prédikálván az Istennek országát.

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

Şi acum, ştiu că nu-mi veţi mai vedea faţa, voi toţi aceia în mijlocul cărora am umblat propovăduind Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu.

And now, behold, I know that none of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again.

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

Mert nem vonakodtam attól, hogy az Isten teljes akaratát hirdessem nektek.

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Căci nu m-am ferit să vă vestesc tot planul lui Dumnezeu.

for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

Viseljetek gondot magatokra és az egész nyájra, amelyben a Szentlélek felvigyázóvá tett titeket, hogy legeltessétek az Isten egyházát, amelyet tulajdon vérével szerzett.

Viseljetek gondot azért magatokra és az egész nyájra, melyben a Szent Lélek titeket vigyázókká tett, az Isten anyaszentegyházának legeltetésére, melyet tulajdon vérével szerzett.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Luaţi seama, dar, la voi înşivă şi la toată turma peste care v-a pus Duhul Sfânt episcopi, ca să păstoriţi Biserica Domnului, pe care a câştigat-o cu însuşi sângele Său.

Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

Tudom, hogy távozásom után ragadozó farkasok jönnek közétek, akik nem kímélik a nyájat.

Mert én tudom azt, hogy az én eltávozásom után jőnek ti közétek gonosz farkasok, kik nem kedveznek a nyájnak.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Ştiu bine că, după plecarea mea, se vor vârî între voi lupi răpitori, care nu vor cruţa turma;

I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;

Sőt közületek is támadnak férfiak, akik fonák dolgokat beszélnek, hogy maguk után vonják a tanítványokat.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

şi se vor scula din mijlocul vostru oameni care vor învăţa lucruri stricăcioase, ca să tragă pe ucenici de partea lor.

and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.

Azért vigyázzatok, emlékezzetek arra, hogy én három évig nem szűntem meg éjjel és nappal könnyek között inteni mindenkit.

Azért vigyázzatok, megemlékezvén arról, hogy én három esztendeig éjjel és nappal meg nem szüntem könnyhullatással inteni mindenkit.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

De aceea vegheaţi şi aduceţi-vă aminte că, timp de trei ani, zi şi noapte, n-am încetat să sfătuiesc cu lacrimi pe fiecare din voi.

Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears.

Most pedig, testvéreim, az Istennek és kegyelme igéjének ajánllak titeket, aki gyarapíthat, és örökséget adhat nektek minden megszentelt között.

És most, atyámfiai, ajánlak titeket az Istennek és az ő kegyelmessége ígéjének, a ki felépíthet és adhat néktek örökséget minden megszenteltek közt.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Şi acum, fraţilor, vă încredinţez în mâna lui Dumnezeu şi a Cuvântului harului Său care vă poate zidi sufleteşte şi vă poate da moştenirea împreună cu toţi cei sfinţiţi.

And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Senkinek az ezüstjét, aranyát vagy ruháját nem kívántam,

I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.

N-am râvnit nici la argintul, nici la aurul, nici la hainele cuiva.

sőt magatok tudjátok, hogy amire szükségem volt nekem és a velem levőknek, arról ezek a kezek gondoskodtak.

Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

Singuri ştiţi că mâinile acestea au lucrat pentru trebuinţele mele şi ale celor ce erau cu mine.

You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and to those who were with me.

Minden tekintetben megmutattam nektek, hogy ily módon fáradozva kell az erőtlenekről gondot viselni és megemlékezni az Úr Jézus szavairól, mert ő azt mondta: Jobb adni, mint kapni.

Mindenestől megmutattam néktek, hogy ily módon munkálkodva kell az erőtlenekről gondot viselni, és megemlékezni az Úr Jézus szavairól, mert ő mondá: Jobb adni, mint venni.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

În toate privinţele v-am dat o pildă şi v-am arătat că, lucrând astfel, trebuie să ajutaţi pe cei slabi şi să vă aduceţi aminte de cuvintele Domnului Isus, care însuşi a zis: „Este mai ferice să dai decât să primeşti.”

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Miután ezeket elmondta, térdre borulva együtt imádkozott velük.

És mikor ezeket mondotta, térdre esve imádkozék mindazokkal egybe.

And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

Akkor mindnyájan nagy sírásra fakadtak, Pál nyakába borultak, és megcsókolták őt.

And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,

And there was much weeping on the part of all; they embraced Paul and kissed him,

Különösen azon a szaván keseregtek, hogy nem fogják többé arcát viszontlátni. Azután elkísérték a hajóhoz.

Keseregve kiváltképen azon a szaván, a melyet mondott, hogy többé az ő orczáját nem fogják látni. Aztán elkísérték őt a hajóra.

Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.

Căci erau întristaţi mai ales de vorba pe care le-o spusese el, că nu-i vor mai vedea faţa. Şi l-au petrecut până la corabie.

being sorrowful most of all because of the word he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And they accompanied him to the ship.
