Az apostolok és a Júdeában levő testvérek is meghallották, hogy a pogányok is befogadták Isten beszédét.

Meghallák azonban az apostolok és a Júdeában levő atyafiak, hogy a pogányok is bevették az Istennek beszédét.

And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

Apostolii şi fraţii care erau în Iudeea, au auzit că şi Neamurile au primit Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu.

Now the apostles and the brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.

Amikor felment Péter Jeruzsálembe, vitatkoztak vele a zsidóságból valók,

Mikor azért felment Péter Jeruzsálembe, vetekedének ő vele a zsidóságból valók,

And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

Şi, când s-a suit Petru la Ierusalim, îl mustrau cei tăiaţi împrejur

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcision party criticized him, saying,

Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

şi ziceau: „Ai intrat în casă la nişte oameni netăiaţi împrejur şi ai mâncat cu ei.”

“You went to uncircumcised men and ate with them.”

Péter pedig elkezdte sorban megmagyarázni nekik:

Elkezdvén pedig Péter, megmagyarázta nékik rendre, mondván:

But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

But Peter began and explained it to them in order:

Én Joppé városában voltam, imádkoztam, és láttam elragadtatásban egy látomást, valami alászálló edényt, mint egy nagy lepedőt négy sarkánál fogva leeresztve az égből, és egészen hozzám jött.

Én Joppé városában imádkozám; és láték elragadtatásban egy látást, valami alászálló edényt, mint egy nagy lepedőt, négy sarkánál fogva leeresztve az égből; és egészen hozzám szálla:

I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

„Eram în cetatea Iope; şi, pe când mă rugam, am căzut într-o răpire sufletească şi am avut o vedenie: un vas ca o faţă de masă mare, legată cu cele patru colţuri, se cobora din cer şi a venit până la mine.

“I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, something like a great sheet descending, being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to me.

Jobban szemügyre véve földi négylábú állatokat, vadakat, csúszómászókat és égi madarakat láttam benne.

Melyre szememet rávetve megnézém, és látám a földi négylábú állatokat, a vadakat és a csúszómászókat és az égi madarakat.

Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

Când m-am uitat în ea, am văzut dobitoacele cu patru picioare de pe pământ, fiarele, târâtoarele şi păsările cerului.

Looking at it closely, I observed animals and beasts of prey and reptiles and birds of the air.

Hangot is hallottam, amely ezt mondta nekem: Kelj fel, Péter, öljed és egyél!

Hallék pedig szót [is], mely ezt mondja vala nékem: Kelj fel Péter, öljed és egyél!

And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

Şi am auzit un glas care mi-a zis: „Petre, scoală-te, taie şi mănâncă.”

And I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter; kill and eat.’

Én azonban azt mondtam: Semmiképpen sem, Uram, mert soha semmi közönséges vagy tisztátalan nem ment be az én számba.

Mondék azonban: Semmiképen sem, Uram; mert soha semmi közönséges vagy tisztátalan nem ment be az én számba.

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

Dar eu am răspuns: „Nicidecum, Doamne, căci nimic spurcat sau necurat n-a intrat vreodată în gura mea.”

But I said, ‘By no means, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

De másodszor is szólt a hang az égből: Amit Isten megtisztított, azt te ne mondd tisztátalannak.

Felele pedig nékem a szózat másodszor az égből: A miket az Isten megtisztított, te ne mondd tisztátalanoknak.

But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Şi glasul mi-a zis a doua oară din cer: „Ce a curăţat Dumnezeu, să nu numeşti spurcat.”

But the voice answered a second time from heaven, ‘What God has made clean, do not call common.’

Ez pedig háromszor is megtörtént, és az egész újra felemelkedett az égbe.

Ez pedig három ízben történt; és ismét felvonaték az egész az égbe.

And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

Lucrul acesta s-a făcut de trei ori; apoi toate au fost ridicate iarăşi în cer.

This happened three times, and all was drawn up again into heaven.

És íme, azon nyomban három férfi érkezett a ház elé, amelyben voltam, akiket Cézáreából küldtek hozzám.

És ímé, azonnal három férfiú érkezék a házhoz, melyben valék, kik Czézáreából küldettek én hozzám.

And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.

Şi iată că îndată, trei oameni trimişi din Cezareea la mine, au stat la poarta casei în care eram.

And behold, at that very moment three men arrived at the house in which we were, sent to me from Caesarea.

A Lélek pedig azt mondta nekem, hogy menjek velük minden kételkedés nélkül. Eljött pedig velem ez a hat testvér is, és bementünk annak az embernek a házába.

Mondá pedig nékem a Lélek, hogy menjek el velök minden kételkedés nélkül. Eljöve pedig velem ez a hat atyafi is; és bemenénk annak az embernek a házába:

And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

Duhul mi-a spus să plec cu ei, fără să fac vreo deosebire. Aceşti şase fraţi m-au însoţit şi ei şi am intrat în casa omului.

And the Spirit told me to go with them, making no distinction. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered the man’s house.

Ő elbeszélte nekünk, hogy látta, amint az angyal megállt a házában, és ezt mondta neki: Küldj embereket Joppéba, és hívasd magadhoz Simont, akit Péternek hívnak,

És elbeszélé nékünk, mimódon látta, a mint az angyal megálla az ő házában és ezt mondá néki: Küldj embereket Joppéba, és hívasd magadhoz Simont, ki Péternek neveztetik;

And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

El ne-a istorisit cum a văzut în casa lui pe înger stând înaintea lui şi zicându-i: „Trimite la Iope şi cheamă pe Simon, zis şi Petru,

And he told us how he had seen the angel stand in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa and bring Simon who is called Peter;

ő majd olyan igéket hirdet neked, amely által üdvözülsz mind te, mind az egész házad népe.

Ő szólni fog hozzád olyan ígéket, melyek által megtartatol te és a te egész házadnépe.

Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

care-ţi va spune cuvinte prin care vei fi mântuit tu şi toată casa ta.”

he will declare to you a message by which you will be saved, you and all your household.’

Amikor pedig elkezdtem beszélni, leszállt rájuk a Szentlélek, ahogyan ránk is kezdetben.

Mikor pedig én elkezdtem szólni, leszálla a Szent Lélek ő reájok, miképen mi reánk is kezdetben.

And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

Şi, cum am început să vorbesc, Duhul Sfânt S-a coborât peste ei ca şi peste noi la început.

As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.

Akkor eszembe jutott az Úr szava, aki azt mondta: János ugyan vízzel keresztelt, ti azonban Szentlélekkel fogtok megkereszteltetni.

Megemlékezém pedig az Úrnak ama mondásáról, a mint mondá: János ugyan vízzel keresztelt, ti azonban Szent Lélekkel fogtok megkereszteltetni.

Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

Şi mi-am adus aminte de vorba Domnului, cum a zis: „Ioan a botezat cu apă, dar voi veţi fi botezaţi cu Duhul Sfânt.”

And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

Ha tehát az Isten nekik is ugyanazt az ajándékot adta, mint nekünk, akik hittünk az Úr Jézus Krisztusban, akkor ki vagyok én, hogy Istent megakadályoznám?

Ha tehát az Isten hasonló ajándékát adta nékik, mint nékünk is, kik hittünk az Úr Jézus Krisztusban, kicsoda voltam én, hogy az Istent eltilthattam volna?

Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

Deci dacă Dumnezeu le-a dat acelaşi dar ca şi nouă, care am crezut în Domnul Isus Hristos, cine eram eu să mă împotrivesc lui Dumnezeu?”

If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”

Ezeknek hallatára aztán megnyugodtak, és dicsőítették Istent, ezt mondva: Eszerint hát Isten a pogányoknak is adott megtérést az életre!

Ezeknek hallatára aztán megnyugovának, és dicsőíték az Istent, mondván: Eszerint hát a pogányoknak is adott az Isten megtérést az életre!

When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

După ce au auzit aceste lucruri, s-au potolit, au slăvit pe Dumnezeu şi au zis: „Dumnezeu a dat deci şi Neamurilor pocăinţă, ca să aibă viaţa.”

When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”

Azok tehát, akik az István miatt támadt üldözés következtében szétszóródtak, eljutottak Föníciáig, Ciprusig és Antiókhiáig, de senki másnak nem hirdették az igét, csak a zsidóknak.

Azok tehát, a kik eloszlottak az üldözés miatt, mely Istvánért támadott, eljutának Fenicziáig, Cziprusig és Antiókhiáig, senkinek nem prédikálván az ígét, hanem csak a zsidóknak.

Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

Cei ce se împrăştiaseră, din pricina prigonirii întâmplate cu prilejul lui Ştefan, au ajuns până în Fenicia, în Cipru şi în Antiohia şi propovăduiau Cuvântul numai iudeilor.

Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews.

Volt azonban közöttük néhány ciprusi és cirénei férfi, akik amikor Antiókhiába érkeztek, a görögökkel is beszéltek, és hirdették nekik az Úr Jézust.

Voltak azonban közöttük némely cziprusi és czirénei férfiak, kik mikor Antiókhiába bementek, szólának a görögöknek, hirdetve az Úr Jézust.

And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus.

Totuşi printre ei au fost câţiva oameni din Cipru şi din Cirena care au venit în Antiohia, au vorbit şi grecilor şi le-au propovăduit Evanghelia Domnului Isus.

But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who on coming to Antioch spoke to the Hellenists also, preaching the Lord Jesus.

És az Úr keze velük volt, úgyhogy sokan hittek, és tértek meg az Úrhoz.

És az Úrnak keze vala velök; és nagy sokaság tére meg az Úrhoz, hívővé lévén.

And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

Mâna Domnului era cu ei, şi un mare număr de oameni au crezut şi s-au întors la Domnul.

And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord.

A jeruzsálemi gyülekezet fülébe is eljutott ennek a híre, és kiküldték Barnabást, hogy menjen el egész Antiókhiáig,

Elhatott pedig a hír ő felőlük a jeruzsálemi gyülekezet fülébe; és kiküldék Barnabást, hogy menjen el egész Antiókhiáig.

Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

Vestea despre ei a ajuns la urechile Bisericii din Ierusalim şi au trimis pe Barnaba până la Antiohia.

The report of this came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch.

aki igen örvendezett, amikor eljutott oda, és látta az Isten kegyelmét, és arra biztatta őket, hogy állhatatos szívvel maradjanak meg az Úrban.

Ki mikor oda jutott és látta az Isten kegyelmét, örvendeze; és inté mindnyájukat, hogy állhatatos szívvel maradjanak meg az Úrban.

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Când a ajuns el şi a văzut harul lui Dumnezeu, s-a bucurat şi i-a îndemnat pe toţi să rămână cu inimă hotărâtă alipiţi de Domnul.

When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose,

Mert hittel és Szentlélekkel teljes, derék ember volt. És nagy sokaság csatlakozott az Úrhoz.

Mert jámbor és Szent Lélekkel és hittel teljes férfiú vala ő. És nagy sokaság csatlakozék az Úrhoz.

For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

Căci Barnaba era un om de bine, plin de Duhul Sfânt şi de credinţă. Şi destul de mult norod s-a adăugat la Domnul.

for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.

Barnabás Tarzuszba is elment, hogy felkeresse Sault,

Elméne pedig Barnabás Tárzusba, hogy felkeresse Saulust, és rátalálván, elvivé őt Antiókhiába.

Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

Barnaba s-a dus apoi la Tars, ca să caute pe Saul;

So Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,

és rátalálva magával vitte Antiókhiába. Így aztán egy teljes esztendeig forgolódtak a gyülekezetben, és nagy sokaságot tanítottak. A tanítványokat először Antiókhiában nevezték keresztyéneknek.

És lőn, hogy ők egy egész esztendeig forgolódtak a gyülekezetben, és tanítottak nagy sokaságot; és a tanítványokat először Antiókhiában nevezték keresztyéneknek.

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

şi, când l-a găsit, l-a adus la Antiohia. Un an întreg au luat parte la adunările bisericii şi au învăţat pe mulţi oameni. Pentru întâia dată, ucenicilor li s-a dat numele de creştini în Antiohia.

and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.

Ebben az időben lement néhány próféta Jeruzsálemből Antiókhiába.

Ez időtájban pedig menének Jeruzsálemből Antiókhiába próféták.

And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

În vremea aceea, s-au coborât nişte proroci din Ierusalim la Antiohia.

Now in these days prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.

Ezek egyike – név szerint Agabosz – előállt, és a Lélek által megjövendölte, hogy az egész földön nagy éhínség lesz, amely be is következett Klaudiusz idejében.

Felkelvén pedig egy azok közül, névszerint Agabus, megjelenté a Lélek által, hogy az egész föld kerekségén nagy éhség lesz; a mely meg is lőn Klaudius császár idejében.

And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

Unul din ei, numit Agab, s-a sculat şi a vestit, prin Duhul, că va fi o foamete mare în toată lumea. Şi a şi fost, în adevăr, în zilele împăratului Claudiu.

And one of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the world (this took place in the days of Claudius).

A tanítványok pedig elhatározták, hogy aszerint, amint kinek-kinek módjában áll, segélyt küldenek a Júdeában lakó testvéreknek.

A tanítványok pedig elhatározták, hogy a szerint, a mint kinek-kinek közöttük módjában áll, küldenek valamit segítségül a Júdeában lakozó atyafiaknak:

Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

Ucenicii au hotărât să trimită, fiecare după puterea lui, un ajutor fraţilor care locuiau în Iudeea,

So the disciples determined, every one according to his ability, to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.

Ezt meg is tették, és Barnabás és Saul által eljuttatták a vénekhez.

A mit meg is cselekedének, elküldvén a vénekhez Barnabás és Saulus keze által.

Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

ceea ce au şi făcut; şi au trimis acest ajutor la prezbiteri, prin mâna lui Barnaba şi a lui Saul.

And they did so, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.
