Utána Jeruzsálem lakosai legkisebb fiát, Ahazját tették királlyá, mert az idősebbeket mind megölte az a sereg, amely az arabokkal a táborra tört. Így tehát Ahazjá, Jórámnak, Júda királyának a fia kezdett uralkodni.

És királylyá tevék Jeruzsálem lakosai helyette az ő legkisebb fiát Akháziát; mert az idősebbeket mind megölték azok, a kik az Arábiabeliekkel jöttek vala a táborba. Uralkodék azért Akházia, Jórámnak a Júda királyának fia.

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

Locuitorii Ierusalimului au pus împărat în locul lui pe Ahazia, fiul lui cel mai tânăr; căci oastea venită în tabără cu arabii omorâse pe toţi cei mai mari în vârstă. Astfel a început să domnească Ahazia, fiul lui Ioram, împăratul lui Iuda.

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had killed all the older sons. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

Ahazjá negyvenkét esztendős volt, amikor királlyá lett, és egy esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben. Anya neve Ataljá volt, Omri unokája.

Akházia negyvenkét esztendős volt, mikor királylyá lett, és egy esztendeig uralkodék Jeruzsálemben. Anyjának neve Athália volt, a ki az Omri leánya vala.

Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.

Ahazia avea patruzeci şi doi de ani, când a ajuns împărat, şi a domnit un an la Ierusalim. Mama sa se chema Atalia, fata lui Omri.

Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah, the granddaughter of Omri.

He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.

El a umblat în căile casei lui Ahab, căci mama sa îi dădea sfaturi nelegiuite.

He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother was his counselor in doing wickedly.

Gonoszul cselekedett az ÚR szemében, amint Aháb háza népe is, mert vesztére ők voltak a tanácsadói apja halála után.

És gonoszul cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt, miképen az Akháb háznépe, mert azok voltak tanácsadói atyja halála után, az ő veszedelmére.

Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

A făcut ce este rău înaintea Domnului, ca şi casa lui Ahab, căci după moartea tatălui său, ei îi erau sfetnici, spre pierzarea lui.

He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, as the house of Ahab had done. For after the death of his father they were his counselors, to his undoing.

Sőt az ő tanácsukra hadba ment Jórámmal, Aháb fiával, Izráel királyával Hazáél arám király ellen Rámót-Gileádba, de az arámok megsebesítették Jórámot.

Sőt azoknak tanácsa után indulva, hadba méne Jórámmal az Akháb fiával az Izráel királyával Hazáel ellen a Siriabeli király ellen, Rámóth Gileádba; de a Siriabeliek Jórámot megverék.

He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.

Târât de sfatul lor, s-a dus cu Ioram, fiul lui Ahab, împăratul lui Israel, la război împotriva lui Hazael, împăratul Siriei, la Ramot în Galaad. Sirienii au rănit pe Ioram.

He even followed their counsel and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to make war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead. And the Syrians wounded Joram,

Visszatért tehát Jórám, hogy meggyógyíttassa magát Jezréel városában; mert sebek voltak rajta, amelyeket akkor kapott Rámában, mikor Hazáél arám király ellen harcolt. Ahazjá, Jórám fia, Júda királya pedig lement, hogy meglátogassa Jórámot, Aháb fiát Jezréelben, mivel beteg volt.

Visszatért azért [Jórám,] hogy meggyógyíttassa magát Jezréel városában; mert sebek [valának rajta,] melyekkel megsebesíttetett Rámában, mikor Hazáel ellen, Siria királya ellen harczolt. Akházia pedig, Jórámnak a Júda királyának fia, aláméne, hogy meglátogatná Jórámot, az Akháb fiát Jezréelben, mert beteg vala.

And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.

Ioram s-a întors să se vindece la Izreel de rănile pe care i le făcuseră sirienii la Rama, când se bătea împotriva lui Hazael, împăratul Siriei. Azaria, fiul lui Ioram, împăratul lui Iuda, s-a coborât să vadă pe Ioram, fiul lui Ahab, la Izreel, pentru că era bolnav.

and he returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds that he had received at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was wounded.

Az, hogy Ahazjá Jórámhoz ment, Isten akaratából a vesztére lett, mert odaérkezve kivonult Jórámmal Jéhú ellen, aki Nimsi fia volt, akit az ÚR felkenetett, hogy Aháb háza népét kiirtsa.

Hogy Akházia Jórámhoz méne, Isten [akaratából,] az ő romlása vala, mert odaérkezvén, elméne Jórámmal Jéhu ellen, a ki a Nimsi fia volt, a kit az Úr felkenetett, hogy kiírtaná az Akháb háznépét.

And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.

Prin voia lui Dumnezeu şi spre pierzarea lui a venit Ahazia la Ioram. Când a ajuns, a ieşit cu Ioram să se ducă înaintea lui Iehu, fiul lui Nimşi, pe care-l unsese Domnul ca să piardă casa lui Ahab.

But it was ordained by God that the downfall of Ahaziah should come about through his going to visit Joram. For when he came there, he went out with Jehoram to meet Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to destroy the house of Ahab.

Így mikor Jéhú Aháb házán ítéletet tartott, rátalált Júda fejedelmeire és Ahazjá testvéreinek fiaira, akik Ahazjának szolgáltak, és megölette őket.

Lőn azért, mikor Jéhu az Akháb házán bosszút álla, rátalált a Júda fejedelmeire és az Akházia testvéreinek fiaira, a kik Akháziának szolgálnak vala, és megölé őket.

And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them.

Şi, pe când se răzbuna Iehu împotriva casei lui Ahab, a dat peste capii lui Iuda şi peste fiii fraţilor lui Ahazia, care erau în slujba lui Ahazia, şi i-a omorât.

And when Jehu was executing judgment on the house of Ahab, he met the princes of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah’s brothers, who attended Ahaziah, and he killed them.

Ahazját is kereste (noha Samáriában rejtőzött), elfogták és elvitték Jéhúhoz, aki megölette. De eltemették, mert azt mondták róla: Mégis Jósáfát fia volt, aki teljes szívvel kereste az URat. És nem volt immár senki Ahazjá háza népéből, aki királlyá lehetett volna.

Akháziát is keresé és megfogák őt, (ki Samariában rejtőzött vala el) és vivék őt Jéhuhoz, a ki megöleté őt. De eltemették, mert ezt mondják róla: [Mégis] a Jósafát fia volt, a ki teljes szívvel keresé az Urat. És nem vala immár senki az Akházia háznépe közül a ki képes lett volna a királyságra.

And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.

Au căutat pe Ahazia şi l-au prins în Samaria, unde se ascunsese. L-au adus la Iehu şi l-au omorât. Apoi l-au îngropat, căci ziceau: „Este fiul lui Iosafat, care căuta pe Domnul din toată inima lui.” Şi n-a mai rămas nimeni din casa lui Ahazia care să fi fost în stare să domnească.

He searched for Ahaziah, and he was captured while hiding in Samaria, and he was brought to Jehu and put to death. They buried him, for they said, “He is the grandson of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.” And the house of Ahaziah had no one able to rule the kingdom.

Amikor Ahazjá anyja, Ataljá látta, hogy meghalt a fia, fölkelt, és megölte Júda háza népének minden királyi sarját.

És Athália az Akházia anyja, látván, hogy az ő fia meghalt: felkele és megölé a Júda háznépének minden királyi sarját.

But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.

Atalia, mama lui Ahazia, văzând că fiul ei a murit, s-a sculat şi a omorât tot neamul împărătesc al casei lui Iuda.

Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal family of the house of Judah.

De Jósabat, a király leánya fogta Jóást, Ahazjá fiát és titokban kivitte a király fiai közül, akiket halálra szántak, és őt meg a dajkáját a hálószobába vitte. Így rejtette el őt Jósabat, Jórám király leánya, Jójádá pap felesége, aki Ahazjá húga volt, Ataljá elől, hogy ne tudja megöletni.

De Jósabát a király leánya vevé Joást az Akházia fiát, és kivivé őt titkon a király fiai közül, a kik megölettek, és elrejté őt és az ő dajkáját az ágyasházban. But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

Dar Ioşabeat, fata împăratului, a luat pe Ioas, fiul lui Ahazia, l-a ridicat din mijlocul fiilor împăratului, când au fost omorâţi, şi l-a pus cu doica lui în odaia paturilor. Astfel l-a ascuns Ioşabeat, fata împăratului Ioram, nevasta preotului Iehoiada şi sora lui Ahazia, de privirile Ataliei, care nu l-a omorât.

But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the king’s sons who were about to be put to death, and she put him and his nurse in a bedroom. Thus Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram and wife of Jehoiada the priest, because she was a sister of Ahaziah, hid him from Athaliah, so that she did not put him to death.

Náluk volt elrejtve az Úr házában hat esztendeig. Az országban pedig Ataljá uralkodott.

És náluk vala az Úr házában elrejtve hat esztendeig. Athália pedig uralkodék az ország felett.

And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.

A stat şase ani ascuns cu ei în Casa lui Dumnezeu. Şi în ţară domnea Atalia.

And he remained with them six years, hidden in the house of God, while Athaliah reigned over the land.
