Amikor visszatért Roboám Jeruzsálembe, összegyűjtötte Júda és Benjámin házát, száznyolcvanezer válogatott harcost, hogy hadakozzanak Izráel ellen, és visszaszerezzék az országot Roboámnak.

Méne azért Roboám Jeruzsálembe, és összegyűjté a Júda és Benjámin házát, száznyolczvanezer válogatott hadviselőket[,] hogy hadakoznának Izráel ellen, és visszanyernék az országot Roboámnak.

And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.

Roboam, venind la Ierusalim, a strâns casa lui Iuda şi a lui Beniamin, o sută optzeci de mii de oameni de frunte, buni pentru război, ca să lupte împotriva lui Israel şi să-l aducă iarăşi sub stăpânirea lui Roboam.

When Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, 180,000 chosen warriors, to fight against Israel, to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam.

But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

Mondd meg Roboámnak, Salamon fiának, Júda királyának és az egész Izráelnek Júdában és Benjáminban, hogy

Mondd meg Roboámnak, Salamon fiának, Júda királyának és az egész Izráelnek Júdában és Benjáminban, így szólván:

Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,

„Vorbeşte lui Roboam, fiul lui Solomon, împăratul lui Iuda, şi întregului Israel din Iuda şi din Beniamin. Şi spune-le:

“Say to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin,

ezt mondja az ÚR: Ne menjetek föl, és ne harcoljatok testvéreitek ellen. Térjetek vissza, mindenki a maga házába, mert éntőlem lett ez a dolog. És engedtek az ÚR szavának, és visszatértek ahelyett, hogy Jeroboám ellen mentek volna.

Ezt mondja az Úr: Ne menjetek fel és ne hadakozzatok atyátokfiai ellen; térjetek meg ki-ki a maga házába, mert én tőlem lett e dolog. És engedének az Úr szavának, és megtérének a helyett, hogy Jeroboám ellen mennének.

Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Să nu vă suiţi şi să nu faceţi război împotriva fraţilor voştri! Fiecare din voi să se întoarcă acasă, căci de la Mine s-a întâmplat lucrul acesta.” Ei au ascultat de cuvintele Domnului, s-au întors acasă şi nu s-au mai dus împotriva lui Ieroboam.

‘Thus says the LORD, You shall not go up or fight against your relatives. Return every man to his home, for this thing is from me.’” So they listened to the word of the LORD and returned and did not go against Jeroboam.

Roboám tehát Jeruzsálemben lakott, és megerősítette a városokat Júdában.

Lakozék azért Roboám Jeruzsálemben, és megerősíté a városokat Júdában.

And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah.

Roboam a locuit la Ierusalim şi a zidit cetăţi întărite în Iuda.

Rehoboam lived in Jerusalem, and he built cities for defense in Judah.

And Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin fenced cities.

Ţorea, Aialon şi Hebronul, care erau în Iuda şi în Beniamin, şi a făcut din ele nişte cetăţi întărite.

Zorah, Aijalon, and Hebron, fortified cities that are in Judah and in Benjamin.

Megerősítette ezeket az erődítményeket, elöljárókat helyezett azokba, és tárházakat építtetett ott az élelemnek, a bornak és az olajnak.

És mikor megerősítette [ez] erősségeket, helyezett azokba előljárókat és [szerze] tárházakat eleségnek és bornak és olajnak.

And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.

Le-a întărit, a pus în ele căpitani şi magazii de bucate, de untdelemn şi vin.

He made the fortresses strong, and put commanders in them, and stores of food, oil, and wine.

Mindegyik városnak adott pajzsokat és kopjákat, és rendkívül megerősítette azokat. Így lett az övé Júda és Benjámin.

És mindenik városban [szerze] paizsokat és kopjákat, és rendkivül megerősíté azokat. És az övé lőn Júda és Benjámin.

And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.

A pus în fiecare din aceste cetăţi scuturi şi suliţe, şi le-a făcut foarte tari. Iuda şi Beniamin erau ai lui.

And he put shields and spears in all the cities and made them very strong. So he held Judah and Benjamin.

A papok és a léviták egész Izráelből őhozzá csatlakoztak mindenfelől.

Továbbá a papok és a Léviták, a kik az egész Izráelben valának, ő hozzá csatlakozának minden ő határukból;

And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts.

Preoţii şi leviţii care se aflau în tot Israelul şi-au părăsit locuinţele şi s-au dus la el;

And the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel presented themselves to him from all places where they lived.

Mert a léviták elhagyták legelőiket és birtokaikat, és Júdába és Jeruzsálembe mentek, mert kiűzték őket Jeroboám és fiai, hogy ne szolgálhassanak az ÚRnak.

Mert a Léviták elhagyták az ő faluikat és jószágukat, és Júdába és Jeruzsálembe menének, mert kiűzte vala őket Jeroboám és az ő fiai, hogy az Úrnak ne szolgálnának.

For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the LORD:

căci leviţii şi-au părăsit ţinuturile şi moşiile şi au venit în Iuda şi la Ierusalim, pentru că Ieroboam şi fiii săi i-au împiedicat să-şi împlinească slujbele ca preoţi ai Domnului.

For the Levites left their common lands and their holdings and came to Judah and Jerusalem, because Jeroboam and his sons cast them out from serving as priests of the LORD,

And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.

and he appointed his own priests for the high places and for the goat idols and for the calves that he had made.

A papok után Jeruzsálembe mentek Izráel valamennyi törzséből azok, akik szívük szerint keresték az URat, Izráel Istenét, hogy áldozzanak az ÚRnak, atyáik Istenének.

És utánuk Izráel minden nemzetségei közül azok, a kik szívök szerint keresték az Urat, Izráelnek Istenét, menének Jeruzsálembe, hogy áldoznának az Úrnak, az ő atyáik Istenének.

And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.

Aceia din toate seminţiile lui Israel care aveau pe inimă să caute pe Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel au urmat pe leviţi la Ierusalim, ca să jertfească Domnului Dumnezeului părinţilor lor.

And those who had set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came after them from all the tribes of Israel to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the LORD, the God of their fathers.

Ezek megerősítették Júda országát, és támogatták Roboámot, Salamon fiát három esztendeig, mert három esztendeig jártak Dávid és Salamon útján.

És megerősíték Júda országát, és megerősíték Roboámot, a Salamon fiát három esztendeig; mert három esztendeig járának Dávidnak és Salamonnak útján.

So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.

Ei au dat astfel tărie împărăţiei lui Iuda şi au întărit pe Roboam, fiul lui Solomon, timp de trei ani; căci trei ani au umblat în calea lui David şi a lui Solomon.

They strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and for three years they made Rehoboam the son of Solomon secure, for they walked for three years in the way of David and Solomon.

Roboám feleségül vette Mahalatot, Jerimótnak, Dávid fiának leányát és Abihailt, Eliábnak, Isai fiának leányát,

És feleségül vevé Roboám Mahalátát, Jérimótnak, a Dávid fiának leányát [és] Abihailt, Eliábnak, az Isai fiának leányát,

And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;

Roboam a luat de nevastă pe Mahalat, fata lui Ierimot, fiul lui David şi al Abihailei, fata lui Eliab, fiul lui Isai.

Rehoboam took as wife Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David, and of Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse,

Which bare him children; Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham.

Ea i-a născut fii pe: Ieuş, Şemaria şi Zaham.

and she bore him sons, Jeush, Shemariah, and Zaham.

Azután elvette Maakát, Absolon leányát, aki Abijját, Attajt, Zízát és Selómitot szülte neki.

És ő utána vevé Maakát, az Absolon leányát, a ki szülé néki Abiját, Attait, Zizát és Selómitot.

And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; which bare him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.

După ea, a luat pe Maaca, fata lui Absalom. Ea i-a născut pe Abia, pe Atai, pe Ziza şi pe Şelomit.

After her he took Maacah the daughter of Absalom, who bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza, and Shelomith.

Roboám Maakát, Absolon leányát szerette legjobban minden felesége és másodfelesége közül. Mert tizennyolc felesége és hatvan másodfelesége volt, és huszonnyolc fiút és hatvan leányt nemzett tőlük.

Legjobban szereté pedig Roboám Maakát, az Absolon leányát minden feleségei és ágyasai között; mert tizennyolcz felesége és hatvan ágyasa volt. És nemze huszonnyolcz fiút és hatvan leányt.

And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.)

Roboam iubea pe Maaca, fata lui Absalom, mai mult decât pe toate nevestele şi ţiitoarele lui; căci a avut optsprezece neveste şi şaizeci de ţiitoare şi a născut douăzeci şi opt de fii şi şaizeci de fete.

Rehoboam loved Maacah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and concubines (he took eighteen wives and sixty concubines, and fathered twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters).

Roboám Abijját, Maaká fiát tette testvérei között az elsővé és elöljáróvá, mert őt akarta királlyá tenni.

And Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, to be ruler among his brethren: for he thought to make him king.

Roboam a dat cel dintâi loc lui Abia, fiul Maacăi, şi l-a pus căpetenie peste fraţii lui, căci voia să-l facă împărat.

And Rehoboam appointed Abijah the son of Maacah as chief prince among his brothers, for he intended to make him king.

Okosan szétosztotta fiai közt Júda és Benjámin egész földjét a megerősített városokkal, és bőségesen adott nekik élelmet, és sok feleséget szerzett nekik.

És okosan gondolkodván, szétosztá fiait mind Júda és Benjámin földén a megerősített városokba, a kiknek bőségesen adott eleséget és sok feleséget szerzett számukra.

And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives.

El a lucrat cu minte, împrăştiind pe toţi fiii săi în toate ţinuturile lui Iuda şi lui Beniamin, în toate cetăţile întărite; le-a dat de mâncare din belşug şi le-a căutat o mulţime de neveste.

And he dealt wisely and distributed some of his sons through all the districts of Judah and Benjamin, in all the fortified cities, and he gave them abundant provisions and procured wives for them.
