Akkor így szólt Salamon: Az ÚR mondta, hogy ő felhőben akar lakni.

Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Atunci Solomon a zis: „Domnul a zis că vrea să locuiască în întuneric!

Then Solomon said, “The LORD has said that he would dwell in thick darkness.

Én pedig házat építettem neked lakásul, olyan helyet, ahol örökké lakhatsz.

Én pedig lakóházat építettem néked, helyet, a hol örökké lakjál.

But I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for ever.

Şi eu am zidit o Casă care-Ţi va fi locuinţa, un loc unde vei locui în veci!”

But I have built you an exalted house, a place for you to dwell in forever.”

Azután megfordult a király, és megáldotta Izráel egész gyülekezetét. Izráel egész gyülekezete pedig fölállt.

Azután megfordult a király, és megáldá Izráel egész gyülekezetét; és Izráel egész gyülekezete felállott.

And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.

Împăratul şi-a întors faţa şi a binecuvântat toată adunarea lui Israel. Şi toată adunarea lui Israel stătea în picioare.

Then the king turned around and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel stood.

Ezt mondta: Áldott az ÚR, Izráel Istene, aki szólott szája által atyámnak, Dávidnak, és hatalmas kezével be is teljesítette e szavait:

És monda: Áldott az Úr, Izráel Istene, ki szólott volt az ő szája által az én atyámnak, Dávidnak, és [hatalmas] kezeivel beteljesítette, mondván:

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,

Şi el a zis: „Binecuvântat să fie Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel care a vorbit cu gura Sa tatălui meu, David, şi a împlinit prin puterea Sa ce spusese, când a zis:

And he said, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hand has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to David my father, saying,

„Attól a naptól fogva, amelyen kihoztam népemet Egyiptom földjéről, soha nem választottam egyetlen várost sem Izráel egyetlen törzséből sem azért, hogy házat építsenek, hogy abban legyen a nevem. És egy embert sem választottam ki, hogy népemnek, Izráelnek fejedelme legyen.

Attól a naptól fogva, a melyen kihozám az én népemet Égyiptom földéből, soha nem választottam egyetlen várost sem az Izráel minden nemzetségei közül, hogy házat építenének, a melyben lenne az én nevem, sem férfit nem választottam, hogy az én népemnek Izráelnek vezére lenne.

Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:

„Din ziua când am scos pe poporul Meu din ţara Egiptului, n-am ales nicio cetate dintre toate seminţiile lui Israel, ca să se zidească acolo o Casă în care să locuiască Numele Meu, şi n-am ales pe niciun om, care să fie căpetenia poporului Meu, Israel.

‘Since the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there, and I chose no man as prince over my people Israel;

De most Jeruzsálemet kiválasztottam, hogy nevem abban legyen, és kiválasztottam Dávidot, hogy vezére legyen népemnek, Izráelnek.”

Hanem Jeruzsálemet választottam, hogy az én nevem abban lenne, és választám Dávidot, hogy [vezére] lenne az én népemnek, Izráelnek.

But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

Ci Ierusalimul l-am ales, pentru ca în el să locuiască Numele Meu, şi pe David l-am ales, ca să domnească peste poporul Meu, Israel!”

but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’

Ámbár atyám, Dávid elhatározta már magában, hogy házat épít az ÚRnak, Izráel Istenének,

Ámbár az én atyám, Dávid elvégezé magában, hogy házat építene az Úrnak, Izráel Istenének,

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

Tatăl meu, David, avea de gând să zidească o casă Numelui Domnului Dumnezeului lui Israel.

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

de az ÚR azt mondta atyámnak, Dávidnak: Hogy arra gondoltál, hogy nevemnek házat építesz, jól tetted, hogy szívedben ezt elhatároztad.

De az Úr azt mondotta Dávidnak, az én atyámnak: Azt, hogy arra gondoltál, hogy az én nevemnek házat építs, jól tetted, hogy szívedben ezt elvégezted;

But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:

Şi Domnul a zis tatălui meu, David: „Fiindcă ai avut de gând să zideşti o Casă Numelui Meu, bine ai făcut că ai avut gândul acesta.

But the LORD said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

Mégsem te építesz házat nekem, hanem a fiad, aki a te ágyékodból származik, ő épít házat az én nevemnek.

Mégis nem te építesz házat nékem, hanem a te fiad, a ki a te ágyékodból származik, ő épít az én nevemnek házat.

Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.

Numai că nu tu vei zidi Casa; ci fiul tău, ieşit din tine, va zidi Numelui Meu o Casă.”

Nevertheless, it is not you who shall build the house, but your son who shall be born to you shall build the house for my name.’

És beteljesítette az ÚR az ő beszédét, amelyet szólt. Mert fölkeltem atyám, Dávid után, és Izráel trónjára ültem, amint az ÚR megmondta, és fölépítettem a házat Izráel Istene, az ÚR nevének.

És beteljesíté most az Úr az ő beszédét, a melyet szólott; mert felkelék az én atyám Dávid helyett, és ülék az Izráel királyi székébe, a mint az Úr megmondotta volt; és megépítém a házat az Úrnak, Izráel Istene nevének.

The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

Domnul a împlinit cuvântul pe care-l spusese. Eu m-am ridicat în locul tatălui meu, David, şi am şezut pe scaunul de domnie al lui Israel, cum vestise Domnul, şi am zidit o Casă Numelui Domnului Dumnezeului lui Israel.

Now the LORD has fulfilled his promise that he made. For I have risen in the place of David my father and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and I have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

És abba helyeztettem a ládát, amelyben az ÚR szövetsége van, melyet Izráel fiaival szerzett.

And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel.

Am aşezat în ea chivotul, în care este legământul Domnului, legământul pe care l-a făcut El cu copiii lui Israel.”

And there I have set the ark, in which is the covenant of the LORD that he made with the people of Israel.”

Majd odaállt Salamon az ÚR oltára elé Izráel egész gyülekezetével szemben, és kitárta karját.

És oda állott [Salamon] az Úr oltára elé, az Izráel egész gyülekezetével szemben, és kezeit kiterjesztette.

And he stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands:

Solomon s-a aşezat înaintea altarului Domnului, în faţa întregii adunări a lui Israel, şi a întins mâinile.

Then Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the assembly of Israel and spread out his hands.

Salamon pedig egy emelvényt csináltatott rézből, amelyet a csarnok közepén helyeztetett el: hossza öt könyök, szélessége is öt könyök, magassága pedig három könyök volt. Felállt arra, majd térdre esett az egész Izráel gyülekezete előtt, kezét kitárta az ég felé,

Salamon pedig egy széket csináltatott vala rézből, a melyet a tornácznak közepén helyeztetett el, melynek hossza öt sing, szélessége is öt sing, magassága pedig három sing vala. Felálla abba, és térdeire esvén az egész Izráel gyülekezete előtt, kezeit az ég felé kiterjeszté,

For Solomon had made a brasen scaffold of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven.

Căci Solomon făcuse o treaptă de aramă şi o pusese în mijlocul curţii. Ea era lungă de cinci coţi, lată de cinci coţi şi înaltă de trei coţi; a şezut pe ea, s-a aşezat în genunchi în faţa întregii adunări a lui Israel şi a întins mâinile spre cer.

Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the court, and he stood on it. Then he knelt on his knees in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven,

és ezt mondta: Ó, URam, Izráel Istene, nincs hozzád hasonló Isten sem a mennyben, sem a földön, aki kegyelmesen megtartod a szolgáiddal kötött szövetséget, ha teljes szívvel járnak előtted!

És monda: Oh Uram, Izráelnek Istene, nincsen hozzád hasonló Isten sem mennyben, sem földön, a ki megtartod a te fogadásodat és irgalmasságodat a te szolgáidhoz, a kik te előtted teljes szívvel járnak!

And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:

Şi a zis: „Doamne Dumnezeul lui Israel! Nu este Dumnezeu ca Tine, în ceruri şi pe pământ: Tu ţii legământul şi îndurarea Ta faţă de robii Tăi care umblă înaintea Ta cu toată inima lor!

and said, “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart,

Te megtartottad, amit szolgádnak, az én atyámnak, Dávidnak ígértél. Mert te magad szóltál, és kezeddel beteljesítetted azt, amint e mai napon látható.

Ki megtartottad a te szolgádnak, az én atyámnak, Dávidnak, a mit szólottál néki; mert te magad szólottál, és kezeiddel beteljesítéd, a mint e mai napon megtetszik.

Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

Astfel, Ţi-ai ţinut cuvântul dat robului Tău David, tatăl meu; şi ce ai spus cu gura Ta împlineşti astăzi prin puterea Ta.

who have kept with your servant David my father what you declared to him. You spoke with your mouth, and with your hand have fulfilled it this day.

Most azért, ó, URam, Izráel Istene, teljesítsd be, amit így ígértél szolgádnak, Dávidnak, az én atyámnak: Nem fogy el előlem a te magodból való férfiú, aki Izráel trónján ül; de csak úgy, ha fiaid vigyáznak útjukra, hogy törvényem szerint járjanak, ahogy te is énelőttem jártál.

Most azért, oh Uram, Izráelnek Istene, tartsd meg, a mit a te szolgádnak, Dávidnak, az én atyámnak igértél, mondván: Nem fogy el előttem a te magodból való férfiú, a ki az Izráelnek királyiszékiben üljön; csakhogy a te fiaid őrizzék meg az ő útjokat, hogy az én törvényemben járjanak, mint te én előttem jártál.

Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.

Acum, Doamne Dumnezeul lui Israel, ţine făgăduinţa pe care ai făcut-o tatălui meu, David, când ai zis: „Niciodată nu vei fi lipsit înaintea Mea de un urmaş care să şadă pe scaunul de domnie al lui Israel, numai fiii tăi să ia seama la calea lor şi să meargă în Legea Mea, cum ai mers tu înaintea Mea.”

Now therefore, O LORD, God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father what you have promised him, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk in my law as you have walked before me.’

Most azért, ó, URam, Izráel Istene, váljék valóra beszéded, amelyet szolgádnak, Dávidnak mondtál!

Most azért, oh Uram, Izráelnek Istene, bizonyosodjék meg a te beszéded, melyet szólottál volt a te szolgádnak, Dávidnak!

Now then, O LORD God of Israel, let thy word be verified, which thou hast spoken unto thy servant David.

Împlinească-se, dar, Doamne Dumnezeul lui Israel, făgăduinţa pe care ai făcut-o robului Tău David!

Now therefore, O LORD, God of Israel, let your word be confirmed, which you have spoken to your servant David.

Mert lakhat-e valóságban Isten a földön, az emberek között? Íme, az egek és az egeknek egei be nem fogadhatnak téged, mennyivel kevésbé e ház, amelyet én építettem.

(Avagy lakozhatnék-é valósággal az Isten e földön az emberek között? Ím az egek és az egeknek egei téged be nem foghatnak, mennyivel kevésbbé e ház, a melyet én építettem.)

But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!

Dar ce! Să locuiască Dumnezeu cu adevărat împreună cu omul pe pământ? Iată că cerurile şi cerurile cerurilor nu Te pot cuprinde: cu cât mai puţin această Casă pe care am zidit-o eu!

“But will God indeed dwell with man on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you, how much less this house that I have built!

Mégis tekints szolgád könyörgésére és imádságára, ó, én URam, Istenem, hallgasd meg kiáltását és könyörgését, ahogy szolgád könyörög előtted!

És tekints a te szolgád könyörgésére és imádságára, oh én Uram Istenem, meghallgatván kiáltását és könyörgését, a melylyel könyörög a te szolgád előtted!

Have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee:

Totuşi, Doamne Dumnezeul meu, ia aminte la rugăciunea robului Tău şi la cererea lui! Ascultă strigătul şi rugăciunea pe care Ţi-o face robul Tău.

Yet have regard to the prayer of your servant and to his plea, O LORD my God, listening to the cry and to the prayer that your servant prays before you,

Szemed éjjel-nappal figyeljen e házra, e helyre, amelyről azt mondtad, hogy nevedet abba fogod helyezni, és meghallgatod szolgád könyörgését, amikor e helyen könyörögni fog.

Hogy a te szemeid éjjel és nappal figyelmezzenek e házra, e helyre, a melyről azt mondottad, hogy nevedet abba helyezénded, meghallgatván könyörgését a te szolgádnak, a mikor e helyen könyörögne.

That thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.

Ochii Tăi să fie zi şi noapte deschişi peste Casa aceasta, peste locul despre care ai zis că acolo va fi Numele Tău! Ascultă rugăciunea pe care o face robul Tău în locul acesta!

that your eyes may be open day and night toward this house, the place where you have promised to set your name, that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place.

Hallgasd meg azért a te szolgádnak és a te népednek, Izráelnek könyörgését, amikor könyörögni fognak e helyen. Hallgasd meg mennyei lakóhelyedből, és amikor meghallgatod őket, légy kegyelmes!

Hallgasd meg azért a te szolgádnak és a te népednek Izráelnek könyörgését, a mikor könyörögni fognak e helyen; hallgasd meg a te mennyei lakhelyedből, és meghallgatván őket, légy kegyelmes!

Hearken therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.

Ascultă cererile robului Tău şi ale poporului Tău, Israel, când se vor ruga în locul acesta! Ascultă din locul locuinţei Tale, din ceruri, ascultă şi iartă!

And listen to the pleas of your servant and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. And listen from heaven your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive.

Mikor valaki vétkezik felebarátja ellen, és esküre kötelezik, hogy megesküdjék, és ő ide jön, és megesküszik oltárod előtt ebben a házban,

Mikor valaki vétkezéndik felebarátja ellen, és esküre köteleztetik, hogy megesküdjék, és ő ide jő, megesküszik oltárod előtt ebben a házban,

If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;

Dacă va păcătui cineva împotriva aproapelui său şi se va pune peste el un jurământ, ca să-l facă să jure, şi dacă va veni să jure înaintea altarului Tău, în Casa aceasta –

“If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath and comes and swears his oath before your altar in this house,

te hallgasd meg a mennyből, és tégy igaz ítéletet szolgáid között. Az istentelent büntesd meg: fordítsd a fejére az ő útját, és az igazat igazítsd meg: fizess meg neki az ő igazsága szerint.

Te hallgasd meg a mennyből és vidd véghez, és tégy igaz ítéletet a te szolgáid között, az istentelent megbüntetvén, fejére fordítván az ő útját; és az igazat megigazítván, megfizetvén néki az ő igazsága szerint.

Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.

ascultă-l din ceruri, lucrează şi judecă pe robii Tăi: osândeşte pe cel vinovat şi fă ca purtarea lui să cadă asupra capului lui; fă dreptate celui nevinovat şi răsplăteşte-i după nevinovăţia lui!

then hear from heaven and act and judge your servants, repaying the guilty by bringing his conduct on his own head, and vindicating the righteous by rewarding him according to his righteousness.

Mikor pedig megverik népedet, Izráelt az ellenségei, mivel vétkeztek ellened, és hozzád visszatérve vallást tesznek a te nevedről, könyörögnek és imádkoznak teelőtted e házban,

Mikor pedig megverettetik a te néped, az Izráel az ő ellenségeitől, mivel te ellened vétkeztek; és [hozzád] visszatérve vallást tesznek a te nevedről, könyörögnek és imádkoznak te előtted e házban:

And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;

Când poporul Tău, Israel, va fi bătut de vrăjmaş, pentru că a păcătuit împotriva Ta: dacă se vor întoarce la Tine şi vor da slavă Numelui Tău, dacă Îţi vor face rugăciuni şi cereri în Casa aceasta –

“If your people Israel are defeated before the enemy because they have sinned against you, and they turn again and acknowledge your name and pray and plead with you in this house,

hallgasd meg a mennyből, és bocsásd meg népednek, Izráelnek a vétkét, és hozd vissza őket arra a földre, amelyet nekik és atyáiknak adtál.

Te hallgasd meg a mennyből, és bocsásd meg a te népednek, az Izráelnek bűnét, és hozd vissza őket arra a földre, a melyet adtál nékik és az ő atyáiknak.

Then hear thou from the heavens, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest to them and to their fathers.

ascultă-i din ceruri, iartă păcatul poporului Tău, Israel, şi adu-i înapoi în ţara pe care ai dat-o lor şi părinţilor lor.

then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and bring them again to the land that you gave to them and to their fathers.

Mikor az ég bezárul, és nem lesz eső, mivel vétkeztek ellened, és imádkozni fognak e helyen, és vallást tesznek nevedről, és megtérnek bűneikből, mert megaláztad őket,

Mikor az ég berekesztetik és nem lészen eső, mivel vétkeztek te ellened; és imádkozni fognak e helyen és vallást tesznek a te nevedről és megtérnek bűneikből, mert te sanyargatod őket:

When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;

Când cerul va fi închis şi nu va fi ploaie, din pricina păcatelor lor împotriva Ta: dacă se vor ruga în acest loc şi vor da slavă Numelui Tău, şi dacă se vor întoarce de la păcatele lor (pentru că-i vei fi pedepsit),

“When heaven is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin, when you afflict them,

hallgasd meg őket a mennyből, és légy kegyelmes szolgáidhoz és népedhez, Izráelhez, miután megtanítottad őket az igaz útra, hogy azon járjanak; és adj esőt a földedre, amelyet népednek adtál örökségül.

Te hallgasd meg a mennyből, és légy kegyelmes a te szolgáidnak és a te népednek, az Izráelnek; minekutána őket megtanítándod az igaz útra, a melyen járjanak; és adj esőt a te földedre, a melyet adtál a te népednek örökségül.

Then hear thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, when thou hast taught them the good way, wherein they should walk; and send rain upon thy land, which thou hast given unto thy people for an inheritance.

ascultă-i din ceruri, iartă păcatul robilor Tăi şi al poporului Tău, Israel, învaţă-i calea cea bună în care trebuie să meargă şi trimite ploaie pe pământul pe care l-ai dat de moştenire poporului Tău!

then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk, and grant rain upon your land, which you have given to your people as an inheritance.

Ha éhínség lesz a földön, ha döghalál, aszály, ragya, sáska, cserebogár, ha ellensége szorongatja országa határában, ha bármiféle csapás és nyomorúság jön rájuk,

Éhség ha lesz a földön, ha döghalál, aszály, ragya, sáska, cserebogár; ha az ő ellensége szorongatja az ő birodalmának földében; ha bármiféle csapás és nyomorúság [jövend] reájok:

If there be dearth in the land, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillers; if their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be:

Când vor fi în ţară foametea, ciuma, rugina în grâu şi mălura, lăcustele de un soi sau altul, când vrăjmaşul va împresura pe poporul Tău, în ţara lui, în cetăţile lui, când vor fi urgii sau boli de vreun fel:

“If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence or blight or mildew or locust or caterpillar, if their enemies besiege them in the land at their gates, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is,

aki akkor könyörög és imádkozik, legyen az bármely ember vagy egész néped, Izráel: ha elismeri valaki az őt ért csapás és a fájdalom jogosságát, és kezét e házban kiterjeszti,

A ki akkor könyörög és imádkozik, legyen az bárki; vagy a te néped, az Izráel, ha elismeri kiki az ő csapását és fájdalmát, és kezeit e házban kiterjeszténdi:

Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when every one shall know his own sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:

dacă un om, dacă tot poporul Tău, Israel, va face rugăciuni şi cereri, şi fiecare îşi va cunoaşte rana şi durerea şi va întinde mâinile spre Casa aceasta –

whatever prayer, whatever plea is made by any man or by all your people Israel, each knowing his own affliction and his own sorrow and stretching out his hands toward this house,

hallgasd meg a mennyből, a te lakóhelyedről, légy kegyelmes, és kinek-kinek fizess az ő útjai szerint, amint megismerted szívét, mert egyedül csak te ismered az emberek fiainak szívét;

Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and render unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou only knowest the hearts of the children of men:)

then hear from heaven your dwelling place and forgive and render to each whose heart you know, according to all his ways, for you, you only, know the hearts of the children of mankind,

That they may fear thee, to walk in thy ways, so long as they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

ca să se teamă de Tine şi să umble în căile Tale tot timpul cât vor trăi în ţara pe care ai dat-o părinţilor noştri!

that they may fear you and walk in your ways all the days that they live in the land that you gave to our fathers.

Sőt még az idegent is, aki nem a te néped, Izráel fiai közül való, ha eljön messze földről a te nagy nevedért, erős kezedért és kiterjesztett karodért, mikor ideérkeznek, és könyörögnek e házban,

Moreover concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, but is come from a far country for thy great name's sake, and thy mighty hand, and thy stretched out arm; if they come and pray in this house;

Când străinul care nu este din poporul Tău, Israel, va veni dintr-o ţară depărtată, din pricina Numelui Tău celui mare, din pricina mâinii Tale celei tari şi din pricina braţului Tău întins, când va veni să se roage în Casa acesta –

“Likewise, when a foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, comes from a far country for the sake of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm, when he comes and prays toward this house,

Te hallgasd meg a mennyből, a te lakóhelyedből, és add meg az idegennek mindazt, a miért könyörög hozzád, hogy megismerjék a földnek minden népei a te nevedet, és tiszteljenek téged úgy, mint a te néped, az Izráel, és ismerjék meg, hogy a te nevedről neveztetik e ház, a melyet én építettem.

Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for; that all people of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.

ascultă-l din ceruri, din locul locuinţei Tale, şi dă străinului aceluia tot ce-Ţi va cere, pentru ca toate popoarele pământului să cunoască Numele Tău, să se teamă de Tine ca poporul Tău, Israel, şi să ştie că Numele Tău este chemat peste Casa aceasta pe care am zidit-o!

hear from heaven your dwelling place and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to you, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house that I have built is called by your name.

Ha néped hadba vonul ellensége ellen azon az úton, amelyen elbocsátod őket, és könyörögnek hozzád e város felé fordulva, amelyet kiválasztottál magadnak, és e ház felé, amelyet a te nevednek építettem,

Ha a te néped hadba megy ki az ő ellensége ellen azon az úton, a melyen elbocsátod őket; ha könyörögnek, hozzád [fordulván] e város felé, a melyet választottál magadnak, és e ház felé, a melyet a te nevednek építettem:

If thy people go out to war against their enemies by the way that thou shalt send them, and they pray unto thee toward this city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name;

Când va ieşi poporul Tău la luptă împotriva vrăjmaşilor lui, urmând calea pe care îi vei porunci s-o urmeze: dacă Îţi vor face rugăciuni cu privirile îndreptate spre cetatea aceasta pe care ai ales-o şi spre Casa pe care am zidit-o în Numele Tău –

“If your people go out to battle against their enemies, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to you toward this city that you have chosen and the house that I have built for your name,

Then hear thou from the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.

Ha vétkeznek ellened (mert nincsen ember, aki ne vétkeznék), és megharagszol rájuk, az ellenség kezébe adod őket, és fogságba viszik őket azok, akik elfogták őket, messze földre vagy közelre,

Ha vétkeznek ellened (mert nincsen ember, a ki nem vétkeznék) és reájok megharagudván, az ellenség kezébe adándod és őket fogságba viendik azok, a kiktől megfogattak, messze földre vagy közelre,

If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;

Când vor păcătui împotriva Ta – căci nu este om care să nu păcătuiască – şi când vei fi mâniat împotriva lor şi-i vei da în mâna vrăjmaşului, care-i va duce robi într-o ţară depărtată sau apropiată:

“If they sin against you—for there is no one who does not sin—and you are angry with them and give them to an enemy, so that they are carried away captive to a land far or near,

Yet if they bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;

dacă se vor întoarce la Tine din toată inima lor şi din tot sufletul lor, în ţara robiei lor, unde au fost duşi robi, dacă-Ţi vor face rugăciuni cu privirile întoarse spre ţara lor, pe care ai dat-o părinţilor lor, spre cetatea pe care ai ales-o şi spre Casa pe care am zidit-o Numelui Tău –

if they repent with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity to which they were carried captive, and pray toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city that you have chosen and the house that I have built for your name,

Most azért, ó, én Istenem, szemed legyen nyitva, és füled legyen figyelmes a könyörgésre ezen a helyen.

Most azért, oh én Istenem, legyenek a te szemeid nyitva és füleid legyenek figyelmesek a könyörgésre ezen a helyen.

Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Acum, Dumnezeule, ochii Tăi să fie deschişi, şi urechile să-Ţi fie cu luare aminte la rugăciunea făcută în locul acesta!

Now, O my God, let your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayer of this place.

És most kelj föl, ó, ÚR Isten, nyugalmad helyére, te és a te hatalmad ládája! Papjaidat, ó, ÚR Isten, öltöztesd fel szabadításoddal, kegyeseid pedig örvendezzenek a jóban.

És most kelj fel, oh Úr Isten, a te nyugodalmadba, te és a te hatalmasságodnak ládája! A te papjaid, oh Úr Isten, öltöztessenek fel üdvösséggel, és a te szenteid örvendezzenek a jóban.

Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.

Acum, Doamne Dumnezeule, scoală-Te, vino la locul Tău de odihnă, Tu şi chivotul măreţiei Tale. Preoţii Tăi, Doamne Dumnezeule, să fie îmbrăcaţi cu mântuirea, şi preaiubiţii Tăi să se bucure de fericire!

“And now arise, O LORD God, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. Let your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints rejoice in your goodness.

Ó, ÚR Isten, ne fordulj el felkent királyod arcától. Emlékezzél meg Dávidhoz, a te szolgádhoz való nagy irgalmasságodról!

Oh Úr Isten, ne utáld meg a te felkenetett [király]od orczáját; emlékezzél meg Dávidhoz, a te szolgádhoz való [nagy] irgalmasságaidról!

O LORD God, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.
