Ászá uralkodásának harminchatodik esztendejében Baasá, Izráel királya Júda ellen vonult, és kiépítette Rámát, hogy ne engedjen senkit se kimenni, se bemenni Ászához, Júda királyához.

Asa király uralkodásának harminczhatodik esztendejében feljöve Baása, az Izráel királya Júda ellen, és megépíté Rámát, hogy ne engedjen senkit se kimenni, se bemenni Asához a Júda királyához.

In the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.

În al treizeci şi şaselea an al domniei lui Asa, Baeşa, împăratul lui Israel, s-a suit împotriva lui Iuda; şi a întărit Rama, ca să nu lase pe ai lui Asa, împăratul lui Iuda, să iasă şi să intre.

In the thirty-sixth year of the reign of Asa, Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah and built Ramah, that he might permit no one to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.

Ekkor Ászá ezüstöt és aranyat hozott ki az ÚR házának és a királyi palotának kincstárából, és elküldte Benhadadnak, Arám királyának, aki Damaszkuszban lakott, ezzel az üzenettel:

De Asa az Úrnak és a királynak tárházából hoza ki ezüstöt, aranyat, és küldé azt Benhadádnak, a Siriabeli királynak, a ki lakik vala Damaskusban, mondván:

Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king's house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

Asa a scos argint şi aur din vistieriile Casei Domnului şi ale casei împăratului şi a trimis soli la Ben-Hadad, împăratul Siriei, care locuia la Damasc. Şi a pus să-i spună:

Then Asa took silver and gold from the treasures of the house of the LORD and the king’s house and sent them to Ben-hadad king of Syria, who lived in Damascus, saying,

Szövetség van köztem és közted, amint az én apám és a te apád között is volt azelőtt. Íme, küldök neked ezüstöt és aranyat. Menj el, bontsd fel a szövetségedet Baasával, Izráel királyával, hogy távozzék el tőlem.

Szövetség van köztem és te közötted, a mint az én atyám és a te atyád között is volt [azelőtt]. Ímé küldök néked ezüstöt és aranyat. Menj el, bontsd fel a te szövetségedet Baásával, az Izráel királyával, hogy távozzék el tőlem.

There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.

„Să fie un legământ între mine şi tine, cum a fost unul între tatăl meu şi tatăl tău. Iată, îţi trimit argint şi aur. Du-te şi rupe legământul tău cu Baeşa, împăratul lui Israel, ca să se depărteze de la mine.”

“There is a covenant between me and you, as there was between my father and your father. Behold, I am sending to you silver and gold. Go, break your covenant with Baasha king of Israel, that he may withdraw from me.”

Benhadad engedett Ászá királynak, és seregének vezéreit Izráel városai ellen küldte, és bevette Ijjónt, Dánt, Ábél-Maimot és Naftáli minden raktárvárosát.

És engedvén Benhadád Asa királynak, elküldé az ő seregének vezéreit Izráel városai ellen, és bevevé Ijont, Dánt, Abelmáimot és Nafthali minden kincses városait.

And Benhadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelmaim, and all the store cities of Naphtali.

Ben-Hadad a ascultat pe împăratul Asa; a trimis pe căpeteniile oştirii sale împotriva cetăţilor lui Israel şi au bătut Iionul, Dan, Abel-Maim şi toate locurile pentru merinde din cetăţile lui Neftali.

And Ben-hadad listened to King Asa and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel, and they conquered Ijon, Dan, Abel-maim, and all the store cities of Naphtali.

Amikor ezt Baasá meghallotta, abbahagyta Ráma megerősítését, és beszüntette a munkát.

A mit mikor meghallott Baása, abbanhagyta Ráma építését és megszünteté munkáját.

And it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease.

Când a auzit Baeşa, a încetat să mai întărească Rama şi a pus capăt lucrărilor sale.

And when Baasha heard of it, he stopped building Ramah and let his work cease.

Ekkor Ászá király Júda egész népét munkára fogta, és Rámából minden követ és fát elhordtak, amelyekkel Baasá építette a várost, és azokból megerősítette Gebát és Micpát.

Akkor Asa király felvevé az egész Júda népét, és Rámából a köveket és a fákat mind elhordák, a melyekkel Baása a várost építi vala, és azokból Gébát és Mispát építé.

Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.

Împăratul Asa a pus pe tot Iuda să ridice pietrele şi lemnele pe care le întrebuinţa Baeşa la întărirea Ramei şi le-a întrebuinţat la întărirea Ghebei şi Miţpei.

Then King Asa took all Judah, and they carried away the stones of Ramah and its timber, with which Baasha had been building, and with them he built Geba and Mizpah.

Abban az időben ment Hanáni próféta Ászához, Júda királyához, és ezt mondta neki: Mivel Arám királyában bíztál, és nem az ÚRban, a te Istenedben, ezért szabadult meg kezedből az arám király hada.

Az időben méne Hanáni próféta Asához, a Júda királyához, és monda néki: Mivel a Siriabeli királyban volt bizodalmad, és nem az Úrban, a te Istenedben bízál: ezért szabadult meg a Siriabeli király hada a te kezedből.

And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.

În vremea aceea, Hanani, văzătorul, s-a dus la Asa, împăratul lui Iuda, şi i-a zis: „Pentru că te-ai sprijinit pe împăratul Siriei, şi nu te-ai sprijinit pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău, de aceea a scăpat oastea împăratului Siriei din mâinile tale.

At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him, “Because you relied on the king of Syria, and did not rely on the LORD your God, the army of the king of Syria has escaped you.

Hát nem volt-e az etiópoknak és a líbiaiaknak nagy seregük, igen sok harci szekerük és lovasuk? Mégis, mivel az ÚRban bíztál, kezedbe adta őket.

Avagy nem vala-é a Szerecseneknek és a Libiabelieknek nagy seregök, felette sok szekereik és lovagjaik? Mindazáltal, mivel az Úrban volt bizodalmad, kezedbe adá azokat;

Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand.

Etiopienii şi libienii nu alcătuiau oare o oaste mare, cu o mulţime de care şi călăreţi? Şi totuşi Domnul i-a dat în mâinile tale, pentru că te sprijiniseşi pe El.

Were not the Ethiopians and the Libyans a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied on the LORD, he gave them into your hand.

Mert az ÚR szeme körbejár az egész földön, hogy hatalmát megmutassa azoknak, akik teljes szívvel ragaszkodnak hozzá. Bolondul cselekedtél ebben a dologban, ezért mostantól háborúk lesznek ellened.

Mert az Úr szemei forognak az egész földön, hogy hatalmát megmutassa azokhoz, a kik ő hozzá teljes szívvel ragaszkodnak; bolondul cselekedél ebben; azért mostantól kezdve háborúk lesznek te ellened.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Căci Domnul Îşi întinde privirile peste tot pământul, ca să sprijine pe aceia a căror inimă este întreagă a Lui. Ai lucrat ca un nebun în privinţa aceasta, căci de acum vei avea războaie.”

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”

Ászá megharagudott a prófétára, és tömlöcbe vettette, mert igen megharagudott rá e szóért. Ugyanakkor Ászá a nép közül is sokakat megnyomorgatott.

Akkor megharaguvék Asa a prófétára, és veté őt a tömlöczházba, mert igen megharagudott vala e szóért reá; és ugyanakkor Asa a nép közül is [sokat] megnyomoríta.

Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.

Asa s-a mâniat pe văzător şi l-a pus la închisoare, pentru că era înfuriat împotriva lui. Tot în acelaşi timp, Asa a apăsat şi pe unii din popor.

Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in the stocks in prison, for he was in a rage with him because of this. And Asa inflicted cruelties upon some of the people at the same time.

És íme, Ászának minden dolga elejétől a végéig meg van írva Júda és Izráel királyainak könyvében.

De ímé Asának mind első, mind utolsó dolgai meg vannak írva a Júda és az Izráel királyainak könyvében.

And, behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

Faptele lui Asa, cele dintâi şi cele de pe urmă, sunt scrise în cartea împăraţilor lui Iuda şi Israel.

The acts of Asa, from first to last, are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.

Királyságának harminckilencedik esztendejében megbetegedett Ászá a lábára, annyira, hogy igen súlyos volt a betegsége. De betegségében sem az URat kereste, hanem az orvosokat.

És megbetegedék Asa, királyságának harminczkilenczedik esztendejében lábaira, annyira, hogy igen súlyos volt az ő betegsége; mindazáltal betegségében is nem az Urat keresé, hanem az orvosokat.

And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.

În al treizeci şi nouălea an al domniei sale, Asa s-a îmbolnăvit de picioare aşa încât avea mari dureri; chiar în timpul bolii lui, n-a căutat pe Domnul, ci a întrebat pe doctori.

In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was diseased in his feet, and his disease became severe. Yet even in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but sought help from physicians.

Azután elaludt, és atyáihoz tért Ászá, és meghalt királyságának negyvenegyedik esztendejében.

És elaluvék Asa az ő atyáival, és meghala az ő királyságának negyvenegyedik esztendejében.

And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.

Asa a adormit cu părinţii săi şi a murit în al patruzeci şi unulea an al domniei lui;

And Asa slept with his fathers, dying in the forty-first year of his reign.

Eltemették a sírjába, amelyet Dávid városában vágatott magának. Nyugvóhelyére fektették, amelyet megtöltöttek drága balzsammal és jó illatú kenetekkel, és igen nagy tüzet gyújtottak érette.

És eltemeték őt az ő sírjába, a melyet magának vágatott vala a Dávid városában; és helyezék őt az ágyba, a melyet megtöltének drága fűszerekkel, s kenőcscsé feldolgozott jó illatokkal, és érette felette nagy égést rendezének.

And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries' art: and they made a very great burning for him.

l-au îngropat în mormântul pe care şi-l săpase în cetatea lui David. L-au culcat pe un pat pe care-l umpluseră cu mirodenii şi mirosuri pregătite după meşteşugul celui ce pregăteşte mirul şi au ars în cinstea lui foarte multe mirodenii.

They buried him in the tomb that he had cut for himself in the city of David. They laid him on a bier that had been filled with various kinds of spices prepared by the perfumer’s art, and they made a very great fire in his honor.
