Ezékiás huszonöt esztendős korában kezdett uralkodni, és huszonkilenc esztendeig volt király Jeruzsálemben. Anyja neve Abijjá volt, Zekarjáhú leánya.

Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

Ezt mondta nekik: Hallgassatok meg, léviták! Szenteljétek meg most magatokat; és az ÚRnak, atyáitok Istenének házát is szenteljétek meg: hordjatok ki minden tisztátalanságot a szent helyről!

And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

Mert vétkeztek a mi atyáink, és az ÚR előtt, a mi Istenünk előtt gonoszul cselekedtek: elhagyták őt, az ÚR hajlékától elfordították arcukat, és hátat fordítottak neki.

For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.

For our fathers have been unfaithful and have done what was evil in the sight of the LORD our God. They have forsaken him and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD and turned their backs.

They also shut the doors of the vestibule and put out the lamps and have not burned incense or offered burnt offerings in the Holy Place to the God of Israel.

Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.

Therefore the wrath of the LORD came on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has made them an object of horror, of astonishment, and of hissing, as you see with your own eyes.

For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

Fiaim, most ne tétlenkedjetek! Mert az ÚR kiválasztott titeket, hogy az ő szolgálatára előtte álljatok, és neki szolgáljatok, és jó illatot gerjesszetek.

Fiaim, most ne tévelyegjetek; mert az Úr választott titeket, hogy ő előtte állván, néki szolgáljatok; hogy szolgái legyetek néki és jóillatot szerezzetek.

My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.

Acum, fiilor, nu mai staţi nepăsători; căci voi aţi fost aleşi de Domnul ca să staţi în slujbă înaintea Lui, să fiţi slujitorii Lui şi să-I aduceţi tămâie.”

My sons, do not now be negligent, for the LORD has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him and to be his ministers and make offerings to him.”

Erre fölkeltek a léviták: Mahat, Amászaj fia, Jóel, Azarjáhú fia, akik kehátiak voltak, Merári fiai közül pedig Kís, Abdi fia és Azarjáhú, Jehallelél fia, a gérsóniak közül Jóáh, Zimmá fia és Éden, Jóáh fia,

And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.

They gathered their brothers and consecrated themselves and went in as the king had commanded, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.

Bementek a papok az ÚR házának legbelső részébe, hogy megtisztítsák. Kihordtak belőle az ÚR házának udvarába minden tisztátalan dolgot, amelyet az ÚR templomában találtak. A léviták pedig összeszedték azokat, hogy kihordják onnan a Kidrón-patakba.

And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.

Preoţii au intrat înăuntrul Casei Domnului ca s-o cureţe; au scos toate necurăţiile pe care le-au găsit în Templul Domnului şi le-au pus în curtea Casei Domnului, unde le-au adunat leviţii ca să le ducă afară în pârâul Chedron.

The priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD to cleanse it, and they brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it and carried it out to the brook Kidron.

Az első hónap első napján kezdték el a megszentelést, és a hónap nyolcadik napján bementek az ÚR házának csarnokába. Nyolc napon át szentelték meg az ÚR házát, és az első hónap tizenhatodik napján fejezték be.

Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

Au început aceste curăţări în ziua întâi a lunii întâi; în a opta zi a lunii au intrat în pridvorul Domnului, şi opt zile au curăţat Casa Domnului; în a şaisprezecea zi a lunii întâi isprăviseră.

They began to consecrate on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the vestibule of the LORD. Then for eight days they consecrated the house of the LORD, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.

Akkor odamentek Ezékiás királyhoz, és azt mondták: Megtisztítottuk mindenestül az ÚR házát, az égőáldozat oltárát is és minden hozzá tartozó edényt, a szent asztalt is minden fölszerelésével együtt.

Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.

Then they went in to Hezekiah the king and said, “We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the table for the showbread and all its utensils.

Minden más eszközt is helyreállítottunk és megszenteltünk, amelyet Áház király az uralkodása alatt megszentségtelenített, mikor Isten ellen vétkezett, és íme, mind az ÚR oltára előtt vannak.

Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.

Am adus iarăşi în stare bună şi am curăţat toate uneltele pe care le pângărise împăratul Ahaz în timpul domniei lui, când cu fărădelegile lui: sunt înaintea altarului Domnului.”

All the utensils that King Ahaz discarded in his reign when he was faithless, we have made ready and consecrated, and behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.”

And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.

And they brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. And he commanded the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the LORD.

So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.

So they slaughtered the bulls, and the priests received the blood and threw it against the altar. And they slaughtered the rams, and their blood was thrown against the altar. And they slaughtered the lambs, and their blood was thrown against the altar.

Azután odahozták a bűnért való bakokat a király és a gyülekezet elé, és rájuk tették a kezüket.

And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:

Then the goats for the sin offering were brought to the king and the assembly, and they laid their hands on them,

Miután a papok levágták azokat, vérükkel bűnért való áldozatot mutattak be az oltáron az egész Izráel megtisztulására. Mert az egész Izráelért parancsolta a király az égőáldozatot és a bűnért való áldozatot.

Minekutána a papok azokat megölték, bűnért való áldozást végeztek a vérökkel az oltáron, az egész Izráel megtisztulására; mert az egész Izráelért parancsolta vala a király az égőáldozatot és a bűnért való áldozatot.

And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

Preoţii i-au înjunghiat şi au turnat sângele la piciorul altarului, ca ispăşire pentru păcatele întregului Israel; căci pentru tot Israelul poruncise împăratul să se aducă arderea de tot şi jertfa de ispăşire.

and the priests slaughtered them and made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel. For the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

És odaállította a lévitákat az ÚR házába cintányérokkal, lantokkal és citerákkal, Dávidnak és Gádnak, a király prófétájának és Nátán prófétának a parancsa szerint. Mert az ÚR adta ezt a parancsot prófétái által.

And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the LORD by his prophets.

And he stationed the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres, according to the commandment of David and of Gad the king’s seer and of Nathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the LORD through his prophets.

Előálltak tehát a léviták Dávid hangszereivel, a papok pedig a kürtökkel.

Előállának azért a Léviták a Dávid [zengő ]szerszámaival; a papok is a trombitákkal.

And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

Ezékiás megparancsolta, hogy egészen elégő áldozatot áldozzanak az oltáron. És mikor megkezdődött az áldozás, ugyanakkor megkezdődött az ÚR éneke is és a kürtök harsogása Dávidnak, Izráel királyának hangszereivel.

And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.

Then Hezekiah commanded that the burnt offering be offered on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song to the LORD began also, and the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments of David king of Israel.

And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.

When the offering was finished, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.

Ezután Ezékiás király és a fejedelmek megparancsolták a lévitáknak, hogy Dávidnak és Ászáf látnoknak a szavaival dicsérjék az URat. Ők pedig, miközben nagy örömmel dicsérték az URat, meghajoltak és leborultak.

Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

And Hezekiah the king and the officials commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed down and worshiped.

Azután ezt mondta Ezékiás: Most már fel vagytok avatva az ÚR szolgálatára, jöjjetek tehát, és hozzatok véresáldozatokat és hálaáldozatokat az ÚR házába. És az egész gyülekezet véresáldozatokat és hálaáldozatokat hozott, és mindaz, akit a szíve arra indított, egészen elégő áldozatot is.

Azután szóla és monda Ezékiás: Most már felavattátok magatokat az Úrnak, azért jőjjetek, és hozzatok áldozatokat és dícsérő áldozatokat az Úr házában. És az egész gyülekezet hoza áldozatokat és dícsérő áldozatokat, és mindaz a kit a szíve indított, egészen égőáldozatot.

Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.

Ezechia a luat atunci cuvântul şi a zis: „Acum, după ce v-aţi sfinţit în slujba Domnului, apropiaţi-vă, aduceţi dobitoacele pentru jertfă şi aduceţi jertfe de mulţumire la Casa Domnului.” Şi adunarea a adus dobitoacele pentru jertfă şi a adus jertfe de mulţumire; şi toţi cei pe care-i îndemna inima au adus arderi de tot.

Then Hezekiah said, “You have now consecrated yourselves to the LORD. Come near; bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the house of the LORD.” And the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and all who were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.

Az égőáldozati állatok száma, amelyeket a gyülekezet hozott, ennyi volt: hetven bika, száz kos, kétszáz bárány. Mindez egészen elégő áldozat volt az ÚRnak.

És az égőáldozatra való barmok száma, a melyeket a gyülekezet hozott vala, [ez volt:] hetven tulok, száz kos, kétszáz bárány. Mindezek egészen égőáldozatul valának az Úrnak.

And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.

Numărul arderilor de tot aduse de adunare a fost de şaptezeci de boi, o sută de berbeci şi două sute de miei; toate aceste vite au fost jertfite ca ardere de tot Domnului.

The number of the burnt offerings that the assembly brought was 70 bulls, 100 rams, and 200 lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.

Azonkívül hatszáz bikát és háromezer juhot szenteltek az ÚRnak.

Azonkivül szenteltek az [Úrnak] hatszáz tulkot és háromezer juhot.

And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

Şi au mai închinat Domnului şase sute de boi şi trei mii de oi.

And the consecrated offerings were 600 bulls and 3,000 sheep.

De mivel a papok kevesen voltak, és nem győzték az áldozatokat mind megnyúzni, ezért testvéreik, a léviták segítségükre voltak mindaddig, míg azt a munkát el nem végezték, és míg a többi pap meg nem szentelte magát. Mert a léviták igazabb szívűek voltak a maguk megszentelésében, mint a papok.

De mivel a papok kevesen valának, és nem győzték az áldozatokat mind megnyúzni, ezért az ő atyjokfiai, a Léviták segítségökre valának nékik mindaddig, míg azt a munkát elvégezék, és míg a többi papok magokat megszentelék; mert a Léviták igazabb szívűek valának a magok megszentelésében, mint a papok.

But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

Dar preoţii erau în număr mic şi n-au putut să despoaie toate arderile de tot; i-au ajutat fraţii lor, leviţii, până s-a isprăvit lucrarea şi până s-au sfinţit şi ceilalţi preoţi; căci leviţii s-au sfinţit mai degrabă decât preoţii.

But the priests were too few and could not flay all the burnt offerings, so until other priests had consecrated themselves, their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was finished—for the Levites were more upright in heart than the priests in consecrating themselves.

Bőven volt egészen elégő áldozat is a hálaáldozatok kövérjével és az egészen elégő áldozatokhoz tartozó italáldozatokkal együtt. Így állították helyre az ÚR házában az istentiszteletet.

Az egészen égőáldozat is igen sok volt a hálaáldozatok kövérivel és az egészen égőáldozatokhoz való italáldozatokkal; és ekképen helyreállíttatott az Úr házának szolgálata.

And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

De altfel erau foarte multe arderi de tot, cu grăsimile jertfelor de mulţumire şi cu jertfele de băutură ale arderilor de tot. Astfel a fost aşezată din nou slujba Casei Domnului.

Besides the great number of burnt offerings, there was the fat of the peace offerings, and there were the drink offerings for the burnt offerings. Thus the service of the house of the LORD was restored.

Örvendezett azért Ezékiás és vele együtt az egész nép, hogy Isten késszé tette erre a népet, mert hirtelen történt ez a dolog.

Örvendeze azért Ezékiás és [ő vele] az egész gyülekezet, hogy az Isten erre hajlandóvá tette a népet; mert hirtelen történt ez a dolog.

And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.

Ezechia şi tot poporul s-au bucurat că Dumnezeu făcuse pe popor cu voie bună, căci lucrul s-a făcut pe neaşteptate.

And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because God had provided for the people, for the thing came about suddenly.
