Jeroboám király tizennyolcadik esztendejében kezdett uralkodni Abijjá Júdában.

Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam began Abijah to reign over Judah.

In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah began to reign over Judah.

Három évig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben. Anyja neve Míkájáhú volt, a gibeai Úriél leánya. Abijjá és Jeroboám között háború tört ki.

Három esztendeig uralkodék Jeruzsálemben. Az ő anyjának neve Mikája vala, a ki a Gibeából való Uriel leánya. És Abija és Jeroboám között háború vala.

He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Michaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.

El a domnit trei ani la Ierusalim. Mama sa se numea Micaia, fata lui Uriel din Ghibeea. Între Abia şi Ieroboam a fost război.

He reigned for three years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Micaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. Now there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.

Azért Abijjá háborút indított négyszázezer válogatott harcosból álló sereggel. Jeroboám nyolcszázezer válogatott harcosból álló sereggel szállt szembe vele.

Azért felkészüle Abija a háborúra négyszázezer válogatott harczosból álló sereggel; és Jeroboám vele szembeszállott nyolczszázezer válogatott harczosból álló sereggel.

And Abijah set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valour.

Abia a început lupta cu o oaste de războinici viteji, patru sute de mii de oameni aleşi; şi Ieroboam s-a înşiruit de bătaie împotriva lui cu opt sute de mii de oameni aleşi, războinici viteji.

Abijah went out to battle, having an army of valiant men of war, 400,000 chosen men. And Jeroboam drew up his line of battle against him with 800,000 chosen mighty warriors.

Akkor felállt Abijjá a Cemáraim-hegyen, amely Efraim hegységében volt, és így szólt: Hallgassátok meg szavamat, Jeroboám és egész Izráel!

And Abijah stood up upon mount Zemaraim, which is in mount Ephraim, and said, Hear me, thou Jeroboam, and all Israel;

De pe vârful muntelui Ţemaraim, care face parte din muntele lui Efraim, Abia s-a sculat şi a zis: „Ascultă-mă, Ieroboame, şi tot Israelul!

Then Abijah stood up on Mount Zemaraim that is in the hill country of Ephraim and said, “Hear me, O Jeroboam and all Israel!

Nem kellene-e tudnotok, hogy az ÚR, Izráel Istene Dávidnak és fiainak adta a királyságot Izráel felett örökre sószövetsége által?

Avagy nem kellene-é néktek meggondolnotok, hogy az Úr, az Izráel Istene Dávidnak adta volt a királyságot Izráel felett örökre; néki és fiainak, sónak szövetsége által?

Ought ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?

Nu trebuie oare să ştiţi că Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel a dat pe vecie domnia peste Israel lui David şi fiilor lui printr-un legământ care nu se poate călca?

Ought you not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingship over Israel forever to David and his sons by a covenant of salt?

Mégis fölkelt Jeroboám, Nebát fia, Salamonnak, Dávid fiának a szolgája, és az ő ura ellen támadt.

Mindazáltal felkele Jeroboám, a Nébát fia, Salamonnak, a Dávid fiának szolgája, és támada az ő ura ellen;

Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, is risen up, and hath rebelled against his lord.

Dar Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, slujitorul lui Solomon, fiul lui David, s-a sculat şi s-a răzvrătit împotriva stăpânului său.

Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, a servant of Solomon the son of David, rose up and rebelled against his lord,

Azután haszontalan emberek, Beliál fiai gyűltek hozzá, akik ellene szegültek Roboámnak, Salamon fiának, amikor még Roboám gyermek és félénk szívű volt, és nem tudta megvédeni magát velük szemben.

And there are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand them.

Nişte oameni de nimic, oameni răi, s-au strâns la el şi s-au împotrivit lui Roboam, fiul lui Solomon. Roboam era tânăr şi fricos şi nu putea să li se împotrivească.

and certain worthless scoundrels gathered about him and defied Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and irresolute and could not withstand them.

És most azt gondoljátok, hogy ti ellene állhattok az ÚR királyságának, amely Dávid fiainak a kezében van, mivel sokan vagytok, s veletek vannak az aranyborjak is, amelyeket Jeroboám öntetett nektek istenek gyanánt?

És most azt gondoljátok, hogy ti ellene állhattok az Úr királyságának, a mely a Dávid fiainak kezében [van], mivel sokan vagytok, s veletek vannak az aranyborjúk is, a melyeket Jeroboám öntetett néktek istenek gyanánt.

And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there are with your golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.

Şi acum, voi credeţi că puteţi ieşi biruitori asupra împărăţiei Domnului, care este în mâinile fiilor lui David; şi voi sunteţi o mare mulţime şi aveţi cu voi viţeii de aur pe care vi i-a făcut Ieroboam ca dumnezei.

“And now you think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David, because you are a great multitude and have with you the golden calves that Jeroboam made you for gods.

Nem ti űztétek-e el az ÚR papjait, Áron fiait és a lévitákat? És nem ti szereztetek-e magatoknak papokat, mint más országok népei, mert bárki, aki eljött egy fiatal bikával vagy hét kossal, hogy felavassák, papja lett azoknak, amik nem istenek?

Avagy nem ti űztétek-é el az Úrnak papjait, az Áron fiait és a Lévitákat? És nem ti szerzettetek-é magatoknak papokat, mint egyéb országoknak nemzetségei, akárkit, a ki az ő szolgálatjának felszentelésére egy gyermekded tulokkal és hét kossal eljött, és lett a [bálványok] papja, a melyek nem istenek.

Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.

N-aţi îndepărtat voi pe preoţii Domnului, pe fiii lui Aaron şi pe leviţi, şi nu v-aţi făcut voi preoţi, ca şi popoarele celorlalte ţări? Oricine venea cu un viţel şi şapte berbeci, ca să fie sfinţit, se făcea preot al celui ce nu este Dumnezeu.

Have you not driven out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made priests for yourselves like the peoples of other lands? Whoever comes for ordination with a young bull or seven rams becomes a priest of what are not gods.

Mi azonban megmaradtunk az ÚR, a mi Istenünk mellett, akit mi nem hagytunk el. A papok pedig, Áron fiai, az ÚRnak szolgálnak, és a léviták is végzik munkájukat.

Mi mellettünk van pedig az Úr, a mi Istenünk, a kit mi el nem hagytunk; a papok pedig, a kik az Úrnak szolgálnak, az Áron fiai, és vannak Léviták, a kik [forgolódnak] az ő tisztökben.

But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business:

Dar cât despre noi, Domnul este Dumnezeul nostru, şi noi nu L-am părăsit, preoţii din slujba Domnului sunt fii ai lui Aaron, şi leviţii stau şi îşi împlinesc slujbele.

But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him. We have priests ministering to the LORD who are sons of Aaron, and Levites for their service.

Minden reggel és minden este égőáldozatot és füstölőáldozatot mutatnak be az ÚRnak, és gondot viselnek arra, hogy kenyér kerüljön a tiszta asztalra, és az arany mécsestartó mécseseit meggyújtják minden este. Mert mi megtartjuk az ÚRnak, a mi Istenünknek a rendelését, ti pedig elhagytátok őt.

És áldoznak az Úrnak égőáldozattal minden reggel és minden estve, és füstölőáldozattal, [és] a kenyérnek a tiszta asztalra való tételére és az arany gyertyatartóra, szövétnekeivel egybe [gondot viselnek,] meggyújtván azokat minden estve; mert mi megtartjuk az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek rendelését; ti pedig elhagytátok őt.

And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.

Noi aducem în fiecare dimineaţă şi în fiecare seară arderi de tot Domnului, ardem tămâie mirositoare, punem pâinile pentru punerea înaintea Domnului pe masa cea curată şi aprindem în fiecare seară sfeşnicul de aur cu candelele lui; căci păzim poruncile Domnului Dumnezeului nostru. Dar voi L-aţi părăsit.

They offer to the LORD every morning and every evening burnt offerings and incense of sweet spices, set out the showbread on the table of pure gold, and care for the golden lampstand that its lamps may burn every evening. For we keep the charge of the LORD our God, but you have forsaken him.

Azért, íme, Isten mivelünk van vezér gyanánt, és az ő papjai a riadókürtökkel, hogy ellenetek kürtöljenek. Izráel fiai! Ne harcoljatok az ÚR ellen, atyáitok Istene ellen, mert nem lesztek szerencsések!

Azért ímé mi velünk van az Isten vezér gyanánt, és az ő papjai a riadó kürtökkel, hogy ti ellenetek kürtöljenek. Izráel fiai! Ne harczoljatok az Úr ellen, a ti atyáitok Istene ellen, mert nem lesztek szerencsések!

And, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

Iată că Dumnezeu şi preoţii Lui sunt cu noi, în fruntea noastră, şi avem şi trâmbiţele răsunătoare ca să sunăm din ele împotriva voastră. Copii ai lui Israel, nu faceţi război împotriva Domnului Dumnezeului părinţilor voştri, căci nu veţi avea nicio izbândă!”

Behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with their battle trumpets to sound the call to battle against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against the LORD, the God of your fathers, for you cannot succeed.”

Jeroboám pedig lest vetett ellenük, hogy hátuk mögé kerüljön, s ilyen módon a sereg ott volt Júda előtt, hátuk mögött pedig a lesben állók.

But Jeroboam caused an ambushment to come about behind them: so they were before Judah, and the ambushment was behind them.

Ieroboam i-a luat pe dinapoi, cu ajutorul unor oameni puşi la pândă, aşa că oştile lui erau în faţa lui Iuda, iar cei ce stăteau la pândă erau înapoia lor.

Jeroboam had sent an ambush around to come upon them from behind. Thus his troops were in front of Judah, and the ambush was behind them.

Látva pedig a júdaiak, hogy íme, elöl is, hátul is megtámadták őket, az ÚRhoz kiáltottak, a papok pedig megfújták a kürtöket.

Látván pedig Júda, hogy ímé mind elől, mind hátul megtámadtatának: kiáltának az Úrhoz, a papok pedig trombitálnak vala a trombitákkal.

And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.

Cei din Iuda, întorcându-se, au avut de luptat înainte şi înapoi. Au strigat către Domnul, şi preoţii au sunat din trâmbiţe.

And when Judah looked, behold, the battle was in front of and behind them. And they cried to the LORD, and the priests blew the trumpets.

Kiáltottak hát Júda férfiai. És amikor kiáltottak, Isten megverte Jeroboámot és az egész Izráelt Abijjá és Júda előtt.

És kiáltának Júda férfiai; és mikor kiáltának a Júda férfiai, az Isten megveré Jeroboámot és az egész Izráelt, Abija és Júda előtt.

Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

Oamenii lui Iuda au scos un strigăt de război şi, la strigătul de război al oamenilor lui Iuda, Domnul a lovit pe Ieroboam şi pe tot Israelul dinaintea lui Abia şi a lui Iuda.

Then the men of Judah raised the battle shout. And when the men of Judah shouted, God defeated Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

És Izráel fiai menekültek Júda elől, de Isten a kezükbe adta őket.

And the children of Israel fled before Judah: and God delivered them into their hand.

Copiii lui Israel au fugit dinaintea lui Iuda, şi Dumnezeu i-a dat în mâinile lui.

The men of Israel fled before Judah, and God gave them into their hand.

Mert megverte őket Abijjá és népe nagy csapással, annyira, hogy az izráeliek közül ötszázezer válogatott férfi esett el halálos sebbel.

And Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.

Abia şi poporul lui le-au pricinuit o mare înfrângere, şi cinci sute de mii de oameni aleşi au căzut morţi printre cei din Israel.

Abijah and his people struck them with great force, so there fell slain of Israel 500,000 chosen men.

Így aláztattak meg Izráel fiai abban az időben. Júda fiai pedig megerősödtek, mert ők az ÚRra, atyáik Istenére támaszkodtak.

És ilyen módon aláztatának meg az Izráel fiai abban az időben; Júda fiai pedig megerősödének, mert ők az Úrra, az ő atyáik Istenére támaszkodtak volt.

Thus the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the LORD God of their fathers.

Copiii lui Israel au fost smeriţi în vremea aceea, şi copiii lui Iuda au câştigat biruinţa, pentru că se sprijiniseră pe Domnul Dumnezeul părinţilor lor.

Thus the men of Israel were subdued at that time, and the men of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the LORD, the God of their fathers.

Abijjá üldözte Jeroboámot, és elfoglalt tőle egynéhány várost; Bételt és falvait, Jesánát és falvait, és Efravint és falvait.

És üldözé Abija Jeroboámot, és elfoglala ő tőle egynéhány várost, Béthelt és annak faluit, Jésanát és annak faluit, s Efrávint és annak faluit.

And Abijah pursued after Jeroboam, and took cities from him, Bethel with the towns thereof, and Jeshanah with the towns thereof, and Ephraim with the towns thereof.

And Abijah pursued Jeroboam and took cities from him, Bethel with its villages and Jeshanah with its villages and Ephron with its villages.

És többé nem kapott erőre Jeroboám Abijjá idejében, hanem megverte őt az ÚR, és meghalt.

És nem jutott többé erőhöz Jeroboám Abija idejében, hanem megveré őt az Úr, és meghala.

Neither did Jeroboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah: and the LORD struck him, and he died.

Ieroboam n-a mai avut putere pe vremea lui Abia, şi Domnul l-a lovit, şi a murit.

Jeroboam did not recover his power in the days of Abijah. And the LORD struck him down, and he died.

Abijjá pedig hatalmassá lett, és vett magának tizennégy feleséget, s huszonkét fiút és tizenhat leányt nemzett.

But Abijah waxed mighty, and married fourteen wives, and begat twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters.

But Abijah grew mighty. And he took fourteen wives and had twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.
