Jósáfát, Júda királya pedig békével visszatért a palotájába, Jeruzsálembe.

Megtére pedig Jósafát, a Júda királya az ő házához Jeruzsálembe békével.

And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.

Iosafat, împăratul lui Iuda, s-a întors în pace acasă la Ierusalim.

Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned in safety to his house in Jerusalem.

Ekkor elébe ment Jéhú próféta, Hanáni fia, és azt mondta Jósáfát királynak: Hát az istentelennek kellett segítened és az ÚR gyűlölőit szeretned? Ezért nagy az ÚR haragja ellened.

És eleibe méne Jéhu próféta, a Hanáni fia, és monda Jósafát királynak: Avagy az istentelennek kellett-é segítségül lenned, és az Úrnak gyűlölőit szeretned? Ezért nagy az Úrnak haragja ellened.

And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

Iehu, fiul prorocului Hanani, i-a ieşit înainte şi a zis împăratului Iosafat: „Cum de ai ajutat tu pe cel rău şi ai iubit pe cei ce urăsc pe Domnul? Din pricina aceasta este mâniat Domnul pe tine.

But Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to King Jehoshaphat, “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the LORD.

De némi jó dolgot is találtam benned, hogy kivágattad e földről az Asérá-oszlopokat, és Isten keresésére adtad magadat.

Mindazáltal némi jó dolog találtatott benned, hogy e földről kivágattad az Aserákat és az Istennek keresésére adtad magadat.

Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

Dar tot se mai găseşte şi ceva bun în tine, căci ai înlăturat din ţară idolii şi ţi-ai pus inima să caute pe Dumnezeu.”

Nevertheless, some good is found in you, for you destroyed the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek God.”

Ezután Jósáfát egy ideig Jeruzsálemben tartózkodott, azután pedig kiment a nép közé, Beérsebától fogva egészen Efraim hegységéig, és az ÚRhoz, atyáik Istenéhez térítette őket.

És Jósafát [egy ideig] Jeruzsálemben tartózkodék, azután pedig kiméne a nép közé, Beersebától fogva mind az Efraim hegységéig, és megtéríté őket az Úrhoz, az ő atyáiknak Istenéhez;

And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.

Iosafat a rămas la Ierusalim. Apoi a mai făcut o călătorie prin mijlocul poporului, de la Beer-Şeba până la muntele lui Efraim, şi i-a adus înapoi la Domnul Dumnezeul părinţilor lor.

Jehoshaphat lived at Jerusalem. And he went out again among the people, from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim, and brought them back to the LORD, the God of their fathers.

Városonként bírákat rendelt ki Júda minden megerősített városába,

És rendele bírákat azon a földön, Júdának minden erős városaiba, városonként.

And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,

A pus judecători în toate cetăţile întărite din ţara lui Iuda, în fiecare cetate.

He appointed judges in the land in all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city,

és azt mondta nekik: Nézzétek meg jól, hogy mit cselekszetek, mert nem emberek nevében, hanem az ÚR nevében ítélkeztek, aki veletek lesz az ítélettételben.

És monda a bíráknak: Jól meglássátok, a mit cselekesztek; mert nem ember [nevében] ítéltek, hanem az Úrnak [nevében,] a ki az ítéletben veletek [lesz.]

And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.

Şi a zis judecătorilor: „Luaţi seama la ce veţi face, căci nu pentru oameni veţi rosti judecăţi; ci pentru Domnul, care va fi lângă voi când le veţi rosti.

and said to the judges, “Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the LORD. He is with you in giving judgment.

Azért féljétek az URat, vigyázzatok arra, amit tesztek. Mert az ÚRnál, a mi Istenünknél nincsen hamisság, sem személyválogatás, sem vesztegetés elfogadása.

Azért az Úr félelme legyen rajtatok, vigyázzatok [arra,] a mit tesztek; mert az Úrnál, a mi Istenünknél nincsen hamisság, sem személyválogatás, sem ajándékvétel.

Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

Acum, frica Domnului să fie peste voi; vegheaţi asupra faptelor voastre, căci la Domnul Dumnezeul nostru nu este nicio nelegiuire, nici nu se are în vedere faţa oamenilor, nici nu se primesc daruri.”

Now then, let the fear of the LORD be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the LORD our God, or partiality or taking bribes.”

Sőt Jeruzsálemben is kinevezett Jósáfát némelyeket a léviták, papok és Izráel családfői közül az ÚR nevében való ítélkezésre és perdöntésre. Ezek visszatértek Jeruzsálembe.

Sőt Jeruzsálemben is beállíta némelyeket Jósafát a Léviták, papok és az Izráel nemzetségeiből való fejedelmek közül az Úr ítéletére és a perlekedésekre. És ők Jeruzsálembe visszatérének.

Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.

Când s-a întors la Ierusalim, Iosafat a pus şi aici, pentru judecăţile Domnului şi pentru neînţelegeri, leviţi, preoţi şi căpetenii peste casele părinteşti ale lui Israel.

Moreover, in Jerusalem Jehoshaphat appointed certain Levites and priests and heads of families of Israel, to give judgment for the LORD and to decide disputed cases. They had their seat at Jerusalem.

Ezt hagyta meg nekik: Így cselekedjetek az ÚR félelmében, hűséggel és teljes szívvel:

És meghagyá nékik, mondván: Így cselekedjetek az Úrnak félelmében hűséggel és tökéletes szívvel.

And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

Şi iată poruncile pe care li le-a dat: „Voi să lucraţi în frica Domnului, cu credinţă şi curăţie de inimă.

And he charged them: “Thus you shall do in the fear of the LORD, in faithfulness, and with your whole heart:

Bármilyen peres ügyet hoznak elétek atyátokfiai, akik a maguk városaiban laknak, vérontásra, törvényre és parancsolatra, rendelkezésekre vagy ítéletekre tekintettel, intsétek őket, hogy ne vétkezzenek az ÚR ellen, és ne szálljon reátok és atyátokfiaira az ÚR haragja. Így cselekedjetek, és akkor nem vétkeztek.

Ha valamely pert előtökbe hoznak a ti atyátokfiai, a kik lakoznak az ő városaikban, emberhalál, törvény és parancsolat, a rendtartások és ítéletek miatt: intsétek őket, hogy ne vétkezzenek az Úr ellen, és ne szálljon reátok és a ti atyátokfiaira [az Úr] haragja. Így cselekedjetek és ne vétkezzetek.

And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in your cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

În orice neînţelegere care vă va fi supusă de fraţii voştri care locuiesc în cetăţile lor, şi anume: cu privire la un omor, la o lege, la o poruncă, la învăţături şi rânduieli, să-i luminaţi, ca să nu se facă vinovaţi faţă de Domnul şi să nu izbucnească mânia Lui peste voi şi peste fraţii voştri. Aşa să lucraţi, şi nu veţi fi vinovaţi.

whenever a case comes to you from your brothers who live in their cities, concerning bloodshed, law or commandment, statutes or rules, then you shall warn them, that they may not incur guilt before the LORD and wrath may not come upon you and your brothers. Thus you shall do, and you will not incur guilt.

És íme, Amarjáhú pap lesz a fölöttesetek az ÚR minden dolgában. A király minden dolgában pedig Zebadjáhú, Jismáél fia, a Júda házának feje. A léviták is elöljáróitok lesznek. Legyetek azért erősek a tisztségetekben, és az ÚR mellette lesz az igaznak.

És ímé Amária pap lesz a fő ti köztetek az Úrnak minden dolgaiban; és Zebádia, az Ismáel fia lesz a Júda házának vezére a király minden dolgában; a Léviták is előljáróitok lesznek. Legyetek azért erősek a ti tisztetekben és az Úr mellette lesz az igaznak.

And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good.

Şi iată că aveţi în frunte pe marele preot Amaria, pentru toate treburile Domnului, şi pe Zebadia, fiul lui Ismael, căpetenia casei lui Iuda, pentru toate treburile împăratului, şi aveţi înainte ca dregători pe leviţi. Întăriţi-vă şi lucraţi, şi Domnul să fie cu cel ce va face binele!”

And behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the governor of the house of Judah, in all the king’s matters, and the Levites will serve you as officers. Deal courageously, and may the LORD be with the upright!”
