Roboám elment Sikembe, mert Sikembe gyűlt egész Izráel, hogy királlyá tegye őt.

Elméne Roboám Síkembe; mert Síkembe gyűlt vala az egész Izráel, hogy őt királylyá választanák.

And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for to Shechem were all Israel come to make him king.

Roboam s-a dus la Sihem, căci tot Israelul venise la Sihem să-l facă împărat.

Rehoboam went to Shechem, for all Israel had come to Shechem to make him king.

Mikor ezt Jeroboám, Nebát fia meghallotta, aki akkor Egyiptomban volt – mert oda menekült Salamon király elől –, visszatért Egyiptomból,

Lőn pedig, mikor ezt meghallotta Jeroboám, a Nébát fia, a ki [akkor ]Égyiptomban vala; mert oda futott volt Salamon király elől, visszatére Jeroboám Égyiptomból.

And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was in Egypt, whither he fled from the presence of Solomon the king, heard it, that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.

Când a auzit lucrul acesta, Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, era în Egipt, unde fugise de împăratul Solomon; şi s-a întors din Egipt.

And as soon as Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard of it (for he was in Egypt, where he had fled from King Solomon), then Jeroboam returned from Egypt.

mivel érte küldtek, és hazahívták őt. Eljött azért Jeroboám egész Izráellel együtt, és ezt mondták Roboámnak:

És hozzáküldvén, elhivaták őt. Eljöve azért Jeroboám és az egész Izráel, és szólának Roboámnak, mondván:

And they sent and called him. So Jeroboam and all Israel came and spake to Rehoboam, saying,

Au trimis să-l cheme. Atunci Ieroboam şi tot Israelul au venit la Roboam şi i-au vorbit aşa:

And they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all Israel came and said to Rehoboam,

Apád igen megnehezítette a mi igánkat, de te most könnyítsd meg apádnak súlyos szolgálatát és nehéz igáját, amelyet reánk vetett, és akkor szolgálunk neked!

A te atyád igen megnehezítette a mi igánkat, de te most könnyebbítsd meg atyádnak kemény szolgálatát és az ő nehéz igáját, a melyet reánk vetett, és szolgálunk néked.

Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee.

„Tatăl tău ne-a îngreuiat jugul: acum uşurează această aspră robie şi jugul greu pe care l-a pus peste noi tatăl tău. Şi îţi vom sluji.”

“Your father made our yoke heavy. Now therefore lighten the hard service of your father and his heavy yoke on us, and we will serve you.”

Erre így felelt nekik: Harmadnapig gondolkodom rajta, azután jöjjetek hozzám. Erre elment a nép.

És monda nékik: Harmadnapig [gondolkodom róla,] azután jőjjetek hozzám. Elméne azért a nép.

And he said unto them, Come again unto me after three days. And the people departed.

El le-a zis: „Întoarceţi-vă la mine după trei zile.” Şi poporul a plecat.

He said to them, “Come to me again in three days.” So the people went away.

Ekkor Roboám király tanácskozott a vénekkel, akik apja, Salamon tanácsosai voltak még életében, és ezt kérdezte: Mit tanácsoltok, mit válaszoljak e népnek?

És tanácskozék Roboám király a vén [ember]ekkel, a kik Salamon előtt az ő atyja előtt állottak vala életében, mondván: Mit tanácsoltok, mit válaszoljak e népnek?

And king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel give ye me to return answer to this people?

Împăratul Roboam a întrebat pe bătrânii care fuseseră cu tatăl său, Solomon, în timpul vieţii lui, şi a zis: „Ce mă sfătuiţi să răspund poporului acestuia?”

Then King Rehoboam took counsel with the old men, who had stood before Solomon his father while he was yet alive, saying, “How do you advise me to answer this people?”

Azok így szóltak: Ha jóindulattal leszel ehhez a néphez, ha kedvezel nekik, és jó szóval beszélsz hozzájuk, akkor szolgáid lesznek mindenkor.

És azok ekképen szólának: Ha javára leendesz ennek a népnek, s kedvezel nékik és jó szóval beszélsz hozzájok; akkor te szolgáid lesznek mindenkor.

And they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever.

Şi iată ce i-au zis ei: „Dacă vei fi bun cu poporul acesta, dacă-i vei primi bine şi dacă le vei vorbi cu bunăvoinţă, îţi vor sluji pe vecie.”

And they said to him, “If you will be good to this people and please them and speak good words to them, then they will be your servants forever.”

De ő megvetette, amit a vének tanácsoltak neki, és tanácsot tartott az ifjakkal is, akik ővele növekedtek föl, és neki szolgáltak.

De ő megvetette a vének tanácsát, a melyet néki tanácsoltak, és tanácsot tarta az ifjakkal, a kik ő vele nevekedtek volt fel és néki udvaroltak.

But he forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood before him.

Dar Roboam a lăsat sfatul pe care i-l dădeau bătrânii şi a întrebat pe tinerii care crescuseră cu el şi care-l înconjurau.

But he abandoned the counsel that the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men who had grown up with him and stood before him.

Ezt kérdezte tőlük: Mit tanácsoltok, milyen választ adjunk e népnek, akik ezt mondták nekem: „Könnyítsd meg az igát, amelyet a te apád reánk vetett”?

És monda azoknak: Ti micsoda tanácsot adtok, hogy választ adjunk e népnek, a kik nékem így szólának: Könnyebbítsd meg az igát, a melyet a te atyád reánk vetett.

And he said unto them, What advice give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us?

El le-a zis: „Ce mă sfătuiţi să răspund poporului acestuia care-mi vorbeşte astfel: „Uşurează jugul pe care l-a pus tatăl tău peste noi”?”

And he said to them, “What do you advise that we answer this people who have said to me, ‘Lighten the yoke that your father put on us’?”

Az ifjak, akik vele együtt növekedtek föl, így feleltek: Így szólj a néphez, amely azt mondta neked: „Apád megnehezítette a mi igánkat, te pedig könnyítsd meg rajtunk”; így szólj nekik: Legkisebb ujjam is vastagabb apám derekánál.

Akkor felelének az ifjak, a kik ő vele együtt nevekedtek vala, mondván: Így szólj a népnek, a mely szólván néked, azt mondja: A te atyád megnehezítette a mi igánkat, te pedig könnyebbítsd meg nékünk; így szólj nékik: Az én legkisebb ujjam erősebb atyám derekánál;

And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

Şi iată ce i-au zis tinerii care crescuseră cu el: „Aşa să vorbeşti poporului acestuia care ţi-a vorbit aşa: „Tatăl tău ne-a îngreuiat jugul, iar tu uşurează-ni-l!”, să le vorbeşti aşa: „Degetul meu cel mic este mai gros decât coapsele tatălui meu.

And the young men who had grown up with him said to him, “Thus shall you speak to the people who said to you, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you lighten it for us’; thus shall you say to them, ‘My little finger is thicker than my father’s thighs.

Most azért, ha apám nehéz igát vetett reátok, én még nehezebbé teszem igátokat. Ha apám ostorral fegyelmezett titeket, én skorpiókkal.

Most azért, ha az én atyám nehéz igát vetett reátok, én még nehezebbé teszem igátokat; ha az én atyám ostorral vert titeket, én skorpiókkal.

For whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

Acum, tatăl meu a pus peste voi un jug greu, dar eu îl voi face şi mai greu: tatăl meu v-a pedepsit cu bice, dar eu vă voi pedepsi cu scorpioni.”

And now, whereas my father laid on you a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke. My father disciplined you with whips, but I will discipline you with scorpions.’”

Harmadnapra Jeroboám és az egész nép Roboámhoz ment, amint a király meghagyta ekképpen: Jöjjetek hozzám harmadnapon!

És elméne Jeroboám és az egész nép Roboámhoz harmadnap, a mint a király meghagyta, ezt mondván: Jőjjetek hozzám harmadnapon.

So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam on the third day, as the king bade, saying, Come again to me on the third day.

Ieroboam şi tot poporul au venit la Roboam a treia zi, după cum le spusese împăratul: „Întoarceţi-vă la mine peste trei zile.”

So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king said, “Come to me again the third day.”

És a király kemény választ adott nekik. Megvetette Roboám király a vének tanácsát,

És a király kemény választ adott nékik, megvetve Roboám király a vének tanácsát.

And the king answered them roughly; and king Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,

Împăratul le-a răspuns aspru. Împăratul Roboam a lăsat sfatul bătrânilor

And the king answered them harshly; and forsaking the counsel of the old men,

és az ifjak tanácsa szerint így szólt nekik: Ha apám megnehezítette a ti igátokat, én még nehezebbé teszem azt. Ha apám ostorral fegyelmezett titeket, én skorpiókkal.

És az ifjak tanácsa szerint szóla nékik, mondván: Ha az én atyám megnehezítette a ti igátokat, én még nehezebbé teszem azt; ha az én atyám ostorral vert titeket, én skorpiókkal.

And answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

şi le-a vorbit aşa, după sfatul tinerilor: „Tatăl meu v-a îngreuiat jugul, dar eu îl voi îngreuia şi mai mult; tatăl meu v-a pedepsit cu bice, dar eu vă voi pedepsi cu scorpioni.”

King Rehoboam spoke to them according to the counsel of the young men, saying, “My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to it. My father disciplined you with whips, but I will discipline you with scorpions.”

És a király nem hallgatta meg a népet. Ezt az ÚR intézte ekként, hogy beteljesítse az ÚR az ő beszédét, amelyet a silói Ahijjá által mondott Jeroboámnak, Nebát fiának.

És a király nem hallgatá meg a népet; mert ezt az Úr fordította ekként, hogy megerősítené az Úr az ő beszédét, a melyet szólott vala a Silóbeli Ahija által Jeroboámnak, a Nébát fiának.

So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

Astfel împăratul n-a ascultat pe popor; căci aşa rânduise Dumnezeu, în vederea împlinirii cuvântului pe care-l spusese Domnul prin Ahia din Silo lui Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat.

So the king did not listen to the people, for it was a turn of affairs brought about by God that the LORD might fulfill his word, which he spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

Mikor pedig az egész Izráel látta, hogy nem hallgatta meg őket a király, így felelt a nép a királynak: Mi részünk van nekünk Dávidban? Nincsen nekünk örökségünk Isai fiában! Menj a sátraidba, ó, Izráel! Te pedig viseld gondját a magad házának, ó, Dávid! Elment azért hajlékaiba az egész Izráel.

Mikor pedig az egész Izráel [látta,] hogy nem hallgatá meg őket a király, felele a nép a királynak, mondván: Micsoda részünk van nékünk Dávidban? Nincsen nékünk örökségünk az Isai fiában! [Menj el] a te hajlékidba, oh Izráel! Ám viseld gondját a te házadnak, oh Dávid! Elméne azért hajlékiba az egész Izráel;

And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.

Când a văzut tot Israelul că împăratul nu-l ascultă, poporul a răspuns împăratului: „Ce parte avem noi cu David? Noi n-avem nicio moştenire cu fiul lui Isai! La corturile tale, Israele! Acum, vezi-ţi de casă, Davide!” Şi tot Israelul s-a dus în corturile lui.

And when all Israel saw that the king did not listen to them, the people answered the king, “What portion have we in David? We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse. Each of you to your tents, O Israel! Look now to your own house, David.” So all Israel went to their tents.

Roboám pedig Izráelnek csak azokon a fiain uralkodott, akik Júda városaiban laktak.

Úgy, hogy Roboám csak azokon az Izráel fiain uralkodék, a kik Júda városaiban laktak.

But as for the children of Israel that dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

Copiii lui Israel care locuiau în cetăţile lui Iuda au fost singurii peste care a domnit Roboam.

But Rehoboam reigned over the people of Israel who lived in the cities of Judah.

És mikor elküldte Roboám Hadórámot, az adószedőt, megkövezték őt Izráel fiai, és meghalt. Roboám király pedig sietve harci szekerébe szállt, és Jeruzsálembe menekült.

És mikor elküldé Roboám Adorámot, az adószedőt, megkövezék őt Izráel fiai, és meghala; Roboám király pedig siete szekerébe ülni, hogy Jeruzsálembe szaladjon.

Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram that was over the tribute; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. But king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

Atunci, împăratul Roboam a trimis pe Hadoram, care era mai mare peste dări. Hadoram a fost împroşcat cu pietre de copiii lui Israel şi a murit. Şi împăratul Roboam s-a grăbit şi s-a suit într-un car ca să fugă la Ierusalim.

Then King Rehoboam sent Hadoram, who was taskmaster over the forced labor, and the people of Israel stoned him to death with stones. And King Rehoboam quickly mounted his chariot to flee to Jerusalem.

Így szakadt el Izráel népe Dávid házától, s így van ez mind e mai napig.

Így szakada el az Izráel népe a Dávid házától, mind e mai napig.

And Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day.

Astfel s-a dezlipit Israel de casa lui David până în ziua de azi.

So Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David to this day.
