Elaludt, és atyáihoz tért Jósáfát, és eltemették atyái mellé Dávid városában. Utána fia, Jórám lett a király.

És meghala Jósafát az ő atyáival egyetemben, és eltemetteték az ő atyáival a Dávid városában; és uralkodék helyette az ő fia, Jórám.

Now Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

Iosafat a adormit cu părinţii săi şi a fost îngropat cu părinţii săi în cetatea lui David. Şi, în locul lui, a domnit fiul său Ioram.

Testvérei, Jósáfát fiai ezek voltak: Azarjá, Jehiél, Zakarjáhú, Azarjáhú, Míkáél és Sefatjáhú. Ezek mind Jósáfátnak, Júda királyának a fiai voltak.

És az ő testvérei, a Jósafát fiai [ezek valának:] Azária, Jéhiel, Zakariás, Azáriás, Mikáel és Sefátja. Ezek mind Jósafátnak, az Izráel királyának fiai voltak.

And he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah: all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.

Ioram avea ca fraţi, fii ai lui Iosafat, pe Azaria, Iehiel, Zaharia, Azaria, Micael şi Şefatia, toţi fii ai lui Iosafat, împăratul lui Israel.

He had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael, and Shephatiah; all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.

Apjuk sok ajándékot adott nekik, ezüstöt, aranyat, drágaságokat és júdabeli megerősített városokat. De a királyságot Jórámnak adta, mert ő volt az elsőszülött.

És adott nékik az ő atyjok sok ajándékot ezüstben, aranyban és drágaságokban, Júdabeli megerősített városokkal; de a királyságot Jórámnak adá, mivel ő vala elsőszülötte.

And their father gave them great gifts of silver, and of gold, and of precious things, with fenced cities in Judah: but the kingdom gave he to Jehoram; because he was the firstborn.

Tatăl lor le dăduse daruri însemnate în argint, în aur şi în lucruri scumpe, împreună cu cetăţi întărite în Iuda; dar împărăţia a lăsat-o lui Ioram, pentru că el era întâiul născut.

Their father gave them great gifts of silver, gold, and valuable possessions, together with fortified cities in Judah, but he gave the kingdom to Jehoram, because he was the firstborn.

Amikor Jórám elkezdett uralkodni apja királyságában, és már megerősödött, fegyverrel gyilkoltatta meg minden testvérét, sőt néhányat Izráel fejedelmei közül is.

Kezde azért Jórám az ő atyjának királyságában uralkodni, és mikor immár abban megerősödött, az ő testvéreit mind megölé fegyverrel; sőt Izráel fejedelmei közül is [némelyeket.]

Now when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel.

Când a luat Ioram în stăpânire împărăţia tatălui său şi când s-a întărit, a omorât cu sabia pe toţi fraţii săi şi pe vreo câţiva din capii lui Israel.

When Jehoram had ascended the throne of his father and was established, he killed all his brothers with the sword, and also some of the princes of Israel.

Harminckét esztendős korában kezdett uralkodni Jórám, és nyolc esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben.

Jehoram was thirty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

Ioram avea treizeci şi doi de ani când a ajuns împărat şi a domnit opt ani la Ierusalim.

Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

Izráel királyainak útján járt, úgy cselekedett, mint Aháb háza népe, mert Aháb lányát vette feleségül. Az ÚR szemében gonosz dolgot cselekedett.

És jára az Izráel királyainak útján, a mint cselekszik vala az Akháb háznépe; mert az Akháb leányát vette vala magának feleségül; és az Úr szemei előtt gonosz dolgot cselekedék.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD.

El a umblat în calea împăraţilor lui Israel, cum făcuse casa lui Ahab, căci avea de nevastă pe o fată a lui Ahab, şi a făcut ce este rău înaintea Domnului.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for the daughter of Ahab was his wife. And he did what was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Mégsem akarta az ÚR elveszíteni Dávid házát a szövetségért, amelyet Dáviddal kötött, és mivel ígéretet tett, hogy mécsest ad neki és fiainak mindenkor.

Nem akará mindazáltal az Úr a Dávid házát elveszteni a szövetségért, a melyet Dáviddal kötött, és mivel igéretet tett vala, hogy szövétneket ad néki és az ő fiainak minden időben.

Howbeit the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.

Dar Domnul n-a voit să piardă casa lui David, din pricina legământului pe care-l făcuse cu David şi din pricina făgăduinţei pe care o făcuse că îi va da întotdeauna o lumină, lui şi fiilor lui.

Yet the LORD was not willing to destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and since he had promised to give a lamp to him and to his sons forever.

Az ő idejében szakadt el Edóm Júda keze alól, és királyt választottak maguknak.

In his days the Edomites revolted from under the dominion of Judah, and made themselves a king.

In his days Edom revolted from the rule of Judah and set up a king of their own.

Akkor Jórám odavonult minden vezérével és harci szekerével. És éjjel fölkelt, és leverte az edómiakat, akik körülvették őt és harci szekereinek a vezéreit.

Elméne ugyan Jórám az ő vezéreivel és a szekerek mind ő vele, és felkelvén éjjel, megveré az Edomitákat, a kik őt körülvették vala, és szekereiknek fejedelmeit;

Then Jehoram went forth with his princes, and all his chariots with him: and he rose up by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him in, and the captains of the chariots.

Ioram a pornit cu căpeteniile şi cu toate carele sale. Sculându-se noaptea, a bătut pe edomiţi, care-l înconjurau, şi pe căpeteniile carelor lor.

Then Jehoram passed over with his commanders and all his chariots, and he rose by night and struck the Edomites who had surrounded him and his chariot commanders.

Mégis elszakadt Edóm Júda keze alól mindmáig. Ugyanekkor szakadt el Libná is az ő keze alól, mivel elhagyta az URat, atyái Istenét.

Mindazáltal Edom elszakada Júdának keze alól mind e mai napig. Ugyanakkor elszakada Libna is az ő keze alól, mivel elhagyta az Urat, atyái Istenét.

So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.

Răscoala lui Edom împotriva stăpânirii lui Iuda a ţinut până în ziua de azi. În acelaşi timp s-a răsculat şi Libna împotriva stăpânirii lui, pentru că părăsise pe Domnul Dumnezeul părinţilor săi.

So Edom revolted from the rule of Judah to this day. At that time Libnah also revolted from his rule, because he had forsaken the LORD, the God of his fathers.

Ő is csináltatott magaslatokat Júda hegyein, és így paráznaságba vitte a jeruzsálemieket, sőt Júdát is erre biztatta.

Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled Judah thereto.

Ioram a făcut chiar înălţimi în munţii lui Iuda. A târât pe locuitorii Ierusalimului la curvie şi a amăgit pe Iuda.

Moreover, he made high places in the hill country of Judah and led the inhabitants of Jerusalem into whoredom and made Judah go astray.

Közben pedig eljutott hozzá Illés próféta írása, amely így szólt: Ezt mondja az ÚR, atyádnak, Dávidnak Istene: Mivel nem jártál atyádnak, Jósáfátnak az útján, sem Júda királyának, Ászának az útján,

Juta pedig azonközben az Illés próféta írása hozzá, mondván: Ezt mondja az Úr, a te atyádnak, Dávidnak Istene: Mivel nem járál a te atyádnak, Jósafátnak útján, sem a Júda királyának, Asának útján;

And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

And a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, “Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, ‘Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, or in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

hanem Izráel királyainak az útján jártál, és Júda meg Jeruzsálem lakóit paráznaságba vitted, amint Aháb háza is paráználkodik, sőt mi több, testvéreidet, atyád háza népét is megöletted, akik jobbak voltak nálad,

Hanem járál az Izráel királyainak útján, és azt műveléd, hogy Júda és Jeruzsálem lakói paráználkodjanak, a mint az Akháb háza is paráználkodik; annakfelette testvéreidet, atyádnak házát megöléd, a kik jobbak voltak nálad:

But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father's house, which were better than thyself:

ci ai umblat în calea împăraţilor lui Israel; pentru că ai târât la curvie pe Iuda şi locuitorii Ierusalimului, cum a făcut casa lui Ahab faţă de Israel; şi pentru că ai omorât pe fraţii tăi, care erau mai buni decât tine şi care făceau parte din însăşi casa tatălui tău; –

but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel and have enticed Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem into whoredom, as the house of Ahab led Israel into whoredom, and also you have killed your brothers, of your father’s house, who were better than you,

íme, az ÚR nagy csapást bocsát népedre, fiaidra, feleségeidre és minden jószágodra.

Ímé az Úr nagy csapást bocsát a te népedre, fiaidra, feleségeidre és minden jószágodra.

Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods:

iată, Domnul va lovi cu o mare urgie pe poporul tău, pe fiii tăi, pe nevestele tale şi tot ce este al tău.

behold, the LORD will bring a great plague on your people, your children, your wives, and all your possessions,

Te pedig súlyos betegségbe, bélbajba esel, olyannyira, hogy beled naponként kijön a betegség miatt.

Te pedig súlyos betegségbe, bélbajba [esel], mindaddig, míg a te béled naponként kimegy a betegség miatt.

And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.

Iar pe tine te va lovi cu o boală grea, cu o boală de măruntaie care se va îngreuia din zi în zi până când îţi vor ieşi măruntaiele din pricina tăriei bolii.”

and you yourself will have a severe sickness with a disease of your bowels, until your bowels come out because of the disease, day by day.’”

Felindította azért az ÚR Jórám ellen a filiszteusokat és az arábiaiakat, akik az etiópokkal határosak voltak.

Felindítá azért az Úr Jórám ellen a Filiszteusok és az Arábiabeliek elméjét, a kik a szerecsenekkel határosok valának.

Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that were near the Ethiopians:

Şi Domnul a aţâţat împotriva lui Ioram duhul filistenilor şi al arabilor, care sunt în vecinătatea etiopienilor.

And the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the anger of the Philistines and of the Arabians who are near the Ethiopians.

Fölvonultak Júda ellen, megtámadták, és zsákmányul vitték mindazt a vagyont, ami található volt a király palotájában, sőt fiait és feleségeit is, és nem maradt neki más fia, csak Jóáház, a legkisebb.

És feljövének Júda ellen és megtámadván őt, zsákmányul vivék mindazt a vagyont, a mi a király házában található volt, sőt fiait és feleségeit is, és nem maradt néki más fia, csak Joákház, a legkisebbik.

And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

S-au suit împotriva lui Iuda, au năvălit în el, au jefuit toate bogăţiile care se aflau în casa împăratului şi i-au luat fiii şi nevestele, aşa încât nu i-a mai rămas alt fiu decât Ioahaz, cel mai tânăr dintre fiii săi.

And they came up against Judah and invaded it and carried away all the possessions they found that belonged to the king’s house, and also his sons and his wives, so that no son was left to him except Jehoahaz, his youngest son.

Mindezek után megverte őt az ÚR felette nagy bélbajjal, amely gyógyíthatatlan volt.

És mindezek után megveré őt az Úr felette nagy bélbajjal, mely gyógyíthatatlan vala.

And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

După toate acestea, Domnul l-a lovit cu o boală de măruntaie, care era fără leac.

And after all this the LORD struck him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

És ez így volt napról napra, egészen a második év végéig, amikor kizáródtak a belei a betegség miatt, és meghalt nagy kínok közepette. Népe nem égetett neki drága illatos fűszereket, mint atyáinak égettek.

És [ez] így volt napról-napra, egészen a második év végéig, midőn belei kifolytak a betegség miatt, és meghala nagy kínokban: és népe nem égete néki [drága illatú fűszereket,] mint az ő atyáinak égettek vala.

And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.

Ea s-a îngreuiat din zi în zi, şi pe la sfârşitul anului al doilea i-au ieşit lui Ioram măruntaiele din pricina tăriei bolii. A murit în dureri grele. Şi poporul lui n-a ars tămâie în cinstea lui, cum făcuse pentru părinţii lui.

In the course of time, at the end of two years, his bowels came out because of the disease, and he died in great agony. His people made no fire in his honor, like the fires made for his fathers.

Harminckét esztendős volt, amikor uralkodni kezdett, és nyolc esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben. És mikor minden részvét nélkül kimúlt, eltemették Dávid városában, de nem a királyi sírba.

Harminczkét [esztendős] vala, mikor uralkodni kezde, és nyolcz esztendeig uralkodék Jeruzsálemben. És mikor minden részvét nélkül kimula, eltemeték őt a Dávid városában; de nem a királyok sírjába.

Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.

Avea treizeci şi doi de ani când a ajuns împărat şi a domnit opt ani la Ierusalim. A murit fără să lase părere de rău în urmă, şi l-au îngropat în cetatea lui David, dar nu în mormintele împăraţilor.

He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he departed with no one’s regret. They buried him in the city of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.
